Note

Headcanon request for either Albert Shaw or Arthur Harrow as a dad. But honestly, I would accept such a Headcanon for any villianeous character you write about. So surprise me.

This has been sitting in my head for awhile, so I'm excited to get to work on it.

Fatherhood

Albert Shaw & Arthur Harrow x Reader HCs

Warnings: Hints of Dubcon, definitely Noncon, implications of above mentions, crazy boys around kids, reader is not referred to by specific gender terms but is able to get pregnant.

Arthur Harrow, first and foremost, wanted a child.

A child to him is a means of keeping you beside him. The bond would tie you two together forever. He likes the sense of control it brings him, especially over you. When you first met him, you were on the pill and mentioned never wanting kids of your own. But Arthur, as he does, convinces you otherwise. Perhaps even it was an 'accident'. He is certainly the kind of man who would swap your birth control with sugar pills. But he'd smile anyways and assure you it was fate.

While pregnant, you would be doted over. Every need met, whether it be from him or his followers. You would be given luxury and love and treasured like a little goddess. This is Arthur's child, after all, and that baby would be considered a herald. He would enjoy sitting with you, head on your stomach as you two talked. He would additionally make sure you ate well and took all the things you need for a healthy child. Arthur enjoys touching your belly while he reads or falls asleep. You have never looked more stunning.

When the child arrives, Arthur is in love immediately. While most wish for a boy, he always wanted a girl. Regardless, he was happy with whichever. He would sit beside you and help you cradle the crying newborn, imagining all the great things your baby would grow to accomplish. You, as the carrier, get to name the baby. Arthur would suggest names of course but leave the choice to you.

Fatherhood suits him. The man is extremely patient and controlled. He is great with teaching your child and helping them along. You've never heard him laugh so much before. There is considerable joy in his life now, and it shows. That baby would be raised with love and expectations. However, he is stern and unrelenting. The child never gets away with anything, and punishment is taken very seriously. It will learn that for actions, there are consequences.

I think Arthur would be a natural with parenting and fatherhood. He'd enjoy the molding of such a young life. He would eventually ask you for another, and maybe one more, once the first is a little older.

Albert Shaw has never wanted children. As a child, he was violently abused and mistreated. He can not mentally grasp the responsibility of a child (even if he can raise and train a dog, it's different).

That being said, in this instance, you are a victim/obsession that he's grown fond of and wants to keep. Pregnancy at its core appeals to him. The idea of his seed stuck inside of you, the fact that you are forced to grow and bear something that is equal parts his own excites him. He enjoys the thought of you being stuck with a piece of him inside of you and for life. But that is just about where it ends for him.

When you start showing signs of pregnancy, he'd simply watch. Maybe, depending on if he really enjoys you, he'll give you water and use his softer tone to reassure you that all was well. He does find it arousing that your skin clears and breasts swell - he'd be very interested in those. When your tummy grows, he'd touch it and talk to you about it, generally wanting to make you uncomfortable.

"How does it feel? Being stuck with a piece of me inside of you."

When it came time for birth, you were most likely alone. Stuck in the basement and forced to go through the entire process alone. In this instance, if you survived, he would return home surprised to see and hear a baby.

There is a long pause, and he is gripping and loosening his hands. You can't really tell what he's thinking. You would be filthy, tired, barely awake if not for that need to protect your newborn. He would come across the room and shake his head, scolding you about the mess you made. You are afraid when he sits beside you and looks at the child. Part of you wants to believe he cares, but you see no semblance of love in those eyes of his.

He'd sit in silence for a while, wincing if the baby cried. Eventually, when you got too tired to keep awake, he'd take the child out of your arms and leave the basement.

And you would never see the baby again.

Note: Hey guys! A few years ago, I started writing fanfiction, however after about a year I ended up just deleting my blog altogether. I've decided that Im going to try my hand at it again! The only way to get better is to practice, right? So here we go, first fic post on the blog. Let me know if there's any requests you'd like me to do! I write mainly Fluff, and i'll dabble in smut, im not comfortable doing angst unless it ends in fluff. I'll admit, its been a while since I've written ANYTHING, so please bear with me lol. BuffyTVS/Marvel Fic Idea

Timeline: the Buffy show happens in the late 90’s/early aughts (?) and ends before the (Marvel) Invasion of New York happens and makes ‘superheroes’ and ‘gods’ more commonplace. I headcannon that SHIELD is very okay with the old Watchers Council way of handling (controlling/abusing/neglecting slayers) and are happy to leave them be. I imagine they’re less cool with Buffy and co taking over to run it after the old Council is blown is killed by minions of the First. Thankfully, they’ll be too buys with Stark and co by then. Timelines can be adjusted to make things work.

