New 30-Day Yoga Challenge 🧘🏻‍♀️🪷
Yoga with Kassandra’s Flexible Body, Flexible Mind
For years already, 30-Day yoga challenges have been working incredibly well for me.
I love the structure, the sense of comfort the level of predictability and routine they offer, the taking away the guesswork when I get up first thing in the morning and I already know what I have to do. I love to compare my progress and see how the same poses feel differently on Day 1 and Day 30.
At the same time, I’ve learnt to be, well, more flexible! I don’t aim to do the 30 days in a row and beat myself up if I miss one day anymore. It’s more like aiming for 30 days of structured practice in the next few weeks. And that works really well for me. I’m also not ashamed to modify whatever is that I need to modify.
I started this particular challenge one year ago, almost to the date. I couldn’t finish it because my life started to fall apart and it was the beginning of what would be a really nasty divorce.
I’m in a much better place right now. I’m rising from the ashes of what was the most painful experience of my adult life. And I’m ready to tackle this challenge again, believing in myself, in the process of healing in different ways and pretty confident that I will be able to finish it this time 🙏🏼

FEEL FREE TO IGNORE#i dont wanna go to work ‼️‼️‼️ i feel like i am nearing a breaking point i am sofucking burnt out#every time i go to work. my brain gets Scary at me. stresses me out. dont like it ☹️#im supposedto be going in tonigjt but im dreading it sososo much#my work hour options have changed from “fully flexible” to “7am-9pm only” whcih yeah i know that doesnt sound that bad. but i have non-24#(circadian rhythm disorder that makes me sleep progressively later every day circling fully around the clock over ~3 weeks or so)#and bcos of it often i have to force myself out of bed in what my body thinks may as well be the middle of the night just to get to work#and then i dont ever get enough time to recover from that to actually let my sleep fall back into its natural schedule wjich is the only#time i feel properly rested. so essentially im chronically sleep deprived which is making me chronically stressed and way less productive#i just reslly really want to fucking save up a little money and just Not work for a week or two. bjt. with my sleep bullshit i cant really#work enough to be able to put anything aside. at all#so. kind of an unrealistic desire i guess. lol#ive been feeling like this ever since like early january when i was told i ahve to stick to a more normal schedule. & its only getting worse#idont know i just wishthere was something i could do that was fully flexible on timing but also doesnt havw the kind of workload that would-#-stress me out like basically anything with longer-term projects so ykmow Most flexible schedule jobs.#i do have one thing in mind i could do on my own but its dumb and probably wouldnt make much money and has startup costs i cant afford rn..

btw i think all people should involve themselves in body normalcy, fat liberation, intuitive eating, and never stop working on unlearning fatphobic ideas within themselves regardless of size. Because of how prevalent and ingrained fatphobia is, it affects and hurts everyone and becomes a motivator for upholding it. Fat people are treated as worthless and are oppressed, and skinny people fear being the target of that oppression so they continue to uphold fatphobia within themselves. this is why i disagree with framing fatphobia as bad Solely because you shouldnt judge other people's bodies. When you complain about gaining a few pounds, you continue to hurt yourself and your larger friends who hear how terrified you are to look like them. While i think fatphobic thin people should be held accountable for harm they impose, i also think that this should mean they work to align themselves with fat people instead, because we have similar goals and interests in eliminating fatphobia, which is to actually feel good about our bodies and find worth in our personhood, not our weight.
I also think this should mean you continue to examine it within yourself even if you think you are in a good spot. everyone has those instinctual fears instilled within them by society, i still have biases to unlearn, and i talk about them all the time to show that nobody is infallible and nobody is unable to engage within anti-fatphobic spaces. don't think you are unable to support fat people and appreciate fat bodies just because you are thin, and don't think that you are incapable of further reflection of unintentional biases just because you reblog fat positive posts occasionally or have 1 fat oc.

one of the specific inconveniences that Haunts Me abt being riddled with complex illnesses is what seems like such a small thing: rarely being able to wear clothes. i spend all my time in pyjamas, and every morning i wear fresh clothes because i want to feel like a person and it's always pyjama shorts and an oversized shirt. that's the best i can do.
and i am GRATEFUL. im so grateful that most days i can dress myself despite the struggle, i am unbelievably grateful i have access to clean and cute pyjamas. that is NOT the standard.
when i was younger i couldnt shower everyday and i wore the same clothes for days on end due to illness and stuff and im more sick now but ive found ways to maintain myself so i shower every day, get changed every morning from my night pyjamas into fresh ones or even a big shirt and shorts, and it's fucking awesome that's huge compared to what i used to
