Eddie thought Steve wouldn’t want to bottom since he’s only ever been with girls before, so he’d be more comfortable being the one on the top.
And Eddie was totally fine with that.
But then when the moment came, both of them naked and making out on top of Eddie’s bed after a long day without seeing each other, Steve had nervously rushed out the question.
Or more like the plea.
A plea of Eddie fucking Steve.
And Eddie?
He had been so close to start screaming out of pure joy as he dove into to give Steve a deep kiss, making the younger boy melt under him.
”I would love to fuck you, sweetheart. I can’t think of anything better.”
Steve had blushed so prettily under him, big eyes filled with lust as Eddie had kissed his neck, leaving marks there before he moved down Steve’s body to between his long and spread legs.
He had opened Steve slowly with his fingers, made him a trembling and moaning mess as Eddie kept his dark eyes on him. He wouldn’t dare to look away, not when Steve was so beautiful.
When he had his cockhead against Steve’s hole, he leaned down and gave Steve a long and deep kiss, swallowing all of the boy's moans as he finally pushed in.
They held hands as Eddie fucked Steve. Moaned and whined together when Eddie thrusted deep inside Steve, making the younger boy cry out as he felt overwhelmingly full by Eddie’s cock.
”You’re perfect, Steve. So gorgeous.”
Steve had whined for his name and arched his back as he came all over their sweaty bodies.
Eddie had tucked his arms under Steve’s shoulders and held him close to his body as he chased for his own release, whispering praises against Steve’s lips.
When he came too, moaning and kissing Steve, he couldn’t believe how lucky he was.
”Just…. Wow. Eddie, you’re… wow.”
Eddie let out a breathless laugh as he leaned back a little, looking down at Steve and his messed up hair.
”Yeah?”
”Uh-huh.” Steve nodded, smiling up at him, ”I’ve never felt this good.”
Eddie kissed Steve’s cheek and chin, giving soft and teasing nips as Steve giggled under his weight, legs still wrapped around Eddie’s hips.
”So, a success?” Eddie grins, feeling really good and so freaking happy that he gets to have Steve like this.
Steve snorts and pushes Eddie’s hair back so his bangs are out of his face, leaving his forehead visible that Steve wants to kiss. And he does, making Eddie grin even more as his necklace dangles between their bodies.
”Yeah. Definitely a success.”

on ashton—
i genuinely think most of the people actually upset either haven’t played dnd before or haven’t seen the first three years of the show.
because wide swings like this—that MAKES the show. that forms the base of it’s best moments. Bard’s Lament, I Stab Raishan Three Times In The Back, the Deck of Many Things, Caleb and the Dodecahedron, you name it. All those were batshit in the moment and absolute sparks of inspiration.

