Jensen Ackles | JIBCon, Solo Panel, (Rome, Italy, August 28 2022)
Tumblr media
(x)
Jensen panel. Will he do any more theatre? No, that was a huge mistake. A musical? “A musical??? ” (x)
Would Jensen do more theater work? “Nope, Few Good Men was a mistake, that was 120 pages long and I was on like 100!” And musical? “Um, maybe” You sing so well, and act! “Yeah, I can do both…”  (x)
He likes challenges, so maybe… but he doesn't plan that far in the future  (x)
Jensen recently saw Music Man with Hugh Jackman. Was blown away. It was a lot of fun. Made him think if he wants to do that. Answer? “Nah. I’d have to do jazz hands.” But we’ll see. He doesn’t know what he’ll do in 6 months.  (x)
He loves directing because it makes him think in a different perspective and it’s challenging. So maybe to the musical. The only musical he’s ever done is West Side Story.  (x)
One thing Jensen doesn’t miss is being trapped in the Impala with Jared after Jared had a burrito. Yellow Fever is an ep that comes to mind because it was funny through and through. But funniest scene is “the whole show”. (x)
Jensen panel: Every scene over the past 15 years was the funniest scene #jib12  (x)
Tumblr media
(x)
They were able to do risky storylines and go meta thanks to the fans. Because we stuck with them.  (x)
Q about iconic lines. Does he realize they’re iconic when he reads the script or when he films them? Both. Sometimes it will come up filming. SB was more on the page but one day Kripke was in set & he & Kripke brainstormed lines on the spot. #jib12  (x)
There’s a freedom to be creative. Healthy work environment, The Boys is not a toxic set “of which there are a lot of”. Sometimes he doesn’t realize a line will be iconic, other times one will not hit.  (x)
Jensen thinks the writers just wrote SB that way and hoped he can deliver. Doesn’t think Kripke demanded it. Kripke came up with “can’t go in dry” on the spot. Jensen mentions Paul Reiser had a lot of iconic lines too.  (x)
The audition scene for SB was the scene with The Legend, Paul Reiser. So many good lines. (x)
The legend dialogue was the audition scene for Jensen.  (x)
How was it being Dean again? “Like slipping into an old pair of sneakers. Just leaning against that car again…” There will not be a lot of visible Dean in it though. They reshot some of the Pilot. John Schowalter (sp?) stepped in 4 Sigriccia. He’s excited for us to see it.  (x)
Favorite beer in Family Business? He doesn't know, because there's a rotation of beer types and he hasn't been home for 2 months... but he likes Grackle  (x)
Fave beer on tab? Since he hasn’t been home in 2 months, he doesn’t know what’s on tab right now, but the Grackle is always on and it’s his go to. “But don’t drink too much of it, it’ll get ya.”  (x)
Tumblr media
(x)
‘Is it time for apple juice? Someone let me know when it’s 12’ (x)
Does he want to be the lead on another long running show? Yes, he has no problem with it. A few projects in early development with him as lead, particularly a movie he’s excited about. But he doesn’t talk about things until they’re a sure thing, so no teasers. (x)  He just likes good stories, to entertain. That’s his thing. (x)
JENSEN TALKED ABOUT THERE BEING PROJECTS. AT LEAST ONE MOVIE. AND THE LEAD ON A TV SHOW. NOTHING FOR SURE YET. BUT THEY'RE SITTING DOWN AT TABLES. HE JUST DROPPED THAT BOMB? (x)
‘I would take a lead again, if the story was right’ (x)
Jensen wants “apple juice” and two of the three bottles are actual apple juice. “You tricked me. What is going on here.”  (x)
‘It’s actually apple juice - you tricked me!’ (x)
Tumblr media
At his first con in the UK, a multi fandom con, he thought he was just a face in the crowd and Jensen and Wayne were overwhelmed with the reception. First time Jensen thought “we might get another season”  (x)
How is Jensen practicing his voice drop? He never had any proper training, never did any work, it just naturally went down. It’s JDMs fault. “He’s so cool. I wanna be him when I grow up. I’m still waiting for that.”  (x)
Jensen says that in the first season of SPN admired Jeffrey Dean Morgan so much that he wanted to be like him when he grows up. (x)
He doesn't think his singing voice has changed that much over the years, his speaking voice has changed more. And he never took singing lessons or anything like that!  (x)

Wally anon: Solidarity fr. 🫡 Yup lolll (like the people who want Stu back alive). And you knowww he could get pretty...forceful, if you feel me. 👀 The thing that kills me is that she was. supposed to + be the primary target in the would-be 5 until ~those~ producers got in the way even though that would've made 5 one of THE best installments cause you just DON'T get plots like that often. 😫 Ah, do continue @ don't like Hughie (but huh, okay @ too physical). Yuppp, you get it. If all 3 killers are not BRINGING IT, one needed. to be cut & he was that very one (they reallyyy dropped the ball on not seeing the potential in ~bisexual Chad~ & that's all I have to say on that!) Melissa r e a l l y sells crazy so well that it pains me Sam has not had a truly. Formidable killer to go up against yet. Cause she's out here stabbing THE fuck out of people & they're all in the ~try hard to be Billy & Stu Olympics~ djdsk. 🔪 🔪 🔪 (yeah, I know, it wouldn't fix everything, it would just be a start lolll) I feel like that describes a lot of your affinity for slashers (railing you), the danger 🫣 That's the thing, the Halloweens were all indie until 6 with Dimension so they had not excuse in 4/5 to not just do what 1/2's mask did dhdjdla. Yupppp. Literally Sam Mindy Anika Tara AND Chad's big tall ass. Had two. killers attacked in that second, okay, yes, I'd understand hustling outta there. But we know for a fact it was Ethan in that scene & we knowww they could've overpowered that twink, like come on now. 💀 (oop, yup, we fully twinned with our thought process there lollllll)
Hope you enjoy 🤭 Up against a wall fucking is veryyy underappreciated. I know it's impractical unless you have the strength to pull it off, but it just has that something to it 🫠
And you knowwww he'd be talking dirty as hell to you from your reaction to him spitting. 🫣 Yupppp, he'd be stroking you fast cause he. has to be the one to make you cum.
Oh do not get me s t a r t e d on Wanda. She was another one of my favs & even if I liked seeing her go wild in MOM, that movie did e v e r y body involved dirty, especially coming on the heels of Wandavision. It's soooo wild to me how nothing Bruce + Clint are now when (issues with Whedon notwithstanding), the very 1st Avengers movie ate sooo much at nailing. each & every character. And we'll have to keep holding out hope that will persist for Bucky cause whewww at some of the shit the MCU has been getting up to lately...😬 Oh you are speaking my language cause I fr can not s t a n d Tony + the bias the movies had in favor of him akdhdhd. Nothing against RDJ cause literal perfect casting, but Steve was quite literally always. the one speaking facts & had to deal with Tony constantly going on his little passive aggressive billionaire power trips thinking he knew better. Oh, I'll bet. 👅 Maybe I will @ look it up 👀, but yeah, that doesn't surprise me cause I've seen a lot of favorable responses to him. I just never got around to watching the series. 🙈 I feel that's a pretty apt description of her. 👍
Which seems like an exhausting existence to lead.
(I'm sure any & all dishes could benefit from his extra special ingredient 🥴) Yuppp. I had read the script before watching the movie so I knew what was coming but the. scene was still sooo hard to watch but that's why you have contingency plans 🙌 As sweet as his cu-🤫
It's crazy and I'm so happy they didn't entertain Stu returning. Oh I feel you... I love when they get forceful and controlling>> Dom!Roman is happily making me see the vision clearly (and not walk straight.) And yesss I hate that they meddled with it so much and stopped it from ever happening. It's a rare thing to have the villain win and then be the victim in the next movie, pretty inventive. Idk, now that I think about it... Hughie issss🫣 honestly all of the boys on The Boys are (Jensen bias again sksidhds). EXACTLY AND CHAD AND MINDY COULD'VE been gay/bi twinsssss omg. I feel like each killer has contributed to her growth, but its a shame we won't see the killer for her to face in 7... I'm happy Melissa left (and Jenna too, and the director) but that means we'll never get closure unfortunately. Exactly!!! They should have been able to capture the magic (and hot take, the 4 mask is so bad I almost love it. something weirdly nice about it. h20 was the worst for me, I think being able to see the eyes was the worst part of an otherwise decent mask tbh. Also before I go any further John >>> Allison just saying.) And so true. Chad is plowing that twink ass straight out of the apartment. But also... knowing he was responsible for the ladder scene is so silly. Like he did that?? No wonder the twink was struggling to get Anika off... it was fruit on fruit crimes.
Spiderman is perfect for that>>> not to bring him up but ive always said he could make fucking on the ceiling work (you against the ceiling but also I see the appeal of being held by him while he's using sticky skin to stick to the ceiling) Okay, Spiderman tangent over and back to Wally. It's just those ghost possibilities making it plausible. (Bonus if it's against the lockers so y'all are making more noise)
Ugh dirty talk + spitting... say less😮‍💨 Love how he has to be the one making you feel good, no one else can (even if another guy is fucking you with him)
Literally! I don't care that her kills in it are weightless and cameo bait. IT WAS COOL!! I must be a sheep because I thought it was the best part of the movie. I don't really care that she's being driven by the dark hold either, I just wish we got some additional Wandavision/MOM scenes that showed her reasoning for wanting to wield the dark hold. Im praying the thunderbolts movie will be good, but with the reshoots and rewrites and delays... it had me worried. I know they're doing it to "better" the movie but that has yet to be seen. RDJ made Tony kinda fine but I could not stand his character. I hate how Whedon painted him as "in the right" in the first Avengers. Honestly, my issues started with Iron Man 2 and every movie he was in until he died. Iron Man 1 is literally perfect, but it wasn't made with a sequel in mind, so they back tracked on his character in 2 and 3, then just lost focus entirely by the end. What happened to the guy learning how to use his resources for good? It's the worst in Civil War, when Tony openly disrespects Cap and Buck because he was too emotional (that movie also set up Mysterio for later and... yikes). I get that his parents died but it was years ago, and he knew that Bucky was being mind controlled during those events. He had zero free will and Tony knew that, and this movie also spawns the Sokovia Accords, which he doesn't make an effort to understand. He constantly flip flops about being more than who people think he is, but then uses the fact that "he's just a guy" to skate by unphased from the Accords. The Accords would have affected people with superpowers imbued into them, where their body and powers are one. Tony doesn't have to worry about that because his suits aren't him, no matter how much Infinity War tries to change that because of his "paranoia". And then there's his impact on Peter. Not only did he recruit a 14 year old to fight for government restrictions that would affect Peter, he also had him fighting in situations against people much more powerful than him. Then, when Peter was part of the blip, he replaced him with his daughter?? Like huh?? Im gonna cut it short there because I could go on forever about it. (If you can't tell, I'm veryyy passionate about Peter and his movies almost as much as Cap and Bucky. Plus, it's more reasons to hate Tony sjskdksj)
Totally, omg that reminds me of when I read a fic with a barista!Sam Winchester and he just... jacked off in the reader's coffee without even knowing them skdjdsj ... I should go reread that. Exactly! She outsmarted them all because she's that girl. it's as sweet as him!

I'm not a writer but here's my best try at a 'comfort fic.' hope you like it.
Jensen x Becca
"Fuck! Not again!" Becca grunted, throwing her computer on the floor of her bedroom. The fragile bundle of plastic, metal and glass landing with a less than satisfying thud. Becca had half a mind to take it outside to the garage and beat the damn thing with a hammer until nothing remained.
She begrudgingly dragged herself from her bed, stepping over the object, fighting the urge to stomp on it, as she made her way out of her bedroom.
"Oh, hey." Becca said opening her door to her roommate, Jensen, with his hand in midair about to knock.
"Hey, uh, you okay? What was that thud? You stub your toe or somethin'?" He inquired with a cheeky grin, that is until he seen the unimpressed expression on her face. His tone then became much softer, softer than she was used to. "What's wrong, sweetheart?"
Becca closed her eyes with a sigh, before releasing the flood gates, and airing her frustration to the emerald eyes staring back at her.
"Nothing, it's just my laptop, it's been messing up for a while now, and it just quit on me. Like completely dead. And now I have no way to do any of my work, or write my stories. Which means I'm gonna be even more broke this week because I'm gonna miss all my deadlines. Which also means I can't afford another computer which will put me even more behind and I'm never gonna catch up, and I'm just so, so very so tired. And-"
"Hey, hey, calm down for a second and take a deep breath." Jensen said, gently cupping her cheek, running his thumb across her cheekbone.
Becca complied.
"Okay, and another."
He paused while she took another deep breath.
"Good. Now come here." Jensen smiled as he pulled Becca into his chest. One hand came up to cradle the back of her head, as the other wrapped around her lower back pulling her body flush to his own.
For a long moment he said nothing, gently rocking her while they stood there in the doorway of her bedroom. It wasn't long before Becca burst into tears, crying into his neck as he held her close.
See it wasn't just the stupid laptop eating away at her, actually it was everything. Lately it just seemed like the world was closing in on her. Becca's anxiety had been through the roof for weeks now, and she just couldn't take it anymore.
Not to mention the fact that she was in love with her best friend, who was in love with someone else. Standing there in his arms crying her eyes out, she allowed herself to imagine that he loved her the way she loved him.
She was almost able to believe it, but she knew better.
"Okay listen, here's what we're gonna do-" he started, leaning away from her so he could look into her eyes, wiping away her tears. "I'm gonna go run you a bath with some of that bubbly shit you like, and you're gonna go in there and relax for a while."
"Jensen you don't have to do that, I can run my own bath." Becca sighed with a roll of her eyes.
"I know you can, that's not the point. Now go find some clothes to put on, and I'll go get it ready. Ok?" He confirmed. Becca just nodded, and he grinned before kissing her head and walking off towards the bathroom.
'Stupid, sweet boy.' she thought to herself, opening her dresser to gather her things.
Ten minutes passed before Jensen called her into the bathroom, and when Becca entered she couldn't believe her eyes.
He had done more than just prepare a bath for her. No, he had set the scene entirely.
He had lit candles, and sprinkled rose petals along the floor and over the bubbles in the bathtub. There was a bottle of wine and a wine glass sitting on the counter, and her favorite song was playing from the bluetooth speaker.
"Jensen.. wow." She breathed, already feeling like she may cry again.
"Ah, it's nothing." He dismissed, rubbing the back of his neck and nibbling on his full bottom lip.
"Nothing.. what? Jensen this is beautiful. No one's ever done anything for me, remotely as sweet as this before." She said, gesturing around the room.
"Well.. I'm glad you like it, darlin', enjoy. I'll let you know when dinners ready." Jensen stepped around her, kissing her temple, before closing the door behind himself.
Now Becca's head was swimming with thoughts of what that means. It's not that it's unusual for Jensen to kiss her head, but he'd never done it twice in one day, let alone in ten minutes.
Becca got undressed, clipped her hair up, and slowly eased her aching body into the scorching hot water, a dreamy sigh escaping her lips.
She inhaled the thick scent of lavander as her eyes drifted shut, relishing in the feeling of her entire body relaxing all at once.
It wasn't long before she was fast asleep, the wine long forgotten on the counter. Before she knew it Jensen was gently knocking on the door with the promise of delicious food right down the hallway.
As Becca entered the kitchen, her mouth once again hit the floor.
Jensen had once again set the scene. He'd dimmed the lights, lit candles, put on some quiet music in the background, and the dinner he'd made for the two of them was spread out on the table.
"Omg, what's all this?" She gasped, eyes as big as saucers.
"Oh nothing really, just trying to help ya relax, ya know? Come sit."
Becca slowly walked to the table, becoming even more confused when he pulled the seat out for her, sliding it under her as she sat down.
"Again, Jensen, this is not nothing." She almost whispered, not even sure if he'd heard her until he sat down across from her.
"Just enjoy this will ya? It's no big deal, I just hate seeing you so stressed out, especially when something as simple as this will make you feel better. Hopefully, anyways."
Becca nodded, looking at the juicy burger and crispy fries in front of her, hearing her stomach rumble at the thought of food.
They both sat in comfortable silence as they ate. Becca constantly wondering what had gotten into him. Why was he being so sweet? It's not unlike him to care, but grand gestures like this? Fucking weird.
Occasionally the pair would make eye contact and they'd both smile a little, but they never spoke.
When dinner was over Jensen took their plates to the sink before coming back over to Becca, taking her hand.
"Come with me." Jensen said pulling her to her feet.
He quietly led them to his bedroom, making her close her eyes before he opened his door. He led her into the center of his room and let go of her hand.
"Okay. Open em'."
Becca opened her eyes to see that Jensen had set up his bed with every pillow in the house, her weighted blanket folded up at the foot of his bed, a basket full of the candy they keep in the kitchen was on his nightstand, and her favorite movie was up on his tv.
This time when Becca seen what Jensen had set up, she'd had enough.
"Whadaya think? Movies and cuddles sound good?" He asked, as he slid his arm around her shoulders, leaning in to ONCE AGAIN kiss her temple.
Becca pulled away, taking a large step backwards.
"Jensen enough, what are you doing? This is so weird. What's going on?" She huffed.
"Becca, I told you already I'm just trying to help you relax."
Becca couldn't even stand to look at him. Here he was doing something that was incredibly meaningful for her, but to him it was no big deal? This is what she'd always wanted, especially from him, but not in the way she'd hoped. This was too big, it was like rubbing it in her face that this man, who's done these amazing things for her, would never truly be hers.
"Jensen. I.. I think I just need to lie down. Thank you for all this, but I just need some sleep." Becca turned and started for the door, trying to get away from him before the tears in her eyes could fall..but Jensen stopped her with a gentle touch on her arm.
"Becca come on, just one movie? Please?"
Becca couldn't look at him, couldn't even speak, and with a gentle tug of her arm, she walked out of his room.
But, to her dismay, Jensen followed.
Becca didn't have the energy to fight him, and as she entered her room, she left the door open behind her. Sure enough, he followed, closing the door behind him.
"Becca please, tell me what's wrong. I can't help you if you won't tell me what's wrong."
Becca still hadnt looked at him.
"Nothing's wrong Jensen, I'm just tired." She replied weakly.
"Bullshit. You're crying. Why?"
She couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Because Jensen! Because you're too fucking perfect. I know you're just trying to make me feel better but it means more than that to me." She yelled, finally facing him. "Because you mean more to me than you should, and I can't handle you doing things like that for me, because I know you're not doing it for the reason I want you to be." She finished quietly.
"Sweetheart-"
"Stop calling me that," she shot back.
"Becca. What are you saying?" Jensen asked quietly.
"You don't love me. And when you do stuff like all this, it makes me feel like you do. And I can't take it."
"Don't love you? What the fuck?" Jensen snapped, anger and confusion flooding his system. "I did all this BECAUSE I love you."
"Not like I love you." Becca whispered, tears falling freely down her face.
"And how exactly is that?" He asked, taking a slow step towards her.
"Shit Jensen, you really gonna make me spell it out for you?? I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU." She cried.
Jensen grinned. Actually GRINNED at her.
"Becca, I'm in love with you too, sweetheart. Always have been. I mean shit, literally since the day we met."
"What?" Becca asked dumbly.
"You heard me."
Becca felt dizzy, and her knees felt weak, just as she started to buckle, Jensen caught her. He scooped her up into his arms bridal style, and took her back to his room.
Jensen gently laid Becca on his bed, covering her up with her weighted blanket before climbing in beside her.
He leaned over her and planted a wet kiss on her forehead, before repeating the action on the top of her nose, before finally connecting their lips for the first time.
They kisses for a long moment before Becca suddenly pulled away.
"Wait. You're in love with me??"
Jensen just laughed.
"Yes baby, come here."
Becca cuddled into Jensens side, laying her head on his chest, knee across his groin, breathing in his delicious cologne.
"Get some sleep babygirl, we'll talk about this in the morning, and see about getting you a new laptop, okay?"
Becca didn't even try to argue with him because she knew it would do absolutely no good.
"Okay," she sighed.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Jensen."
And together they drifted off into blissfull sleep.

