It's been a minute since I've had one to share, but here's #Day63 written at #WindmillLibrary and inspired by @authenticalchemist It's also been a while since I've been able to write and leave a poem for a kind stranger. So very glad today's adventure had this stop on the list. #Reiki #ReikiandPoetry #AYearofPoetry #YellowHandwriting #MorePoetey #NeededThis https://www.instagram.com/p/CpY0UbApkOn/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
We do not here refer to that literature which, in every great modern revolution, has always given voice to the demands of the proletariat, such as the writings of Babeuf and others.
The first direct attempts of the proletariat to attain its own ends, made in times of universal excitement, when feudal society was being overthrown, necessarily failed, owing to the then undeveloped state of the proletariat, as well as to the absence of the economic conditions for its emancipation, conditions that had yet to be produced, and could be produced by the impending bourgeois epoch alone. The revolutionary literature that accompanied these first movements of the proletariat had necessarily a reactionary character. It inculcated universal asceticism and social levelling in its crudest form.
The Socialist and Communist systems, properly so called, those of Saint-Simon, Fourier, Owen, and others, spring into existence in the early undeveloped period, described above, of the struggle between proletariat and bourgeoisie (see Section 1. Bourgeois and Proletarians).
It’s Day 63 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the northwest at the 8mph with gusts to 14mph at 6am. The temperature was 47° and it felt like 44°. I used the Pumpkin color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to indicate the wind was out of the northwest. I worked my stitches in garter stitch because the wind was at 8mph. We had a lovely call with the kids and grandkids kids today. It is so much fun having these weekly calls to catch up and chat. Today Hollis sang some songs he learned at school which was great, and Georgette got a bit shy about singing, but she seemed to have fun asking about movies, and talking about what she did over her school vacation. It will be back to the grind for both of them this week. I really love these calls so much. It is the highlight of my week. Be safe out there.
Dad was driving by this barn every day from work and picked me up one day so that I could capture this beautiful shot. The grass was so perfectly vibrantly green and the sky was clear blue. Felt like everything aligned just right.

Endings don't require drama or toxic behaviors. You can end something because it's not what you want, it doesn't fit where you're going, you're tired of trying to make it work, your needs have changed, or you can no longer accept what is happening. You don't have to wait for a major offense to let things go. It's okay to bow out gracefully.
Sometimes peace is more important than giving someone a piece of your mind.
