These poor puppies have no idea why someone’s huddled in their house; Abram might not find it so bad if he wasn’t too hungry and tired to keep them from playing too rough with him.

I feel like not a lot of mediums can handle the theme of "vampires are essentially stagnant creatures" because you generally need a plot to be happening, which relies on change and reversals. In something relatively short and self contained, like a novel, it would be very hard to show the audience a vampire trapped in the hell of their own unaltered life simply because it would get boring pretty quick.

But a TV show with several seasons to go actually has the time and space to drive that home and how sad it is and make you wonder if change is actually possible.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? So apparently some people new to Tumblr think a repost and a reblog are the same thing, so when they see creators asking for people to not repost, they're thinking the creators are saying to not reblog 😭

Y'all, a repost is when you copy/download the work and create a new post using the work making it seem as if it's yours. A reblog is you using a site provided feature to share the creator's post directly from the creator so that it's still credited to them and they still get all of the traction/notes from the work.

Please, reblog fics/art/etc. that you enjoy! Reblogging is not reposting! Creatives need support too, and reblogging is a way to do that!