Three Months Later
“Y/N, would you calm down. You’re gonna wear a hole in the floor,” said your mom as she moved about the kitchen. You whined and paced back over to the front room, glancing out the window. “Ethan. She’s doing it again.”
“Sweetie,” called your dad, popping up from the family room and walking around the corner to you. “They are the Ackles, not a pack of wolves.”
“I just really want this to go well,” you said. “They should have been here by now. Waco isn’t that far a drive from Dallas. Maybe they got screwed up with their hotel or something.”
“We told ‘em they could stay here. No use in having a guest room if the guests don’t use them,” said your dad. You looked over at him slowly, rolling your eyes. “That was a good one. I give it a 9.5.”
“Dad! My boyfriend’s family is not staying over our house! What were you thinking? What if they hate you! Or mom! I can’t believe you.”
“Direct a multi million dollar movie? She’s fine. Introduce her parents to her boyfriend’s parents? Apparently it’s the end of time as we know it.”
“Dad,” you groaned, your mom slipping away from the kitchen over to you. “Mom, why would you let him do this?”
“Why are you so nervous? We love Jensen and I’m sure we will love his family too,” she said.
“Cause what if you guys don’t like each other?” you said.
“If we don’t, then we don’t. It doesn’t affect you and Jensen though, kiddo. Relax,” he said. He rubbed your shoulders and you sighed. “Now go finish setting the table.”
“I already did that,” you said.
“Don’t worry,” said your mom, giving you a peck on the cheek. “They’ll be here real soon.”
You threw your head back and walked away, your parents laughing to themselves as you wandered out the front door and under the front porch. It was a very different style home than the house in LA. That was a massive mansion with beams and dark wood and looked grand. The Waco vacation house though, that was something more like you wanted for yourself someday. It was nice and updated but it was still just a house. A large one but nothing like in LA.
You remembered picking it out with your dad when you were about five years old. The house didn’t interest you too much but there was a swing on the tree in the backyard that you absolutely fell in love with.
You smiled as you saw a car pull in at the end of the driveway. It wasn’t like you were meeting his parents for the first time. Maybe it was the second time but things would turn out okay. They always did with Jensen.
“Hey,” said Jensen, ducking out of the backseat when the car parked near the garage.
“Howdy partner,” you said, Jensen’s parents and sister getting out as well. “Hi.”
“Nice to see you again, sweetie,” said his mom as you walked over to help with the bags. She gave you a hug and you got a nod from his sister.
“How’s the semester going?” you asked.
“Probably flunked my biology midterm but otherwise awesome,” she said. Jensen rolled his eyes behind her back and she scoffed. “Oh shut up Jenny.”
“Alright, nerd. Most people don’t consider an A- flunking by the way,” he said, handing you over a few bags. “Mac, get your stuff.”
“Are you ever going to relax?” she asked, rolling her eyes as she pulled out a duffel bag. “I cannot believe you date him.”
“He has his moments,” you said. “You may need to end up bunking with my little sister if that’s alright.”
“Ella and Anthony aren’t too much younger than you. I’m sure you three will all get along and find ways to annoy us,” said Jensen.
“Don’t challenge me, Jensen,” she said.
“Behave. You’re a guest,” said his father. He looked at you and nodded before heading towards the front door.
“He likes you,” said Jensen.
“He does not,” you said quietly. “He thinks I’m some stupid actor’s stupid daughter.”
“No, he doesn’t,” said Jensen. “I promise. I was super nervous around your dad at first and now we’re good friends.”
“You were also coworkers. Oh God this was a mistake,” you said.
“Hey, honey. If it is, I promise we can runaway and stay in a hotel room for the weekend, okay?” he said. He kissed your temple and you nodded, helping carry some bags over to the front door where his family was waiting.
“Guys, they’re here,” you called, stepping inside and leading the way for them.
“Hi!” said your mom, coming around the corner from the kitchen quickly. “I’m Dani, Y/N’s mom.”
“You look like her older sister,” mumbled Mackenzie. Jensen elbowed her in the ribs and shot her a dirty look.
“Ah. Yours are like ours I see,” said your mom.
“You should see them when the oldest is with them,” said Jensen’s mom. She gave your mom a hug, Jensen’s dad giving her a friendly smile. “This is Alan. I’m Donna and this is our youngest Mackenzie.”
“Hi,” said your mom, your dad walking in with your siblings in tow. “This is-“
“He’s the guy!” said Mac, whacking Jensen on the arm. “That guy that’s in that movie you were obsessed with when I was little.”
“Aw, I’m flattered Jensen,” teased Ethan.
“I hate you, Mac,” said Jensen, your dad chuckling.
“Well I’m Ethan and these are our other kiddos, Anthony and then Ella,” he said.
“You’re kinda young if you don’t mind me saying. Sport,” said Alan. You cocked your head, your dad smirking.
“I always knew that Jensen looked familiar but could never quite figure it out. Alan Ackles. You scared the crap out of me that day,” he said.
“You gotta tease the rookies. I hear Jensen’s gotten plenty of that,” he said.
“Um, do you two know each other?” you asked.
“Not really but we worked together once, way back on a local commercial in Dallas. It was my very first acting job before I moved to LA. I must have been seventeen years old,” said your dad, shaking Alan’s hand.
“I wasn’t that old, probably the kids age or just a hair older,” he said. “Obviously that acting thing worked out for you.”
“Eh, just a little,” said your dad. “Come in. Y/N, bring the bags up to the guest room.”
“And you thought they wouldn’t like each other,” hummed Jensen as your parents headed off together.
“You did too!” you said. You spun around and Jensen’s sister was staring at him, your siblings doing the same. “Why don’t you guys hang out with Mac while we bring this stuff up? Maybe show her around.”
You left before they could say anything, urging Jensen to follow you.
“I totally was not expecting this,” said Jensen. “It’s so different than your parents house.”
“Truth be told I think we all prefer this one,” you said. “But you know, gotta have the house if you’re Ethan Y/L/N.”
“I can’t believe our dads worked together, even if just for a day once,” he said.
“Maybe this was meant to be,” you said. Jensen grabbed your waist and kissed you, making you giggle and nearly fall backwards.
“I think we both know the answer to that,” he said, grabbing you tight. “Falling for me again?”
“Such a loser,” you said, popping into a bedroom and setting down most of the bags. You walked farther down the hall and set Mackenzie’s down in Ella’s before pulling Jensen to the end and into your own.
“Wow,” he said, dropping his bag by the door as he stepped inside. “I gotta admit, I think you got the best bedroom.”
“First dibs has its perks,” you said. Jensen walked over to the window, staring out at the rolling wheat field far out behind the house and trees.
“Sometimes I really forget how you grew up.”
“Money isn’t everything. Ask my dad and you know he’d give all of this up in a heartbeat to have not have gone through what he did. What I did. What everyone did with the car accident,” you said. You stopped beside him, Jensen lacing your fingers together.
“Y/N. I don’t mean the bedroom or the houses. I know you didn’t get what most of us do but your dad did a good job of trying to give that to you, a normal life,” he said. “Also, you have a Nintendo 64 over there that we are totally taking home with us.”
“We’ll have to see if we can sneak it out,” you said, resting your head against his shoulder. “Your parents don’t know that my mom isn’t my birth mom, do they.”
“If they have a problem with your family, I think they’re just going to have to get over it,” he said. “Why’re you so scared, Y/N? I get being nervous and wanting everyone to get along. I’m exactly that way right now too.”
“Because if there was a problem, I would never want anything to come between you and your family. I would never ask you to pick me over them,” you said.
“Y/N.”
“Because you make me happy,” you said, lifting your head to look at him, cautious green eyes looking back. “I think it would rip me apart for good if I screwed this up.”
“I love my family Y/N. I love your family. But if they ever put me in a position to choose them or you, then they aren’t the people I love. Where’s this really coming from?” he asked.
“My parents got along really well with Logan’s,” you said quietly. “They all clicked instantly. Your dad doesn’t...I don’t think he approves of me but he’s too polite to say it.”
“You are by and far the best girlfriend I’ve introduced to them. Pretty. Smart. Badass. Did I mention pretty?” he said, kissing your cheek. “You met them for three hours once when he had a cold. You are worrying over nothing. I promise.”
“Well those three seem to be thick as thieves,” said your mom as she came outside to the back patio after dinner, carrying a few drinks. You glanced inside to the kitchen, your brother and sister chatting up a storm with Mackenzie at the counter.
“To think she didn’t even want to come,” said Donna. You watched your dad put another log on the fire, your mom handing you a beer. You nodded and took a sip, Jensen rubbing his hand up and down your back. “Everything alright, Y/N? You’ve been quiet tonight.”
“Probably just jet lagged,” said your dad. “Kiddo’s been working on editing like crazy lately now that we’re wrapped.”
“What are you doing in the meantime Jensen?” asked his dad.
“Kind of relaxing. Trying to learn how to cook. I can only make chicken casserole for Y/N so many times,” said Jensen with a smile.
“It’s yummy,” you said, taking another sip.
“The movie comes out in about six months. We can be sure to snag you guys some tickets for the premiere,” said your dad.
“Jensen already invited us but unfortunately that’s exactly when we’re supposed to be on a cruise for a few weeks. He wouldn’t let us skip for it,” said Donna.
“Eh, you guys can come to the next one,” said Jensen. “We’re set to start the second movie not long after the first comes out.”
“I just picked up the prequel book. Oh, I feel so sorry for poor Lyle,” she said. “Do you mind if I ask how you came up with him, Y/N?”
“Overactive imagination,” you said with a smile.
“It was good,” said Alan, your head turning towards him. “The first book. I liked it.”
“Thanks,” you said, Jensen giving you a smirk.
“You know what we need? S’mores,” said your mom. “Jay. Hm?”
“Sure thing, Dani,” said Jensen, standing and heading back inside with her. Donna got up to help and soon it was quiet with just the three of you out there, your dad glancing to you.
“You know Dani isn’t Y/N’s biological mother,” said your dad.
“I didn’t realize you were married before,” said Alan.
“I wasn’t. Y/N wasn’t exactly planned. Her birth mother died in a car accident and they had to deliver early,” said your dad. You stared at him, your dad ignoring it. “I was only eighteen when this happened. I know we’re a little younger than you probably were anticipating.”
“She seemed to turn out just fine,” he said. “Jensen never shuts up about her.”
You gripped your bottle, your dad biting his bottom lip.
“I see where she gets it from,” chuckled Alan. “The both of you are so nervous around me for some reason.”
“I think your son is very important to my daughter,” said your dad.
“I think your daughter is very important to my son. Not sure what the issue is there,” said Alan.
“There’s not an issue,” you said. You stood up and walked away, over to the pool before sticking your feet in the warm water.
You felt a presence behind you and sighed.
“Dad-“
“Not your dad, kid,” said Alan, taking a seat beside you. You watched the water while he rolled up his pants and stuck his feet in, a quiet sound leaving him. “I will admit I was a bit grumpy last month when we met. It had nothing to do with you, Y/N.”
“Why do I feel like you don’t like me then?”
“Maybe because you’re like Jensen in a way, which explains why you fit together so well. Maybe it’s why this seems strange, because part of him is like me too,” he said.
“You didn’t answer the question.”
“Honestly, maybe it’s because my son seems like himself again and we couldn’t do that. Your family did. Maybe I’m a little jealous of that,” he said.
“My family didn’t do anything.”
“You did.”
You shrugged and took a sip of your beer, his dad smiling.
“Jay ever tell you he wants to try making beer sometime?”
“Once. Told me you nearly tore him out a new one when he tried it in your backyard,” you said.
“Yeah, well. Parents aren’t perfect,” he said. “Maybe we don’t have the opportunity to get to know each other like Jensen did with your family but we do want to know you. We don’t disapprove by the way.”
You turned your head and he shrugged.
“Jensen worries.”
“I’ve noticed,” you said. “This is going to sound a certain way so don’t take it that way please. I just-“
“You don’t have to justify the way you feel,” he said. You nodded, wiggling your toes in the water. “He loves you and we will too. Give me some time is all.”
“I can understand why he is the way he is,” you said with a smile.
“A dork?” he teased. “He gets that from his mom.”
“Sure he does,” you said. He bumped your shoulder and you gave him a smile. “The whole single dad, accident baby doesn’t bother you?”
“Don’t ever refer to yourself as an accident. Also, no it doesn’t. Is it unconventional? Yes. But all I care about is that my children are happy. So don’t worry about the other stuff, alright?”
“I’ll try,” you said. It was quiet for a moment, his dad sitting back.
“You know he calls once a week to check in. He spends most of that time talking about you,” he said. “It’s pretty adorable to be honest. Turns into a little boy all over again.”
“He is pretty adorable,” you said.
“Well I know you are incredibly busy at the moment but some quiet weekend, come visit. We’d like it,” he said.
“We will,” you said. There was a rustling behind you and you looked up, Jensen carrying a plate with two s’mores on it.
“You guys want some?” he asked, mouthful of his own.
“Sure,” you said. You took a bite and gave him a thumbs up.
“Everything good?”
“Yeah,” said his dad. “I think we’re all good now.”
“Good morning,” you said, smiling as your parents headed into the kitchen. Your mom raised an eyebrow as your dad took a cup of coffee Jensen handed him. “What?”
“She’s awake. Before us. I don’t think she’s ever willingly done that,” she said. Your dad put a hand on your head and you swatted it away.
“I don’t feel a fever,” he said.
“We wanted to be kind children and make our parents breakfast,” said Jensen over his shoulder as he got out some butter.
“Ah. I see they’ve forgotten we’re going to brunch later,” said your mom. You threw your head back and put the eggs back in the fridge.
“Going back to bed?” asked your dad.
“Yup,” you said, grabbing Jensen’s hand and pulling him upstairs with you. He yawned as you wandered back to your bedroom, smiling when you fell back on the mattress. “More sleep. My favorite.”
“Or we could have morning sex and then go back to bed,” he murmured. “Both your favorites.”
“You want to do it with both our parents in the house? Jensen Ackles. I didn’t realize you were such a bad boy,” you said, rolling over onto your back.
“Only for you,” he teased, locking your bedroom door.
“You have a streak hidden in you. Don’t deny it,” you said.
“Oh, I’m not,” he said, rolling back onto the bed, sliding his hand up your shirt. “I even came prepared.”
“That’s my boy,” you said, stretching your arms up, letting him push the shirt off of you.
“You get rid of those pesky clothes and I’ll be right back.”
He kissed your cheek and hopped up, going to his bag and digging around. You were lazy in taking off your shorts and underwear, tossing your bra on the floor in time for him to come back with nothing but a condom on.
“I would like to try something if you’re up for it,” he said. You sat up with a sleepy smile and nodded. He gave you a lazy kiss before he sat back down, grabbing your waist and pulling you around to the middle of the bed, settling in behind you.
“What are you up to?” you asked.
“Your dresser here has a mirror,” he said, your eyes flickering across to the other side of the room. You saw yourself naked, Jensen snaking a hand down to your folds and slowly rubbing you. “I want you to see how absolutely fucking hot you are when you get fucked.”
“Jay,” you said, turning your head away.
“Please?” he hummed.
“I’m not going to get in the mood by looking at myself.”
“Looking at you naked gets me in the mood all the time,” he said, kissing your neck. You rolled your eyes but looked ahead, watching his free arm cross your waist and press you back against his chest. His arm’s looked larger than normal and you noticed the muscles flexing in his shoulders, the strong thighs that were moving the two of you to sit up. You sat back on your heels, Jensen rutting his cock against your back before pulling you up and settling you over his cock. You lowered yourself down, fluttering your eyes shut.
He snapped his hips back and rocked into you, eyes flashing open and catching his own in the mirror behind you. In the mirror, you started to ride him, Jensen meeting you with every roll of your hips.
“Look at my cock, fuck looks like it barely fits,” said Jensen. Your eyes went down and you watched yourself lift up him, nearly all the way before slamming down.
“Okay. That is pretty hot,” you said, Jensen chuckling as he kissed your jaw. “Fuck. You’re so fucking strong. Shit, Jay.”
“Feels like you’re milking my cock. How are you so tight?” he panted against your skin, warm air hitting your face.
“Because of your big cock,” you whispered, moving your arms behind you to hold onto him, Jensen plowing in harder. You’d never noticed how your own body bowed and arched before, never noticed muscles in your thighs working hard, never noticed the light blush that covered your skin as you got closer to an orgasm. “Harder.”
He tightened his grip and rubbed over your clit, fucking up into you, nailing your g-spot.
You grabbed his ass and he did it again, your head knocking back onto his shoulder. Your whole body tensed as you came, your face soft as you bit your bottom lip, Jensen growling into your neck to hide his grunts as he followed quickly after. With a quiet laugh you let go of him, Jensen pulling you to fall back straight on his chest, rolling you to his side.
“The only thing that could have made that better was seeing your ass too,” you said.
“You can look at my ass anytime you want,” he said, shakily getting to his feet and tossing the condom in the trashcan.
“Uh oh,” you giggled, spotting the red marks covering the small of his back and his creamy cheeks. “I think I might have given you a few new bruises.”
“Please mark me up,” he hummed, sliding back into bed under the covers, laying his arm over your waist. “Makes me feel like yours.”
“God you are too attractive,” you said, kissing his nose, Jensen nuzzling closer. “Love you.”
“Love you too, honey,” he said. You shut your eyes, ready to fall back asleep when your phone buzzed, a text from AJ coming in. “Work again?”
“Premiere date got moved up a week,” you said, tossing the phone back down. “No big deal.”
“I can’t wait to walk down a red carpet with the hottest director, writer, actor there ever was and know that she picked me,” he said.
“I would prefer not to go,” you said. Jensen nipped at your bottom lip and you laughed. “But I’ll go as your date.”
“Score one for Ackles,” he said. You kissed him quickly, Jensen closing his eyes. “Sleep?”
“You read my mind, fan boy.”