Pete and the act of crying: Part 1
So, a wonderful discussion yesterday with @wretchedamaranth made me have Pete thoughts (as if I needed an excuse to have Pete thoughts in the first place) and I would like to express them. This time, it's about Pete and how he cries in the show. One incredibly dumb argument against Build's acting by haters was that he wasn't good at crying, that his crying wasn't *believable*. I truly pity these people, because it shows they never understood the intricacies of Pete's character and it's a shame, because Build did such a phenomenal job portraying them. I would like to talk about them. My main point is that Pete cries like a person who hasn't cried in literal years.
Tumblr media
Pete's first instance of crying is seen in episode 13, during his breakdown with Vegas, who lashes out at him and holds a knife to his throat, as seen above. Do you see that face? Do you see the pure pain and agony Pete is feeling? And because a picture isn't doing it justice at ALL, he it is in gif form:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DO YOU SEE THIS? DO YOU SEE THE QUIVERING OF HIS LIPS, HIS EYES SQUINTING, HIS BREATH BARELY BEING THERE? DO YOU SEE HIM FIXING HIS JAW, TRYING TO GULP, TRYING TO KEEP IT TOGETHER?
He's looking at Vegas dead in the eye while he's doing it, too. Like he should have known, he should have known this would happen, but why Vegas, why did you give me hope, why did you do this to me? It's so raw and the scene has barely started, I'll be here all day, okay. And then the scene keeps going, and Pete's face is pain personified and then we get his monologue about not being a person, about being nothing, and his face smooths out. That doesn't mean he's back in control, because it's the calm before the storm, before he grabs the knife out of Vegas hand and places it in his throat again.
Tumblr media
I'm here staring in awe, because he's still not shed a tear, but he sniffs at some point before grabbing the knife as he's talking, as if there's snot to pull back up, as if he's actually managed to express his grief fully. But he can't do that, his body won't allow that, it doesn't know how, it's been too long. It's fucking perfect. Also, I love how the camera shakes as Pete is giving his monologue, thus subconsciously giving the message that Pete's pretty shaken up right now, if everything else wasn't making it obvious. And then he grabs the knife and the pain multiplies and his face breaks again, way more than before, but the CAMERA IS BLURRED, IT'S NOT SHOWN CLEARLY, not until they show Vegas crying actual tears and apologizing, not until showing Pete's bloody palm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the face we see, after Vegas apologizes:
Tumblr media
Now Pete is getting there, the tears are almost spilled, but he's still repressed in his expression of grief and it's glorious because Pete has never experienced these emotions before. Pete has always been passive in his suicidal ideation, he has always let things happen to him that may result in death (a.k.a. his mission for the sake of Porsche) but now he's in such agony that he takes action. And then the scene continues and oh? Are those tears my eyes are seeing?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We got them everybody. After Vegas says, "Don't leave me, I'm begging you," Pete sheds his first tear, and they continue to be shown when Vegas tells him to start over again and Pete is downright offended by the suggestion, as if Vegas means it in a way Pete would want, as if that's even fucking possible for them at all. It's such a spectacular choice editing wise, because I'm pretty confident in my belief that this is from a different take than the other ones before it, due to how suddenly they appear on Pete's face. It fits the scene and the character so well.
Pete is downright sobbing at this point and I'm obsessed with the fact that no more tears are spilled. You can see that throughout the rest of the scene, as well as this moment in which he's breaking down in Vegas' arms after he says he'll remove the handcuff indirectly, while directly asking Pete to promise him he won't leave him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HOW DO PEOPLE SEE THIS AND THINK BUILD DOESN'T CRY WELL? LOOK AT HIM!!! LOOK AT HOW DEVASTATED HE IS, LOOK AT HOW CONFLICTED HE FEELS ABOUT WHAT HE'S ABOUT TO DO, LOOK AT THE PAIN!!! He doesn't NEED to sob and cry ugly, snotty tears for it to work because that's not who Pete IS. He's not Vegas, he doesn't even allow himself to grieve what he's losing here properly. Have you ever had an instance in which you feel like crying, and you want to cry, but you're so numb that the tears just aren't coming? You're trying to push it out, you're trying super hard to get to the point when you'll be able to break down and seek relief from this crashing feeling in your chest, but your eyes are as dry as the Sahara desert? Well, I feel that this is happening to Pete here, except he doesn't even know it's happening to him. I'm fucking obsessed with this scene, it's my second favorite VP moment after the pill kiss, and one of the main reasons is the one that made me make this post. It's so tragic and beautifully relatable and I love it so, so much. I wanted to analyze all of Pete's crying scenes, but it'll make the post larger than a fucking book at this point, so I'll touch upon the other ones in a different one.

With the release of Loki season 2, or at least the start of it, comes a whole new wave of shipping discourse. Many believe that Loki and Mobius is the superior ship - and as a member of the queer community and someone who loves queer representation, I agree. However, I believe that, narratively speaking, Loki and Sylvie is the better ship. I first watched Loki as someone who had very little knowledge of the queer community or queer relationships, and as such didn’t see Loki and Mobius that way. Since the first episode of the new season has come out, I decided to rewatch the first season. And, since doing so, I think that from a narrative perspective, Loki and Sylvie would make much more sense for Loki’s character.
Much of the first episode is Mobius trying to learn why Loki acts the way he does - a narcissistic, murderous, self-righteous, entitled god-prince. Eventually, Loki admits that it was an act - people expected him to act a certain way, and so he did. Up until the first Thor movie, Loki had been a narcissistic and entitled prince. The murderous part only came after learning that he was a frost giant, which I’ll get to in a minute. He even admits he’s a narcissistic is episode 4. As such, Loki has always been a little bit of a narcissist, and so he would fall in love with himself.
On the other hand, he also hates himself after learning that he is a frost giant. Throughout the rest of his story and redemption in the main timeline, he slowly un-learns this self-hatred and accepts the part of himself that is a species he was raised to hate, but this Loki is from the first Avengers movie, when he is still a ball of angst and self-hatred. As such, this version of Loki somehow manages to be a narcissist while hating himself, which shouldn’t be possible, and yet Loki somehow manages it. Since the version of Loki that appears in the shows hates himself a bit, having him fall in love with another version of himself is an excellent way to display self-love.
With the Loki that we follow through the show being a steaming ball of narcissism and self-loathing, it makes perfect sense, both for the narrative and his character to fall in love with another version of himself. His narcissism means that he will struggle to love someone as much as he loves himself, except for a variant of him. Simultaneously, he hates himself and his blood as a result of his frost giant heritage, which he slowly comes to terms with over the course of the main timeline, but there isn’t time for that in this show. And what better way to show Loki overcoming his self-hate in a short period of time than by having him fall for another version of him?
As such, from both a character-driven and narrative-driven perspective, Loki and Sylvie make much more sense - as both a continuation of one of Loki’s core traits and his character arc of overcoming his self-hatred.

