Listen, there like 3 Jimin solo songs I like and I am not a big fan of some of his vocal choices but let me tell you I was really hyped and hooked when the teasers came out. The drama, war anthem-ness, the grandeur of everything, I liked it all. So I was quite disappointed when the news of him rapping came out because I've heard him rap before and it was bad, and I especially was reluctant to watch the whole MV after I heard a snippet of it on my tl (the stylistically autotuned rap part, yeah). I was afraid to be disappointed after such great teasers.

despite my fears I finally watched the MV... fuck... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK PARK JIMIN??? It's so damn good! Even the rap part??? I LOVED it. Separately it doesn't sound very nice but combined and mixed it somehow works well. And his stylistic vocal choices, the way he changes his voice all the time, it's amazing, it keeps you hooked and anticipating what comes next, it keeps surprising you, even shocked at some point. I haven't been a fan of bts songs since the fake love era (even black swan is not IT for me, it's really good but not THAT great) so it says a lot. this one is easily one of my faves EVER in their discography.

The song is a statement. A grand opening. Empowering.

BTW, the song is totally a type of song that you would play in your car while driving around with your friends and singing-shouting along. Wow, just wow.

Ask 2: Opinions on set me free pt. 2 seem to be divided in some circles 👀👀👀 ofc because of the vocal processingz that’s a common complaint for so many years already lol. I mean Pdogg is the main producer of the album so idk what they expected… personally i love the song and i think the vocal processing works but i think i can understand some people have different tastes and expectations… at the end of that day it was a choice consciously chosen by jimin and his producers. It’s there for a reason imo. I’m happy though that jimin really tried something different!!!!! So many people were expecting a ballad for this title instead we got a banger lol… and like you said Yoongi’s style is obvious even when he doesnt have a hand in making it directly… now i’m so curious what like crazy will sound like!!!! I don't think I'll ever write a full review for this song, because there's a lot about it I don't want to talk about, a lot I don't want to share and would rather keep to myself.

That said,

Everything about Set Me Free Pt. 2 is right up my alley and objectively brilliant. Every single thing about it: the melody, the autotune, the chants, the rap, the fact the whole thing plays out in the same prison, the way Jimin uses his body as a canvas for inscriptions that only enhance his storytelling, the performance.

I have nothing to say to anyone who doesn't like this or that about it. Rapper Jimin was in my wishlist for PJM1 so... and I'm a hiphop head who listens to Travis Scott-type autotune at least a couple times a day. Plus I've got Yoongi, that nasty, autotune-loving, foul-mouthed cat as my bias. Joon and Hobi aren't that much nicer either. Anybody reading this to hear me say something critical about this song should wake up and smell the matcha.

Some things I want to gush about:

First of all, the instrumentals. PDogg went stuuuuuuuuuuuupid on this track goddamn.

This song is pure trap. An orchestral, haunting trap anthem is what Set Me Free Pt. 2 is.

It is so sick. So maddening in how good it is. No wonder he was so excited about Jimin ending k-pop in 2023, the song he produced is easily the best produced Korean song so far and believe me when I tell you that is really saying something, because the competition this year has been stiff.

The Vocals

Jimin's voice is the most emotive in BTS. That's one reason I love it. Another reason is because nobody's vocals in BTS, in k-pop, fuck, in all of Korea, drips as much sauce as Park Jimin's. I've said before, Jimin sounds inhuman almost, I describe his voice as serrated steel coated in honey and wrapped in silk because it sounds distinctly metallic, but can be oddly soothing. But with Jimin, there's a tone he takes sometimes that has this undercurrent of nasty, of unapologetic vulgarity, and in Set Me Free Pt. 2, he uses autotune to amplify it to brain-piercing perfection.

PDogg brilliantly uses autotune to aid Jimin in sending a message.

The shrillest, most distorted we hear Jimin is when he raps after the first chorus, and that's by design. The use of autotune in this song is intentional, and we can see this because every time it ratchets up, Jimin is being crude and uninhibited - as though it's a second voice, an alter-ego, or Jimin himself speaking the deepest truest thoughts he holds, pushing them to the surface after suppressing them for nine years.

PDogg has used this sort of autotune on Jimin's voice before, in the second chorus of Black Swan (timestamp: 2:24 - 2:50)

It's hidden in the backing vocals in Black Swan but felt in full cathartic force in SMF pt 2. And it feels incredible.

This is the part I don't want to write about because I'd rather keep my thoughts to myself. Not because I have special insight or think I've discovered something no one else sees or whatever, but because it's the only thing about this song that stayed within my expectations of who I think Jimin is. Plus I'm certain various interpretations will be offered by many other bloggers, so I'm okay sitting this one out.

My Thoughts on Xikers debut!

So Xikers recently debuted with the album House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing and I wanted to share my thoughts! I’ve been keeping an eye on them as KQ has released more content to build hype and I think they were very easy for me to get interested in compared to many other groups. And their album did not disappoint!

I won’t go into my specific thoughts on every song but I think the entire album as a whole is very well done. Its cohesive and high energy in a way that doesn’t feel annoying or dull, due to the great musicality from the production team (Hongjoong, Edenary crew, ily). If I had to describe the concept, it’s a sort of trickster concept with a modern, youthful kind of twist. They play around a little bit with varying genres while keeping a distinct Kpop sound as the through-line. I enjoyed it very much and I’ve been listening to it often since release!

(I hear they also have lore. I’m not gonna dive into that until like. Next comeback. It looks complicated and I don’t have enough material to judge yet lol)

When you look for negative opinions of them so far, the biggest thing I’ve seen is that people think they’re too much like Ateez, that KQ is just making them Ateez junior, etc. I can see why they feel like it sounds a bit similar, but at the same time, Ateez has a particular sound that I just… don’t really hear in these tracks? Idk how to describe it, like Ateez songs tend to have a more cinematic feeling most of the time I think? I could see a comparison between this album and maybe Fever part 2, but even then its a very vague similarity and I’ve always felt that particular album kind of stuck out of Ateez’s music. I think if Xikers were under JYP, everyone would compare them to Stray Kids in the same way, right? They just sound like a kpop boy group.

Also… yeah I’m sure KQ is trying to make a follow up to Ateez, one of their most profitable business moves to date (come on, KQ fellaz and then KQ fellaz 2? It’s pretty clear). But the members of Xikers are distinct individuals, and their personalities will naturally influence the direction of their music and performances. They will eventually move out from the shadows of senior performers. Hopefully they can bring something very new or innovative to their second comeback, make a wave like hala hala did but in a whole new way.