The sun had set a long time ago, before they were even off the set. The snow had begun not long after. It was piling up on the sidewalks and the roads. She had no idea the plans that Jensen had for her tonight. The two of them were cordial at work, but Jensen was obviously avoiding being alone with her. The only time he spoke to her away from other people was at lunch today, telling her to be ready by nine. She was rifling through her closet now, trying to find something to wear. It had to be cute but also practical for the Vancouver weather.
Her hair was still wet from the shower she had taken, and she had only slipped on a bra and panties. She was standing in her closet, a robe over her shoulders when Jared knocked on her door.
“Come in.” She called as she tied the robe around her waist.
“Hey, I just wanted to let you know I’m heading out to Carl’s to play some poker.” Jared smiled warmly at her.
“Oh, okay, have a good night.” She didn’t bother letting him know that she was heading out too. All day she had been trying to come up with an excuse as to where she was headed. Her only friends here were on the cast or crew and that could easily get her caught if she told him she was with them. This, on the other hand, was perfect. She could slip out after him and if she got home after him too, she would come up with some lie then.
“Love ya, smalls.”
“Love you too, moose. Now go.” She shooed him out of her room, Jared laughed the whole way to the front door. She finally made a choice for her clothes and laid them out on her bed as she finished her hair and reapplied her makeup. It was nearing eight thirty when she texted Jensen asking him if he wanted her to meet him at his place. His response was cryptic, to say the least, only stating that he would get back to her. So, she simply finished getting ready. She was in the kitchen putting her belongings into her purse when there was a knock on the door.
Tentatively, she went and pulled it open, revealing Jensen standing there. He looked disgustingly adorable. Seriously, she thought to herself, no grown man should be that cute. He had on a thick wool coat, one that looked as though it probably cost him a decent chunk of change. He was wearing gloves and a matching scarf. Honestly, he looked like he stepped out of a hallmark Christmas movie.
“What the hell are you doing here?” It was all she could come up with to say. Well, besides ‘fuck me’, but that seemed a little less appropriate.
“What?” His eyebrows scrunched together, his smile faltering as he looked over her shoulder and into the apartment. “Jared’s not still here is he?” His voice dropped as he said Jared’s name.
“No, he left for some poker game.” She explained. “Wait, how did you know he wasn’t going to be here?” She stepped back and let Jensen into the apartment. He turned back to her, a huge grin on his face.
“I may have hinted to Carl that he should host a game this weekend. And I may have not felt well enough to go tonight.” His tongue rolled against his upper lip as he waited for her response. She eyed him skeptically, mulling over his inventiveness.
“Nice tactic, Ackles.” She finally smiled at him. “Let me grab my coat.” She ran and slipped on the heavy material. She topped it off with a hat and gloves and the two of them were out the door. Jensen kept a small distance between them as he walked her to his waiting Mercedes. He pulled open the passenger door and let her in before running to the other side and hoping in.
“Okay, so are you going to finally tell me where we are going?” She asked him as he pulled onto the road.
“Come on, just enjoy the ride. We will be there soon.” He turned the heat up in the car a little, a smile on his face. His teeth shone in the light from the street lamps as they passed under them.
“Fine, keep your stupid secrets.” She mocked anger, crossing her arms over her chest and focusing her gaze out the windshield. Jensen couldn’t help but laugh at her. He also couldn’t help but think about how cute she looked with her bottom lip sticking out like that. That’s not to say he didn’t think she always looked cute. She did always look cute.
Jensen had kept his promise. It took them less than fifteen minutes to get to their destination. The parking lot was empty as far as she could tell when they pulled in, only heightening her curiosity. She could tell there was a wide open space on the other side of a small shack that sat on the far end. As they got closer, she noticed only one other car in the lot.
Jensen hopped out of the car and came to open her door. “You aren’t going to kill me are you?” She mused as she got out of the car.
“Yeah, you wish.” Jensen took her hand, entwining their fingers and guiding her towards the shack.
“I do. You are too perfect, which means you are destined to have some sort of flaw.” She nudged him.
“I’m sure you’ll find some eventually.” He promised as the lights outside the shack flickered on. The sign above the glass windows simply read Roy’s, with no other indication as to where they were. She noticed a guy standing on the other side of the glass, looking their way.
“Ackles! Good to see you again buddy! This the lucky lady?” He turned his attention to her, causing her to blush.
“Hey Roy, yes this is Y/n. Y/n, this is Roy.” Jensen introduced the two. Roy extended his hand to Y/n, who shook it graciously.
“What size shoe you wear, sweetheart?” Roy asked her. She answered him, slightly confused until he came back with a pair of ice skates. She was beginning to understand now. Roy handed a pair to Jensen too and the two of them sat on the bench to their left to put them on.
“Alright Roy, hit the lights!” Jensen called as he helped her to her feet. The sight before her nearly took her breath away. The rink was a decent size, but not massive. Poles on the perimeter of the rink had fairy lights wrapped around their height and strings of them connecting the tops of every pole. It cast a beautiful warm glow across the ice. As the lights warmed up, soft music began to drift from speakers somewhere in the distance.
“Wow,” The word fell from her without thought as Jensen pulled her onto the ice. She was a little wobbly at first, since it had been years since she had been out on the ice, letting him guide her with both his hands. “I can’t believe you did this.”
“You like it?” He was smiling, but she still noticed the slight panic in his voice. He wanted to make sure she was enjoying herself.
“I love it.” Her nose began to burn as tears welled in the corner of her eyes. “I haven’t been ice skating in years. We… we used to do it every year as a family.” The tears spilled gently down her cheek. At this point, she didn’t care either. She didn’t mind that Jensen would see her crying, because it was Jensen, the only person she realized she didn’t care if they saw her cry. Jensen was smiling softly now, giving her a knowing nod. “Ah, but you already knew that.”
“I did, Jared used to tell me about it every year during filming of the earlier seasons. He misses you guys a lot when we are filming. He loves having you up here, you know that right? I think he is just bad at expressing that.” Jensen continued to pull her in circles around the rink. Her body quickly remembered how to work her way across the ice, and the two settled into a better rhythm.
“You know you aren’t supposed to make a girl cry on the first date right?” She wiped away more tears from her cheek, careful not to smudge her makeup.
“How was I supposed to know you would cry, you never cry?” Jensen spun in front of her, skating backwards as he eyed her.
“Are you kidding me? I cry all the fucking time, it’s just never in front of other people.” She admitted.
“Should I feel honored by that then?” Jensen asked, reaching out for her as she wobbled. She balanced herself against his forearms, allowing him to just pull her along again. When she didn’t answer, he smiled to himself. He knew she wouldn’t admit that she felt safe around him, at least not yet. Though, he couldn’t be sure if she realized it herself yet.
Jensen continued to pull her along the rink, the soft music filling the comfortable silence. Jensen let go of her then, making a show of his skills. He was spinning in circles, and gliding effortlessly around her. He was bordering on figure skating at this point as he skating backwards, putting a good distance between the two as he sped up. The last song faded into a new one, and she recognized the melody easily. She was biting her tongue as she tried not to laugh. Jensen could see her shoulders shaking from where he was.
“What the hell is so funny?” He asked, slowing his movement but not stopping completely.
“Um,” She chuckled. “It’s just, this song always makes me think of Blades of Glory and you were over there trying to be cool and showing off. It was just too much.” She nearly snorted as she fought not to fully laugh in his face.
“That is a classic.” Jensen mused, coming back to her, taking her hand and pulling her into him. He spun her around, one hand is his own, the other on the small of her back. “I don’t want to close my eyes!” He screamed off note, eliciting more laughter from her. “I don’t wanna fall asleep cause I’d miss you babe, and I don’t wanna miss a thing!”
“You are incorrigible.” She shook her head, a huge smile on her face. Jensen dipped into her and brushed his nose against hers, kissing her softly.
“Yeah, but you love it.” Jensen continued to spin her around as the song faded out. He let go of her hand and brought his gloved fingers to brush along her cheekbone. “Wanna call it, it’s getting cold.” He noted, taking in the pink adorning the tip of her nose and apples of her cheeks.
“Sounds good.” Jensen pulled himself from her and guided her back to the edge of the rink by the shack. Jensen helped her to the bench and took off her skates for her. As they finished putting their shoes back on, Roy appeared, two paper cups in hand.
“For the lovely couple.” He handed them each a cup and retreated with a goodnight. Jensen thanked him again. Wrapping both hands around the cup, she let the heat radiate through to the bone. She breathed in the steam coming through the lid, the spices making her mouth water.
“Apple cider? You really did your research.” She admired his ambition, taking a sip of the delicious warm beverage.
“Nah, I just pay attention.” He held out his hand and the two went back to the car. He let her in the passenger side before getting behind the wheel.
“Oh, so what else have you been paying attention to?” Genuine curiosity had gotten the better of her. She wasn’t sure if she should feel flattered or self conscious.
“Well, you always have a coffee with you every morning. Milk and vanilla flavor or when you are in a particularly good mood, you try the seasonal flavors like pumpkin or peppermint. Or maybe it’s the switch up in the coffee that puts you in a good mood, I haven’t figured that out. I’ve also noticed that you don’t eat beef or pork, the reason for which I have yet to decipher. And you love to sing, whether its lip synching, singing under your breath, or belting it out when you think no one is listening.” His declaration was far from what she had expected. She had been paying attention to him too, but she never imagined he had noticed so much of her.
“Oh, the good mood is definitely because of the coffee, you have yet to see me without coffee. And I don’t eat beef or pork because I’ve never really liked the taste. Also, it’s healthier and better for the environment.” She explained. “What self respecting Texan does not like some good barbecue?” He had a look of mock horror on his face as he watched out the windshield.
“Shut up, you can barbecue chicken too idiot.”
“Oh, that’s so not the same and you know it.” He argued.
Y/n shrugged at him. “I don’t know that, ‘cause I don’t eat it. Is that a deal breaker for you?”
“Let me think about it.” Her jaw dropped, even though she should have been expecting a smart ass comment like that one.
“You are so lucky you are driving right now.” She growled, only eliciting a laugh from Jensen.
Jensen pulled his car into the parking garage for his apartment building, and brought her up to his apartment. The scent hit her nose as soon as he pushed open the door. The garlic and rosemary encompassed the whole apartment and made her mouth water.
“Let me take your coat.” Jensen helped her out of her coat and hung it up along with his own. She followed Jensen into his kitchen. There were candles lit on the set dining room table. There was some dish sitting there too, waiting to be served. “White wine or red?” Jensen asked her as he took two bottles from the cabinet.
“Uh, guess.” She challenged him. “You’ve been paying such close attention, I wanna see if you can guess correctly?” She sat down at the table as he motioned for her to do so. He licked his lips as he eyed her, but she wouldn’t give an inch.
“Okay, well, you like whiskey on the rocks when you are down, besides that you also almost always order some type of cocktail. Come to think of it, I’ve never actually seen you drink wine.” She shook her head as he walked through his thought process. “White, definitely white.” He stood firm in his decision.
“Wow, you are good, how do you do that? Seriously it should be like... a super power, or at least you could go on America’s Got Talent.” She really was surprised how effortlessly he seemed to figure things out like he did.
“You’re funny.” He came over with the glasses he had poured and sat down next to her.
“I’m serious, it’s impressive.” She shoved his shoulder and took a drink of the wine. It wasn’t her favorite, wine never was, but it wasn’t disgusting, she could drink it. The only time she ever chose wine was if she was on a date.
“Well, I hope my cooking skills are just as impressive.” He cut into the dish and plated some for her and himself. Then he handed her a piece of garlic bread to go with it.
“Wait, you cooked this? How did you pull that off?” The food was still steaming, but they had been gone for at least two hours. Not to mention the lit candles when they came in.
“I put it together before I left and had someone watch it while it cooked.”
“Resourceful.” She muttered as she took her first bite. She fought back a groan, her eyes rolling in her skull. “Alright, that’s it, am I being punk’d? You are officially great at everything.”
“It’s good?” His eyes lit up as he watched her reaction.
“It’s sinful.” She affirmed. Jensen bit back his inappropriate comment, choosing to just accept her compliment.
“I’m glad.” Jensen dug into his own plate. The two of them falling into a comfortable silence as they ate. Her plate was nearly empty when she spoke up.
“Alright, so since you seem to know so much about me, I want to know about you.”
Jensen took a sip of wine, mulling over his answer. “Well, I have an older brother and younger sister. I’m from Dallas-“
“Come on, that’s all public knowledge. Tell me something I can’t look up on the internet.” She interrupted him. He was going to have to think hard too, because there was a lot out there for her to find.
“Okay, so everybody knows about me doing West Side Story in high school. But what most don’t know is, I was actually on the cheer team.” His words were almost a whisper as he admitted to her, like he thought someone else may be listening in.
“Uh, yeah. I already knew that.”
“What?”
“Jensen, your high jump at conventions is like near perfect form. Okay, you don’t learn that playing football. Hell, it’s better than mine.” She said matter of fact.
“Wait, you were a cheerleader?” He sat back.
“Is that so surprising?”
“It is. I would have never pegged you as a cheerleader.” He shook his head, his playful grin returning to his face.
“It was only senior year. And I only did it to piss off the popular girl that had tormented me since sixth grade.” She shrugged her shoulders. “We actually ended up becoming good friends. Who knew?”
Jensen laughed out loud. Y/n was taken aback, not expecting his reaction. “I’m sorry, it’s just, I could’ve guessed that. You make friends with everybody.”
“No, I perfectly curate my personality to individuals so that I can avoid confrontation at all costs. It’s different.” She was mostly joking, but her face conveyed a certain degree of seriousness.
“Is that what you’re doing here?” Jensen leaned into the table and she mirrored his movements. His voice lowered as he questioned her.
“Wouldn’t you like to know.” She tsked. He nodded his head in agreement as he returned to finish the dinner on his plate.
When both of their plates were clean, Jensen stood and cleared the table. She watched him move around his kitchen, enjoying him relaxed and in his element. He always seemed to move so effortlessly and with more grace than you would expect from a grown man. It was mesmerizing.
“Tonight was amazing. You really know what you are doing, Ackles.” She stood and followed him into the kitchen, glass of wine in hand. She sauntered up next to him where he was rinsing off the plates in the sink, fitting her body close to his.
“I’m glad you had a good time.” He turned and glanced down at her, shutting off the water and drying his hand on a towel. “Does this mean I get to take you out a second time” He turned his body fully towards her, placing his hands on her waist. She put down her glass and gripped his biceps.
“I don’t know, haven’t decided yet.” She looked off in the distance, a mock look of thought on her features.
“Maybe I can convince you. Or at the very least,” He leaned into her, pulling her body flush against his own. “Remind you.” Jensen bypassed her lips, going straight for that spot on her neck that he remembered drove her wild. She all but melted underneath his touch, the feel of his warm mouth against her pulse pooling in her belly. He set something off inside her that she didn’t quite understand, this feeling that no other man had been able to pull from her. It was need and longing and something else she couldn’t place.
“Jay,” she mewled, bringing his mouth up to hers. She wanted to taste him, to feel his tongue in her mouth. Her body opened up to him, welcoming him to take over every sensation she had. As his hands came up to her face, she dropped hers to the waistband of his jeans, and began to tug his buttoned down free.
“Hey, wait.” Jensen pulled away from her and gripped her wrists to halt her movements. She whimpered at the loss of his heat.
“What’s wrong?” Her eyes flickered lazily back up to his.
“Sweetheart, I don’t want this to be just about sex.” She was confused by his declaration, not sure where else he had been heading a moment ago.
“You’re joking?” She dropped her arms from his grasp.
“No, I’m not.” He leaned against the sink next to them, watching her closely.
“Don’t you think that may be a little redundant here?” She really could not tell if he was serious. He was absolutely the first man she had ever met that turned down sex. To call him an enigma was slowly becoming an understatement.
“I don’t. Y/n, I think considering the consequences, that we should take this a little slower. We hit it right out of the park on the first pitch, and I don’t want to fly to close to the sun here.” He admitted.
She scanned his soft features as he smiled warmly at her. “That was single handedly the weirdest analogy I have ever heard. Who says shit like that in real life?” Jensen laughed with her, the apprehension he had been feeling dissipating. “But you’re not wrong. One step at a time?” Jensen nodded at her offering, leaning in to kiss her cheek softly.
“You want help cleaning up?” She offered, it was the least she could do after the evening he had treated her to.
“I would love that.”

now i have a story that i’d like to tell...
about this guy you all know him, he had me scared as hell! / he comes to me at night after i crawl into bed / he's burnt up like a weenie and his name is fred!
horror aus part trois. part one can be found here, and two, here. all warnings and disclaimers still apply--as does the love.
do you dare dare journey below the cut...?
it’s a long way down, a long way down - a holy hell au inspired by the creep series
Tumblr media
there are stories are stories on stories on stories about matches made in heaven. about two pure souls destined for the other, finally reaching a ‘happily ever after’ after going through trials and tribulations that, honestly, are played out and boring.
that’s exactly what fergus macleod would tell you, anway.
he’s been inhabiting his mortal coil for a few decades now, engaging in his favorite activity--serial murder.
but lately, something has--gone out.
he’s lost his light. his passion for killing.
so he gets an idea, and puts out an ad for a videographer.
he’ll make a documentary, he decides. a magnum opus to relight the blood and the violence that had brought him so much joy over the years.
what he didn’t expect was andi.
not her beauty. not her courage. not her wit, sharp enough to make a god bleed.
and not her fangs, and a thirst to rival his--even if her moral compass was a bit more lawful.
enough of stories about matches made in heaven.
talk to me about a match made in hell.
(these--particular films are not easy watches, though i personally enjoy them. the sequel is my favorite, but remember when i said ‘explicit sexuality’ in the first warning post? the especially applies to creep 2. when i imagined this au it was less in-line with the main narrative of the movies and more, say, a meet-cute story you’d overhear at an addams’ family function.)
mini soundtrack sampler includes: lovelytheband, ‘buzz cut’ + catfish & the bottlemen, ‘longshot’ + albert natural, ‘sara loves her juicy fruit’
red sun rises like an early warning - an ancient cares au inspired by sleepy hollow
Tumblr media
sleepy hollow was often called a “sleepy” village, in the way that meant that nothing ever happened there. marie van tassel, daughter of the richest man in town--and immediately intrigued by the arrival of one police constable walter vaughn, sent all the way from new york city--would disagree. especially in recent years.
the headless horseman had returned.
and marie, for all the occult studying she’d done far from the gaze of her father’s watchful eyes, still so haunted after her mother’s brutal and untimely passing--couldn’t figure out why.
she knew exactly who he was. what he was. but why had he returned? what had woken him?
and could see really be that mournful, when it had sprung start the machinations of fate that brought walter right to her doorstep?
“i have shed my tears for boom... and yet my heart is not broken. do you think me wicked?”
“no... but perhaps there is a little bit of witch in you, marie.”
“walter, why do you say that?”
“because you have bewitched me.”
mini soundtrack sampler includes: frank sinatra, ‘witchcraft’ + creedence clearwater revival, ‘i put a spell on you’ + the rolling stones, ‘sympathy for the devil’
drunk and driven by a devil’s hunger - a safety nets au inspired by apostle, co-starring @agent-thorn

it was only five years into the birth of an entirely new century, and her twin brother had been taken; her father, lost in his grief, was utterly useless.
it was all up to parker jensen.
she found a fake pass easy enough, slyly dancing her way through conversations with began with “you know, i don’t remember seeing you at any of the prayer meetings...” until finally, finally, they reached that accursed island.
she’d never been to wales before.
she had no idea what to expect.
what are you supposed to expect, when you’re all alone on a solo rescue mission going toe-to-toe with what can only be described as a cult?
but ivar--son of the enigmatic priest of the island, malcolm--was a nice surprise.
the only nice surprise that she’d find.
it wasn’t until she caught jeremy, sneaking home after what she could only guess had something to do with ffion, that she got her first flash of what would be a more and more grisly truth.
this island had its own god.
and something much more sinister than genesis had happened on this soil.
mini soundtrack sampler includes: bakar, ‘hell n back’ + mumford & sons, ‘little lion man’ + neil reid, ‘mother of mine’
let that fever make the water rise - a grace & choice au inspired by the ritual
Tumblr media
it was supposed to be like a vacation. diana hadn’t had one in at least fifteen years. vida, even longer.
so why not hiking? why not the kungsleden--the king’s trail--in northern sweden?
the first two days were bliss. nothing but rolling hills, clear skies. up until:
“ah fuck!”
“vida--shit, vida, are you okay?”
“yeah, i’m--urk!”
“all right, that was not a reassuring noise, let’s have a look at that--”
vida’s left knee went from pink to a swollen blue to an agonized, deep purple tinged with green over the course of next day. diana couldn’t bear to watch her struggle to keep up, especially when this was supposed to be a romantic break, nothing as taxing as the fieldwork happening back home.
by the light of a campfire, diana studied their map, humming. “what if we just cut through the forest?” she asked. “if we just went as the crow flies... it cuts the time in half. and you need medical attention, vida, we can’t keep going on like this.”
“has the battalion cleared this area?” vida returned her question with one of her own, eyes shining. the reflection of the fire made them look like stones polished by a river. “we wouldn’t run into anything, would we?”
diana smiled. “nothing we couldn’t handle, love, i’m sure.”
and diana didn’t change her mind when they set off the next morning... up until they found the disembowled carcass of an elk, placed up high in a tree like a religious icon.
she thought of morgan.
“diana, what--what put that up there? something had to have put that up there!”
mini soundtrack sampler includes: billie eilish, ‘bury a friend’ + two feet, ‘i feel like i’m drowning’ + coldplay, ‘paradise’
you can hear the river from my burial bed - a secret gardens au inspired by the legends of slenderman & mercy black, co-starring @agent-hood

she wouldn’t say she wouldn’t remember. she did.
it was just that caroline janson had been in therapy for so long... she was no longer sure what of shards of her memories were real, and what would be, as dr. ward would say, hallucinations.
but she knew one thing: she was glad to be coming home.
“i hope chicken’s okay for your first night back,” parker began gently. “i’m just now realizing i forgot to ask--”
caroline smiled at her, “chicken would be great.”
she watched parker’s profile, as she opened her mouth, then closed it, then opened it again. finally, she inhaled, then began, “you know... carter’s missed you since you’ve been gone...”
caroline rolled her eyes. “parker. it’s been a decade and a half. i seriously doubt it.”
“hey, who knows my brother better right now, me or you?”
that earned a huff... and a grin. subdued, but still there. “... okay. fine. but... maybe not tonight.” parker glanced at her once, and nodded.
“i understand. besides, maybe i want you all to myself for the first few days, anybody think about that?”
and caroline laughed.
and she wished that it felt like she wasn’t still being haunted.
mini soundtrack sampler includes:  oingo boingo, ‘dead man’s party’ + shaed, ‘trampoline’ + corrina repp, ‘only a beat’
don’t let it shake your steady thread-cutting hand - a royals & robots au inspired by kristy
Tumblr media
it was hardly tilde’s idea to spend thanksgiving alone harvard. but between the pandemic, the weather, and her own growing agitation at her father’s behavior...
it just seemed easier.
and it wasn’t all bad. she still had prudence, who opted to stay with her out of love (and perhaps a lack of family--but she didn’t ask). and they had run of essentially the entire campus--there were several buildings that stayed opened, even over the holiday. the library being one.
but it wasn’t until one night, when they made a late night trip to a convenience store not far from tilde’s housing that things became... strange.
“pru. ... pru!” she whispered, snacks in one hand, the other on pru’s elbow. “... i think she’s following us.”
“she?” pru asked, lowly, careful to keep her eyes down, as if they were just having a very, very difficult time decided on what kind of poptarts they wanted.
tilde, face oddly blanched, couldn’t find her voice, so she just nodded.
at the end of the aisle, a figure in dark hoodie and skinny jeans passed out of view.
one of pru’s arms went around tilde’s waist. “don’t worry. i’m sure she’s just here at the same time as us. it’s a small store.”
tilde would remember that when she got home in time to find a snuff film loaded onto her laptop.
“oh shit--oh shit, oh god--!”
this is why she preferred halloween.
mini soundtrack sampler includes: yeah yeah yeahs, ‘heads will roll’ + rihanna, ‘disturbia’ + nonono, ‘pumpin’ blood’

