I love the fact that bc we saw so little of Jake in the tv show, everyone thinks he’s the problem child of the three. Meanwhile, in the comics they recently had a conversation that was essentially “ Marc your problem isn’t that you have DID, it’s you” and “Marc why do you think YOU are in therapy and not US?” and “Marc, Jake and Steven didn’t try to take over the world. YOU did.”

Don’t get me wrong Jake and Steven are messy bitches(mostly Steven) and also have their fuck ups(mostly Jake), but most of the systems problems come FROM MARC !!!

Even in the show too! I mean Steven and Jake(from the little we’ve seen) are mostly rational in their decision making. Marc on the other hand married the daughter of the guy he believes he killed, without telling her, runs away from his problems, including his wife!!! and moves 15minutes away from where they used to live and let’s Steven take the reigns, full well knowing there is a huge possibility he’ll run into Layla eventually!!! Like WHAT !? The man didn’t take into consideration that his wife literally could just say No to Khonshu and becoming his avatar, WHICH IS HIS MAIN MOTIVATOR and she eventually does actually JUST SAY NO! Batshit decision making process.

Now I love all of them, my little guys!!! but if any of them are acting completely irrational at times, 8/10 times it’s gonna be Marc.

One of the best Moon Knight suits. love the more ancient and plague doctor-ish look for the suit. The details on the suit like the bones on the arms and knees, the cresent moon necklace, the Khonshu skull and the fact that MK can throw hands with ghosts really gives this suit a more supernatural vibe compared to Marc's standard suits.

Ok listen here let's have a real talk about that one phantom rider guy.

I started reading West Coast Avengers from #21 since I'm here just for the moonie so I have no clue if they said something more specific in the previous issues but

I genuinely assumed him to be some previous 1800s-based Fist of Khonshu. Like a Moon Cowboy or something like that.

Because come on

They even draw his mask like they used to / sometimes still do with Moon Knight. And the cape. And the all-white attire.

Ok, turns out the guy is an utter prick so I headcanoned he sort of was a past Fist but screwed up so bad Khonshu disowned him completely and still denies any involvement with that guy, especially if asked.

Moon Knight Encounters Werewolf by Night in “Moon Knight Annual #1″

Marvel Comics has announced a special double-sized Moon Knight Annual from writer Jed MacKay and artist Federico Sabbatini. Moon Knight just may have his work cut out for him as Werewolf by Night has him square in his sights.

“In the Darkhold, there is a prophecy of how a god might die. Jack Russell, more familiar with that cursed tome than most, would like very much to kill a god and save his people, the people bound in servitude to the moon. But to fulfill that prophecy requires the blood of the Fist of Khonshu, and Moon Knight doesn’t bleed easily.” (Marvel Comics)

Just a little fan piece I did for What If…? Season 2, with Thor clad in the armor and wrappings of Moon Knight, based on the idea by Reddit users Jtides and Kolvez.

For the whole discussion, here’s the transcript of it:

Jtides:

“I think Moon Knight opens some cool ‘what if X became Khonshu’s avatar.’ [Thor would be cool,] one god so desperate, he does the bidding of another.”

Kolvez:

“I could see Khonshu approaching a de-powered Thor in the first Thor movie. Now, the Hammer is stuck in the desert and Thor is wearing all white, wielding a new bird-themed hammer.”

Shoutout to those guys for creating the idea because that feels legitimately like something that could and should happen in the show.

Chamomile

Pairing/s: Mainly Steven Grant x GN! Reader (there’s a bit of interactions with Marc and Jake of course) (established relationship with the moon boys) Warning/s: A bit of angst? Summary: You’ve been having hard time sleeping for the past couple of days, luckily Steven is there to help you out by making a chamomile tea hoping it would work out.

You’ve been tossing and turning on the shared bed with Steven, Marc, and Jake. Lucky for them because they’ve been asleep for quite some time now. Grabbing the wireless earbuds near the bedside table, you put the one pair in your right ear and watch some cute and wholesome otters videos.  Hugging your taweret plushie, which Steven gave you on your first date with him you finished the previous video that you’re watching and play another one, and another for the past few hours. You weren’t paying much to your surroundings at this point when you feel a pair of arms wrapped around your stomach, back hugging you.