So remember when Willow, Xander, Anya, and Tara brought Buffy back to life by calling on Osiris (see Urn of Osiris)? Well, in my prompt Osiris (a cannon character in Marvel) exacts a price for the ritual to work. A few weeks after Buffy is successfully resurrected, they discover that Willow is pregnant and when the baby is born it has a symbol of Osiris on it somewhere. Could be an unknown father (demi-god?) or a mix of DNA from the four of them. A mix could have Xander’s magic unluck or a connection to the hyena, a touch of Anya’s past demon life, Willow and Tara’s magic.

The baby can be raised with the scoobies or not. Maybe sent away when Sunnydale evacuates for the last battle. Both Tara and Anya die by the end of the series, so maybe joint custody between Willow and Xander. Despite the mark the kids is as normal as a kid raised by witches, slayers, and watchers can be.

Until…

In the Moonknight series Arthur Harrow (former avatar of Khonshu and current devotee of Ammit) fights the Ennead (Egyptian gods that watch humanity and live in the Overvoid/Celestial Heliopolis), which is led by Osiris’ avatar, a man name Selim. Selim dies in the last fight to contain Ammit.

And when Selim dies… the child of the scoobies with the Osiris mark is empowered as Osiris’ avatar. Will the scoobies be accepting of that? Will they think their kid is evil/possessed?

Moonknight gets to meet the new avatar or Osiris, a slayer/witch/watcher raised possibly demigod. That surely can’t go badly.

I'll probably write at least a few scenes of this, but it would be OC heavy.

Demigod OC making friends in New Asguard? How do the Ennead and Asgardians get along? Does anyone know? Drop me a line! I'd love to read Moonknight comics but all I have atm is google and the mini-series.

This is going to be a little shorter, but I hope you like it, anon.

Arthur Harrow + pet names (yup, that kind of pet names): *From you to Arthur: It's complicated, because you see him as your superior. He takes care of you and showers you in love and protection. That makes the word "daddy" the easiest, safest choice. Think about it: while you're with the community, you can either call him dad or papa and nobody will bat an eye, they might think is cute how you see him as your father-like figure. But in private, the soft name turns into a dark, kinky game you secretly enjoy.

*From Arthur to you: Oh, he has a big collection of pet names for you. His personal favorites are "little dove" and "my jewel". In public, he may call you just "little one", and when things are getting more intimate, he gets very poetic, calling you things like "my love vessel" or "my queen/king".

Amidst the town tucked inside the Austrian Alps, you had found your home.

The people had welcomed you with open arms, and you had quickly adapted to this new life. It was difficult for you to discern how you ended up here to begin with, as your memories grew fuzzy whenever you attempted to recall your life outside of the compound. Regardless you trusted them, and Arthur especially, as your new family. Anything that existed before coming there no longer mattered to you as you had let it go some time ago.

A series of gasps tugged you out of your thoughts.

At some point you had decided to scale the bell tower in the middle of town and situate yourself at the top. This spot was one of your favorites as it was the highest platform in the little community which granted you a 360 degree view of the mountains and planes surrounding you. The problem with this location wasn't the fact it was over 30 feet off the ground, but in fact that it was so old. With a sinking foundation and old wooden support beams, this tower was overdue for repair. Arthur had scolded you the first time you'd been caught climbing it, warning you that one wrong move could collapse the entire structure with you under it.

This was why you couldn't understand how you found yourself perched at the top once again.

"Y/N," Came Arthur's firm voice from down below.

Looking down amidst the crowd of concerned faces, you spot the leader of the flock staring up at you. His expression from this height was difficult to read, though you knew he was displeased. Arthur stood at the front with his hands resting on the cane in front of him, his brows vexed. He knew you had a penchant for exploring and roaming where you could, but he had warned you about this particular place.

"Can you come down? It's quite dangerous up there." He called again, though his voice never reached the intensity of a shout. Arthur had been handling business when a few concerned followers had come to him, alarmed that you were back on the tower and in danger of falling. Seeing you there once again irked him, though he figured with your amnesia from the accident you couldn't be faulted. Your spirit lasted even while your memories did not.