A New Fall
Tumblr media

Part Ten: Honeycrisp
Summary: Life moves on.      Pairing: Jensen x Reader Word Count: 1564 Warnings: Set post-Season 15, which I know makes a lot of people sad to think about. Square Filled: This entire series will fill my proposal square for BTZ Bingo.
A/N: Ah, the tenth and final chapter! I’m so grateful to everyone who read and and commented and reblogged and ... all of things ... for this series. I wasn’t sure after coming back for so long that I would still have any readers, but you all surprised me, and I feel the love! Hope you enjoy this fluffy ending :)
Masterlist
The airport was busier than normal, but you supposed that was to be expected a few days before the holiday. Once you found a parking spot near the arrivals gate, you zipped your coat a little higher and rushed inside, anxious to both get out of the cold and meet your visitor.
Your threat to Stephen hadn’t been so wrong -- by the time the lawyer was done with him, by the time he settled everything that needed to be made right, Stephen’s choice was more or less sign over everything you asked for or do jail time for fraud. The Farmer’s Stand, Ms. Kitty’s house, and the remainder of Ms. Kitty’s late husband’s estate was now legally yours. The only thing Stephen had left to his name was his own house, though he only stayed there long enough to sell the place and move into Boston.
You put Ms. Kitty’s house back into her name, gave back her husband’s estate, but, at her urging, kept The Farmer’s Stand.
The farm was yours, as it had always rightfully been. As soon as all of the proceedings were finalized, you decorated the inside of the house for Christmas -- you were too excited to wait.
You bit your lip as you waited, raising up on your toes and craning your neck to see through the throngs of travelers arriving at the Boston airport. Worry gripped you just a second before you saw Jensen smiling at you, coming down from his arrival gate.
With an excited squeal, you ran towards him, jumping into his arms. He was ready for it, and wrapped his arms around you tight, kissing you as though he had been gone a few years and not only weeks.
“Missed you,” Jensen mumbled into your ear when you stopped kissing him and pressed your cheek to his.
You drew in a deep breath; you had missed his smell. “Not as much as I missed you.”
* * * * *
Ms. Kitty was waiting at Y/N’s house when they returned from Boston. Jensen held tight to Y/N’s hand as they climbed the steps. He had an entire house to unpack, but he wasn’t in a rush.
Once everything in Attleboro was settled, Jensen had gone back to Texas to tie up some loose ends there, and pack for the move to Roosevelt Street. Leaving Y/N had been difficult, and he knew that she had been anxious about him leaving -- and the possibility that he wouldn’t come back after they spent time apart -- but nightly phone calls and text messages throughout the day had seemed to quell her tension.
“The house looks amazing,” Jensen said, taking his coat off and hanging it in the closet, “though I expected nothing less for Christmas -- or any other holiday. And --” He sniffed the air. “-- do I smell cinnamon rolls?”
Y/N smiled and nodded.
“Apple cinnamon rolls?” Jensen pushed.
Y/N laughed. “Jensen Ackles, you think I would make any other type of cinnamon roll in this house? C’mon, Kitty’s waiting for you.”
The older woman was in the kitchen, starting a pot of coffee. Jensen called her name, and she turned with a smile to hug him almost as tightly as Y/N had at the airport.
“So good to have you back,” Kitty greeted.
“So good to be back,” Jensen returned. “How’s everything?”
“Just as you left it,” she assured.
The three of them sat at the table to catch up, although not much had happened in the last several weeks since Jensen had left for Texas. Considering how eventful his first month in Attleboro had been, they were all grateful for the change of pace.
“Dad will be here tomorrow, and will stay until the New Year. He said he’s happy to help you with any projects at the Roosevelt house, if you want,” Y/N informed him.
Kitty swallowed a sip of coffee and nodded. “Yes, and if you have interior decorating needs, I’m a lady with a lot of time on my hands these days!”
Jensen laughed, and so did the two women. He knew that Kitty was still at the Farmer’s Stand on the weekends, but was otherwise enjoying what essentially equated to her retirement.
While Y/N took Kitty home, Jensen showered and cleaned up the kitchen, then helped himself to another cinnamon roll. His cheek was stuffed and crumbs dotted his short beard when Y/N walked in the front door. She laughed and joined her coat in the closet with his.
“You’re a mess,” she teased, taking a seat on the stool beside him at the kitchen counter.
Jensen nodded. “These are too good to care about not being a mess.”
She reached up to wipe a bit from his bottom lip. “I’m glad you like them. Are you tired?”
“Not as much as I thought I would be after flying today. How about you?”
Y/N shook her head. “I think I’m too excited that you’re here to be tired. We could watch a movie.”
“Lemme guess,” Jensen said, feigning ignorance, “a Christmas movie?”
“Duh!”
He laughed and agreed a Christmas movie would be nice. While he cleaned up again, she went upstairs to change into comfy pajamas. She came back downstairs and set up the movie, then handed Jensen the remote. She snuggled under his arm and, despite her claims to not be too tired, was asleep before the beginning credits of the movie had finished. Jensen smiled and kissed her forehead, settled back to watch the movie and eventually drift off to sleep himself.
* * * * *
Christmas Day, One Year Later
Jensen opened the door and announced his presence in Y/N’s house. His parents followed behind him, marveling at the beauty of the house and the farm. Y/N came bounding down the stairs, eager to meet Jensen’s parents. Once introductions were done between the three of them, Jensen introduced his parents to Kitty, and to Y/N’s father.
He also introduced them to Stephen; after a few months of living in Boston, that man had somewhat come to his senses. He went to his mother and explained that he had always felt he was expected to stay in Attleboro and run the family business, but had resented that self-imposed expectation for a long time. In turn, right or wrong, he had acted out. Time away had helped him work through those issues, and he wanted to to what he could to reconcile. Y/N had been hesitant, but with the encouragement of Jensen, her father, and Ms. Kitty, she had forgiven Stephen, too.
They were all together for the holiday now, and Jensen was nervously excited. He had a reason for wanting his parents here, for wanting all of them together. He only hoped things would go according to plan.
Y/N and Kitty had put a lot of hard work into dinner, and his mother joined in to help after she arrived. They had the food ready quickly, and everyone sat to eat together.
The conversation flowed until bellies were full and plates were empty. Y/N put on a pot of coffee and brewed hot water for hot chocolate, also. Once everyone had their drink of choice, they gathered around the Christmas tree to exchange gifts. He cleared his throat, took Y/N by the hand and pulled her up from her seat.
“Before we do this, I wanna steal you away for a few minutes. Is that okay?”
Y/N looked at the family surrounding them, all with big smiles on their faces and nodded. “Okay, yeah, sure.”
He set both of their mugs on the kitchen counter as he led her out through the back slider. She shivered and huddled close to him for warmth. Their boots crunched through the snow as they walked toward the orchard. The trees were lit up with multi-colored lights; silver tinsel fluttered in the light breeze and reflected off of the light.
Jensen stopped them close to the trees where he reached for her hand and laced his fingers with hers. “Do you remember the first time we stood here like this?”
Y/N looked up at him with a smile. “Yeah, I do.”
He took her other hand. “That was the moment I fell in love with you, I think. It was the moment my heart knew you were the one -- you were the reason I came here. Not the farm, not really.”
Jensen kept a hold of her hands while he kneeled on one knee in the snow. He let go of her hands long enough to take the ring box from his pocket, and present the ring to her. Y/N’s hands flew to cover her mouth.
“You are the reason, Y/N. You’re my reason, for everything. I love you. Will you marry me?”
She sniffled back happy tears. “You’re gonna get frostbite on your knee.”
“That’s your concern right now?” Jensen chuckled.
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t expecting this, at all. I think I’m not processing.” With a deep breath, Y/N composed herself. “Yes. Yes!”
Jensen slid the ring on her finger then stood and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her sweetly, not entirely unlike the first time they had kissed. Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck and Jensen knew in that moment, with complete certainty, that he was home.

Just watched 13 Reasons Why S4
Ended up making a full blown commentary per episode because this is finally the last season and I’ve been enjoying this mess since S1. I even forgot that it was released until a friend brought it up to me. So in short,
Tumblr media
Ep1
OKAY WHO DIES AGAIN HUH??
Clay, narrating: *I'm good at hiding shits so my parents don't notice at all." His parents: *concernedly looking at him pale and mushing food on the dining table*
The concequences of investigating murder cases and creating conspiracies instead of studying your ass off because it's a damn school really caught up huh.
Charlie holy shit I love you he's so chill and good.
It's been years I still can't believe Justin is really adopted by the Jensens. Funny that now the table is reversed, with Justin finally actually doing better and taking care of the increasingly-ill Clay.
SCOTT!! OH MY GOD! SCOTT REED!! OH MY FUCKING GOD!! AAAAAAAAAAAAA HOLY SHIIITTTTTTTTT AAAAAAAAA!!!
Wow my headcanon is approved, he already graduated by S3. No reason he didn't hang out with the gang after all the shits in S2 if he was no longer around in the first place.
He's still so nice even in Clay's trippy nightmare. Is that what Clay remembers about him? Well not really surprising, considering Scott actually was worried about him in S2.
Good god finally Clay meets a therapist- Wait a minute that's the guy from CSI:NY?!?! Isn't Clay just gonna get clobbered instead.
Okay I knew they are really close and I do adore their relationship so much but HOLY SHIT THEY ACTUALLY GO AT IT WITH ALEX AND ZACH???
Alex: *panicking over the kiss* Zach: Ayy don't worry let's just continue perhaps-suicidally hanging out on dangerous rooftops that you were almost fall to your death from. Alex: ????
Ep2
That narration of Clay ranting about college applications. I'll drink to that bruh.
Ya I too make my applications and other supposedly important matters at 3AM instead of any other more sensible time.
Oh my fucking god that is the creepiest smile I've ever see.
I feel like as Justin gets better and better with his life, Clay goes worse.
Justin is so excited about going to college! You deserve the future man.
The old-time stoners and drunkards are rehabbed or dead. Enter Zach.
Winston: *eyes and ears up to your shit 24/7*
Nobody likes Tyler in S1 but now everybody likes him.
Okay. Cops doing shit jobs at protecting. This feels too real with this situation right now.
Clay's adventure to put the trash into the trash bin.
Omg they got the paint to the lab this is going real CSI.
Idk about u but at this point I don't exactly want to pay attention to Jessica/Justin problems anymore.
I know Zach and Clay don't get along and that's why I need their adventure together.
Clay drunk-puking on Justin. Well well well how the turntables.
The return of Monet!!
"I have 2.8. If I work hard, I'll get 2.9" Winston omg same.
Tht held gaze between Alex and Winston.. Is this slow burn fanfiction???????
Yes Mr. CSI it will definitely get worse.
I know writing about your feelings can make you feel better but probably not in your college essay form.
Ep3
I'm starting to think Clay is the one who dies in the end? Idk tho.
I guess the toll of busting ass trying to save everyone by yourself is catastrophically high, huh, Clay? Funny that he now goes from 100 in S3 to 0 in here and that's actually realistic.
Alex and Winston are really pining each other with Zach in the background lmao.
"You don't wanna go on the Valentine Dance with me? Even as friends?" Well sometimes there are moments when you just don't go back to being friends. It's an actual normal thing.
And besides the last time Alex goes with Jess for something she wanna do, he ends up murdering somebody. So.
"Hey Zach. Hey punch me. Hey you pussy now? Hey hey. Bitch." *poke* *poke* *poke*
No Zach he's trying to save all of your asses. You can't just say that.
Charlie is really just there trying to do his best in this shitshow and like Justin I wanna laugh but also am proud.
Everyone: *being paranoid and unto each other* Alex and Winston: *having the date of their life*
I wish everyone doesn't have this level of trust issues but then again we won't have a shitstorm drama like this.
When did this become "what is love?" philosophy class?
"You know love but you love so fiercely and sometimes it hurts."Wow Mr. CSI you hit the mark.
How many parties can the Liberty High hold in a year?
"You go with Charlie to get back to Justin, right?" Wow Diego you HIT the mark.
I still have problems with Ani as a character, but I do like her casual banters with Clay.
You know, with all these trust issues, I'm surprised nobody actually tries to peek on other's phone. Like, I know that's low. But, you know, faster solution. And better than having mass hallucinations.
Oh God the football team really is a bunch of jerks. Good fucking thing Scott is outta here.
Alex and Winston almost die like couples in a cheap slasher movie.
"Fuck Love." Clay Jensen, 2019 (according to the movie timeline)
Ep4
Why is Charlie talking? Why is he wearing the football jersey? Who on earth dies?? Is it Zach? Justin? Somebody else from the football team? But the content of your speech man...
Ah yeah. Clay did survive a great big deal of many ugly shits. Single-handedly thanks to adrenaline, mostly.
Jess got a point tho. Ani could have followed Clay to stop him, by herself or with the gang. What did she do? She spied on Winston and Alex, and then went back to the dance. So much for handling anything themselves.
Or maybe, the gang shouldn't have let Ani and Clay take care of it themselves.
Does anybody in this show ever figure out Clay has dead people hallucinations?
Domestic Jensen family is my everything.
Charlie really out there bribing Zach with his homemade cookies I-
Ah yeah, I kinda forgot that in reality Alex and Winston have a really difficult situation. With Bryce and Monty stuff.
"Looking back on your time at Liberty, do you have any regrets?" Really? Isn't that all they have?
"Who do you trust most in your life and why?" Everybody: *immediately side-eyeing each other*
Clay c'mon wtf Justin is really just worried sick and trying to help you. Aaand he's gone.
Jess you don't put your hands into something without checking it first...
Why would you only send 2 adults to supervise 30-50 kids on a camping wildlife trip? They wouldn't be able to do shit.
"I thought you were a football player!" "I AM a football player! And so are YOU!" Gold.
Dream!Monty and Dream!Clay really sit like that and I almost laugh were it not for the fact that I do that too. It's strange to see that for once, they talk normally, heart-to-heart, without the usual snickering, chiding, all that venom.
Oh shit they really make Monty and Clay mirror each other like that. They both protect people they love but have tendencies to snap, one way or another.
Zach, dude, I know you've been a real good friend. But Alex almost died. Twice. Because of your drunken ways. And you laughed. Didn't you spend an entire season trying hard to not let him die again? What's wrong with you?
When did this become a horror movie?
The Standalls :((
CHARLIE MY MAN WITH HIS COOKIES. And incidentally, a wild Zach appears.
"So are we gonna fall apart or trust each other now!" Justin my man.
Clay dude that would have been an amazing entrance were it not for the fact you looked insane.
I can't fucking believe they just go normally at campfire like that. Two people almost died. Several got beaten. What the fuck.
Does it come from the bottom of your heart or it doubles as a threat, Clay?
Alex you had us at the first half not gonna lie.
GR A NO LA CA MP C O OKIES? ??
Wait. So who has been fucking around with the football team? Who moved Clay?? Huh??
Ep5
GUYS THERE IS A THING CALLED GPS ON THE PHONE?? What are you? 3?
Justin finally breaking down after 5 episodes being the most decent and healthy person around. Well Charlie is too but he's new, so.
Finally an obligatory meeting at Monet.
CYRUS AND THE PUNK GANG!!! God I love you guys where have you been. And you guys are computer geeks?!?!?! Perfect.
My question exactly, Clay. Good replies tho, Cy.
I'm still thinking how for a nerd, Clay knows A LOT of people and knows who to ask what.
"How am I even friends with you?" Ya Alex that's my question too. How are you suddenly bff with Zach? I don't remember you two being close in S1?
Hm. If you aren't holding his family at stake, there is no way Tony would even think to rat out.
Mr. CSI starts going CSI on Clay.
I almost forgot Charlie's last name is St. George. The cast goes by Charlie mostly so.
Justin really shows up at the party with the angry mom pose and disappointed look at Clay. The turntable, people. Flynn's voice got raspy.
Oh no no Clay you don't go there. Please don't split my Jensen-Foley brothers like that. Meanwhile the punk gang be like just watching there.
C O O KI E S??? Goddamn Charlie do you bring cookies everywhere you go??
Charlie my boy you T_T I was kinda suprised that the cookie baking actually had a sad backstory.
Clay-Zach bonding that I fucking wish for oh yeah. I definitely didn't expect it with piano and drunk singing tho.
While Clay is having the time of his life, Tony is seeing life flashes in his eyes.
Yassss he winssss!!!!
Caleb's expression when the sherrif hugs him lmfao
Nice try Sherrif but Tony knows your tricks.
"What of any of this is okay?" Wow things you'd never hear Justin says in S1.
Meanwhile, Charlie and Alex are high on weed cookies as fuck. Their conversation is the most interesting thing I've seen beside the Scott cameo till now.
The look on Justin's face when Clay pushes him :((
MY DUDES HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT JEFF'S DEATH? WHAT HE WAS ACCUSED FOR?! You do not, under any circumstances, drive drunk.
Ep6
Clay be spitting truth.
They really be discussing Clay's chronic hero syndrome huh.
Okay. Operation Clay-Zach failed.
Weren't Zach all fuck it all yeah! kinda guy? Guess when you are the one who faces death it's not that fun anymore huh.
"One Clay Jensen is enough" Jess truth.
Do Alex and Charlie really study Spanish in front of Tony who is not helping at all? That would be embarrassing lmao.
Clay: Fuck off. Hallucination!Monty: *sits next to him*
Gotta hand it to Timothy Granaderos. He could go venomous to puppy eyed in 1 second. Amazing.
Man. School shootings are fucked up. There are many things I wonder about mankind and one of them is why is school shooting even possible?
Hallucination!Bryce: Hi I’m sorry I’m late. I hear this is time for Clay’s dead people hallucination party.
"Are you a hero or a martyr?" Wow they really throw the question.
And here is Clay sitting under the desk between his two most hated dead people hallucinations whispering moral dilemmas to him.
Meanwhile Winston and Zach got high.
Charlie helping Alex to breath.
The talk with Estella and Tyler.
"No offense, you are cool, but I don't wanna die with you." Zach chill lmao.
Are.. Are you sure outing that to Winston is a good call, Zach? For a guy who was super paranoid that his gang would narc him, he sure is loose mouthed himself.
I like how everyone from Tyler to Zach to Winston, admits that Alex is a really kind guy.
Wow Tony did you really expect anyone could do anything in that situation, in fucking Evergreen situation, for that matter?
Charlie is a great friend wow.
Cl-CLAY DON'T GO OUT that is EXACTLY what you are NOT supposed to do!!!
Goddamnit Clay. Holy shit Clay.
Dylan Minnette really worked hard in this scene.
.......... WAIT A MINUTE IT'S NOW ACTUALLY CHARLIE ALEX????? Tony be just walking in.
Ep7
Clay really got into a psych ward. Talk about darkest hour. And it’s only ep 6?
Wow Ty that's some brave lines.
Which hallucination-induced person is Clay talking to before Ani gets there?
Ok that therapy session made me tear up.
These kids are having college interviews at the worst time possible. They are all fucking breaking down one way or another.
And Charlie just, really never gives up on Alex huh.
What's most important to Clay is his friends. Real quick to answer that question huh.
God Justin lashing out at the Jensens. It's the first time he does it and it hurts.
Zach holy fuck. I appreciate you didn't out it but holy fuck you didn't have to do that are you trying to die
Clay-Tony combo is back baby I miss them so much. Although perhaps Tony you would mind a bit about Clay's health because clearly he was out of it.
This is so short. I too really don't like application essays and interviews and the inevitable revisit of the sadder parts of my life because of them.
Ep8
When did this become sci-fi apocalyptic story?
God I miss the time when Clay's dreams are just Inception-styled trippy shit with Scott randomly says hello and gets him water.
Okay. Everyone's got their own way to cope with existential and moral crisis huh.
You know what, I would like one movie out of this sci-fi dream.
I knew it Tyler was a bait to smoke out illegal gun dealers. Is that... An okay thing to do for a high schooler? Sounds fucked up, all things considered.
Yaaay Justin's got the college! I'm super happy!
Wow Estella good question.
Wow Tyler good statement. If they trust each other a bit more, everything would have been a bit better.
Ah shit. Justin relapses again.
Does Tony need to be pummelled first before he finally goes all off to finish his opponent or what?
Is this going Big Brother Is Watching
What the fuck. That locker fight scene is disgusting.
Jess and Clay might throw shades at each other but together they share one brain cell.
"I think it's a walkout, Sir" Tyler lmao
Wow Zach and Alex heart-to-heart.
Cyrus really steps on some pedestal to make his point.
Aaand Zach and Alex really go all out on "doing it right" huh.
They really have students vs cops riot at this time. Talk about timing.
It's nice to see the punk gang enjoying the fighting again.
Dude what happens if you don't have anything on your bag tho.
Aaaah the punk gang with Tyler again!!
"Why are you with me and not with Charlie?" Zach ouch that hurts.
Zach no no no Zach get out of there too Zach pls
Clay really becomes 2nd in command to Jess huh.
Charlie tries to save Clay but gets whacked on the head instead.
Tony you came back!! Oh so that college scout was.. Oh.
Oh shit Clay. Oh. Shit. I should have realized that. Goddamn.
Ep9
"I like sleep." Charlie me too.
God Alex and Charlie literally sleep together jaldjwaownaljewoalsj that some cute shit.
Wow Clay really takes Mr. CSI's advice to round up the gang and confesses. That's a step.
Charlie sometimes has a good idea, huh.
The Jensens meeting is probably the reason why the idea of parenthood scares me.
Also Clay and Justin really put the practice of "tell the parents the less-harsh-but-still-harsh truth, then ask them to get prom back" by the book. And it's awkward.
Aww Charlie coming out to his dad and the response he gets... When you put the rich fams like Dempseys, Walkers and Saint Georges together, the last one is really the only healthy one huh.
Way to go Jess!
Ah I forgot Alex has an older brother.
Aaaahhh Charlie has dinner with the Standalls! Their reaction is so sweet!
"Does he make you happy?" "Yeah. A lot." AHDKWJWOAKDUWLAOEL I mean after everything that has happened to Alex, man I am so happy he can say that with a fond smile.
WHAT THE FUCK HAHAHAHHA CHARLIE WHAT THE FUCK HOLY SHIT LMFAO I THOUGHT THIS WAS JUST AN TRIPPY ANIMATED IMAGINATION THING and Alex is so done with his extra shit.
Wow Ani you do karaoke good, asking Jess out even better.
OH MY GOD IT ESCALATED. Also Alex is right that one is creepy Charlie.
I thought by special doughnut Caleb means some diet-related stuff fit to Tony's menu for fighting. Why didn't I expect a literal Will You Go To Prom doughnuts?
CHARLIE PLEASE STOP AHAHAHAHA you dumb rich kid where did you get all those lamps and prop candles.
"Would you love me any less?" Aww Clay knows Justin loves him.
"You three all look adorable" Ya Jess, same.
Tony really out there doing the "I'm here because he's here" to Caleb.
Clay, Alex, and Charlie be like judging Zach hard.
Oh right that one kid from Cyrus's gang is gay and he brought his boyfriend!
Zach: You two sitting here like it's a funeral. Also Zach: *proceeds to continue sitting as well*
"We deserve to live." Finally something from Zach's mouth that I can agree for this season.
I love that Tony and Caleb are such good friends to Clay.
And now it's Winston turn for dead people hallucination.
..... The door to the other side again.. :'''((
CHARLIE AND ALEX WON THE PROM KINGS AAAAAAHHHHHH I mean with all those extra efforts, it'd be hard to not to. And there goes Alex finally giving in to dance.
I don't like Luke the football guy when he's the enemy but I like him when he's a friend. He's a hype man lmao.
Alex I'm so happy for you man. I'm glad you are finally happy. My heart was tight at the dance part .
Everyone: *dances* Clay: *sits there, monologuing philosophically*
I like that Clay and Ani finally being honest that they don't fit each other romantically. As romance goes there is not much romantic tension between them. And they have way too many flawed traits that when paired, would turn the relationship sour and possibly toxic in the end.
Justin do u like to show up and make everyone step aside for you or what.
I like that Clay was just watching from a distance. Then at last minute decided to join the crowd with his mother, whom he had a few trust issues with in all seasons.
Charlie: "Foundry's gay?!" Alex: "Mind's blown" Me: Same.
There has been nothing wrong going on in one episode, aside from the Zach one that's timely stopped by Charlie and Alex. I'm suspicious.
Ah. Yes. Of course.
Oh my god Justin's the one dead huh?
Ep10
Oh thank God he hasn't died. Yet.
Oh God Justin no. No no no.
Get your shit together Zach. Even Charlie tells you that.
No no no not like this not after everything oh god.
Somebody would you actually please run after Clay too.
Oh my god Clay.
Oh my god Alex you. Even when he admits it to Winston, he still covers for Jess. I- oh god.
It's been only 15 minutes and it hurts.
Charlie and Alex, the moms of the group.
You know, for a guy who says he doesn't love Justin, Alex gives a lot of shit about him. I guess you can still be around people you don't like?
I know the kiss is huge news Charlie but that's not the issue here lmao.
Zach: *hugs Clay* Clay: ????? Alex and Charlie: ?????? Zach: *pats Tyler's head* *leans on Clay*
The Padillas :''')
Clay Jensen. Class speaker. Wow.
Yeah Mr. CSI's voice is really calm, rather chilling, actually.
"You've looked at death too many times for a young person." Damn right Mr. Jensen.
Ah so that's the reason why Zach stole that letter. Makes sense, emotionally.
You know, I did say Idc anymore about Justin/Jessica problems but when it gets to this point, I can't not care.
So many people come to the hospital...
Clay and Justin's talk. I'm sorry I can't hold it in anymore. I'm fucking sobbing at this moment.
He's dead. He's dead. He's dead just like his mom. But he died not in the same way. He died holding his bro's hand. He died surrounded by his family. He died with people who loved him around.
"After everything, this is how it ends." Fucck
DID HE HAVE TO DIE??? DID JUSTIN FOLEY-JENSEN HAVE TO DIE?? Did you really have to put yet another sucker punch in the last episode of the season?? Yeah I know real kids and people do die from AIDS but really? After a whole season of Clay screaming kids wants to live to the point he lost his mind???
I spent the entire funeral screen crying. I couldn't even scream again when Scott is present in the funeral. I know he'd be there but god I can't right now.
Mr. CSI sure knows super effective ways to make Clay react.
"If Justin's dead, the none of the rest of it matters. " Clay..
He opens up.
Oh yeah I forgot Charlie is a junior.
AAAA COURTNEY AND RYAN ARE HERE!!! I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!
SCOTTTTT!!!!!! And CHLOE TOO!! It’s nice that they come together. But they aren’t like, together, right? I mean if he is her boyfriend she would say his name right away to Zach instead of a mere ‘would you like to meet him? He’s outside.’
These 4 are such good friends to attend their friends’ graduation ceremony.
The punk guys in toga are so... Refreshing to look. Such hype men.
"It's easy to hate. It's easy to fear. It's goddamn hard to love. But it's not optional. It's essential." Jessica Davis, everybody.
Jeff, Hannah and Justin really died in the span of 2 years. Add to that is Bryce and Monty, whose deaths left uncountable traumas on top of existing traumas. Yeah. It was hellish time.
Scott’s proud small smile when Clay gives his speech. Im love.
"Choose to live. Even on the worst day, life is a pretty spectacular thing." Clay Jensen, everybody.
Ma boi Zach really teared up at Clay's speech.
Luke and one of the punk kids talking about some geek thing I am not familiar with I-
“No offense Luke. You’ve got great arm but you haven’t been known for your brain.” PETER That BURNS LMAO
Poor Winston just being alone. OH HELLO RYAN YOU ARE FAST.
Zach is gonna study music! Nice foreshadowing since he plays a lot of music this season.
Clay having a gratitude moment with his parents and Scott be like munching cupcakes in the background.
Oh god Hannah ...
Wow the old tape gang is here!! The nostalgia hurts.
They bury the tapes on the same hill again asdfwosaiofai.
Kinda salty Sheri and Scott aren’t here. But then again I guess back then Scott was just helping Clay and co when he could and mostly minding his own business. HOWEVER isn’t Sheri like in the tape and pretty prominent too :(( Like she was really cool with Clay (despite the whole guilt over Jeff), tried to make amends and really helped with the polaroid cases.
Also you can't just insert Scott in Clay's dream and then not have them interact in the end. The dream was such a perfect bait. Like we know at least they apparently get along well.
Everything in Jessica’s final conversation with her Bryce hallucination. Everything in it.
Ryan: “Gordon Lightfoot?” Ha Ryan you miss a whole lot of drama.
Fuck I'm tearing up again at Justin's essay. He deadass makes an entire essay about Clay and how he is his savior I-
Oh my god they end it exactly like S1 with Tony and Clay riding away. They are really each other’s ride or die.
That’s it. It’s over. It’s been a long trainwreck. So the 2019 class graduates, so does Justin, they are doing uni right now and keeping in touch with everyone. Bye.

