Cosplay VS Character: Arya Stark 🐺⁣⁣ ⁣ Cosplaying a character from a live-action series caused a lot of stress and self-doubt for me. I did a few makeup tests before debuting Arya, and every time I was left feeling like something just wasn't quite right.⁣⁣ ⁣ Accuracy is really important to me with my cosplays. Usually with characters from video games, I have a good amount of creative liberties I can take. When the character is brought to life by another human on screen, its canon, official, and hard for me to be completely happy when I'm not a replica of that human.⁣ But I am proud of my craftsmanship and glad I took on the challenge to step out of my comfort zone.⁣ ⁣ My Arya cosplay, makeup, and general appearance of likeness will improve over time the more I work on little upgrades.