Anyway, to close on a positive note, here are some of my favorite things I’ve noticed from Xikers thus far!

Sumin! He’s probably my bias, along with Hunter? Hunter’s dance skills are CRAZY (and he did that one performance to all time hit Juggernaut by my fav Tyler the Creator so I’m. Biased.) Sumin kinda snuck up on me tho, for some reason he reminded me a bit of Changbin? But distinctly different, he has this particular kind of coolness yknow? I’m always rapper biased😔.

In Xikey, Minjae’s shout of “Xikers” rly gave me goosebumps! So powerful, he went all in and it paid off!

Edenary, HJ i am Kissing u deeply for Dynamic, that track fucks severely

Yechan… that kid has some crazy potential and I think everyone knows it. With him as well as the other members, I look forward to learning more about them as individuals and seeing those traits shine through in their music.

Rose it's 5 am and I haven't slept yet and I am so not normal about this. I have been around a lot of JIBs so I knew what was coming. Yet, I still am so overwhelmed by everything that happened. I have watched the cockles panel twice by now. Some scenes I have definitely watched more than 20 times. I have perceived more and more details every time I rewind. Jensen Ackles butt wiggling. Him winking at Misha. That weird expression on his face when he made a wish. The movement of chairs, which is, of course - as it always is every JIB - closer together. The weird non-improvisation of the improvisation. Daniela coming in with the CW sniper in the form of a birthday cake to stop Jensen coming out as Misha Collins' boyfriend. Not to mention all the other big things that happened. Canary? Kissing Misha? When in Rome??? The preparation of Misha's 50th birthday party. Misha and Jensen playing an European puppet show with Misha shouting "Dieter I love you! Kiss me Dieter". Rose. Jensen said Misha is Danneel's boyfriend. Jensen said Misha is his boyfriend. The underbear and straddlegate have walked so that this Jibcon panel could run. How am I supposed to sleep? I am not even attending a convetion yet the convention high is keeping me restless. I feel like I need a continuation. Like this was a series finale with a cliffhanger that needs to be resolved. Like there are things that need to come up so this can settle. I have been a cockles perceiver since years yet my patience is limited right now. I mean if I wait a day or two I know it will wear of. It always does. But the boyfriend will stay. Thirteen Era Rewatch: The Halloween Apocalypse

I'm re-watching Thirteen's era in lead up to the Centenary and since this is likely going to be my last full re-watch for a while I thought I'd do a post on each ep where I just go over all the things I love, hate or just have some general thoughts on.

When S13 aired I made a posts similar to this after re-watching each ep before the next one came out. The Halloween apocalypse post can be found HERE.

I still can’t believe S13 started off with Thasmin in a bed together like…

I remember when this ep first aired and when I rewatched it before ep two I didn’t give a single fuck about the tunnel guy. But then by the end of the series I was like oh this is kinda cool

Dan’s first scene where he’s hyping up Liverpool is kinda cringe. Idk if it’s the dialogue or how John plays it but I’m not a huge fan

If this is foreshadowing I will materialise in Chris Chibnall’s bedroom at 3AM

Remember when we had these pics and people were speculating what it was. I remember some ppl thought it was Davros and I was genuinely baffled. I think I thought the eye had Sontaran vibes

Yaz getting annoyed and frustrated at 13 in this ep is just so amazing idek what to say. This was what I so desperately wanted to see from S13 and Chib really pulled through

Claire interrupting their chat is so annoying. It happens multiple times in this ep and then in 13.06. Like instead of a convo naturally coming to its end, something gets in the way so characters aren’t forced to actually respond and it makes me crazy

Proud 13 :’) I love seeing Yaz be more Doctor-y and I feel like her literally controlling the TARDIS is a 10/10 way of showing it

The whole scene in the TARDUS where 13 says about not mentioning everything is 10/10 (up until the convo gets cut off)

I do think what’s going on with Azure is fairly obvious. She got sent away as her punishment and I assume chameloned, and the warning that showed up was them telling her Swarm escaped. And then when Swarm got to her he managed to reverse it/get her back. I do think more time spent on her might have been nice but also I think all the info we need is literally right there so it’s like who cares idk. I imagine there was some cut scenes and we got left with the bare bones of what we need to understand which is fine imo

since there's no serial star wars until august and it's a series i'm not sure i can sit through i'm gonna turn this into sentai brainrot.

i like kingoh this much i've watched every episode at least three times and trying to piece together all the information. i love rita so much i'm planning kingoh FLT and dissecting their costume and sewn a plush and possibly will buy a toy during its run

now i'm just racing to finish kingoh brainrot before May 4 so I can concentrate on Visions vol 2. After Sixth debut I probably had to put things on hold for real to do school work. I hope.

it's plot-heavy and serial unlike your typical sentai but almost typically anime/shonen with a heavy fantasy setting and character designs. but do you need more reason than 'rita kanisuka' to watch it. and the tokusatsu action/direction is so good.

i started a toku sideblog @mofffun anyway so i will be free-r over there. kinda wanna post opinions here and gifs over there lol. maybe polished gifsets here and random gifs over there. my queue is low in the tens but i certainly have many SW stock. i won't remove that completely just, not actively going for it? i'd still do regular tag searches on top of what came on my dashboard, but i might not write/talk about SW for a while? i still have a couple books to read

it feels weird because i became an SW centric blog since I came back 3 years ago. Not to say I didn't have other stuff chimed in but it's been 95% SW running non stop for 3 years. It's weird to have a sudden shift that stays. Talking about fixating on kingoh. I love the thrill of collecting clues and unraveling its plot. I love thinking again. I love that it gave me a reachable goal to work towards. Though half the time i'm just shouting RITA KAWAII/KAKKOUI i don't really pay attention to what's being said. It's been saccahrine the past 48 hours and i'm exhausted and elated. they got me crawling my ass up sunday at 8 to watch nitiasa live again.

compared with star wars it's just, ₻₻₻ (<- scribble). Mando s3 was a letdown and nobody cares about tbb. i can't stand how hype ppl are for the ahserka series and it feels like a minefield getting to know others with that hanging. sometimes i had to listen to ill-informed forum bros dissing, and when i look at official stuff, i begin to question who's actually keeping the lore.

it's not all negative. i still haven't done a totj!togruta analysis (even though i don't really want to think about totj itself because all it is to me is episode 5). i'm still super excited about SWC2025. i still love ahsoka (yes holding that throne against rita). I know I will be blown away by Visions as well. But I've been letting that define and govern me for too long it's time to let somebody else have a chance.