24. Cofessions Of A College Student!
Hello! So January keeps going at a fast pace speed... I hope that after all this is done (with good results!) I am finally able to rest and enjoy some time with my friends. So far, things aren’t going bad at all! And I am getting my goals for 2020 just great. And why is Eye of the Tiger playin in my head??? Oh, Jensen Ackles! Ahahahaha
Tumblr media
My name is Nora and I can’t wait for this semester to be over in the best way possible!
So another Monday,  another workout! I started the day by going out with my dog for a very refreshing 2 hours walk. At 7 a.m. it was very peaceful and nice but unfortunately, I ended up with a very bad blister in my foot and I am having some trouble walking so probably tomorrow my workout will consist in some cardio in the cycling machine I own and some bodyweight exercises.
Tumblr media
My meals have been so clean I feel my skin glowing like a disco ball! Just kidding. But it looks better no doubt even though I have always had nice skin. I have been drinking a lot of tea as well! I would drink water but it’s pretty cold lately so tea is my addiction! Speacilly, green tea with peppermint. Ah, what a treat!
Tumblr media
After this session and a nice hot shower, I sat at the table studying a bit. Not as much has I wanted but not bad. I am probably reading some texts when I go to bed just to work a bit more.
Although, this might seem all kind of balanced, I am getting tired and hoping for the semester to end so bad! I want to go out with my friends, go to the movies, enjoy a walk on the city, go to a bookstore for an hour... Something!
Tumblr media
Actually, Summer and I talked about this. We need a break from the stress! And just like me, Summer is in her own glow up journey and guess what? I am going to help! Sharing recipes, workouts, motivation and all that sweet stuff.
I am starting to do that asap so we look our best in 2020. We are going to be the queens of health for sure hahahah.
Tumblr media
Well, this is it! A short update but college doesn’t allow me more for now. Tell me your goals for 2020 and your dreams. I love hearing from you! See you soon!

The Great Escape - Part 1
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Word Count: Around 3340
Warnings: swearing
Summary: Jensen and Y/N have been best friends for life. All through high school they’ve imagined running away and making their dreams come true in Hollywood. But now with senior year becoming a reality will their plans actually follow through.
Edited and reviewed by the fabulous and ever impressive @misguidedconqueress
I intend no hate or ill wishes to him or his family. This is purely just for writing and wasting my time. This is purely for a hobby and my enjoyment. Maybe some of you will enjoy it too. I am by no means a writer so I apologize in advance for any mistakes or grammatical/spelling errors. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions!
                                                           ***
Language arts was droning. You were sprawled out across your desk, one hand hanging over the edge and the other supporting your head against the insurmountable force of gravity. Some poor sap was fighting the clock to see his book report through the end of class; very possibly summarizing each paragraph of an 18th century novel. Your eyes darted between the clock’s second hand and your teacher, praying that either one of them would be your savior.
Finally, Mrs. Thompson cut him off. “Thank you, Tanner.” She jolted from her desk. “For next class, on deck to present…”
You tuned out, counting down the final seconds until the bell rang. As it sounded, you were already halfway out the door before your bag was packed. You rushed to Mr. Whittaker’s class looking for Adrianna to walk over to the other campus with. You peeked into the classroom and it looked like she was reviewing a homework problem with him. You tapped your fingers on the books you held, barely managing to contain your impatience.
She wrapped her hair up in a ponytail as she came out. “Hey girl! I didn’t see you at Mitch’s party this weekend?” She questioned as you started down the hall.
“Yeah, Jens wasn’t feeling too well so I stayed in with him and we got pizza and watched a movie instead.” You explained.
“Couldn’t have felt that sick if you were eating pizza.” She called you out.
“Hey, I don’t control the guy…” You defended.
“No.” She cut you off. “You just follow him around anywhere and everywhere.”
“Umm.. he’s my best friend.” She shot you a look. “Aside from you of course.” You tried to recover.
“It’s okay. I get it. You two have been attached at the hip since preschool. Once he leaves you a widow, I’ll get more time with you.” She joked.
“Ew! We are not getting married. Just wait until after high school, we will have so much free time, we will see so much of each other, we will be sick.” You giggled.
“You mean if you don’t run off to California?” She asked.
You chuckled. “You know that’s just a dream. I’m gonna get real job… eventually.”
The both of you continued to giggle and gossip as you walked the outside path to the other school’s second building where your shared chemistry class was held. Adrianna stopped dead in her tracks in the lobby, pulling you over to the bulletin board.
“I can’t believe they are doing it!” She exclaimed ripping a flyer of the board. “What? Who?” You were completely lost.
“The senior council! They’re throwing a Sadie Hawkins!” She turned the flyer your way.
“A what?” You repeated, taking the flyer from her.
“A dance, but the girls ask the guys.” She explained.
“So like, do I gotta rent a tux?” You joked. She slapped your shoulder before taking the flyer and pinning it back up. “You gonna ask Mitch?”
“Duh. And obviously you’re taking Jensen.” She predicted.
You scoffed. “Dude, we are just friends. In all of four years he’s never asked me to a dance, so it’s not like I’m gonna ask him. Plus, he’s probably hoping McKayla is going to ask him, or something.”
“You should ask him.” She pushed.
You pondered it, but it seemed to weird. “No, maybe I’ll ask Alex.” She laughed. “Since when did you grow a pair?”
You smacked her back. “Shut up.”
Chemistry flew by as Adrianna continuously passed you notes attempting but ultimately failing to convince you to ask Jay to the dance. You were best friends, you wanted to keep it that way - romance would be the one thing that could mess it up. Another hour passed by and you parted ways with Adrianna to your favorite hour of the day; AP Psych. Jensen was already seated when you slid in next to him. He habitually offered you a stick of gum.
“Adrianna’s pissed we didn’t go to the party.” You commented without properly greeting him.
“Adrianna can kiss my ass.” He lightheartedly refuted, not truly meaning the insult. You knew it was actually Mitch he didn’t care for.
“What’s got you in such a foul mood?” You nudged him with your elbow.
“Did you see this crap?” He pushed the dance flyer your way.
“Yeah. Seems alright. Adrianna's pretty psyched up about it… wait… you’ve never cared one way or another about dances before?” You inquired.
He sighed. Little did you know, this was the year he planned to ask you. For homecoming, he had finally built up the courage only for the opportunity to ask to be stolen away. He figured you probably would ask some jock and pair off with him for the rest of the year. The remaining chances of Winterfest and Prom being taken away as well.
“So you gonna ask Alex?” He grumbled.
“No!” You denied, blush rising to your cheeks. He knew you too well.
He squinted your way as if calling you out. But the teacher walked in before you could further defend yourself.
During the powerpoint you found time to whisper his way. “So, have like twenty girls already asked you?”
“Nah. Only sixteen.” He joked back. You kicked him under the seat.
“Did you say yes to any of them?” You further pressed.
“Y/N and Jensen.” The teacher sounded, causing a pit to rise in your stomach. “As you can see by Y/N's face, her fight or flight response has been activated.” He joked using you as an example. “Adrenaline is pumping…”
Needless to say, you paid attention for the remainder of the class, even when Jensen passed you a note teasing he said yes to only five. You quickly scratched down ‘player’ before focusing back up to the board.
He and you waltzed out of class, you were about to take the path to the busses when you felt Jensen no longer beside you. You turned around to see him waiting in the veranda. You shrugged your shoulders questioning him.
He took some keys from his pocket and twirled them in his fingers. “You want a ride home?”
“Shut up!” You gasped. “You didn’t!”
“Oh yes.” He goaded.
“Well, show me!” You giddily demanded.
He chuckled as you both rushed out to the parking lot. “Let me guess.” You started. “One of those macho f-series. A Texas truck for a Texas guy.”
He stopped. “Not quite.” He pressed the keychain and a forest green Jeep Cherokee honked.
“No… way…” Your mouth hung open before squealing in delight. You ran over to it full, of excitement. “You are so lucky.” You pulled on the driver’s door. “Can I drive?”
“Ah hell no, this is my baby.” He argued, keeping the doors locked. You put on your best frown and puppy dog eyes. “Nope, your pouting isn't going to win this time.” He stood firm.
“Fine.” You scoffed and ran around to the passengers side, hopping in.
Jensen joined you on the driver’s side, starting her up and pulling out onto the road. Your smile spread from ear to ear. “You like it?” He asked.
“Gah!” You gushed. “I love it!”
“We’ll fit in pretty good in LA, I reckon.” He hopefully predicted.
“You're still serious, aren't you?” You doubted.
He thought about it for a few seconds.”Yeah. I think I am.”
You swallowed a lump in your throat. Senior year started in a rush, and real life decisions needed to be made. You knew you were behind on college applications compared to your other friends. And as long as you had dreamed about going to Cali with Jay, for a long term future plan, it didn't seem realistic or prosperous.
“It might be nice to take a year off before college.” You pondered. “You know, work, save up some money… get discovered and land a big acting gig.” You laughed.
Jensen paused. “Maybe we should start looking into apartments.”
“This soon?” You could feel your hesitation seeping through.
He shrugged his shoulders. “It couldn't hurt, getting ideas for prices and such.”
“Yeah, okay.” You agreed.
A few minutes of silence passed before he decided to tease you again. “So, how are you going to ask Alex?”
“Stop it.” You pushed against his shoulder. “You know maybe I'd ask you if you didn't have a horrid distaste for school events or a line of cheerleaders who’ve already asked.”
“We’d go as friends?” He asked.
It hurt. You knew it shouldn't. “Um, of course.”
He nodded his head back and forth. “You know, maybe we’ll go…”
“What? Jensen Ross Ackles at a school dance! I won't believe it ‘til I see it.” You joshed.
“Stop it. It's not like Prom or anything. It’s only happening in the cafeteria.” He tried to downplay your taunting.
“I technically never asked you.” You continued playing.
“Well you better get on it, I hear there's a line of cheerleaders somewhere waiting for me.” He smirked.
“Oh my gosh.” You pushed him yet again. “Wipe that grin off your face, I’m not going to ask you.”
                                                           ***
Three weeks passed and days were counting down to the Sadie Hawkins. You never did build up the courage to ask out Alex and as far as you knew Jensen had not accepted anyone’s offer. You slid into your seat and before he could hand you a stick of gum, you beat him to it. He eyed it suspiciously before taking it from you. He undid the wrapper to find a piece of cardboard with SH? written on it. He amusingly scoffed and folded it back up.
“You dressing up?” He asked.
“You know, I do think I have a pair of jeans without holes in them.” You looked down observing yours. He silently laughed shaking his shoulders. “You know, we could always ditch it too for pizza and a movie.”
“Nah let’s go, it’s senior year after all.” He slid the wrapper into his pocket.
“As friends?” You confirmed.
He stalled but agreed for your relationship’s sake. “As friends.”
                                                           ***
The night of the dance came by in a whirl. Music blasted through speakers as you danced in front of a mirror getting ready for the night. You found a light rosy pink dress with sleeves that hung off your shoulders. Your hair was up in curls. After applying the last bit of lip gloss, you popped your lips in the mirror before batting your eyelashes.
The doorbell interrupted your solo concert debut; quickly followed by your mother yelling for you. Suddenly, your palms felt sweaty, your heart raced, and butterflies filled your stomach. You held your fists tight together straining a smile in the mirror before gathering the courage to meet your ‘friend’ downstairs.
When you reached the top of the stairs, you saw Jensen nervously standing in the doorway, making small talk with your father. He had never rung the doorbell before; he was not entirely sure why he did so tonight. But when he saw you make your appearance, for a brief second he forgot how to breathe.
“Don’t you clean up nice?” You commented on the way down the stairs, noting his plaid dress shirt and khaki pants.
“You’re not so bad yourself, sweetheart.” He winked your way.
“Shut up.” You scoffed, assuming he was making fun of you.
Your mother quickly interrupted your banter, squealing from the other room, running to join you with her camera. “It’s about time this day would happen.”
“Mom.” You scolded and rolled your eyes.
“Just a few.” She begged holding up your camera.
You painfully glanced at Jensen. He shrugged his shoulders, happy to oblige.
“Act like you know each other for goodness sakes.” You mother directed.
Jensen came in closer wrapping his arm around your waist. You attempted to hinder the growing fire within.
“Sorry.” You whispered.
“Hey, it will be nice for the kids to look back on this.” He teased before getting your elbow poked in his side.
“Now, we’ve know you for a long time Mr. Ackles, but this changes our relationship now.” Your father warned.
“Oh my god, Dad.” Your cheeks turned crimson. You hastily went for the door, needing to escape. “I told you we’re just going as a group of friends.”
“Have my girl home by 11.” He instructed, ignoring your protest. “12.” You bartered, practically pulling Jensen out into the night.
“Y/N.” Your father cautioned.
“12.” You repeated finally making it to the car.
A awkward silence hung in the air as you waited for Jensen to start up the Jeep.
You tried to break the tension by joking. “So you show up to my house in slacks and it's like my parents forget entirely who you are.”
He chuckled back. “Just think if it was Alex who showed up.”
“Oh my god, I would die.” You laughed back. “Did your parents say anything?” “They’re out on business this week. But the phone call was full of… get pictures, home by 12, keep your brain in your head not your…” He let the last one slip out.
You thought about it, not knowing what he meant. “You know it's not too late to ditch out for fries, burgers, and a movie.”
“Trust me, there will be plenty of nights for that when we are together in Cali.” He assured.
“In and Out…” You drooled. “Ugh, but the whole school is going to be there tonight.”
“Hey, maybe it’s not too late to start our campaign for prom king and queen.” He teased.
“As if.” You snorted.
Jensen pulled up to the school’s parking lot, cutting the engine. You stayed, staring straight ahead, wringing your hands together.
“Ya know, more rumors are gonna spread if we stay in the car all night.” He thought as he undid his seatbelt.
You rolled your eyes and hopped out of the car. “You’re ridiculous.”
You teased each other back and forth on your way to the school cafeteria. The tables and chairs had all been pushed to one side. Ribbons, streamers, and even a disco ball were strung up on the ceiling and a DJ was sending out hits for a crowd that was already dancing. You looked around the room finding Adrianna, Mitch and a group of more friends near the punch table. Adrianna and Mitch occasionally wandered out to the dance floor, but you stayed close against the wall, chatting with your friends. Jensen impatiently waited for you to make a move or begging for some sort of signal.
Whatever lights the DJ was using, turned down to a low blue and you heard the slow strum of a guitar. “This next one is for all the ladies who are looking simply wonderful tonight, it’s Wicked Game.” His velvety voice announced over the speaker.
A bunch of girls squealed, finding their partner. You met Jensen’s eyes, wonderfully green eyes and inhaled sharply, realizing you should bee-line it for the hallway.
But Jensen cut you off before you could make an escape. “You asked me to a dance, so are we going to dance or what?”
You bit your lip, considering your response, trying to think of a quick witted response, but you were left empty. He held out his hand and you took it, letting him lead you out to the dance floor.
He hesitantly put both hands to your waist, unintentionally causing you to nervously chuckle covering up the desire that was spreading within. You followed his gesture and placed both hands at the base of his neck. The two of you swayed back and forth to the music. You didn’t notice the few staring, wondering if the schools most notorious couple was finally an actual couple. All you could focus on was his vibrant green eyes staring down at you, the cluster of freckles that dusted his face, his soft pink lips.
Without reason or knowledge of doing so, the two of you leaned in closer, moments apart from meeting each other. The both of you paused, searching for permission in the other, before finally closing the gap as lips brushed against lips. Your heart stopped and your blood went cold as you pulled back. You stared at your best friend in the whole universe and you were terrified. Terrified because you knew you didn’t want to spend eternity with anyone else. You knew that he had your heart, that your friendship as it is was over, that it would never be the same. But you were still terrified.
So you laughed. “That… that was weird.” You stuttered.
Jensen scoffed, letting go of your waist and looking down at his feet. “Yeah. Sorry. I don’t know why I did that.”
“As long as it never happens again.” You blurted out.
“Agreed.” He nodded.
You felt the sting of tears, threatening to spill through. “I um.. I’m going to go get some punch.”
“Yeah. I’ll um… I’m going to go catch up with Mitch.” He stated, who just so happened to be on the opposite side of the room.
You hardly spoke the rest of the night, leaving the dance early; catching a ride with a couple of girlfriends. You ignored your parents comments of coming home early and immediately confined yourself to your room.
Jensen Ackles had only made you cry three times before tonight. But all three times had hurt your heart.  In kindergarten he threw a rock at you on the playground. It hit you in the forehead, but you were more upset that he didn’t want to play chase with you. In second grade you drew him a picture of tulips. He tore it up and threw it away. And in seventh grade he suggested that he spend more time with some of the guys than you. It didn’t last long, but it still hurt. But tonight, tonight hurt the most. You cried clutching into your pillow. Loving what you had with Jensen, not wanting to lose it, hoping for more, but afraid it would never come to be.
                                                          ***
When Jensen realized you had left, he took off soon after. There was no reason for him to stay if you weren't there. His parents were out of town that weekend, which was a relief for him. It allowed him to be free, to be true to himself. He attempted to change channels to distract himself, but keep landing on Sleepless In Seattle. And thought he would never admit it; with his dog curled up next to him, he watched as Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks met at the top of the Empire State building, and he cried.
Now you had only made Jensen cry three times before tonight. And every time, it was because of a kiss. In kindergarten, he and you wanted to play tag. You tagged him on the cheek with a kiss. He said it was against the rules and got mad. With the tears of a toddler, he threw a rock at you. In second grade, you shared a classroom yet again. You drew a picture of tulips. With your index finger you touched your lips and then his, saying two lips before landing a small peck. He cried, embarrassed, and threw the picture away. In seventh grade, his parents were out of town again and he stayed at your house for a week. During a traditional movie and pizza night, you kissed him during The Breakfast Club. That was the night he knew; knew he wanted to be your best friend forever. More than best friends. But he didn’t know how to tell you. So instead he said he needed more guys in his life and maybe less time with you.
And tonight. There was tonight. Where he wanted it all to fall into place. Where he finally might have had the chance to tell you what he had been feeling since the seventh grade. But when you said ‘weird’. And that cut him down to the core. It felt like you would only be just friends, and never anything more.
                                                             ***