Embarrassment lights your cheeks in reds and pinks. You had caused a scene without ever intending to. Carefully, you descend the tower and mind your footing, even more aware of yourself than before. As you ease down to the ground, a sigh of relief washes amongst the crowd. You feel a hand on your shoulder and turn instinctively into Arthur's chest, your small arms winding around him and holding tight.

"I'm sorry."

Warmth encompasses you as Arthur holds you into his broad chest. He's warm and smells of tea, a scent that has been a comfort to you for some time now. As you sink into his chest and breathe him in, he rumbles like thunder. "We are going to have to find a safer way to satiate that explorer's appetite of yours, little one." A smile tugs your lips, and you press more into him.

"Perhaps we can take you for hikes along the trails, hmm?" His hand drifts from your back to pet along your neck, then up into your hair. He caresses you, squeezing gently and reassuringly. Arthur was not angry, and you knew, though you always felt uncomfortable at the notion of disappointing him. "What about your feet?" You look up towards him, eyes round and doe like. The man smiled down at you and breathed out a soft chuckle.

"I would not offer if I could not handle it." He promised, leaning down to press his lips to the center of your forehead. Warmth blooms under your skin, and you tilt, wanting to catch his mouth with your own - but he pulls back before you two can connect. "Let's head back." His hand pulls from your scalp, and he begins to limp towards the trail that leads to your shared home.

Arthur had a habit of leaving you hungry. Hungry for his affection and hungrier for his approval. He was good at leaving you on the edge, baited, and ready to spring. You smile and jog a few steps to close the widening gap between you. "Maybe we can go tomorrow?" You offer, eyes twinkling in the late day sun. The wind rustles the tall grass, lining the ascending hills towards your building.

"Tomorrow it is." The older man chuckled softly. "So long as I do not need to coax you down from anymore towers," There was a playful lilt to his words as he tossed you an amused glance. Your heart skips a beat, and your smile broadens. "No more towers, pinky promise!"

You lift your hand and offer your pinky towards him. Arthur comes to a stop to look, and his smile stiffens. It was something you did often and upheld with the highest of regards. He couldn't wrap his head around the notion that pinkies meant anything more than digits on a hand, but he knew what it meant to you. Offering his own, the two of you curl your fingers together, and your head nods affirmatively.

"No more towers." He reiterates, breaking the connection finally and putting his free arm around you. You smile and lean into his side, taking in the view that you never grew tired of and noticing a large tree in the distance. You wonder briefly how difficult it would be to climb.

Voltron and Dragon Prince Halloween Headcannons

Just because I’m in the mood.

Halloween for the Voltron Crew:

-Shiro: Typically for Halloween Shiro used to dress up pairing with Adam. Sometimes it would be your typical set couple pieces -Ketchup and Mustard, but most of the time they would come up with weird ideas that matched. Like a vampire (Adam) and Shiro as Frankenstin’s Monster (because he was taller), Arthur (Shiro) and Merlin (Adam), Two mobsters from the 20s or a cop and a mobster, etc. While they’re in space, Shiro decided to go as the Tin Woods man because of his already metal arm. (Lance thought he should go as an older version of Edward Elric, but they couldn’t find a blond wig for him.)

-Pidge: Her mom used to pick her costumes as a kid, and, as she got older (because of issues in school) she dressed up less and less. However she and Keith, being the crypto nerds that they are, decided to dress up as cryptozoologists and use the weird creatures that she found as their “research” items. She got Keith into the idea by promising that he could carry around the green one on his shoulder like it was a pet. Oh and they also got the mice involved too.

-Keith: Like with Pidge after his father’s death he was less inclined to dress up. When his father was alive, he went as a firefighter and a space man alien thing. He was just going to go as the yellow Paladin of Voltron, and dress in one of Hunk’s suits, but Pidge convinced him to come to the party dressed with her as a cryptozoologist. He wound up borrowing some of Hunk’s shorts to match her, and thinks he looks a bit like the lead of Crocodile Dundee. The Mice are dressed as mini moth men.