I'm crazy scared i won't be able to finish work this time. i'd hate that. i'm working the courage to tell my fam i need some space but, every time i actually said that, it's no use anyway. because i'm special. i'm responsible. what i do will never be enough.

i also try not to think to much about the society or where i will be in five years. it's like, some of the things i ultimately want can't happen unless you give it a few years of effort but i don't dare to dream that far. eh

well good thing ko let me think all that. i like thinking. i like writing.

Yeah tbh Dream and Sapnap both were quiet a lot of the time, and Tommy said at one point in the stream 'am I too quirky for this group?' so I think he felt out of place, also he actually started talking to tubbo at one point and was telling him he didn't really like among us.

George I think was just happy vibing with his stream- also I'm starting to realise that he's immune to awkwardness, he's just happy to hang out with whoever. I'm getting more and more certain that Dream and Sapnap are true introverts but George is an ambivert lol.

awww tommy :’) tommy is deffo very quirky haha more than some people can handle :’) but i feel like that group is very used to him, they just don’t get as wild. like corpse and sykkuno kind of stay on the same tone level, they’re more reserved they don’t shout or anything. rae and leslie get quite hyped so they popped off a few times, bretman usually doesn’t get too crazy either he’s just a sassy king he doesn’t need to raise his voice. toast seemed very quiet too. 

i feel like tommy enjoys among us when it’s more with the crazier group that he’s more comfortable with. among us is on the same level as monopoly, you wanna play it with people you’re very comfortable with because accusations are gonna get thrown around and y’all are gonna get pissed off at each other :’) so it’s not really a game you wanna play with acquaintances i guess? sometimes it really works like i find the previous lobbies with the minecraft people and the amigops have been epic! the vibes were just much more toned down this time around i feel

and yeah george genuinely is so immune to awkwardness, he fits in with absolutely anyone and he’s just good to go :’) he deffo toned down a lot when everyone left but still did great! i can’t imagine sapnap playing with the amigops without dream or george there haha! and when dream plays, 70% of the time he’s pretty quiet unless one of his close friends joins :’)

My tribute for the anime ending (for now) TT^TT

Ever since "adulting" my will to watch animes became weaker and weaker. Yeah crazy right lmao. I used to marathon a bunch of animes before without breaking a sweat but now it feels just like a heavy task for some reason

Thats why I currently prefer reading mangas only bec it's faster (plus no fillers or whatever alterations!) Tho I can say my reading power has also weaken (I cant even finish shit)

Anyway! In the manga site that I use, I saw BC on the top 5 list so I decided to read. After catching up with the manga, I tried watching the anime and surprisingly I didnt drop it unlike BNHA in which after 3 eps I stopped watching and thought "I'm good with just the manga" Alright before y'all throw your pitchforks at me, I aint hatin ok lol. I like BNHA! My fanarts are proof!

I just dunno why I managed to marathon the anime of BC (despite my circumstances) but not BNHA. So I guess I like BC more haha. BC anime started in 2017 and when I joined the fandom in 2019, the anime was still underrated. I think there were more haters than fans during that time

The major reasons were: 1.) Asta was noisy at the beginning lmao. Yep I saw a lot of people complaining about this (BC fans also acknowledge it). Even my college homie said he did not know BC was great since he dropped it at first since Asta was so noisy. He was glad he gave it another try

Well I didnt really find Asta noisy unlike everyone else maybe bec I went through Naruto and Natsu? Ok maybe Asta is a level higher than them but you get the point lol. I know he shouts most of the time at the start but I didnt get irritated, I just found him funny haha. 2.) Animation is fine but not on par with most animes right now. Others might say "nahh the drawing is just shitty plain simple" but I disagree. I probs won't watch it if the drawing is shitty in the first place bec I am picky af when it comes to drawing so the fact that BC passed my standards then it means it isn't!

There's a "legendary" anime/manga that I wont even read/watch bec of the drawing so dont me! I'm gonna get cancelled if I mentioned it tho lol. In my defense, BC came out weekly and as you can see, it's almost on the same pacing with the manga (that's why it needs a break). Unlike the other hyped/top animes rn which comes out per season so ofc they gonna have more time in creating better animation. BC really do have wonky times but I assure you whenever there's a big fight, the animation is fire. So yeah bec of these 2 main reasons, most people dropped it right off the bat

I dont know how to end this long ass post lmao. I guess I am just happy that I was part of the BC fandom before it was cool (probs why it's close to my heart) since most animes rn started hot with a big following from the beginning. We stan underdogs in this house

HOWEVER at the same time I am also sad that it has to end specially in the middle of a big arc. Oh well the anime has to give time for the manga so we understand.

As you wondered the crowd, looking for a certain red head. You got pulled aside. Leaving the crowd a few meters behind yourself. Looking for who it was, you calmed down when seeing it was Mina.

"Oh Mina great, I need to find Eij-"

"We need to go to the medical tent!" She hurried, she continued to drag you away.

"Woah why? Why now?" you barely was able to keep up with Minas pace. She then stopped for a moment, and leaned in.

"I-I think.. I'm pregnant.." she whispered in your ear, she watched for your reaction.

"T-that's great! Maybe a bit early but still great!" you tried to hype her up. It was the truth, it was great but maybe a tad early. She and Eijiro had only been together a year and they were still very much.. um.. party people.

"I don't know if it is great..." she let out a stressed sigh, pulling a bit at her hair.

"Ok well that's fine, it's not 100% that you'er pregnant so calm down" you stroked her back, whispering calming nonsense. "There are things for it if... you don't want to keep it.." you stroked her hair, it wasn't normal to abort yet so the thought of it was disturbing. But anything for your best friend. "Come on, let's get going" you led her to the medical tent, it was a bit to walk. Which in this case was good, the party wouldn't be heard from the medical tent.

Now standing there, you were trying to calm Mina down. You had mixed the drink that would been step one of the pregnancy test. The second would have been too pee, if she was pregnant, the pee would turn green or slightly blue. Now you would have to convince her to drink it.

"Mina... calm down.. you just need to drink this and then you don't have to do anything." you stroked her arm up and down. You weren't really good at calming down people. But no one would be able to calm her down.

"I can't what, if I'm pregnant... What will I do? Maybe I should just.. you know.." she pulled at her fingers. A nervous and stressed habit she had done since being a child.