Our Side of the Story: Chap. 1 - Fangirl Wives
Tumblr media
Summary: (Y/N) and Emma agree to be interviewed by a fan writing a book about Supernatural. They tell her how they first met Jensen and Jared. Characters: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Emma Carter (OFC), Reader Pairing: Jensen x Reader, Jared x Emma (OFC) Warnings: Fluff Word Count: 2985 A/N: As always this is unbeta so all mistakes are mine. Likes, comments and reblogs are splendid and I will love you doubly for them! Enjoy! Special Note: This is a work of FICTION and should be enjoyed as such. I mean absolutely no disrespect to the Ackles family as I truly adore and admire them.
(Y/N) Ackles was sitting down with her best friend, Emma Padalecki, to do an interview together. A fan who was writing a book about Supernatural had reached out to their husbands’ managers to set up an interview. (Y/N) and Emma rarely ever did interviews, let alone together, they were both excited to share their stories of meeting their husbands. Emma had picked up her kids to take them all to her in-laws for the day, so the moms were enjoying an afternoon to just be best friends again.
“Are you nervous about this interview?” Emma asked as (Y/N) handed her a bottle of water.
“No, not really. I figure it will mostly be about the boys. You know normal stuff people ask us about.” (Y/N) said letting their dogs out so they would not bother them during the interview.
“Well, at least you and I get to do this together. I hate interviews on my own.” Emma said sitting down at the kitchen island.
(Y/N) chuckled as her phone buzzed. “Ah, speaking of the boys.” (Y/N) answered the Facetime call and saw the gorgeous face of her husband, Jensen Ackles. “Hey pretty boy, how’s filming today?”
Jensen rolled his eyes causing (Y/N) to laugh. “Between Speight being the director and Jared goofing off I’m about done.”
(Y/N) sat next to Emma who looked to Jensen, “Is Jared nearby?” Jensen smiled wickedly and nodded.
Next the girls saw Jared Padalecki’s face come on the screen next to Jensen’s. “Hey baby.”
Emma gave him a stern look. “Don’t ‘hey baby’ me, Jared Padalecki. Stop goofing off and causing a headache for Jensen.” Jared put his head down as Jensen was chuckling.
“Yes ma’am. Isn’t y’all interview soon?” He asked with a pout.
The girls nodded, “Yeah, Rachel should be here soon.” (Y/N) answered.
“Well, I just wanted to call before your interview. Rachel is great and you both will love talking to her. It will be the easiest interview of your lives. We need to get back to filming. I love you, Gorgeous.” Jensen gave her a breathtaking smile
(Y/N) felt her cheeks heat up, “I love you too, Pretty Boy.” They all said goodbye just in time to hear the doorbell.
“You must be Rachel, please come in. I’m (Y/N) and this is Emma.” (Y/N) said as she opened the door.
The young woman in her mid-twenties walked in wide eyed. “It’s nice to meet you both. Thank you for agreeing to this interview for my book.”
Emma showed her into the living room as (Y/N) grabbed a few snacks and drinks for them. Rachel was adorable petite woman with long fiery red hair and ice blue eyes. “Mrs. Ackles your home looks beautiful.”
(Y/N) smiled, “Thank you, but please call us (Y/N) and Emma. No need to be formal we are all a part of the same family.”
Rachel chuckled while nodding. “Okay, I can do that. I only have a couple of questions but one of them will be a lengthy answer or at least it was for Jensen and Jared when they answered it.”
(Y/N) and Emma looked to one another. “Okay then, well let’s get this party started,” Emma said as Rachel set up her phone to record the interview and took out a notebook to take notes.
Rachel sat in a chair next to (Y/N) and Emma on the couch. She pressed record on her phone. “My first question, I just want to know more about your lives before Jensen and Jared and your friendship.” The girls smiled looking to one another.
“I grew up in a divorced family and moved with my mom to a suburb south of St. Louis in the sixth grade. I am the oldest child of three and I never really was close to my family. I met (Y/N) in seventh grade in gym class. We both loved the same band and instantly became friends. (Y/N)’s mom and she became my family.” (Y/N) patted Emma’s knee as she continued. “(Y/N) and I definitely had some rocky moments especially in high school, but it wasn’t until we were roommates in college that we truly became like sisters.”
(Y/N) nodded, “That is so true. Though we did not expect to be married to best friends and living next door to one another with our own kids growing up as friends.” Emma started laughing.
“What about you (Y/N)? What was your family life like?” Rachel asked.
(Y/N) felt slightly bashful talking about her family. “I grew up in the closest thing to a traditional family you could have. There were definitely some dark areas concerning my father which resulted in my depression and self-harming.” (Y/N) rarely talked about her depression unless she was doing something for Jared’s Always Keep Fighting campaign.
“I am the only child for my parents and they divorced when I was a freshman in high school. Emma helped me a lot during that point when we were not arguing over boys.” Emma and Rachel both laughed. “Where high school was a pain, we probably enjoyed college a little too much. We were definitely not angels, but we always took care of each other.”
Rachel adjusted herself in the chair, “What did you both study in college?” she asked.
“Well, I have my B.A. in Digital Media Marketing from Northwestern University and I freelance for many companies when I’m not playing ring leader to three kids or traveling with Jared.” Emma answered taking a drink.
Rachel nodded taking some notes as (Y/N) answered, “I have my M.A. in English Literature from Northwestern University. When I am not doting over our daughter or traveling with Jensen I have been working on a few children’s books and my own novel.”
“How did you both become fans of Supernatural?” Rachel asked as she wrote a few notes down.
“We have always been WB/CW fans. We started watching Gilmore Girls together and I became a huge fan of Jared’s. I started following Jared’s career from there making friends online and even help run a fan website. (Y/N) has been a fan of Jensen’s for a little longer.”
(Y/N) smiled fondly remembering when she first saw him on TV, “Well, I will definitely be showing the age difference between Jensen and I with this. When I was in fifth grade, my mom and I were in a bad car accident. I ended up breaking my leg, arm and collarbone. I was out of school for the rest of the year so while I was at home I would watch daytime tv. I saw Jensen on Days of Our Lives and fell for him instantly. Like Emma I followed Jensen’s career. We would watch Gilmore Girls, Dark Angel, Dawson’s Creek and Smallville together.”
“We would go see Jared’s movies together and the we found out they were starring together in a new show called Supernatural. We were both so excited that they were both on the same show and after seeing the pilot we were both hooked.” Emma chuckled.
Rachel nodded in agreement. “I love that you both are fans even to this day. How does that work now as their wives?”
(Y/N) thought about for a moment before answering. “Really, for me, it’s no different except Jensen is there to make fun of me for fangirling. For the most part I have always viewed Jensen as a normal guy but there are moments when I’ll be watching the show and I will fangirl about him.” Emma nodded in agreement.
The girls took a moment to order some lunch and refill their drinks before Rachel went on with her interview. “My next question is the same one I asked Jensen and Jared. Between the two of them it took over an hour to answer this question.”
(Y/N) and Emma looked at each other in shock. “Oh boy, that scares me.” (Y/N) said as Emma nodded in agreement.
“I want to know how two best friends and fans of Supernatural ended up meeting, dating and marrying the stars of the show. You both are living ever fangirl’s fantasy.” They all laughed for a moment.
“You’re right, this will take a long time to answer. We’ll give it a shot though.” Emma said looking to (Y/N) to start.
Chicago, Illinois – November 2007
“I can’t believe we’re here!” Emma said excitedly. They both started jumping up and down enthusiastically not caring who was staring at them.
“Okay, okay let’s look over the panel schedule again and make sure we don’t miss any. We agree that Supernatural panels are top priority.” Emma nodded in agreement.
They looked over the schedule seeing that the only overlap was a Smallville panel with Michael Rosenbaum overlapped with Jared’s panel. “Damn, well I guess Michael Rosenbaum will have to wait until next year maybe.” (Y/N) said.
Emma shook her head, “You should good to the Rosenbaum panel. It will end before Jensen and Jared’s panel and you can catch the last of Jared’s panel with me. I will try and save you a seat.”
(Y/N) thought about it for a moment. “As long as you are okay with it then okay. Well let’s get this day started.” The girls walked off arm in arm together.
By midafternoon (Y/N) and Emma’s stomachs hurt from laughing so much. Their backpacks were also filled with a ton of merchandise. As Emma went to Jared’s panel, (Y/N) had a few minutes before Michael Rosenbaum’s panel started. She went to a vending machine to grab a bottle of water. When she turned back around she was staring into the brilliant green eyes of Jensen Ackles.
“Holy crap.” She said holding her chest.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” His low, husky voice made her skin heat up.
“It’s okay, I wasn’t expecting anyone behind me.” (Y/N) stepped out of the way so he could get his drink. She stood for a split second before blurting out, “I just want to say that I love your show. You’re an amazing actor.”
Jensen had grabbed a bottle of Coke. “Thank you, I appreciate it. What’s your name?”
(Y/N) smiled up at him, “(Y/N) (Y/L/N).”
He gave her his traditional smirk as he took a drink. “Why aren’t you at Jared’s panel right now?”
(Y/N) chuckled lightly, “I’m going to the Michael Rosenbaum panel and then I’m meeting my best friend for you and Jared’s panel. I love Smallville and especially Michael.”
Jensen was now laughing as they walked towards the panel room. (Y/N) noticed a large bald man walking behind them and Jensen had put on a ballcap. (Y/N) chuckled, “You know that doesn’t help any, right? Pretty boy like you gets recognized hat or no hat.”
Jensen looked over at her with a smile, “So, I’m pretty?” (Y/N) blushed slightly but there was something in his tone that made her think he was flirting.
She decided to flirt right back, “Have you seen yourself? Yeah, you’re definitely a pretty boy.”
He chuckled as they stopped in front of the room. “Well, I think this is your room. I hope you enjoy Michael’s panel.”
(Y/N) bit her lower lip, “Would it be okay if I took a picture with you?” she asked.
“Absolutely! Clif, would you take the picture for us?” The tall man following him grabbed (Y/N)’s new iPhone. Jensen pulled her into his arms wrapping his arms around her shoulders as she wrapped hers around his narrow waist. Clif snapped the picture handing the phone back to (Y/N).
“Thank you, one more thing.” Jensen smiled down at her.
(Y/N) went into her bag and pulled out an envelope. “My best friend and I each wrote you and Jared letters if by chance we would happen to meet you. Being that I may never have this chance again I would love for you to have it.”
She handed the letter to him and he gave her the biggest smile that melted her heart. “Thank you, sweetheart. I will definitely read it. If you see Clif here when you’re with your friend, then have her give her letter to him. He’ll make sure Jared gets it.” Jensen pulled her into a hug and she closed her eyes trying to memorize the whole moment.
“Hope you have a great panel, Jensen.” He nodded as he waved goodbye and (Y/N) watched him walk away. She let out the long breath she had been holding and walked into Michael Rosenbaum’s panel.
Emma was able to save (Y/N) a seat. “I have something to show you.” She whispered as she pulled out her phone. She pulled up the picture of her and Jensen and showed Emma who let out a squeak luckily there was a lot of chatter going on that no one heard her except (Y/N).
“You met Jensen Ackles?” (Y/N) nodded.
“I will tell you all about it after their panel.” She said as Emma nodded looking back up at Jared on stage.
The crowd went wild when Jensen came out on stage wearing a Supernatural shirt with Jared’s face all over it. The girls were laughing at their bickering and joking around.
“So, before we take some fan questions, I have a question I would like to answer for a special fan I met a little bit ago.” Jensen said.
(Y/N) looked at Emma who whispered, “You gave him your letter?” she asked as (Y/N) nodded.
Jensen pulled out (Y/N)’s letter to read her question, “I’m not going to point her out because she knows who she is.” She watched as Jensen scanned the crowd. Emma and she were sitting off to the right side of the stage about five rows back. Jensen smiled as he spotted her, and she gave him a little wave.
“She asks, ‘What is my favorite thing about conventions?” he paused for a moment before answering. “We have only done a few, but I have to say it is meeting the fans. I’m a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but our fans are the best and they always make me feel welcomed. The fan who I met earlier was amazing. She was totally chilled, and we chatted like we were friends. She asked for a picture and gave me this beautiful letter. I was able to give her a hug and thank her for being a fan. It’s those moments that I love the most. Making a true connection with fans.”
(Y/N) was smiling so much her cheeks hurt. He glanced back over to her and winked before they continued onto other fan questions. As the panel ended, the girls were gathering their things when her phone buzzed.
“Weird, it’s a text from a number I don’t know.” Emma looked over her shoulder as she pulled up the message.
“Hey, it’s Jensen. Thanks for leaving your phone number on your letter. Stay behind after the panel and Clif will come by. Talk to you soon.” Emma squealed as she slapped her shoulder.
“Ow, okay let’s wait until we see Clif. He is probably going to come get your letter for Jared. Jensen said he would give it to him.” Emma quickly grabbed the letter from her bag as (Y/N) looked around for Clif. Instead of spotting Clif, she spotted Jensen and Jared walking in with Clif right behind them. Emma had not spotted them yet. “Emma, do not freak out. Okay?” Emma nodded and (Y/N) turned her around slowly.
“Holy crap.” She said as Jensen and Jared started laughing stopping in front of them.
“That’s what she said when we met.” Jensen said pointing to (Y/N).
“We’ve been friends for far too long.” (Y/N) said putting her arm around her stunned friend. “My shocked friend here is Emma.”
Jared stuck out his hand and shook hers. “Hey Emma, how did you like the panels today?”
“I-I loved them. My stomach is still hurting from laughing so much.” Jared and Jensen both chuckled.
“Well, I’m glad we were entertaining. Jensen tells me you have a letter for me and instead of Clif getting it I wanted to come get it myself.” Emma giggled as she handed him her letter. “Thank you, I love fan letters. Hey, you guys want a picture?” Jared asked as Emma nodded eagerly.
(Y/N) went to grab her phone when Jensen stopped her, “We can use mine and I will send it to you.” She nodded and walked back towards the group. She felt Jensen’s hand on the small of her back as they all walked over towards the stage.
They both were pulled into their favorite actor’s arms for the picture. Then Clif took one of Emma and Jared as Jensen stepped aside (Y/N).
“So, now that you have my number you think it would be okay if I texted you again?” he asked as (Y/N) looked up at him a little surprised.
“I supposed so. Do you honestly think I would say no?” She said smirking.
Jensen chuckled, “I never assume, but I’m glad we can talk some more. You’re really…” Jensen was trying to think of the word.
“Crazy? Fanatic?” she said.
He laughed, “No, you’re really cool and interesting. It’s weird, I just feel comfortable around you.”
(Y/N) nodded knowing what he meant, “I feel the same way. Text me anytime, I’m usually up studying anyway.”
Jensen nodded as Clif waved him over. “Looks like I have to go but I will text you soon.”
She threw her arms around his neck hugging him. He held her close putting his face in the crook of her neck. “Have a safe trip back to Vancouver.” She said as he pulled away from her.
“Talk to you later, (Y/N).” He turned walking with Clif and Jared who was waving goodbye to Emma.
“Goodbye Jensen.” She whispered as Emma came over next to her.
“Best day ever, (Y/N).” She smiled nodding excitedly with her.

Part 2 - Too Good At Acting
Enjoy! Feedback is appreciated!
“Hey, guys! J2 here - so we have an exciting surprise thanks to Misha!” Jared practically gushed as Jensen rolled his eyes behind him, but grinned as big Texas.
“Yeah, so, thank you, Misha, for this awesome surprise!” Jensen grinned as Jared nodded, just as the sound of a Skype call came from one of their laptops. Turning towards each other, they rushed towards the couch with Jared’s phone facing them, to get their reactions.
Jensen reached forward, clicking the green phone to answer the call, a large stupid grin on both of their faces just as the call was answered and... Y/N. Freaking. L/N.
“Oh my god, this wasn’t a prank...” Jared and Jensen both sighed, as you grinned into the small phone camera, a pair of aviators resting against the bridge of your nose as you gave a small wave.
“Hi! Ah, I can’t believe I’m talking to you guys!” You gushed as you grinned, the phones’ camera jumping lightly as you walked. The boys sat there stunned, while their lips stayed slightly parted.
“Hey! Hi!” Both of them grinned widely as you laughed, shaking your head lightly as you looked over, waving off screen as someone yelled a, “hi!” You turned your attention back towards the boys.
“I’ve heard so much about you both from Misha.” You laughed as they chuckled, Jared rubbing the back of his neck as Jensen smirked with a simple nod.
“We’ve heard so much about you, but honestly we knew about you from those new movies you just did!” Jensen grinned, Jared simply nodding behind him as you laughed shaking your head slightly.
“Well, I’m so happy you both liked my acting! It’s kind of funny actually, you both were my main inspiration to get started with acting and to hear that I’m one of your favorite actors.” You laughed while shaking your head, biting your lip gently.
“Liked? Hell, we loved it, Y/N! You were amazing, and that’s honestly an honor for the two of us, by the way, I wanted to ask you what you’re going to act in next?” Jared asked, a large smile pulling at his lips as Jensen nodded, joining in on the questioning look.
You bit your bottom lip, as your eyes looked around causing them to arch a brow, slightly confuse and worry forming on their faces as you grinned before making the screen go black.
“Y/N?!” They shouted as they went to double check the connection, only for the trailer’s door to throw open causing the two of them to snap their heads towards the door, only for their mouths to fall open.
“Hello, boys,” you grinned as you leaned against the doorway, a smirk pulling at your lips as they shot up from the couch while giving a small shout as they moved over, wrapping their arms each around your neck.
Y/N, what the hell?” Jensen couldn’t help but grin as he and Jared both pulled back, keeping their hands on your shoulder. You couldn’t keep the smile off your face as you reached into your bag, pulling out a... A script?
“Guess who’s playing the Crowley’s daughter..” You sucked your lip between your teeth, as they stood there with their mouths hung open, only for them to laugh and shout happily as we all laughed.
“You’re going to play Agony?! Oh my god, that’s awesome!” Jared laughed, grinning as Jensen clapped my shoulder making me grin.
“Yeah, and now, I get to work with my favorite actors, along with my best friend and you guys get to act with your favorite actress!” You smiled when another pair of arms wrapped around your waist, while a pair of lips pressed against your neck.
“Oh, and this is my boyfriend, Alexander.” You smiled while leaning back against Alex’s chest and grinning.
“Alexander..?” Both of the boys said in unison, causing the dark haired boy to smile up at them while hugging you tighter, his lips connecting with your crown as Jared and Jensen looked at each other, a small frown as they eyed the boy behind you.
“Ah, crap..” They both sighed, turning back to each other with a frown as Alex and you grinned at each other happily.