-Lance: Dresses up every year because of his family and niece and nephew. He usually takes them out getting candy, as it’s became more and more common over the years since before he was born. (His grandmother told him stories of how when she was little they weren’t allowed to have Halloween events, and after things changed and things became less restricted, more and more people started to celebrate by having parties and eventually the idea of trick or treating became a thing by getting candy from party goers rather than from house to house [AN: apparently this is becoming a thing now in Cuba, where they’re starting to have Halloween parties and such -so since this is the future I’m assuming things have changed more and more]. ) Typically he tried to match his niece and nephew, and he’s been everything from a Vampire to a giant box robot. This year he decided to dress as the knight from the video game, because...well why not.

-Hunk: Like Lance he typically takes his younger niece and nephew out, but his typical costume is something that covers him up. Either as a ghost, or some sort of scarecrow, or something really random, like a chef. He normally makes sure that they’re home on time, and also gets candy with them. Sometimes they all go as a group like one year he was the cowardly lion while his niece and nephew were the Scarecrow and tin woods man. This year he decided to go as a ghost because it seemed easy and fun, and he didn’t have to put to much work into it, but also it looked cool on him.

-Allura: has never celebrated Halloween, so wasn’t sure what to wear, and Pidge pretty much helped her dress up as Coran, since it would be something that was familiar to Allura and it was the easiest thing that she could think of, that made sense to the Altean princess. The only issue was getting the hair to stay as a mustache.

-Coran: Felt that this was a great idea and pulled from the ancient history of Altean lore to create a monster that is like a urban legend, with many eyeballs and writing limbs. Unfortunately this costume is hard to walk in, and the eyeballs keep falling off so the paladins are constantly having to pick them up and stick them back on them, and help him with the body which is a lot like a tree.

-Romelle: Never experienced it either and Keith jokingly suggested she dress up as a traditional Altean. Allura was more than happy to do that and set her up in one of her dresses and fixed her up so she looks more like a Princess then the pigtaled girl that they know. Although Romelle is still Romelle, so while she’s dressing the part she’s still questioning why anyone would want to be scared out of their mind once a year for fun?

(For those for Lotor, not sure for him, Probably he’d end up dressing up as some random creature from another world that they haven’t seen, or a Vampire.)

The party: Lance and Hunk set this one up and, with Pidge and Keith helping with making decorations (bats made of paper, random witch’s brooms out of thrown away items that they got for supplies, etc) Hunk took charge of the food and party games with food (Dunking for apples became picking up a fruit in the green goo, and having treats made from different planet food, including Balmaran cupcakes that look like the stones, and robeast cookies), while Lance took over the music and party events (Pin the arm on Sendak for example.) Pidge and Keith won for best scary story when they sat around telling them, though Coran nearly got it, but his ending was too cute to be scary.

Soren: Can totally see him deciding to go as a Superhero, or like get fangs and put on a football uniform and go as a vampire jock.

Claudia: Wraps her self in brown paper and dark brown tape, and carries around a baseball with her and goes. “See I”m a bat...get it?”

Callum: Doesn’t know what to wear or has too many ideas. Ends up throwing something together at the last minute wearing a hanger and a dry cleaning bag over himself saying he’s “clothing that was brought in from the dry cleaner”

Ezran: A zookeeper, as he has Bait and Zym with him.

Rayla: Like Callum has too many ideas, ends up dressing as Runaan, much to his eye rolling.

Runaa: Doesn’t typically dress up, ends up putting on a “This is my costume” hat because he doesn’t have time for this.

King Harrow: Total nerd about the holiday. Insists that the castle is all decorated for it, and has a big party. Ends up dressing as (and I don’t know why this came to me but ) Edgar Allen Poe, with a notebook in one hand, a quill in the other and Pip as his Raven.

Lord Viren: Over dresses for this. Goes all out in his costume and buys it on line. Comes as the Count of Monti Cristo, with the whole thing being made of silks and such.

Gren: Total dork, comes dressed as a Black cat Knight. Wears mostly the ears and tail.

Amaya: Gears herself up as Wonder Woman.

Reader is a goddess Harrow found asleep in an unmarked tomb, and has set her free.

Arthur Harrow knew what he was doing when he came into your room last night. How wouldnt he? He was a man who was always a step ahead, who planned and plotted. He was always in control.

Still, the doe eyed look you gave him when he revealed the truth to you had struck him. It was not surprising to him that you could not recall anything prior to being released, after all you'd been asleep in that tomb for so long. He recalls fondly of your awakening. You had trusted him so quickly, malleable and willing to listen and follow him. Only later did your need for independence finally show. Arthur didn't mind at all.