"You know you can't.. it can hurt you if you'er not pregnant.." you kissed her forehead "I know it's hard but you have to.." you stroked her arms, up and down while hugging her. You knew this was hard for her, but she had to do it. You pulled up the cup up to her mouth. "Drink it... please, for me baby" she nodded and you tipped the cup in her mouth. She cringed and swallowed, she shook her head and gulped. "Now.. you'er not aloud to drink or eat anything else until you pee.." you slightly chuckled, and she smiled at you. You continued to converse with her, about old memories and about Kirishima.

Someone cleared their throat in the exit of the tent. You both whipped your heads to the person and you blushed. There stood Midoryia and he smiled at you... great. He had let out his hair and stood leaned against the door frame, with his arms crossed.

"Hey, there you are... I've been looking for you" he said, and you couldn't register how he meant that. He then shifted, for the first time since he came into the tent, to Mina. "Could I get a minute alone with her?" Mina nodded and went to stand up and shot a tight smile at you. When she walked by Midoryia, she muttered a quiet 'not even a hello for me huh?'. Midoryia ignored her and walked towards you, you sat down and he towered over you.

"Heey... Midoryia.. how are you?" you chuckled nervously, when you said his name, he frowned.

"I'm good.. but why are you calling me Midoryia.. why not Izuku?" he tilted his head.

"Well.. I um.. I don't know..? he he.." you pushed the chair back, but not enough because the wall caged you in. You thought about just wheeling through the wall.

"Do you mind if I ask you a question?" he walked closer and leaned down a bit.

"Do you like me?" now you tilted your head, confusion written all over your face. "Do you like Kacchan more than me?" now you slightly blushed, what did he mean?

"What do you m-mean?" you stood up and slid out from being wedged between him and the wall. You walked backwards, towards the exit.

"I mean.. if I competed for you and Bakugou did the same.. who would you choose?" what kind of question was that?! Was he planning to compete for you? Bakugou was right... he would do that. And he's asking me to choose between them? As you stopped, he walked to you. He caressed your cheek and shudders ran up your back.

"Deku.. I can't choose between you two..." you stepped put of his hold, backing away. Now shudders ran up his back. The way you said his name, with some kind of disgust. Damn, Bakugou was right about a lot of things, deku probably got off thinking about you being mean towards him. When suddenly you hit the wall, or what you thought was the wall. A grunt behind you could be heard and suddenly a arm was around you. Hugging you, and you recognized that arm, Bakugou..

"It's true Midoryia, Ba- Katsuki and I are.. dating.." you smiled and held Bakugous arm. You swear you felt him tensing and relaxing. Midoryia seemed sceptical, he eyed you and Bakugou up and down.

"I don't believe you, not you, Bakugou at least.."

"The fuck? Nobody cares if you believe us or not, nerd"

"Does anyone know?"

"No.. we wanted to keep it secret, you know, more fun that way" you winked at him and hugged Bakugou tighter.

"Then I'll compete for you and I'll tell everyone Mina is having and abortion after sleeping with Bakugou here" Midoryia told the pair of his plans confidently.

"What the fuck? I'll beat you the fuck up, you little bitch" Bakugou walked towards him, leaving you behind.

"Do that, it works better for me anyway" Midoryia smirked, not backing down.

"Midoryia, what the fuck? You seriously can't even think about doing that?!" you shouted out, furious at the 'innocent boy' who was fucked up.

"I will and can... give me an chance, Y/n" Midoryia pleaded, his puppy eyes could trick anyone.

"I can't! I have a boyfriend that's right in front of you who will kill you and you'er seriously fucked up!"

"Then.. I'll do it.."

but he'd make time to watch you on your final night of the tour. he'd even talk with jumin to have all of rfa fly out to your location and plan to surprise you at a local restaurant with your team

doesn't know much about vocal technique so he'll ask zen for help every now and then

when you're apart, you guys are constantly facetiming. he especially loves it when you're getting ready so he can listen to you sing softly while you're putting on makeup or getting your hair done for the performance.

#Rave to the Grave (Out of Character) #TOOK ME HOUIRS BUT I DID IT #Even if I didn't mention you you are STILL VALID #Love you all!

after all the hype about big revelations happening in the debris finale, i was woefully underwhelmed. this was an episode literally about ‘emotional resonance’ but it had none (apart from a few bryan and finola moments). this show has (or should i say had since it’s now been cancelled) so much potential for cool sci-fi mysteries but that is not enough if we don’t connect with the characters. we need characters we put our trust in and relationships (platonic and romantic) we can root for. in general, the regular and recurring cast was a revolving door of either untrustworthy villains or interchangeable day players. even in the beginning, it was hard to know if we trust could truly trust bryan or finola. and even when we did start to care about bryan and finola, we were given their moments sparingly.

it’s no surprise that the multiverse two-parter with our leads in full ride or die mode are the ones the audience connected with the most, drawing in new viewers and cementing brinola as a ship we wanted to sail. while the time jumping mystery was intriguing, it was the emotional resonance of bryan and finola’s relationship that made us care about them and the show. furthermore, the twins were more than random-debris-victims-of-the-week. instead their familial love grounded the chaos of the multiverse and made them excellent partners with bryan and finola to solve the problem and complete the mission. watching the four of them get to know each other and work together was everything i wanted from this show. honestly, i was shouting at the screen that i wished the twins could join the team permanently. 

sadly, the finale had very little of bryan and finola’s ‘emotional resonance’. a small thing that would have made a huge difference is if bryan had come back early and gotten captured by otto’s gang. first, he could have had his own moment of betrayal with george and trying to talk to him about it. then bryan would have known about the memory wipe but be unable to do anything about it or them forcing the pill on finola. next he could have had a super cool moment with finola, where he tells finola to remind him about who he is and their mission together after his memory is wiped and finola could ask ‘all of this sounds crazy. what if you don’t believe me?’ and bryan would say ‘i’ve always believed you’. hit us in the feels please! after they deactivated the debris and bryan collapsed, they could have let finola run over to bryan and when he wakes it still would have been a shock for him to look at her with full recognition in his eyes and say ‘finola’. then the scene could continue as it did in the show with otto’s revealing bryan as the third man. watching bryan and finola go through hell together would have made all the difference.

