carmy confessing to reader ❤️

YESSSS okay there are so many ways this could go. In my professional opinion I think Carmy would be SO nervous, even if he thinks you like him back. Because that’s just the sort of person he is. He’d probably just accidentally let it slip one day.

“You don’t have to be so damn cute about everything,” he says, mostly to himself, but when the words slip out and he sees your expression, he knows he can’t take it back.

“What?” You say, because that’s all you can think to say to that. Carmy’s standing there, the tips of his ears slowly turning pink.

“Uh.” His eyes close, eyebrows pinching as he processes what just happened. “So, uh…I didn’t think I said that out loud. But, ah…” He runs a hand through his hair. “I…I guess I just did.”

“Carmy, I…” You hold back a laugh. That would be too mean, but you can’t help your smile. “What is this? What’re you saying?”

He’s silent for a while. His mouth opens so many times as if he’s going to speak, but then it closes. He turns and steps in place, stress knitted into every expression and movement. You can’t help but feel a little bad for him.

“Okay, I—look. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go,” he starts, almost muttering to himself, “but here’s the thing. I, uh…I like you. A lot.” He laughs breathily, an exasperated thing. “And I didn’t mean to let it slip—“

“Carmy,” you try, but for once he can’t stop talking.

“And I, I know you don’t give a shit about me like that. It’s fine,” he says quickly, like he’s trying to slap a bandaid over a wound. “You’re too good for me. You are. So just forget I ever said anything, okay? We can go back to just being friends, just being, normal—“

“Carmen!” You say sharply, because he’s not stopping, and he stops. “Slow down. So let me get this straight—you like me. And not just like a friend.”

“…Yeah,” he says after a beat. His cheeks are flushed. “Yeah, I really do.”

“Okay,” you say. “So what’s the problem?”

“Huh?”

“Because I don’t see a problem here.” You’re standing closer to him now. You can smell his musk, cigarettes, and his faded cologne. “Do you?”

“Uh…” His eyes flutter shut as you lean in closer to him. “No, I suppose I don’t,” he says lowly, and he presses his smiling lips against yours.

I have to put this honestly, but I love stupid and dorky guys (Freeze) especially after the whole Battle and Chase Arc in Megamix. I just couldn't help but think: These Bitches Are Gay Good For Them!!!

I thank my partner who took the time to scan and send me the entire fucking megamix and gigamix chapters so I wouldn’t have known about this prior because of them

I could go into the absolute layers of insanity of how I think of them past beyond their portrayal of them outside of Megamix as well.

But Megamix really is the base of my own hell especially, my guy was hidden as a Black 4 Roader with the number 5 on him. (who is a number 5 as well? coincidence? i think not!!!)

But right after that, my guy literally out here behind Ice the entire time post Battle and Chase Arc. Also Ice wondering if Freeze was alright when he didn’t get any emails from him??? AUGH * shreds paper *

I love that its a fact that Freeze does respect Ice as his senior and that both their own personalities do align according to their CD datas, etc; show-off (ice) and gaudy (freeze). So I do think they get along well very much in the state of personality and maybe be a bit competitive at times. so uhhh maybe they can be gay or smth smiles

in power battles, Ice makes a cameo in the background when you fight freeze

and for when battling ice, his theme is replaced with a remix of freeze’s

also do you have a blank version or link to the blank version of that “characters who are just like my WOL fr” chart it intrigues ms greatly. I love that it’s specific about what exactly the inspiration from the characters is.

As for Aymeric…

Long story short, they never fostered an actual real relationship before just getting in the nitty gritty of intimacy because it is my religious belief that Aymeric is deeply repressed like a Catholic maiden and Utushama kept just leaving for MSQ immediately the day after they’d fool around. Utushama assumed they were on the same page (this wouldn’t work because they have conflicting responsibilities) (this is also kind of an excuse, he’s starting to develop a pattern of starting something, ditching ASAP, and then using MSQ as a noble excuse) but they weren’t really. I love to pretend Lucia is mad at him for this because it made Endwalker kind of funny. Usual spoiler warning for everything ahead!

Short story long, after the Dragonsong War’s end, they kept things entirely professional including their dinner and dealing w the aftermath of it all but were slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) building a tension between them like it was a Victorian period drama. Like, a show of ankle would give Aymeric a heart attack at this point. So they had two days of building up to this that no one in the world could’ve possibly guessed was any kind of build up to anything followed by one night of Halone-dishonoring acts (initiated by Utushama because why not. Why not hit and run the beautiful President of Dragon Catholics City after you saved them all. Especially after increasingly escalating moments of barely repressed interest). And immediately after, without explanation or any warning, Utushama left for MSQ, with the assumption that they were both in agreement that they couldn’t have an actual relationship because one of them loves their country more than anything else in the world and the other is a traveling adventurer. He didn’t say this because it was so obvious to him but Aymeric was obviously left a little confused and feeling slightly abandoned but bigger things at stake, y’know.

