I love love. And how it is expressed
"It's too many blessings, to have good luck in addition to the best daughter in the world"
-gilear to fig. Clearly familial love
"I could live forever, and still My endless imagination I would never conceive something as perfect as you"
-forge to storm.
DO YOU SEE IT? FEEL IT, EVEN?

I love mohawk Storm, i will die fir Mohawk Storm, but Black people, both diaspora & African, have proven time and again that alt hair + natural hair = amazing and if the X-Artists won't aknowledge that then we're gonna have beef.
Searching "natural hair mohawk" in duckduckgo gives me so many examples:
You could also easily adapt these to work with the more voluminous hair she often has, or go short if you like. Whatever.
There's also so many African hairstyles that read as alt to a Western audience that would be amazing to see in comic panels.
I mean, GOSH:

This is how Storm's first meeting with T'Challa really happened. She saved him, not the other way around. How dare Marvel retcon this and turn Storm into the damsel in distress. WTH were they thinking?! 🤬

Tchalla and storm
No shade, I love TChalla and Storm. But I just never saw them as a romantic pair.
I do think they work off of each other well, but whenever I see Marvel make them out to be a couple I’m just thinking, “it’s because they are both from Africa, so they HAVE to be in a relationship.” And my thing is they certainly can be, but make it more organic. Also that whole thing with Civil War bothers me to this day. Like that was just needlessly messy, and complicated and they’re both way too smart to be letting other people’s beef tear them apart
Whenever they do have kids though, they usually come out really cool. Plus they’re both hot so-

Storm and Jean
Amidst all the stuff I was doing, I revisited my X-Men setting and I always love revisiting that. The first two true Omega-Level Mutants known and quantified.
Ororo Munroe’s control over weather is greater than most suspect, and when she truly uses the full extent of her abilities she can *change coastlines* permanently within’ hours. She does not do this often. And she does not do it lightly. I also have my own take on her appearance, as I always do, but my personal idea for her eyes is that her eyes are blue- when the sky is clear. And they are grey when it rains. And flaming red or soft violet at dawn or dusk. Black, speckled with stars, in the middle of the night. And when lightening flashes, so do her eyes. She *is* the sky and the weather.
Jean Grey should be a powerful psychic. That should be it. She should be capable of incredible feats beyond human capacity, yes, but that should have been all- were it not for the paracausal nature of the Phoenix. Death, Life, Birth, Jean is the source and the victim of the Phoenix, as it tears through reality again and again in a loop through time, space, and Jean’s mind. If she is lucky, she will learn to reign this energy in, control it, channel it, become it’s master. If she falters, it will burn her out and use what’s left for it’s own devices.
wait jean where are your pants

"...STORM, THE MISTRESS OF THE ELEMENTS..."
PIC INFO: Resolution at 1491x1986 -- Spotlight on a Swimsuit pin-up of Storm & her main squeeze, Forge, artwork by Jan Duursema & Greg Wright. January, 1994. Marvel Comics.
"The Native-American mutant known as Forge has no power over the weather, but his garb reflects just a hint of the power Storm, the mistress of the elements, holds over him. Storm's own feelings are as plain as day."
-- UATU THE WATCHER, "Marvel Swimsuit Special" Vol. 1 #3