in the end, it was no surprise that george betrayed them because they never made us trust him in the first place. as for maddox, his family storyline has to be the biggest waste of space in this show. if you took it out entirely it wouldn’t make a difference at all. in fact, it would be an improvement as the time could be filled with better things we actually care about. the major problem with maddox (besides being a government goon totally fine with weaponizing the debris) is that he not only actively lied to our leads but he made them lie to each other. for someone who is supposed to be ‘on their side’, he was really the biggest villain of them all. if maddox was with influx and had been stealing all the parts for his son, it would have made more sense.  maddox’s biggest sin wasn’t his stealing but that he didn’t trust his team to help him steal. this is a huge contrast to bryan and finola whose trust in each other allows them to betray the system together to help save her father. maddox trusts no one, not even his own wife. why should we trust him? when bryan said that they need to tell maddox everything at the end, i screamed ’NO!’ lol cause he is not worthy of their trust. there’s really only two options for brinola: go rogue and recruit people to their cause or continue with orbital but start a splinter group to undermine it. 

i don’t fault nbc for the lack of viewers. if this show was like that fantastic two-parter every week, it would be easy to promote this show and gain a decent size audience. high concept sci-fi and fantasy shows cannot move slowly in revealing the mysteries unless your character development is off the charts. even doctor-lawyer-cop procedurals live and die on how much the audience connects with the characters. worldwide competition for tv series is increasing, i’ve spent the last two months binging korean dramas including a few in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. it’s incredibly rare for their shows to have multiple seasons. the majority are limited series with 16 full-hour episodes (the equivalent to 22 american broadcast episodes) with which to tell their full story. i’m finding this refreshing as they hold nothing back ‘for next season’. they put in all the great character development and all the cool mysteries which have actual answers but they’re also not afraid to have a slightly open ending if they could come back but which in no way detracts from what the series has accomplished. american tv writers of high concept shows please take note: put it all out there like you’re not coming back because you’re probably not, but leave a crack open for you to put it all out there again. and above all, make us care about the characters. brinola you will be missed but not forgotten. they deserved better.

Twisted Wonderland: Headcanons for Dorm Haunted Houses Pt.5 - Octavinelle

Part 4

Probably the longest headcanon one I had so far. LOL.

TW: Slight dubcon elements and submechanophobia. 

THE ATTRACTION: 

This dorm’s haunted house is quite unique because it’s a mish-mash between a cruise ship and the jazz lounge hall from the Roaring 1920s. For some reason, after thorough research, Azul wanted to include ‘submechanophobia’ (fear of animatronics submerged in water) into the haunted dorm concept himself. 

Azul went crazy with all the merchandise - there were T-Shirts, posters, the most adorable set of acrylic keychains! And the piece of resistance is a two-song single that he and the twins have recorded. It has a physical and digital release, of which the latter had 1,300,000 downloads in just one day. 

The promos are crazy too. The way the staff had shot the commercial for the dorm’s haunted house is so cinematically professional that many were taught it was a real movie itself. Luckily, Azul also recorded the dorm’s theme. PS: They also did Pomefiore’s promo video too for a cut share of 15%.

Azul wanted to increase his clients on Monstro Lounge, but he cannot go easy on the student participants as well. He wanted to hear BOTH screams - so the treatment for the students in the survival game and the guests is going to be very different from another. 

Regular guests will be scared in a standard manner: jumpscares from animatronics, a bit of gas blowing on their necks - NO TOUCHING AT ALL.

As for the students… well, they’re most likely to get attacked ALL THE TIME. Your name it: physical touches, animatronics dragging them to their ‘doom’, etc. That’s why the dorm made a contract clause to the participants warning them that there will be physical touching and a safe word is provided. Most participants did not read this except for a few. Like MC and Jack. Unless they purchased his charms. 

Yes, the octopus capitalist had created their own charms that worked only for this haunted house ONLY. It protects students from the monsters, well MOSTLY. 

Perhaps because he was attached to the band he, Floyd, and Jade once made back in middle school, he wanted to include the entertainment aspect as well, perhaps for nostalgic sake. Plus, he did it because he knew people would pay money to see hot idol guys singing jazz songs. Of course, he did, why do you doubt him so?

“Do instruments of torture count?” Floyd asked during the first band meeting. Azul quickly dismissed it. And no, mayonnaise is definitely NOT a musical instrument. 

When guests and student participants arrived in the dorm’s haunted house, they were lured into an abandoned pier. During the walk in the eerie, fog-infested docks, guests could see some posters of missing people, old posters of a cruise ship trip promotion, a poster featuring the Octavinelle band in old-timey fashion and old news articles about a tragic malfunctioning animatronic accident. 

As they approached closer, they could hear several jazz songs, including electro swings coming from somewhere. Guests also noticed some abandoned, dilapidated animatronics that was missing some parts, giving it a frightening outlook. What really unsettles them most are writings on the wall that are written either in blood or blacks markers: “TURN BACK!” “WATCH OUT!” “STAY AWAY FROM THE CRUISE SHIP!”

They arrived at their destination: a large cruise ship was waiting on them. On the entrance, the dorm staff sold their merchandise and charms to the students themselves. Already traumatized by the two previous haunted houses, most students hurriedly buy the charm itself. Grimm wanted one because there is no way he would want to be “attacked” again, but Deuce managed to stop him from buying an ‘unnecessary’ object (“Unnecessary my foot! We’re talking about the benefit of humanity here!”).

Ace secretly buys one. “There’s not wrong with being prepared!” He whispered to himself.

Entering the den of the beast, they went inside a lavish foyer area that is reminiscent of a scene in titanic. Chandeliers, art deco furniture, and art, as well as posters of the animatronic bands, were shown in meticulous detail. 

They were then seated at a wide, spacious restaurant theater area. The staff hyped the audience by asking them to sing a few lines from Azul’s song, before introducing Azul’s band like in a jazz concert. 

They began the pre-show in a unique way. Azul is a showstopper mysterious owner and headline singer for “Monstro Lounge”, the cruise ship that is rumored to have a multitude of people missing. Floyd and Jade are his lackeys with the same headline as well. 

Azul charms the audience with a siren-like voice, putting the audience into his trance. For some reason, the Octavinelle trio tends to direct their gazes, winks, and fanservice towards MC the most. It then evolved into a Broadway show-stopping number.

The way Azul plays his piano is started off slow, increasing his tempo and so does his seduction and flamboyance. He makes an expression that one could mistake as a man experienced in the bedroom. 

Floyd goes crazy with his drums. Meanwhile, Jade plays his contrabass with grace and elegance, fingers touching it lightly but spicy. 