“Love? Are you okay?” Removing your earbuds and turning off your phone, you put it beside you. Rolling off the other side, you faced groggy Steven, chuckling to see his state you brush his hair off to his forehead and tuck into his ear. He leaned to your touch, while you admire his feature up close, forgetting that Taweret is now squished between you and Steven. “Love?” “Hm?” Gently running your thumb to his cheek, squishing it softly you giggled a bit. “I am so lucky to have you, you know that?” Steven just stares at you groggily, probably processing what you just said to him. Ruffling his hair softly, you gently give his nose a peck. “I’m fine, I just really can’t sleep at all.” Steven looks at you worriedly, “You’ve been like this for a few days now love, Are you sure you’re okay?” Thinking of your recent events you couldn’t come up with an answer. “You know, when I haven’t met you there are times I won’t be able to sleep properly just like this...” Now it’s Steven's turn to brush your hair with his fingertips, listening to you while you continue to talk about whatever gods you’ve been bothered about. Sighing softly you tried your best not to bring some of your past events to Steven, Marc, or to Jake. Not that you don’t trust them but you don’t want to be a burden to them, as if Steven is reading your mind “No you’re not a burden (Y/N).” It was Marc, you were lost to your own thoughts that you didn’t even notice Marc fronted. “I know, I just... I don’t want to talk about anything right now.” Marc nodded and kisses your forehead, while he parted away you are now facing Jake who just fronted. “Mi corazón, you know that we’re always here right?” “Mhm,” you hummed as a response, while Jake gently holds your left hand and kisses your knuckles softly. “Yep, that’s right love. We are always here for you.” Steven now fronting give you a peck on your nose, giggling softly to his affection you nod in response. “Of course, that’s why I’m lucky to have you guys.” Marc and Jake are now admiring you from their headspace, always grateful that they met you too. “How about this, I’ll make you something warm – a chamomile, might help you to sleep, yeah?” Before you even protest, Steven removes himself from your embrace and makes his way to the kitchen. Wrapping yourself with a blanket, you decided to join him in the kitchen. You watched as he prepares the kettle and a teacup for you, Steven on the other hand noticed that you’d been staring at him while he does his thing. He will never get used to someone like you who always adore every part of him, Marc and Jake would tease Steven at times about how easily he go flustered when all you’ve been doing is admire him. Well to simply put it, he deserves it, they deserve to be admired. Minutes had passed and you didn’t notice that the kettle already made its ‘whistling’ sound, you didn’t even realize Steven had been calling you too – “Love? (Y/N)?” You blinked in surprise, ‘staring at Steven is like having a trance’ you mentally laugh at yourself, “Yes?” “I keep calling you – I mean, us. You looked... lost?” “Lost in your eyes” You playfully winked at Steven, which in his response – speechless, Marc and Jake are now laughing at their brother’s reaction. “Right – here’s your chamomile love. Did you know that tea has a lot of benefits?” He quickly changed the subject, chuckling a bit at his antics you sit in front of him clutching to your blanket you carefully hold the teacup. “Be careful love, it’s still hot-” gently holding the warm cup of chamomile tea, you blow the drink. “You were saying?” “Hm?” Steven looks at you confused, not sure what you were asking about – “The benefits of chamomile, sorry to cut you off speaking-” “No need to be sorry, love.”

Nodding softly, you take a sip of chamomile. Surprisingly it has a sweet taste like honey-like, with hints of mellow and apple. “Well – for instance, chamomile is a great caffeine-free alternative to black or green tea, plus not only it will help you to improve your sleep – but chamomile is also loaded with antioxidants that may help to lower your risks of having several diseases...” The teacup in your hand is now half empty, Steven’s words started to sound faint to your ears. ‘It must’ve been the chamomile, huh?’  Nodding absent mindly, you yawn – not because of Steven giving you facts about the benefits of chamomile, but because it’s the tea – Steven noticed your sudden tiredness, and he looked at you, smiling. “Tired already, love?” “Mhm...” Putting down the teacup that is now empty, you looked at Steven groggily. “I know this is a lot but – can you carry me? Pleaase...” You give him a pout that made Steven chuckle. “Anything for you, love.” He then proceeds to walk towards your way and carefully carry you in his arms, you, on the other hand are like a koala – Steven chuckle softly when you buried your face in his chest, you wrapped your arms to his neck while your legs wrapped to his waist. Almost falling asleep not only from chamomile tea but from Steven’s warmth. Not wanting you to stir awake, he slowly and gently put you to the shared bet together with him. Mumbling incoherent words – “don’t leave...” “thank you, Steven...” “love you… boys.” Steven, gently brushing your hair – kissed your cheek. “Sweet dreams, love.” ~~~
