Well, it will come as no surprise that the first person I'll recommend is @randomshyperson. Seriously, her stories are simply the best, there's not a single one of her stories that I don't like. And her new series, Rulers of The Multiverse, is UNBELIEVABLY PERFECT! But I recommend all the others as well, anon, go binge read her masterlist too!!!

If you like endless pain, I obviously recommend @messedupfan. This person here breaks me every time but I keep coming back for more because their stories are that good. If you read for other Lizzie characters, I highly recommend the Should've Told You series (Leigh Shaw x reader), it's easily one of my favorite things in the world.

Another person I 100% recommend is @8bitscarlet. I have only read their Wanda stories, but I can assure you they are all excellent. If you're looking for series I would recommend I Hear A Symphony, seriously, you won't regret it.

I also recommend with all my might @tastetherambeau (NSFW blog @overtherambeau) she's simply brilliant and I strongly recommend Can't Take the Heat and Flatline (NSFW).

There is also @maximotts. I love not only what she writes but the way she writes, it's very beautiful to read. My favorite story of hers I think would be Desires Unspoken.

Another one if you want to cry your eyes out, @wellsayhelloaagin! I really liked The Same Nightmare, New Life and Left Behind, they made me hate being alive for an entire week. But she has some great fluffy and smutty stories to so you should check that out!

And let's not forget @missmonsters2! The queen of fanfics, one of the writers that inspired me to start writing! She has amazing stories! I recommend you to check out her masterlist. But a recent one I really liked was The Truth by Liquor, it's lovely.

There's also @vancityfire13, she has great stories! I believe she writes more for Natasha, but her Wanda stories are so good as well!! I think my favorite would be Beach Days, it's so so lovely.

Oh!! @reminiscingtonight!! Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. I get a shiver down my spine every time I get any notification from her blog, because I know I'm going to suffer. But it's all worth it! And if you're looking for something that's not heartbreaking, I recommend the lovely one-shot Accidentally in Love.

so the definition of aroace is little to no romantic or sexual attraction. so you can be bi with that little attraction.

there are also a label oriented aroace which is where someone doesnt experience ANY romantic or sexual attraction but experiences other attraction that is significant enough to label. so you can label yourself as bi oriented, lesbian oriented, gay oriented, pan oriented, etc.

aroace is an umbrella term for anyone under the spectrum of aroace. so demiromantic/demisexual, grayromantic/graysexual, etc. if you fall under the spectrum of aroace you can use the label aroace. (only if u are on both spectrums though!) so you can be bi and demiromantic/demisexual, etc

now im gonna admit it here, when i was younger i really really liked the concept hanahaki disease. i remember reading fanfics that had hanahaki disease in them (id skip over the kiss at the end if it had a good end (i wonder why (/sarc) )

but something that always rubbed me the wrong way was when in these stories authors wrote in how the surgery to remove the hanahaki, would remove any and all possibilities of falling in love again (romantically). that in itself is a cool idea, but what was specific in rubbing me the wrong way was how living without being able to fall in love (romantically) would be like. the worst thing ever.

I assume you asked this question in good faith, so as an AroAce trans person I will happily respond!

I would like to start off by saying cisheteromantic asexuals and cisheterosexual aromantics have always been a part of the queer community, period.

To answer your question, asexual and aromantic people need:

1. A community that accepts and affirms their non-cisheteronormative identities.

2. Many asexual/aromantic people have experienced conversion therapy for their sexual/romantic identity and need access to therapies and other treatments to heal from their trauma.

3. Similarly, they may have also experienced religious trauma due to a cultural upbringing that pushed a heteronormative, puritanical view of relationships.

4. Aromantic men in particular are demonized as sexual predators and need the love and support of our community to help them.

5. Asexual women and women-aligned/feminine-aligned people such as myself have experienced fetishization due to our sexuality orientation. Corrective rape has been used to correct people's asexual identities.

In summary, cisheteromantic asexuals and cisheterosexuals aromantics face many of the same issues as the rest of the queer community.

The rest of the LGBTQIA+ community must support their asexual and aromantic siblings.

hmm... had to think about this for a while and talk about it with co-author, but here's what we got. we mostly base this stuff on how plausible it is in show/if there's evidence for it. with a dash of personal experience. This only applies to residuum, btw. I have different personal headcanons for these characters outside the comic.

april: lesbian. this is mostly based off of the fact that most aprils get with their caseys & the comment she said to dale. which could be taken as disinterest in dale specifically, but she seemed more concerned with impressing that popular girl earlier and that reads as more... saphic, i suppose. or at the very least homoromantic.

raph: raph is just raph. we look at him and basically just *tv static*. go crazy. all we got is jokes or stuff that has too little evidence to support. so, yeah, he's whatever you want him to be i guess?

leo: trans. already said my reason in the other post. also, gay. if gay were a power source he could power the entirety of the united states for five months straight without a single power outage. failing power grid notwithstanding (< thats the actual word. its supposed to be mushed together like that. wack.).