Many female clientele almost had a nosebleed... or this close to fainting. 

AZUL UNBUTTONED HIS SHIRT TEASINGLY DURING HIS NUMBER. They’re starting to lose it. 

Oh, the fan’s screams actually racked up their scream counter. There’s no cheating here - who says that happy screams can’t count? 

Yes, Azul does sing on top of the piano. 

After they finished their show, Azul then unleashed one of his proudest creations, an animatronic of a lovely mermaid doll that began to sing like an angel. Then, with a snap of fingers, he unleashed a multitude of doll-like merpeople animatronics that looked strangely alive as her accompanying orchestra, playing a haunting, eerie song. 

During the middle of the show, one of Octavinelle’s actors came to the stage, shouting about his “long-lost daughter”, followed by a couple more people. Despite the actor playing as security told him to go back to his seat, the father ignored him and embraced the mermaid doll animatronic - his daughter. 

In his “rant”, he cursed the Octavinelle trio of deliberately hiding his daughter for three years and turned her into this “monstrosity”. He then declared that he will rescue his daughter from this “vile place‘, unaware that the Octavinelle trio had placed knowing smirks and grins on their face. Begging for his “daughter” to recognize him, the mermaid doll slowly gazed upon her “father”...

...and “tore” his neck apart. Fake blood spewing everywhere, his screams reverberated through the dance hall. 

All of the animatronics came alive and started to gruesomely murdered the intruders as well. 

“Well, this escalated quickly.” Ace muttered at the disturbing sight. 

A guest suddenly screamed - the area is suddenly filled with water, causing the guests and student participants to hurriedly run to the prepared exit. 

The students have enchanted some parts of the aquarium walls where merpeople students could appear in and out of the aquarium water on the wall without spilling the water everywhere. So guests and students participants were often surprised by sudden appearances of the tweels, Azul, animatronics, and staff splashing out of the wall from nowhere. There had been many who claimed to have a heart attack from these encounters. 

As they run through the aquarium walls, the guests and students are spooked with various animatronics of mutated sea creatures, merpeople, and even a FREAKING shark animatronic that chases them around persistently. They appear at random times, and their designs would surely put submechanophobia (fear of underwater animatronics) into their very souls. 

As they moved on further, they entered Azul’s office and workshop - where gory remains of the missing people experimented into animatronics were seen. Horrid screams and desperate shrieks rang all the way - some were even trapped halfway into the animatronic itself. 

Azul had two forms for this haunted house dorm: the first is his regular jazz-lounge entertainer animatronic suit with art deco and aquatic elements. The next form is almost the same except his animatronic parts are more revealed, some parts of his clothes tattered and his tentacles are fully shown. Some guests and students secretly yearned to be trapped inside his “tentacles”.

“Fu, fu, fu… come. Let me squeeze you, let me touch your flesh...” “Yes, please.” A guest squeaked, face flushing red.

The tweels have the same elements as Azul did in their costume, except they’re identical and much more muted than Azul did. Their second forms are their merforms, but with faded mechanical parts and some fresh BLOOD on their teeth and torso...

The final stage and centerpiece of their haunted house is what Azul is most proud of. Thrown again into a twisted version of the animatronic warehouse with aquatic background, the now revealed “animatronic” Azul hypnotized the whole audience with his siren-like singing on a small stage, beckoning several guests into the sweet embrace of his tentacles. Fun fact: most students and guests could not resist the temptation and got ‘squished to death’ instead. Yep, no subcontext here at all. 

THE MISSION:

The students and the guests are separated into different groups, with a glass aquarium wall to divide them. 

The guide relayed the charm mission to them: this cruise ship is infamous for having animatronics and automatons to serve and entertain their guests. But many years ago, there was an incident where an animatronic, fed up with being abused by a spoiled heiress on her sweet sixteen birthday, mauled her and nearly drowned her in the aquarium. 

Their mission is quite simple: get the charm inside Azul’s office then get out of cruise ship “ALIVE”. They were told that they have three chances to find it inside the office itself, or else they would be “eliminated” and had to start all over again. 

But first, they must survive his “show” to get to his office. The students were a bit confused at this part until later.

During the show, they soon learn why they were separated from the guests with a glass wall.  

While the guest audience’s part is flooded with a small bit of water, the student's parts were unleashed with a torrential burst of water that they have to run to. Everyone (who is on the student side) by the end of this segment is wet from head to toe. 

“Damn you, Azul! Once I get out of here, I’ll fry your tentacles!” Grimm growled, drying his soppy fur using his fire magic. 

Octavinelle’s challenge is 90% of Patrick Star’s “WEE WOO WEE WOO” moments. 10% of it is just trying to survive.

The animatronics hissed, jumped, and even grabbed them at random times, which puts the NRC students into a looooot of stress since it attacked them more than once!

Oh, yes, and the mechanical shark will burst out of the “wall” when you least expect it. 

“WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THIS HAUNTED HOUSE?! THIS IS VERY UNREASONABLE!” Cried one student before a mechanical shark got him. 

But the ones who purchased Octavinelle’s charm walked in smoothly - the animatronics did not attack them directly, the staff stayed out of their way - all is good and right in the world...

Spoiler alert: Did they say that the charm protects them? Of course, it did… EXCEPT AGAINST AZUL AND THE TWEELS. 

Yup, Ace learned the hard way when Jade came out of nowhere and tried to drag him inside the aquarium water. The screams that Ace had bellowed does not do justice to how fast he runs. 

“YOU SAID THIS CHARM WOULD PROTECT US!”

Epel read the terms and agreement again, “Oh, whoops. It also says here, that the charm doesn’t guarantee to protect you against Azul, Floyd, and Jade. Should have read it thoroughly.”

“I can’t read while I’m getting chased!”

FLOYD DOES MOST OF THE DAMAGES. Physically and emotionally. 

He first started by licking Ace’s face. Who knew that eel’s tongue is long.(“Nooooo! I feel so physically violated!” Ace ran to the corner and sobbed.)

Epel had a heart attack when he felt someone smacked his ass. As does Deuce. Then Jack (his tail got roughly grabbed as well). 

Jack screamed out all the safe words. Deuce and Epel shouted all kinds of colorful swear words they could ever know, even the foreign ones. 

MC’s ass received the same treatment, but they also received an additional playful grope. And then Floyd licked them. MC was screaming and flustered at the same time. 

