Ah, it's been so long since I've posted on here ;-; But, hello everyone! I hope you've all been doing well. I.. have just... Been :')

But since I've been gone, here are some things I've finally done!

- I got my driver's license! Don't drive around much, but I passed! I'm still a nervous wreck though ahaha ;;

- I got my first "real" job! I wasn't able to keep it for long, but I'm grateful for the people who considered me and what I learned along the way.

- I went to Seventeen's Be The Sun concert! Was a grest experience; glad I could spend that day with my carat friends!

hello to everyone in the studyblr community! now that we’re coming up on the last bits of 2020, i would like to just write a small thank-you note to everyone here that has shown me plenty of love and support.

i think i’ll be speaking for most of us when i say that 2020 has been a pretty rough year for a good majority of us. for me, its been tough year with more than its fair share of difficult periods. however, i believe this year has brought about little gems of happiness wedged between tough times. with your kind love and support, this small blog of mine has reached 20k followers. 

i’ll always be appreciative of everyone’s support for what was originally just a place for me to vent about my studies. this community has become a place where i feel comfortable sharing my worries knowing that there is always going to be a group of people here for me.

thank you all so much (again, again and again) for all the love that you’ve shown me. i believe that next year will be better one for us all. here’s a few blogs (and beloved friends) that i’ve enjoyed throughout 2020 and will continue to love in the future:

1. What’s your degree/favorite subject?

I loooooove biology and English

2. Where are you from ?

The North Pole in Antarctica

3. What motivates you to study?

Nothing huge, like the want to be successful in the future or anything. I don’t really have any motivation to study?? I just study a lot from the habit of doing it, and if I ever skip a day where I don’t study, then I get v v anxious and all I can think about is doing it. I study to avoid my anxiety, basically.

4. What do you love about yourself?

I have this mole under to the corner of my eye and it’s pretty much the only non-ugly thing about me so

5. What time do you do your best studying?

Usually around 1 pm or 10 am

6. What’s your favorite tv show?

I don’t watch very much tv, but I’m always down for Victoria or The End of the F****** World

7. Best self care tip for exam season:

Mxjxiqjdnnc idrk im not good at advice. But I guess remember to take breaks and don’t push yourself too hard ?? I know everyone says that, but I can’t think of anything else to tell ya. Just,,, don’t kill yourself over not understanding a concept or something, okay?

8. Do you listen to music while you study?

Yessssss I can’t NOT listen to music! It makes studying more bearable for me. Otherwise I feel like throwing myself off of a cliff within the first ten minutes.

9. What’s your favorite book?

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. You’ve got to read it, it’s so amazing jsjsjsjsjsjjsh

10. Where do you do your best studying?

I do my best studying in places I never study. You see, studying isn’t he same place over and over for me makes my productivity lower. I always have to switch it up and like study on the stairs one day, and then study in the kitchen the other. Apparently there’s even been a study that showed that varying the places you study makes you memorize faster or something.

11. What do you get complimented on most?

My outfits ;)

12. Where would you like to live in the future?

LLOOONNDOOONNNNNNNN I’ve wanted to go there since I was in fourth grade (aka 9 years old for people who aren’t familiar with the American education system)

13. How long have you been active on your studyblr?

Since December of 2017, so... idk you do the math, I hate math

14. Favorite way to spend study breaks?

I never take study breaks. I usually force myself to finish everything in one sitting and then relax, but the few times that I do take a break is to eat a meal. Food is the only way to get me to stop studying 💕💕

15. What’s your favorite study snack?

I don’t eat “snacks” when I study. No, I go all the way and eat a whole meal (egg and cheese sandwiches are good) GeT On mY LEvEL, PEasAnTS

Planning to do an astrology spread as my next major “project”! I haven’t done a big spread since my Greek mythology spread, and I’m so so happy that so many of you liked it.

There’s going to be plenty of research done, so it’ll take a while before I post it. Please look forward to it! In the mean time, I’ll be drowning in readings and my usual weekly spreads ;-;

This spread is an exploration on The Sun and its identity as the inner child. As we carry darkness, our inner child carries light. Together, we belong. Filling in our own gaps with dreams, fears, ambitions, sadness. These parts of ourselves remind us that we are only human.

Remember to wave hi to your inner child, to tell them you love them, and to take them with you always.

put 0x1=lovesong on loop to create this spread; i love this song so much ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

anyways, highlight of the process: when i decided to draw the red thread with my eyes closed. the crumpled paper layer was extremely thin and soft, so i had to be careful not to tear it. i felt really grounded and sure (?) during the process; my right hand was on autopilot while my left was feeling the ~canvas~, making sure i didn’t run the thread over any layers i didn’t want to. it was... pleasant, especially with the song blasting in my ears 😌⚔️🤍. i circled a certain part of the thread because to my pleasant surprise, it resembled a heart (sort of... possibly...)!! it was also where i tore a bit of the crumpled paper, but that just goes with my writing! my essence! the thread broke through the paper (also read as: the beyond). soulmates transcending time and space because love prevails,, it’s omnipresent ahaha.. ain’t love the coolest thing ever?