_____
“Ackles,” said a tall guy when you got to the restaurant that night. He gave you a smile as you took a seat at the table, a woman sitting next to him. “You must be Y/N. I’m Jared.”
“I’m Gen,” said the woman, giving you a friendly smile.
“Hi,” you said, looking at them both. “You two seem familiar.”
“We did Supernatural with Jensen,” said Jared. “I was on all three seasons with him. Gen joined the last before I locked that down.”
“These losers are married,” teased Jensen. “At least I did not have to third wheel again.”
“So what’s it like having your girlfriend boss you around all day?” said Jared with a smile.
“Oh you wish you were in my position, buddy,” said Jensen.
“You will learn very quickly these two turn into toddlers around each other,” said Gen. “They’d be joined at the hip if they could be.”
“I’m going to take a wild guess and say Jared’s the friend Jensen does his check in thing with?” you asked.
“You wouldn’t be wrong,” chuckled Jared. He glanced at Jensen and you looked down, feeling a foot tap your own. You lifted your head and saw Jared giving you a smile. “It’s not a secret or anything. I could do worse for a brother.”
“Aw,” said Jensen, Jared rolling his eyes.
“He’s very much a loser if you haven’t realized that yet,” said Jared.
“Losers are cooler than people think,” you said.
“Told you I liked this girl,” said Jared as the waiter came back over.
Fifteen minutes later you had your food and Gen was already inviting you to a girls night dinner. You watched Jensen interact with his friends, smiling when you saw how he was with Jared. There was something sweet about it. If you didn’t know better, you would have thought they were real brothers. You liked that he had a friend like that, especially in the acting industry when people were known for throwing each under the bus.
“Y/N, wanna go to the bathroom with me?” asked Gen.
“Sure,” you said, leaving your napkin on your seat as you went back with her. She used the restroom for a moment while you waited by the sink, smiling when she came out.
“So it’s been awhile since Jensen’s had a girlfriend I’ve heard. I’ve never seen him even go on a date,” she said.
“He said he’s been on a break from them for a while,” you said. She dried off her hands and hummed.
“You must be special then,” she said. You swallowed and she smiled. “Listen. He deserves to be happy and so do you. You two seem to like each other so I’m all for it. Those two boys are going to be besties for life so we’ll probably see a lot of each other.”
“I’ve barely been dating him. I don’t know…” you shrugged. She smiled and nodded. “I’m just enjoying it right now.”
“Probably the smart move,” she said, fixing her hair in the mirror. You pursed your lips and looked at your own reflection. Jensen’s hat was backwards on your head, hiding the flyaways you had from the rollercoasters that afternoon. You touched the end of your side braid. You weren’t even wearing any makeup. “You do realize he’s been drooling over you since the second you walked in the door, right?”
“Yeah but I mean I’m not an idiot. Guys like it when we look pretty and dress up,” you said.
“They also like it when we wear their stuff,” she said. “Relax. This was totally last minute anyways. I was literally in my underwear when I met Jared for the first time. I was mortified.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. It was our first scene together. He was late that day so he showed up on set and I was like awesome, let’s meet the cute guy when I’m half naked,” she said.
“I was kinda mad that our original lead actor dropped out and they had an emergency casting call. But Jensen was late to it. I didn’t know what he looked like. I went to take a walk around the block to relax and this guy kind of grabbed me and started bothering me. Jensen came out of nowhere and got me out of there while he dealt with the guy. Ten minutes later I find out he’s the guy that’s supposed to be auditioning in my movie.”
“Oh wow. I assumed you just met on set,” she said.
“No. He found out who I was the next day,” you said. “He asked me out the night before.”
“He’s the kind of guy that does that sort of thing, helps people I mean,” she said.
“I’m starting to get that,” you said.
“Maybe you help him,” she said. You raised an eyebrow and she shrugged. “Like I said. I’ve never seen him on a date. I don’t think Jared has either.”
“I just like him,” you said.
“Good,” she said, grabbing your hand. “Come on and split some dessert with me. I want to see that boy blush over you more.”
“I like her,” you said to Jared as you walked out of a bar later that night, Gen walking ahead with Jensen, the two of them chatting about you if you had to guess. “She’s cute.”
“Yes, she is. Jensen mentioned you were pretty cute too,” said Jared. “He’s been talking about you for weeks now. I was wondering when we’d get to meet.”
“Work keeps me pretty busy,” you said.
“I love the book by the way,” he said. “Jensen was bouncing off the freaking wall when he got the part. You have no idea how happy that made him.”
“He was very good. He got the part all on his own,” you said. “He’s a good actor.”
“He is. Any guy our age would kill to get to play opposite Ethan Y/L/N,” said Jared. “He says that’s nothing compared to you though.”
“What do you mean?”
“He likes the atmosphere you create on set,” said Jared. “He’s making me jealous almost. I’d love a director that cares more about the people making something than profits and marketing.”
“If I don’t screw this up and end up directing more, come look me up. Jensen’s friends are more than welcome on my sets,” you said.
“I’ll take you up on that. I think you’re too hard on yourself. You’ll do fine with it,” said Jared.
“How would you know that? We just met after all.”
“Do you know why Jensen checks in on me everyday?” he asked, slowing his walk. “He worries about me. Sometimes I listen to the crap in my head too much. I had a rough go of it once. He was there for me. He’s still there for me. It doesn’t matter where or when. I can always go knock on his door and he’s there.”
“It’s like I keep telling him. People aren’t sweet like him,” you said as you looked ahead.
“They are. He’s just our version of it,” he said. “I’m willing to share if you are.”
“You can always come knock on his door, Jared. Even if I’m there,” you said. “I’m not stealing him away or anything.”
“Yet you don’t think people are as sweet as him,” he laughed. “You’re funny, Y/L/N.”
He slowed as you saw Jensen and Gen hanging out by the door of an apartment building, Jared leaning over to you.
“He doesn’t always say it but you’ll figure it out soon enough,” said Jared. “He thinks you’re sweet too.”
“Goodnight Jared,” you said as he started to walk again, a smirk crossing his lips.
“Goodnight Y/N. We’ll have to have you guys over for dinner sometime when you’re not so insanely busy,” said Jared.
“We will take you up on that,” said Jensen, throwing an arm over your shoulders. “Night guys.”
He spun the two of you around before you kept going down the block, Jared laughing in the distance.
“Your friends are nice,” you said.
“They like you,” he said. He dropped his arm and took your hand in his instead, swinging it gently as you headed back towards his car. “I’m glad they like you.”
“They care about you.”
“Yes, they do,” he said. “Still. It’s hard being the tag along sometimes.”
“Jensen. I don’t think either one of them has ever considered you a tag along,” you said. “They want you to be happy.”
“I am,” he said. He kissed you slowly, smiling when he moved back. “Promise.”
“Me too,” you said.
“Anywhere else you’d like to go tonight, pretty girl?” he asked.
“I am already up way past my bedtime,” you said, leaning your head on his shoulder. “Do you want to sleepover tonight?”
“Yeah,” he said quietly. “You’re very cuddly when you sleep.”
“Sorry,” you said, glad it was dark out and your blush was hidden. He leaned over and brushed his lips against your ear.
“I kinda really like it,” he whispered. You smiled, Jensen spinning you around in a circle until you giggled. “Oh, there’s another thing I like.”
“What else do you like?” you asked.
“Everything,” he said.
“Ah. That narrows it down,” you said.
“Not a word of a lie,” he said as you let out a small yawn. “Come on. Let’s get you in bed. We have work bright and early.”
“Fuck,” you said, bottling up out of bed the next morning. You slammed your alarm clock, four snoozes in and dashed out of bed, running into the bathroom as Jensen yawned and sat up.
“Morning,” he said with a stretch, watching you run around your bedroom. You slammed the door shut to the bathroom and exited not twenty seconds later in new clothes. “I love a girl that don’t mess around in the morning.”
“I am so late,” you said, grabbing a hair tie from your dresser. You threw it back in a messy pony, Jensen tossing his hat from the floor at you. “Thanks.”
You tugged it on and he rolled out of bed, moving a little slow before he wandered into your bathroom and exited.
“Y/N, it’s like five am,” he yawned.
“I have to review my shots for the day and I have a budget meeting and a stunt review all before eight,” you said, pausing as you grabbed your backpack. “Uh you can totally sleep in. Just lock up after yourself.”
“Nah, it’s cool. I’ll come in early, crash in my trailer for a few,” he said. “Maybe have breakfast with my smokin’ hot director.”
“Does this look smokin’ hot?” you said, pointing down at yourself.
“Well, you’re wearing my hat and my texas t shirt. Yeah, pretty damn hot right now, girl,” he said. You hadn’t even realized you’d grabbed his shirt, just thought it was a big baggy one you used for washing your car or stuff around the house.
“Oh,” you said, glancing at him, bare chested as he pulled on his jeans. “I didn’t mean to take your shirt.”
“Please do,” he smirked. “I got a sweatshirt in my car. It’s fine.”
“I didn’t remember you taking off your shirt last night,” you said. He nodded and crossed his arms over his chest.
“I got hot under the covers,” he said, glancing away.
“Sorry,” you said when you kept staring at him.
“Not like you haven’t seen me without a shirt on before,” he said.
“You’re just...really good looking,” you said, tugging on the bottom of your shirt.
“You can change in front of me if you want. I mean, I can keep it in my pants,” he said.
“It’s not…” you said, Jensen looking you up and down. “People like you aren’t with people like me.”
“I don’t know if it was this ex or what but this twisted sense of self-image or worth or whatever you have going on, you should tell it to shove it cause you are damn gorgeous. You care about people. The world ain’t seeing what you think it is,” he said.
You swallowed and stared at him, Jensen dropping his arms to his sides. You fixed the backpack onto your shoulders before you picked up your phone from your nightstand.
“Y/N,” said Jensen, walking around to your side of the bed, resting a hand on your shoulder.
“I have to relearn those things, Jensen. It’s gonna take time for me to do that,” you said.
“Let me help you do that,” he said.
“Why?” you asked, spinning around.
“Because I care about you,” he said quietly.
“Yeah but why do you care about me,” you asked.
“I don’t know. I just do. It kinda scares me to be honest,” he said.
“Why, cause you’re attracted to a freak?” you asked. He scowled and turned you around, planting a harsh kiss on your lips. His hands cupped your cheeks when he pulled back and you felt like his green eyes were staring right through you.
“Because I don’t know what this is. It feels familiar but it’s not and that’s scary. I hate that you think that way about yourself and everyday I want to go and kick this ex-boyfriend’s ass more and more. He sounds worse than just a bad ex, Y/N. You’re not a freak. You’re someone I care about,” he said. “It doesn’t seem like you care about you all that much which really sucks cause she’s a pretty special girl that deserves it.”
You didn’t know what to say, not with the way he was looking at you.
Crying when you were already late for the day seemed like the worst possible thing to do but that’s what your body decided for you. Jensen wrapped his arms around your shoulders, kissing your temple and shushing you.
“I’m late,” you sniffled. “I gotta go.”
“Not happening.”
“I’m gonna get in trouble again and I already used up a favor pushing the stunt back before,” you mumbled. “They’re gonna fire me off my own movie.”
“First off, no, they won’t. Second, you need to take a hot minute for yourself and lay back down in bed for another few hours. Filming doesn’t start until eight so we have time. Third, you’re gonna blame this on me,” he said. You tilted your head up, Jensen already shaking his. “I called you freaking out about the pressure and you came over to calm me down. That’s what we say when someone asks.”
“Jensen, no. You can’t do that,” you said. “You’ll get labeled as something you’re not and big gigs could take years to come your way again.”
“Well who gives a fuck about big gigs. I want my girlfriend to be okay right now. That’s what I want,” he said.
“Jensen,” you said.
“No. It’s like I said, you don’t have to tell me a damn thing you don’t want to. But I’m not gonna watch you bully yourself. I won’t. So I’ll help you kick that thing’s ass inside your head that’s making you feel that way. Please. Lay back down, I’ll text your dad, ask him to tell the story that you were reaming me out a new one to get me to keep working and at seven, we’ll wake up and head to work, alright?”
“You’re not gonna give me a choice,” you said, shutting your eyes.
“You always have a choice. Just make this one right now. Please,” he said.
“Fine but-”
“No buts except you get yours back in that bed for more sleep,” he said. You peeled open your eyes, Jensen with a worried stare looking back. “Tonight after work, we’ll talk and figure out a good way to get through this, alright?”
“I’m not something to fix,” you mumbled, sliding your backpack off.
“I never said you were broken,” he said softly. You looked over at him, giving him a small smile before you slipped under the covers. He left the room for a minute and you kicked off your jeans, Jensen dropping his own when he came back in. He crawled underneath and pulled you into his side, moving the blankets around you. “Relax, honey. It’ll be okay. I promise.”

The Padackles Link-Ch. 16
Chapter 15
A/N: I have never watch either movie mentioned so I have no idea if my portrayal is correct. Google helped by explaining the plots.
After I change JJ, I head downstairs to prepare her lunch only to be surprised to find Jensen in the kitchen readying a bottle. He already picked a jar of food and has it sitting on the table with a small spoon.
I lower his daughter into the high chair, making sure she is buckled in tightly before I reach for the jellied meal.Thankfully, he chose one of the more appetizing ones so I knew JJ will be no trouble to feed.
I go about scooping bite-sized amounts and feeding her. Jensen steps over, sitting the bottle on the table beside me.
“You know, I'm home now so I could feed her if you wanted to take some time to yourself,” he tells me.
“And miss this precious face? Nah, I'm good. I enjoy spending time with her,” I tell him just as JJ blows a carrot-flavored raspberry toward the two of us, covering my hand and wrist. “Plus orange spit up is good for the skin. Ain’t that right, miss messy?”
Jensen laughs and leans down kissing the top of her head. “Well, I will clean her up after she's finished Ok?” he says, handing me a towel to wipe off with.
“Yea, okay,” I say, looking at the toddler. “You hear that JJ? Daddy is gonna clean you up after. So make a big mess. Gotta break him in.”
Jensen's mock look of horror causes me to giggle as he then places his hand on my shoulder and leans down to my ear and whispers, “Traitor. I thought we were in this together.”
The feel of his warm breath on the shell of my ear sends shocks down my spine and I shiver. What is this man, this married man, doing to me? How has being with him affect how I react to him? The warmth of his touch, the sound of his voice, the mere presence of him has my body acting all kinds of crazy.
What had transpired just an hour before was nothing more than sex, right? Just two lonely people using each other to feel close. I'm sure he was just missing his wife, my friend, and just needed to feel close to somebody. And as for me, well I really don't have an explanation for it. Yes, I have always thought Jensen Ackles was an attractive man. Who doesn't? If you ever spent time with him and see how he protects and cares for not only his family, but his friends, you can't help but to be attracted. Not to just his good looks, but his fierce need to tend to those he cares for. Jensen Ackles was a nurtured and those he loves reap the benefits.
While Jensen was cleaning the mess that was his daughter after lunch, I went about tidying the kitchen. Wiping the high chair down, placing empty baby food jar in the recycling bin and rinsing the spoon and bottle in the sink.
As I reach to turn the water off, though, all hell breaks loose. Instead of the water flow simply shutting off, the knob breaks and, water starts spewing everywhere, drenching me, the counter and the floor. “Jay!” I hear his hurried footsteps on the stairs as soon as I yell his name.
“What?! What is--" his inquiry is cut short when he catches sight of me. Water dripping down my face, my hair and t-shirt drenched. He barks out a laugh and I just scowl at him. “Drea, you know we have actual showers upstairs,” he chuckles.
I put my hands on my hips and smirked at him. “Smartass! The fucking faucet broke.”
“I see that,” he says, smiling at me. “Go on and change. JJ’s in her crib playing and I'll take care of this,” he motions to the river that used to be his kitchen.
I walk by him and punch his shoulder. He grabs my wrist and pulls me against him. “Baby, if you wanted to get wet I would've helped,” he whispers and winks down at me. His comment catches me off guard and I don't realize his implication until his lips touch mine. I revel in the feeling of our mouths connected and freely open mine when his tongue swipes across my bottom lip.
He moans and pulls away. “I gotta get the water turned off before we float down the street,” his says, the tone of voice giving away his reluctance to stop kissing me.
I walk upstairs on pure automation. Walking into my room, the bed sheets rumbled, the duvet hanging halfway off just reminds me once again that today my life has changed. Today, I had sex with a man who is married to my friend. I should feel repulsed at myself. I should regret falling into bed with him. But I can’t. As much as I try, I can’t feel remorse; all I feel is alive. Almost four years after losing my husband at the ripe young age of 22, I feel renewed. I feel like myself again, Audrea Marianne Murphy.
I smile as I pull the shirt over my head, seeing myself in the mirror. My breasts and chest is covered in bites and marks. I can faintly make out finger shaped bruises on my hips where Jensen had held onto me as he pumped himself into my body. The thought of those actions make my panties damp. Jensen, I think to myself. What is he to me now? Before, I considered him a friend. My savior all those years ago when he was kind enough to stop on the side of the highway to help me with my car troubles. I think back to those days and chuckle. I was in such a state of anxiety and anger that I was downright crabby to him at first. He could have just as easily turned around and left me to fend for myself. Pulling on a clean, dry shirt I laugh out loud at the memory of thinking I was going to walk the 7 miles to the next town in the sweltering Texas heat.  I silently think whoever is upstairs looking out for me for sending Jensen to save me.
After checking on JJ and seeing her happily babbling in her crib, apparently having a conversation with the pink bunny tucked into the corner, I make my way back downstairs to check on the water-logged kitchen. I am stopped in my tracks as soon as I enter the room. Laying in the floor, his torso hidden under the sink, twisting the connection nuts loose is Jensen. A shirtless Jensen. As he works to loosen the hardware the muscles in his stomach clenches causing all kinds of impure thoughts to flow through my mind. I whimper at them and he glances at me, smiling.
“Like what you see?” he winks.
“Eh, plumber’s crack isn’t a big turn-on for me,” I tell him, squatting down beside his legs and peering in.
“Drea, you are one,”he pauses to tug on the tightened bolt, “sassy lady. You know that?”
“I’m just me. You either love me or hate me.” I laugh, straightening myself as he crawls out and sits up.
“Is that right?” He quirks an eyebrow at me and I realize what I said. I can’t help the blush I feel crawl up my neck and onto my cheeks.
“Oh god!” I exclaim, face-palming myself.”I just have verbal diarrhea around you. Forget I said that, huh?”
He pushes off the floor and stands up, pulling me into his arms. “You’re so cute when you get embarrassed. I remember the first time we met, you did the same thing. It’s adorable.”
I relish in his embrace. Those muscular arms holding me, caging my body in to his. I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his chest. We stand there for a few minutes, just holding one another. I know this isn’t going to last. Dani will be home tomorrow but I’m going to savor it while I can.
He loosens his grip and kisses the top of my head. “I have to run to the hardware store and get a new faucet. Will you be okay while I’m gone?”
“God, Jay! It’s not like I’ve been living here for the last week by myself, taking care of the house and your daughter,” I laugh, looking up at him “I think I can manage it for an hour.”
“Well, excuse me for being a gentleman and asking,” he jokes playfully.
“Thank you for being a gentleman then,” I say, standing my tiptoes and kissing him. He deepens the kiss by slipping his tongue between my parted lips. God, this man can kiss!
He pulls away and looks at me. “Wanna watch a movie tonight after we put JJ down?”
“Sure,” I say. “What did you have in mind? I’ve watched more Disney this week than I have in all my life.” I laugh and he joins in.
“So Lion King is out?” he asked me, facetiously.
“Uh, yea.”
“I’ll run by the video store and see what’s new, okay?”
Sounds like a plan. Might want to get some popcorn too,” I tell him. I had noticed the last time I ate popcorn as a late night snack the box was empty. “Extra butter,” I inform him. “Popcorn isn’t popcorn without butter oozing out of it.”
“I agree with you there!”
He goes to get ready and heads out the door while I am once again changing JJ’s diaper. “You’ll be one year old soon, missy. You need to learn to use the bathroom like everyone else.” JJ giggles at me and smiles that toothy grin that I just adore. “Don’t be trying to use your cuteness on me, young lady. It won’t work.” I laugh as I nuzzle my nose into her cheek.
"Mah-ma.”
That one word, two syllables makes me freeze in my spot. Sure, JJ has said it a few times before but that was when Dani was here. Was she calling me Mama? Was me taking care of her while Dani was away confusing her little mind?
"No JJ,” I softly correct her. “I’m not Mama. I’m Drea. Dray-ah.”
“Mah-ma,” JJ giggles. “Mah-ma! Mah-ma! Mah-ma!” She keep chanting the word as I pick her up and carry her to the play pen I had set up in the front room. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want the little girl to stay confused or have Dani heartbroken that her daughter is calling someone else Mama. I decide just to wait and ask Jensen what I should do when he returns from his errand and finishes replacing the kitchen faucet.
An hour later, I’m sitting in the chair watching television when I hear Jensen return. He walks through, looks at his daughter and then me and asks, “How’s two of my favorite ladies?”
“We’re fine,” I answer him nonchalantly, watching JJ turn her head when she hears her father’s voice. I don’t see the look he throws my way as I return my attention back to whatever is playing on the screen. Jensen lays a plastic bag on the end of the sofa and continues on to the kitchen. “I got a couple of movies. I thought I’d let you pick what we watch,” he says over his shoulder.
“Ok.”
I hear cursing coming from the kitchen so I get up and walk in to see what the problem is. Jensen is once again laid out with his upper half under the sink, muttering under his breath.
Squatting down beside his outstretched legs, I ask him what’s wrong.
“Stupid nut won’t go on straight. I think it’s stripped,” he tells me.
I nudge his leg. “Let me in there. I might be able to help.”
He crawls out and hands me the offending fitting. I make my way into the space and using my fingers, twist the hexagonal nut onto the bolt and tighten as much as I can. I know that it will need to more than ‘hand-tightened’ so I maneuver my body back out and grin at Jensen.
“Just needed a woman’s touch. But you’ll need to use a wrench to secure it so that it doesn’t leak.”
“Okay. Thanks, I guess.” He doesn’t look at me as he goes to slide back under the counter. I listen for JJ and can hear her babbling and laughing so I lean against the bottom cabinets across from the sink and watch Jensen work. I muster the courage to bring up JJ’s earlier faux pas.
“Jay, can we talk?”
“Sure,” he tells me. “You wanna explain to me the cold shoulder you gave me earlier?”
“What? When?” His question catches me off guard. I don’t remember giving him the cold shoulder.
“When I got back. I asked how you were and you gave me short, curt answers like you were trying to blow me off.” By now he has finished with the sink and is sitting against the counter across from me.
“That wasn’t a cold shoulder Jay,” I tell him. “Something happened while you were gone and it has me anxious.
“What happened Drea?” He looks at me worriedly.
“JJ called me Mama.”
“That’s all?” he asks me chuckling? “So what?”
“I’m not her Mama Jay, that’s what! Are we confusing her, having me take care of her while Dani is away? Does she think I’m her Mama because she’s seen us touching?”
“Drea honey,” Jensen scoots over beside me and takes my hand, lacing our fingers together. “She’s a baby. She doesn’t comprehend the change between you and I. She’s too young. And as for her calling you Mama, when my nephew was an infant and Mac had to put him in daycare for awhile, he called his teachers Mama all the time. It’s not a big deal. Really.”
“So, she isn’t going to think I’m her Mama and Dani is some stranger when she returns?”
Jay slips his arm around my shoulder and pulls me to his chest. “No babe. She isn’t going to not know Dee when she gets back. And as she gets older, I’m sure she’ll  have her own special name for you. Probably Auntie Drea.”
“But I’m not her aunt.” I dispute.
“Have you heard what Tom calls me?”
“Unca Jensen,” I answer. I had heard Tom call out for Jensen with that title a few times.
“Exactly. And I’m not really his uncle.” Jensen explains. “A wise man once said, ‘Family doesn’t end in blood.’ And it doesn’t start there either, sweetheart.”
I giggle and slap his chest. “That’s a tagline from your show.”
“Wait! Did you just admit to watching Supernatural?” he asks, excited.
“No. I might have seen the quote on social media and it was associated with something to do with it.”
“You’re breaking my heart darlin’.”
That evening Jensen took care of putting JJ down for bed while I went to my room to shower and get comfortable for our movie ‘date’. I washed my hair in the shampoo I had purchased for the simple fact that it smelled marvelous and shaved anything and everything I could. I know that this morning we had both alluded to something happening tonight and in that case, I wanted to be smooth.I wondered if Jensen had been serious about having tonight but I didn’t want to assume anything else would happen. What if it had just been a one-time thing? What if he regretted sleeping with me? Afraid of rejection I decided to just let whatever happens, happen.
Downstairs, Jensen is sitting on the sofa with a bowl of popcorn and two bottles of beer on the coffee table.
“I got two different new releases. A scary one and one that the main character is a heroine. What ya wanna watch first?”
The scary one. If I watch it later, I’ll never sleep tonight!” I tell him, sitting beside him, close but not touching. He reaches out and pulls me next to him and whispers, “I’ll protect you.”
The scary movie ends up being “The Appearing”, about a woman who was possessed, uncovering a dark secret about her past and must face the demon within herself. I close my eyes through most of the movie while Jensen watches and has a running commentary on the special effects used and the storyline itself. I try to pay attention to his interpretation of the film but every time I open my eyes something happens and I have to close them again, snuggling into Jensen’s side. I was pleased when the ending credits rolled.
“You wanna watch the other one? Or are you too scared now?” He looks down at me and smiles.
“Put the damn disc in,” I tell him, determined to redeem myself. The menu screen for The Hunger Games Catching Fire pops up which thrills me. “Oh, I have been wanting to see this one! I watched the first one, one night at a motel in Indiana during my trip.”
“So it was a good choice then?”
“Yes! Thank you Jay!” I hop up on my knees and pull him down to me as he passes by me to take back his spot after inserting the previous disc in its case. I kiss him sound on the mouth.
I watch as Katniss Everdeen escapes  the arena and the clutches of the Capitol just as Peeta falls victim to them, putting him in danger. But when Katniss finds out that her home district has been destroyed and it goes off, I literally yell at the screen. “What? You can’t end it like that!”
“Shh,” Jensen laughs. “You’re going to wake JJ.”
“But how can they stop it there? It’s not fair.”
“They do it that way to make sure people will watch the next one. It’s called a cliffhanger,” he explains to me.
“Because it leaves you hanging,” I nod in understanding. I stand up, pick up the empty bottles and popcorn bowl and take them to the kitchen. Walking back into the room, Jensen is ejecting the dvd and I tell him I’m headed to bed.
As I walk upstairs I wonder if he will come to my room tonight to cash in on my earlier promise of ‘more’.