“Shrimp-chan is cute when startled!” He cooed before he splashed back to the water. 

There were a LOT of complaints after this event this over, particularly threats of suing Azul for inappropriate sexual harassment. But then the staff asked if they all read the terms and agreements. They all went silent and got on with the next haunted house challenge. 

MC’s group tried to murder Floyd by chasing him down underwater, but they realized that getting inside the water would actually disqualify them. They all promised DEATH upon the Octavinelle trio for putting them into this mess and extorting them out of their money. 

Now there was one this brutal and competitive student who wanted to get the charms himself. So he kinda lures MC using the infamous “Wounded Gazelle Gambit” trick. In MC’s defense, the act was kinda convincing for a student.

They were not prepared to be chained up and kicked outside to the water, leaving them to drown after they got frisked by that said student for the charms. “In this world, only the mighty wins!” 

For a while, MC is left trying to hold their breath while desperately trying to free themselves from the heavy chains. Just as their oxygen almost ran out, Jade managed to see MC struggling underwater. He managed to get Houdini MC out of the water, asking if they’re okay and who actually did this to them. While MC struggled to answer, refusing special treatment, MC decided to get back into the game and get the charms back.

Jade also decided to deal with the violent troublemaker as well, and he just knew what to do with the mechanical shark that he controlled. 

To get to the office, the students went to another path, carrying them to a room filled with water and several large pieces of ice. They had to carefully cross through the thin layers of ice amongst the water. There was a mechanical shark circling around, sniffing for its late-night snack. 

Already five students fell victim to it. 

The ice is slippery, MC’s group is struggling to stay afloat and they do not see MC anywhere. 

Epel does spot a student cackling as he carries two familiar charms. 

“What have you done to them?!” Ace growled. 

“Oh, I guess I made them sleep with the fishes.”

Deuce’s inner delinquent is awakened. He roared and attacked that said student, attempting to avenge poor MC. There was pulling, tugging and pinching. 

Just as that competitive student got the upper-hand to Deuce… well, surprise, surprise, guess who’s back, back again. 

“HISASHIBURI-DANNA, BITCH. BET YOU’D THOUGHT YOU’VE SEEN THE LAST OF ME.” MC, wet from head to toe, raised their fist, punching that said student and causing that student to release the charms. Deuce quickly grabbed them both before they lost it again, then gave an additional uppercut to that said student. The competitive student staggered backward...

...and then the mechanical shark jumped out of nowhere from the water and dragged the student into their watery doom (kidding: that jerk student got thrown out of the cruise instead. INTO THE TRASH BIN). 

The remaining students reached the front of the office, but they could not open the door. Turns out, Azul had enchanted the door so that it can only be opened by using one, particular, embarrassing pose. Oh, and they have to cry out the written words as well. 

“The complete flame in our chests shall not be extinguished by anyone! We are… THE PHOENIX!” They all pose like a phoenix. Once it’s done, there isn't any student that collapses out of sheer humiliation. 

The Octavinelle Trio secretly recorded it. Either for blackmail or marketing purposes, take your pick. 

Once they were inside the office, they were given a riddle and three chances to find it: I am violet, I sing in a limited voice and I am trapped. Find the key inside me. 

At first, they thought it was a musical instrument - but there aren’t any musical instruments that colored purple - unless someone dyes it. Also, they cannot find anything remotely similar to a musical instrument. They finally narrowed down to a purple scorebook, a purple-colored radio and… a music box. 

They decided to select a music box... and voila! The charm is found! It’s a good thing they got enough to share on their brain cells, eh? 

The last challenge after getting the charm is to escape from the cruise itself - but they have to go through Azul to do exactly that! Yup, they have to resist Azul’s hypnotic singing, struggling to escape straight to the exit. Because of Jack’s sensitive ears, he had repeatedly tried to walk straight to Azul, only for Epel to knock him out for a good measure and carried Jack around like he was nothing but a potato sack. 

MC nearly succumbed to hypnotism but Grimm managed to snap them out of it by slapping them repeatedly. 

Azul sighed, “And here I was thinking I could get a chance to get close to you than Floyd did.” 

Yep, they definitely did not waste any chances of getting out of here before Azul starts singing again. 

The Octavinelle Dorm staff is considerate enough to give the students wet towels and a warm drink to keep the students from getting cold. Meanwhile, Ace, Epel, and Deuce joined in the protest about the inappropriate misconduct before they unleashed their rage on the nearby prepared dummies after being told that their contract’s terms and conditions had warned them that there will be touching and the staff is not responsible for it. 

Perhaps getting wet is a good thing because the fiery presence of Scarabia’s haunted house might be able to keep the cold away...

I started rambling about my experience with kh and then it turned into khux and then it just turned into me rambling about Ryou and my art journey????? enjoy I guess,

It’s funny to think about my kh journey as a whole tbh, I grew up watching my mom play video games, which included kh1 and 2. I wasn’t allowed to play the playstation2 we owned BUT I did have a gameboy so the first game I played was CoM (after my mom finished it ofc,) so I guess you could say I’ve always been passionate about kh “””side games””” lmao but I did fall off of kh very quickly bc again, I wasn’t allowed to play our PS2 and also I Am A Terrible Gamer I’ve Never Finished CoM I’m sorry you all had to find out like this, but then 358/2 came out when I was in middle school and!!! I didn’t care and I didn’t play idk why lol

Anyway, fast forward to high school I’m like 15 and my older sister, who HAS been keeping up with kh, has a wallpaper on her phone of roxas and ventus. And bc I haven’t kept up I say “nice roxas wallpaper” and she says “thanks but it’s roxas and ventus” and I proceeded to get so mad that I was determined to prove to her that her wallpaper was just roxas twice and then I fell down the BBS rabbit hole and suddenly I was reading about vanitas and then I’m reading the fan translations of the BBS novel and I’m crying??? I am sobbing???? and that’s how I actually got into kh for real lol we are vanitas stans before we are people,

It’s so funny how I thought I was some kh super fan, knowing all this stuff that I spent so long reading and rewatching cutscene movies, but I never once, SOMEHOW NEVER ever came across khx. It’s so absurd and bizarre I seriously have no idea how I never once encountered khx prior to khux. I suppose that has to do with the fact I wasn’t involved in the fandom? In early high school I had stepped away from fandoms as a whole and I didn’t have any interest in really posting content or interacting with fans anymore bc of how burnt out I was from a previous fandom,

but khux released! and I was so hype and excited for it! on launch day I was a senior in high school, I had ran around to every “nerd” and weeb I could find in school to ask them to join my party and fun fact about me is I have crippling social anxiety I literally refuse to start conversations irl so holy shit I was OUT HERE doing the MOST