for your consideration:
what if davey and katherine were friends before livesies events? like i feel like they would get along well, maybe they went to school together when they were younger, sort of grew apart, and then became friends again via the stike?
and what if when jack and kath got together it made davey really jealous bc like ‘thats my friend and thats my crush’ blah blah blah
and when they break up he’s secretly v happy even before he and jack get together?
like he’s still friends w/ her and all but it makes him even more bitter
CONSIDERING AND APPRECIATING
okay, so, we know me, I have no chill which means I’m going to amend/expand your statement just a tad for historical accuracy purposes (shocking, I know).
instead of going to school together, I think esther jacobs, who is canonically a seamstress, could have been the pulitzers’ personal tailor for a time. it would have been pretty early in their childhood, probably, and while she was working, a tiny katherine would sneak off to play with a young sarah jacobs and her little brother, david, who weren’t technically supposed to be there, but the kitchen staff adored them, so they could be found quietly reading and munching on old bread. they were friends in the way that most children are friends; not in a way that encourages lasting relationships, but momentary fun and laughter that will fade as the years pass.
when esther jacobs was let go after two, three years, david and sarah jacobs never came back to the pulitzers, and never heard from the little girl with the swinging brown curls, tied up with a pretty bow.
but then david became davey, and davey was best friends with jack, and suddenly- poof! enter katherine plumber pulitzer, stage left.
davey is, of course, thrilled to see her. fortunately, so is jack. he starts talking to katherine, becoming friends, and davey’s nothing but pleased. but talking turned flirting with katherine, making her smile, making her laugh, and davey can’t seem to make himself pleased about it anymore. his friend is back, and his heart is waltzing out the door at the same tempo.
they begin dating, and davey’s trying, he is, he swears he is, but he hates it. he hates jack, he hates katherine, he hates himself for feeling this way. there is something wrong with him, he knows it, but he doesn’t know how to fix it. he wishes she had never come back, he wishes he still had his best friend, he wishes that everything would just. stop.
they break up, and davey’s heart leaps
he hates himself for that, too.
everything goes back to normal, but not really, and it’s better. jack’s eyes go from angry to happy again, and katherine seems to be perfectly content with sarah. davey feels like he exhales for the first time in decades.
they kiss. he and jack. it’s everything.
and davey’s little world comes full circle, in a way. katherine. sarah. jack. he’s happy, so happy.
and yet…a tiny voice in the back of his mind hums insistently, reminding him that he was second, second to katherine.
the circle closes, keeps spinning, and david jacobs is along for the ride. his heart is full, there is a grin on his face, and the voice in his mind whispers again and again. still. it’s enough.
he wishes it is.

Me eyezooming crumbs of Tanizaki content as if I could divine the secrets of his backstory from the limited pieces of information we have on him...
I've heard the theory that something happened to Naomi in school (popular theory being that she died), and that it's partially based in those two official drawings we have where Tanizaki is wearing a school uniform, and in both pictures Naomi is unconscious.
But I raise you another baseless speculation, that this could actually mean the opposite. Sleeping is associated with dreaming and fantasies, (which is also one of the themes Tanizaki-sensei is well known for), which would contribute to my tinfoil hat theory that Tanizaki's entire backstory is a fabrication, where he has fooled both his coworkers and himself into believing that he used to be a student, among other things that we really have no evidence for, except for Tanizaki's own unreliable narration.
A.K.A. the possibility that his past as a student is just a pleasant dream he fooled himself into believing.

Fic snippet #4: VegasPete
"Are you going to shoot me, Pete?" Vegas asks all of a sudden and the whole room freezes.  Is Vegas seriously taunting Pete right now?  Porsche has come to understand the hierarchy of the Theerapanyakul family pretty fucking well, but it still feels wrong in his head to challenge Pete, whose hand remains steady at the question. "Are you going to give me a reason to, Khun Vegas?" he asks, his expression darkening.  "I'm entertaining the thought," Vegas replies, a smile appearing on his face which widens as he utters the words.
I blame @coleslaww for this one, how dare you enable my brainrot.