And then they meet again when Ala Mhigo is liberated because all the Eorzean Alliance leaders are there and Utushama is feeling very disoriented and bad because Zenos just killed himself in front of him, denying him of any closure to the distress he’s been feeling for all of Stormblood. And they are once again very professional as if they hadn’t explored each other’s bodies that one time. Aymeric invites him to dinner again and when the subject of trying to define their relationship is brought up, Utushama deflects by hitting him point-blank with the “ok, do you want to do that again” and Aymeric is flustered enough by this that despite being a very savvy politician, the Catholic maiden part of him overrides the many slightly orange flags. Once again, Utushama slips away without warning immediately after.

They don’t speak again until right after the Ghimlyt Dark, wherein canon provided me a lovely moment of quiet between the two of them. Utushama, being injured, is then unable to escape from this conversation that Aymeric begins, wherein Aymeric himself first confesses to hoping to be something more serious, to which Utushama answers in a manner that is between bafflement and regret that they weren’t ever going to be a thing (because again, he thought they were on the same page about this). Aymeric is sad but can see the logic in this and admits that Utushama deserves someone who cares more about him than their political responsibilities, who could and would follow him to the ends of the earth. (There is no reason for him to be so self-deprecating on the matter because it’s not as if he were the one at fault for this, but Utushama just has a way of making people feel bad for wanting reasonable things from him. It’s kind of cruel of him but he also is entirely unaware that he’s doing this.) This is a fun bit of foreshadowing for me personally because this could mean anyone but should the monkey’s paw curl, that sure does describe a certain horrible prince he despises. But after accidentally doing all that to Aymeric, maybe he does deserve to be tormented. Just a little. I’ve been following a sort of narrative path wherein anyone who likes Utushama for being a hero figure can’t actually get with him for good because they’re enabling his bad habits and it’s going to end badly.

Anyway, all this made the Endwalker casting quests very fun because they just kind of josh around lightly and even reference their old fling without it being a whole thing and it feels like the weight of whatever they were doing is off Aymeric now so he’s able to be confident and normal again. If they ever fool around again post-Endwalker, it’s noticeably different because Aymeric has moved past the whole blushing maiden for the hero role. Utushama is admittedly kind of. Strangely sad to see him move past him but by then knows that it was probably for the best. It’s just hard for him to even metaphorically feel like he’s the one being left behind. And Lucia is no longer mad at him but it’s really funny to let him keep thinking she is!

So yeah, his relationship with Aymeric is kind of tangled and convoluted and despite indulging once or twice, he doesn’t actually seem to like talking about it beyond whatever’s professional because he’s just very private. I’ve no idea what the general consensus is on Aymeric and Estinien’s relationship but I imagine it was much more straightforward than this. Utushama inadvertently projects and assumes it was just as complicated based on the way Estinien talks about Aymeric in MSQ tidbits but I think it’s funnier if it was actually relatively tame and Estinien is just being dramatic.

Dante is a singer, usually his songs focus on upbeat fun things, or complaining about the music industry.. but sometimes he writes cute little love songs, and each one is typically about Travis.

Similarly, if Travis is relapsing back into his severe anxiety from high school, Dante knows exactly how to calm him down. Usually that involves quiet singing or humming, while holding hands.

Dante also has really bad anxiety, it's less consuming than what Travis experiences but obviously its still bad. Of course, Travis is right there for him as well. Grounding and calming techniques that involve Travis wrapping his wings around Dante, or letting him fidget with the fluffy little demon tail.

Werewolf Dante and Demon Travis, they hold tails instead of hands. Which is partly because Travis needs to fidget with his hands, and partly because Dante would just knock everything over if his tail was let loose....

Now, stuff specifically for s3 -

Travis cannot cook anything more than simple meals, but he has absolutely mastered the art of making pizza rolls taste amazing. Dante can only properly bake, not cook. But somehow when they come together and do it together? They create complex and amazing things, but they can never replicate the recipe again. It's a blessing and a curse.

They do have separate rooms, but they do not sleep separately. The different rooms are simply so they don't overwhelm one room with way too many posters on the walls or dirty clothes on the floor. And so they can rotate between different beds depending on if they're sleeping during the night or going to bed in the middle of the day - because Travis has a room that has way too many windows, and Dante has a room in the back of the house with like one window. Yes, they also did this with the basement in season one.

Hey there!! Thank you for the kind welcome, I have to admit I'm quite new around here so I appreciate it!

Oh yeah! Um, well, there are many great places and things and stuff to visit around Hoenn, I don't even know where should I start! There isn't really anything I wouldn't recommend, hehe

I guess I should start with giving a visit to Verdanturf Town, it's a really small town but it's very peaceful and the air is the greatest around there! Please say hi to Wally there for me if you go!

Lavaridge Town is next to it, which has great hotsprings that are fueled by the heat of Mount Chimney! I definitely recommend a try!

One of many things I would dare say is a must to try is diving! There is plenty of water around and a plethora of underwater caves and dents that are accompanied by some delightful water-type pokémon! Also, by diving, you can access Sootopolis City (and I think Evergrande City too, although I remember having to have Waterfall so you can go up, well... the waterfalls.)

These are just a few things that come to mind, but, yeah! Also, if you visit Dewford Town, tell Brawly I miss surfing with him! And tell Mr. Briney that I miss him, too! Aw, I guess I just miss everyone from Hoenn..

Anyways, I hope you and your friends will have a jolly great time around Hoenn! I wish I could join, too! Maybe one day I could give a tour or something, hehe!>u<