My player just originally had my name (Matt) but everyone in my party had fun names so Ryou was born! High school was one big yugioh phase for me and ryou bakura is one of my favorite characters ever so it was just the logical name choice lol I quickly started creating Ryou, the character, as well. I was also leaving my homestuck phase and that + vanitas obsession made This character design (art circa 2016)

If y’all are familiar with my kh oc’s you might notice that keyblade now belongs to my kid Monty LOL

Anyway that got scrapped quickly for the chip and dale outfit (which is where Ryou’s trademark goggles are from <3) Goggles have been a staple of my character designs for a LONG TIME so like, it had to be done, (that’s a separate ramble about a separate oc tho)

OG Ryou was an interesting guy; he was a young party leader with this overwhelming responsibility on his shoulders bc of his status as a party leader. In his original story, he also struggled heavily with darkness, much like Terra but for Ryou it was more that the darkness was controlling him and not like a source of power like it was for Terra

A big part of early Ryou I kept, however, was the crushing awareness of loss. One of my party members (the strongest one at the time,) had left without saying a word and I was very confused and hurt. This was around the time the ephemera plot was happening so I decided to incorporate it into Ryou’s story; having him experience losing a friend to darkness since it’s so normal for wielders in Daybreak Town to just disappear, and this would unintentionally become a theme for both me and Ryou as khux friends would just randomly disappear.

I was desperate for khux at this point and I decided to watch the fan translations for khx and GOD, god, was I obsessed. I couldn’t stop thinking about the foretellers. And I’m not going off about that here bc I already did that, but I actually started entering fandom again! I did it slowly, I started on tumblr before this blog was made altho it was me sending anons to the few khux related blogs I could have lol a friend convinced me to get twitter where I got involved with the ffxv fandom, which led me to the kh fandom and eventually the khux fandom there which is what REALLY got me going on khux.

I joined discord servers, most of the servers I’m in are khux related, and from there I joined the khux oc rp (shout out to anyone there who might be reading this lol here’s some art from the beginning of the rp,)

It’s SO FUNNY how the RP influenced me so heavily. I hadn’t RP’d in YEARS, I used to have a strict no oc rp policy, but here I was? And the funny part is, I had barely developed Ryou. I had scrapped his original story and all I had was POST WAR Ryou so I literally had to reverse write him; I had only ever written him as a depressed, guilt ridden adult, but it was a fucking blast and I have such fond memories of this rp when it was active,

But anyway, this encouraged me to get more serious about art! I started drawing, writing, cosplaying, and roleplaying when I hadn’t done any of that stuff in a very long time. The first time I ever drew a background was for a deviant art khux competition actually LOL

also! I always think extremely fondly of the drawing I did of Aced in the keyblade war. It was also one of the first backgrounds I ever drew and it felt like my real starting point in the khux fandom. It got a ton of notes on here and someone wrote a tiny fic in a reblog which just made me SO HAPPY like it really felt like people were noticing me :) I was going to draw a matching Ira but!! I just never did!! One day tho, it’s on my art bucket list to redraw this along with Ira,

Aside from my personal growth, khux was great for my social life ngl, I made SO MANY friends online and got to meet a ton of people irl over the years! It’s crazy to think about all the people I now know and talk to? It honestly makes me really emotional. I’ll never forget taking the train into NYC and meeting up with discord friends. Going to conventions and talking with people about the latest khux update? Absolutely insane and those were some GOOD TIMES, if I thanked every khux friend or even just person who made an impact on me then we’d be here for a LONG TIME,

Fun fact, for my Lauriam cosplay all I needed to buy was the wig I just owned his outfit LOL also? Probably retiring that cosplay ngl people treated me like absolute garbage when I wore him and it led to a lot of confidence issues for awhile ngl. That’s probably one of the only memorable negative experiences I have with khux; it was great when khux people recognized me but for kh fans that weren’t in khux? They were FUCKING MEAN??? fuck kh fandom at large, I only care about khux fandom,

This leads me to another huge part of my experience in khux fandom: THEORIES!! I used to write SO MANY and oh my god my brain was so full all the time. It was a huge appeal for me in the fandom; I had been previously writing theory posts in the RWBY fandom and it just migrated over to khux for me lol I had done a ton of theorizing around Lauriam tbh, it was really the only reason I liked his character at all bc initially I did not care about the dandelions, anyone who wasn’t Skuld I was like “please leave Now thanks”

A funny part of khux fandom I never intended to be apart of is the MEMES, I really only started doing memes as stress relief bc college had me so busy all I had time/energy for was these quick little shit post drawings.

The first meme I made, file name “invi despair” LOL we need to get her a girlfriend smh anyway, I think in my senior year of college I did a bunch of rapid fire memes all in one month bc the stress of finals was getting so bad afdgfhdgf as far as I know my impact on this fandom will be my memes bc all I do now is enter a kh/khux server and introduce myself and I go “yeah I draw art. here’s a meme” and everyone goes OH YOU, honestly I am nothing if not a clown

I’ve talked so much idk where I’m going with this. Khux is just a good game even if the gameplay actually kind of really sucks yknow lol but it was the first game I played where I like, REALLY got into the meta and the mechanics. I used to read so much on the mechanics and watch youtube videos on which medals were worth pulling for. I was never a whale or a top player exactly, but I could rank well if I tried lol I’ve made it to the top 100 for solo rankings, my party has made it to top 10, and in pvp I’ve made top 300. I’m not the highest level in my party but FUCK do I know how to manipulate this game LOL

And with all that hard work, the strategies, the theorizing, the content I’ve made-- it’s been my life for 5 years. I’ve logged into khux almost every single day. At the end, I have logged 1820 days in khux out of 1910 days. Kinda crazy. Crazier I’ve never spent money on khux either lol the only “money” gone into it was one time my mom gave me a google play store gift card and I used it on my birthday for a VIP xemnas medal which eventually made it to regular pulls anyway but it was nice and a little treat :)

I’m not a gacha fan, I don’t care for it, so I don’t think I’ll be touching another gacha again. But for kh? This was pretty fucking awesome, even if it sucked a lot sometimes LOL It was worth it for the people I’ve met most of all I think. I would honestly be a completely different person without khux and that’s REALLY insane to think about.