But how do we know for sure it was m/m in Baby? It could’ve been a woman just saying
Sure! Def could have been pegged why not. Could have just had a little bum fun. Totally.
My real question is why are some people SO KEEN to write off all the tons of different moments over 13 years that all point towards one thing and say nah it totally could have been something else.
Seriously. If there are a shit ton of hints that, say, despite what he says, Dean totally enjoys a ton of stuff he says he doesn’t, eg Dr Sexy, larping, dressing up, being a cowboy, riding Larry, teenie tiny flavoured coffees, reading Game of Thrones, Vonnegut, watching Disney movies, Magic Mike etc etc etc… we don’t say ah but there is an alternative option for ALL THESE THINGS that means he ISN’T ACTUALLY into those things!
Take a long hard look at why you’re so desperate for it NOT to be this. Given as I say, this is a consistent theme, there are REPEATED hints of his being into dudes. REPEATEDLY. SINCE SEASON 1.
Some aren’t even HINTS they’re full on “I know how much you can fit in your ass” “shut up Crowley”
Tumblr media
“are you strictly into Dick now?” - Sam’s smirk and Dean all “shut up Sam”.
Tumblr media
“what’s bi is bi” - seriously, this is oral not written, we are supposed to hear “BI”
Tumblr media
Rowena says this line right after he pretends he has no idea what fifth base is and it’s a blatant lie. The insanely long pause. The deep voiced slow, careful denial while his left eye twitches like mad. The swallow of acknowledgement and awkwardness. Then immediately looks at Sam like SHIT. Sam and Rowena are the embodiment of the *Sure, Jan* gif.
JENSEN’S MICROEXPRESSIONS ARE A GIFT. They’re not even micro here, they’re massively obvious. We are supposed to notice. Sam and Rowena sure do.
At this point it really is reaching trying to say the story is not telling us he’s bisexual and repressing it.
I wish people would stop trying to justify something that, if it was anything other than his sexuality, they’d see as a clear narrative point. Just let it happen and stop trying to find excuses for 357 different times it’s blatantly exposed in the subtext as part of his character. It is happening.

*Ah, yes, much better. You know me and my need for fic aesthetics.*
For once, you had sat through the Saturday night concert with the rest of the cast. The interesting thing is, you actually enjoyed yourself. You always were a fan of music, and you had to admit that the band was pretty amazing. You made a mental note to listen to more of their songs when you had the chance, really impressed with their sound.
You were also amazed at how everyone around you seemed to be multi talented. Many of the other actors joined the band on stage, taking part in different songs and you sort of wished you had been more aware of their talent sooner. At one point, you stood of to the side of the stage, taking a moment to watch Billy, impressed at how great he was playing the guitar. You knew it took a lot of talent and patience, and the man was impressive.
After the show, Billy walked you back to your room and you chatted about the performance, only stopping once you had reached your door.
“Thanks for talking me into that. It was a lot of fun. You guys are great,” you said.
“I’m glad you had a good time,” he replied, “see, it’s okay to do something you don’t normally do sometimes.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” you chuckled.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Hmm, actually, I leave in the morning.”
“Oh, well, maybe we can hang out when I get back to L.A. on Monday”
“No,” you said simply.
“You are so blunt. It worries me that you don’t even attempt to make the effort to let me down gently, make up some lame excuse as to why you don’t want to see me.” Billy went on, seeming hurt over your shut down.
“It’s not that,” you laughed, realizing that you came off as being your usual rude self, “I just fly to Vancouver tomorrow. I’m needed on set this week.”
“Oh.”
“But, we should definitely hang out again.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I had a nice time with you.”
“Me too. It’s nice to get to know you better.”
“You think that until you realize one day that I really am just as lame as everyone thinks I am,” you chuckled.
“I doubt it.” He gave you a warm smile, not at all buying into the fact that you thought you were boring. “Well, I’ve got your number, you have mine. Let’s figure it out, I promised you another date.”
“Okay, you call me.”
“I will. Goodnight Y/N. Have a safe flight tomorrow.”
You watched him as he walked down the hall, noticing how your heart raced every time you even talked to him. This was new. You never felt like this just by talking to someone, especially not a guy like him. But, he was nice to you and it had been a really long time since anyone had been nice to you.
You tried to focus on work during the week you were back on set, even if you found yourself occasionally thinking of Billy for some reason. This had been the first time since being on the show that you were the one slowing down the scenes. It wasn’t like you to daydream or allow outside thoughts to take over, but Billy made you feel something that you hadn’t felt before. If only you could figure out why that was.
He had called you first, mostly just to say hi. You smiled hard when you had seen his name pop up on your phone while you sat in the chair, waiting for your hair and makeup to get done before you were needed on set. He never called with any particular thing to say, it always seemed to be just little things that he wanted to bother you with. Even if the random phone calls got annoying, you never said anything, mostly because they made you feel pretty good when they did happen.
“I’m just calling because the band is having a debate over cover songs. I want your input. Seger or Fleetwood Mac? Or, do you even listen to music?” Billy had asked one day. There was no, ‘hello, how are you?’ just a call because the band was arguing and he wanted your opinion.
“Of course I listen to music. I’m not completely dead inside.”
“Okay, which one?” He asked.
“You gave me a nearly impossible decision to make,” you told him, “Both are fantastic. But, Seger. All the way.”
“That’s my girl.” You could almost see him smile as he said it, and you felt your stomach twist at the way it sounded.
The week went on as such. Phone calls back and forth when you eventually built up the nerve to call him as well. It was never anything important, just a reason to hear each other’s voices.
After a particularly long morning of mostly dealing with Jared and Jensen goofing off on set, you had finally been sent on a break.
You walked to your trailer after you had finished lunch, hoping you could get a couple hours of sleep before you were needed back on set. As you unlocked your door and stepped inside, you were greeted by a rather large bouquet of flowers sitting on your small table. You scrunched up your face in confusion when you looked at them, wondering who they were from, and more importantly, why they were sunflowers.
No one ever sent you flowers, and you sort of imagined that the first time anyone did, it would be something romantic, like a dozen red roses; the way it is on movies and in books. You walked toward the massive bouquet, now smiling to yourself as you searched for a card or something to let you know who these might be from. You finally found it, hidden in between the large blossoms and you opened the envelope quickly.
“Maybe not what you were expecting, but these made me think of you. - Billy”
Your smile widened and your heartbeat quickened when you realized that he had actually sent you flowers. For some reason, it didn’t even matter to you that it wasn’t how you pictured it. Just the gesture alone was enough to make you feel something you haven’t ever felt before. You pulled your phone out of your pocket and immediately found his number. It rang a few times before he picked up.
“I got the flowers,” you said sweetly, still unable to wipe the smile off your face.
“Do you like them?” Billy asked. You could almost see him smile, his lips hidden behind that mess of a beard that you hated.
“They’re… nice.”
“Just nice?” He asked.
“I’ve never gotten flowers before. I didn’t realize sunflowers were a thing.”
“That’s what the florist said,” he chuckled. “But, they made me think of you.”
“Is it because I’m boring, and sunflowers are kinda boring too?” You asked, still thinking for some reason that he was making fun of you.
“You think they’re boring?”
“No, I mean, these ones are pretty. They’re so bright, and… big.”
Billy laughed, “they’re supposed to mean happiness or something.”
“Well, they made me very happy,” you replied.
“I thought of you when I saw them.”
“Hmm, now I’m questioning your motive here,” you replied with a grin. You ran your fingertips over the flowers, honestly feeling happier just looking at them.
“I assume you’re not coming back to L.A. this week,” he said, changing the subject.
“No. I think I’ll go straight to the next con by the time we get through these scenes.”
“Well, then I’ll see you there, and I haven’t forgotten that you said you’d go out with me again.”
“Yes, I know. You’ll never let me forget,” you joked.
“I’ll see you soon,” Billy said before ending the call.
When you had ended up at the next convention at your usual time, you of course ran into the usual crowd. You found yourself in the green room, ready to go over the schedule for the weekend. You couldn’t help but smile when you saw Billy.
“Hey, you,” He said happily as he moved to give you an awkward hug. In all honestly, it was you who had made it awkward. If there was one thing you were worse at than conversation, it was physical contact.
“Billy,” you said fondly, as you tried to make the hug less awkward.
“So, are you free tonight? I had our date planned and I thought it would be nice to do it before the weekend gets crazy.”
“What- yeah, I’m definitely free,” you replied. Again, you could feel everyone else’s eyes on you as the two of you spoke. “Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise, but I think you’ll love it.”
“I hate surprises,” you responded truthfully.
“Then you’re actually going to hate it,” he grinned.
When the schedule had been discussed that evening and you were free to go, you hurried off to your room to get ready. You weren’t sure why, but you wanted to make sure that you looked nice for Billy and it sounded like he had a nice evening planned for the two of you. As you walked, Kim caught up to you, now walking alongside you. You stiffened, remembering the way she had talked about you before.
“Hey, Y/N, can I talk to you?”
“Uh, sure, but can we talk in my room?” You asked. “I have a date to get ready for.”
You continued to walk quickly, Kim right at your side when you found your room and opened the door. She followed you in hesitantly, watching as you immediately went to freshening up and changing into something more appropriate for a date.
Kim never said a word, just watched you silently as you rushed around, and finally began touching up your makeup after you were dressed and you had on your heels.
“Are you really going to wear that?” Kim asked, looking you up and down.
“What? What’s wrong with my outfit?” You felt nervous now. It’s not like you overdressed, but you still wanted to look nice for Billy. “It’s casual, right?”
“No, you look really great,” she replied, “I mean, the jeans are great… the top is a little dressy… and those shoes…”
“What is wrong with my shoes?” You asked, wondering why you were even listening to her to begin with.
“They’re… tall.”
“I always wear shoes with heels, I’m short if you haven’t noticed, especially next to him.”
“I’m not judging your heels, you always look amazing,” Kim promised, “But if I know Billy, and I do, he’s got something a little… different planned.”
“What do you mean?” You asked as you applied your lipstick.
“You should probably value comfort over fashion tonight. Don’t you have a t-shirt and some simpler shoes?”
“I do have a t-shirt!” You exclaimed, scrambling for your bag to find one, “and I brought some Converse.”
“Good, go with that,” Kim chuckled.
“What do you think he has planned?” You asked breathlessly as you changed again. You were suddenly nervous and sort of wondering why Kim was helping you in the first place. “I was expecting dinner and drinks.”
“I’m sure there will be dinner and drinks, he’s still a gentleman. But, don’t be surprised if you go do something fun.” Kim smiled at you softly as she watched you. You definitely noticed, and it made you slightly uncomfortable.
“Like, what kind of fun?” You asked as you sat on the edge of your bed. You tossed your heels aside, slipping on some socks and then your Converse, already feeling under-dressed and awkward.
“I don’t know; he likes music and stuff. He’s also pretty laid back, but he’s a lot of fun. I just recommend not trying so hard.”
“Last time he just took me to dinner.”
“Yeah, but he also specifically stated that it was a dinner date. This one is just a date, right?”
“Yeah. He didn’t specify.”
“I’d assume he has something else planned then. Best to be prepared.”
“Okay, thanks Kim,” you grinned as you looked at yourself in the mirror, fussing with your hair.
“Hey, Y/N? I just wanted to apologize for last time. I shouldn’t have been talking about you like that. That was pretty horrible of me.”
“It’s nothing. My feelings don’t get hurt easily.”
“Still, that was wrong of me, especially when I don’t even know you.”
“It’s my own fault that no one knows me. It’s my own fault that people think of me the way that they do,” you began, trying to ease her mind. You knew that she meant no harm by it, most people usually didn’t. ”I’m really trying to be better though. I hope you guys can see that.”
“We do. We’ve noticed. Billy seems to bring out the best in you.”
“I feel like a different person, and I’ve only just gotten to know him,” you said honestly. Not only have you been feeling happier the past few weeks, but you also noticed that you felt friendlier. Normally, if someone was talking about you behind your back the way Kim had done, you certainly wouldn’t be sitting here having a conversation with them and taking their advice.
“I’m glad. He seems to like you, and I don’t know, maybe you like him to.”
“I do. He’s very sweet and he listens to me, you know? No one has ever tried to get to know me. No one has ever listened to me before.”
“He’s a really good guy,” Kim reminded you, “just… go have fun.”
“I will,” you beamed, “thanks again Kim.”
This was not at all your idea of a date. As you arrived, you looked at Billy; questioning whether this was a joke. Your heart dropped when you realized he was, in fact, serious.
“You up for this?” Billy asked, eyebrows raised, a cocky grin plastered on his face, almost as if he were challenging you.
“Not really,” you said honestly, “I’ve never done this before.” Despite the fact that you didn’t expect this and you really felt like now would be the moment when you should turn and run from him, you found yourself unable to do so.
“Me neither,” he replied.
“Why do I get the feeling that you’re lying to me?”
“I’m not,” he grinned wider, “I would never lie to you.”
“See, I still can’t tell if you’re lying.”
He only continued to grin at you as you both suited up. There were a few other people, mostly younger kids preparing to play as well. You noticed that you and Billy had somehow ended up in separate colors, meaning that you wouldn’t even be on the same team.
“Wait,” you said, “we’re not on the same team?”
“No, it’s more exciting this way.”
You felt sort of ridiculous in the get-up, carrying around a plastic phaser gun, and looking around to see that your teammates were probably each half your age at least. This was not your idea of a nice first date, but it was something that Billy had come up with. You had to admit, you really liked the guy, and maybe you could set aside your pride for one night and let him talk you into doing something silly. You sat through the video that explained the rules and how to play, sort of bored as your team discussed, very seriously, their strategy. You were basically chosen to protect the base; because, as one kid had put it, “it’s easier for the old one to just stand in one spot.”
You scoffed at him, knowing perfectly well that you had your fair share of training with weaponry just from being on film and T.V. sets. It may all be make-believe, but at least you knew what you were doing. It was simple really, aim for the sensors and fire; avoid being hit, and keep the other team from taking down your base.
When it was time to actually play the game, you thought you felt a surge of adrenaline rush through you, which was unusual since you really didn’t participate in games like this. You felt sort of embarrassed to even be here, sure that you would go home after this date and probably never want to see Billy again. You realized very suddenly that he wasn’t your type. You were always very serious; you took your job and yourself seriously. You knew you were too old for things like this, when you should be out meeting a serious man who valued the same things that you did. Billy came off as the serious type, but right now, you realized that he might be a bit too immature for you. After all, there were far better ways you could be spending your Friday night.
Some time into the game, you did as you were instructed, hanging around the base, occasionally stunning the guys from the other team who had made their way to you. With each hit you landed, you were just as amazed as them with how good your aim was.
You hung out for some time, bored and unamused, when you finally saw Billy for the first time since the game had started. Not one to mess around, even when it came to this stupid game, you took aim as soon as you saw him, and hit one of his shoulder sensors in one shot.
“Hey!” He called out, looking down at his vest that was now flashing, indicating that he was stunned for a few minutes.
“I forgot to warn you, I’m a really good shot,” you grinned.
He glanced up at you, smiling playfully before making his way toward you.
“You can’t move,” you warned, aiming again, “you’re supposed to be stunned.”
“Oh, trust me, I am,” he said.
“Want me to shoot again?”
“I think someone is having fun,” he replied, still moving closer to you.
“This is actually really lame, but I also don’t like to lose.”
“Neither do I,” Billy said softly. He was now directly in front of you, his face inches from yours as he continued to grin. You realized that you had dropped your arms down, letting the phaser hang loosely in your hand. Your heart began to race, suddenly nervous over how close he was to you.
“You’re not supposed to move,” you said softly, eyeing those lips that were dangerously close to your own..
“Are you sure?” He asked coyly. He leaned in closer then, lips ghosting your own as your breath hitched.
You nodded as you watched him. He gave you one more smile before finally leaning in, his lips pressing against yours gently at first. He waited, taking note of your reaction, which at first was that of complete shock. His lips were soft and his beard tickled your face. You thought you might be put off by the idea of kissing him, but everything inside of you began to react wildly to the sensation. You parted your lips carefully, pressing into him just a bit harder as he deepened the kiss. You felt him reach his free hand up to your face, letting his fingertips caress your cheek as he kissed you. You were lost then; head buzzing, heart racing, breathing becoming more erratic as you let him kiss you harder. You finally moved to wrap your arms around his waist, pulling him closer as he backed you up against a wall. The noise around you disappeared, the flashing lights of his stupid vest blinking dimly behind your closed eyes. There was a lot going on and your senses were overwhelmed now.
Almost as soon as the kiss became heated, he pulled back from you, breaking contact only to rest his forehead against yours. You breathed heavily, still dizzy and still overwhelmed. No one had ever kissed you like that before. You opened your eyes, now meeting his gaze. He watched you, still with that sly grin on his face.
“Guess what?” He said as he watched you struggle to regain your composure. You only looked at him questioningly, unable to form words. He pulled away from you, moving back a step as he pulled his phaser up to you, aiming point blank at the sensor of your vest. You suddenly noticed that the sensor on his vest had stopped blinking; he was no longer stunned and very much back in the game.
“Wait!” You shouted. It was too late. He pulled his trigger, instantly stunning you. You watched as the lights of your vest flashed, completely caught off guard. You looked back up at him as he shrugged at you. Before you could object, he had turned from you completely, racing off to attack your base.
“You fucker,” you muttered under your breath.
“You deliberately diverted my attention so that you could win,” you spat as you hurried down the sidewalk. Billy took short strides, keeping up with you as you walked without any real destination. You only knew that you were mad and you wanted to get away from him to avoid anymore humiliation.
“Maybe,” he grinned, “you’re not mad are you?”
“I’m a little mad,” you said honestly. It was one thing to draw your opponents attention elsewhere to gain the upper hand, but the fact that he had kissed you like that just to win the game left you feeling gross. For a brief moment, you thought that you might have actual feelings for the man, but that quickly changed when he decided to use that kiss as a distraction.
“You’re mad that I won? Or you’re mad that I kissed you?”
“Both. You shouldn’t have done that. That wasn’t fair at all.”
“Why not?”
“You don’t just kiss someone to win a stupid game,” you felt tears well up in your eyes as you realized that you had actually been really into that kiss and he had treated it like a joke, a way to pick on you.
“Well, what if I really wanted to win… but I also really wanted to kiss you?”
“You’re such an ass.”
“I’m sorry,” he laughed, “you’re right. I went about that all wrong.”
He grabbed your hand, stopping you suddenly. He pulled you gently toward him, until you were standing face to face again.
“Let me make it up to you,” he said softly. He leaned in again, and you felt the same sensations from before; excitement over the idea of him kissing you again, electricity shooting through you just at the way his hand felt holding yours, maybe a little bit of fear.
“H-how do you plan to do that?” You asked, catching yourself as you stared at his lips that were nearly hidden beneath that damn beard.
“I mean, I really did want to kiss you. I shouldn’t have used it as a distraction. Can I kiss you again, for real this time?”
You paused, considering his offer. The kiss during the game had been exciting, even if you did feel that it was done out of spite so that he could win. You hated that you felt this way right now; very much attracted to him, even if he wasn’t your type; and very much wanting him to kiss you again, even if you were pissed at him.
You were unable to form words, you only stood there in a stupor as you kept your eyes on his mouth as he leaned down toward you again. You wanted to push him away, to not let him get the upper hand again, but you slowly tilted your face up toward his until your lips met again. It was the same feeling as before. Your pulse quickened, head spinning as he kissed you deeply. You moved your hands up against his chest as he drew you in closer. You wanted more of him. Even in that moment, the sensation of that beard rubbing against your face as he kissed you no longer bothered you. Maybe beards weren’t such a turn-off after all. Eventually, you were on tiptoes, arms now resting along his shoulders as you strained to keep contact with him.
You kissed for a long time, standing right there in the middle of a busy sidewalk. You never saw yourself as one who would ever partake in PDA, but for once in your life, you really didn’t care what anyone thought of you.
