I don’t care what they say- this 1875 house in Uriah, Alabama is spooky. It was only listed for 3 days when it was taken off the market and “not for sale.”
It’s giving off a dark vibe- look at the living room furniture huddled beneath the stairs and jammed in next to a fireplace. It’s just weird.
It has original pocket doors, though. This is the kind of home that would probably benefit from painting the dark wood white.
Don’t like the kitchen and hate the ceiling.
Tbh, I do like that they left this fireplace in the middle, though.
They show this lovely fireplace, but don’t show what room it’s actually in. Hello?
Don’t know what’s going on here. There’s that suspended ceiling, again.
The house has 6 bds., and 2 baths. This particular bath is so large, it looks like it was 2 rooms at some point.
This is another bedroom, used as a catch-all.
What’s on the floor in this one?
So, clearly, they’re not using most of the bedrooms.
How dreary.
This knotty pine porch is nice.
There’s a deck. You can see that the exterior needs paint.
The place needs a lot of TLC.
There’s a lot of land, though- 74 acres.
Was this farmland, at one time? Anyway, the land goes on forever, so it would be worth the price just for the land.

I won't tell anyone when I win the lottery, but there will be signs.
