It’s another year of Holiday Blues, and we are well into winter now. This must mean we are into our FOURTH week of Flex Friday 💪 
No one understands the abundance of benefits that exercise can do for mind, body, and soul better than Tiffany Curtis 💫 After all, she is the founder of Indwell Collaborative, a community gathering space for social healing. With over 13 years of experience facilitating programs for social change, she has visions for intergenerational healing, which is contextualized by living through years of compounding grief from familial loss. Now, she is bringing those skills and experiences to you this winter, with her unique program designed to help and heal. ❤️‍🩹
For this fourth week, the theme is simple, but powerful: it’s FOR THE COLLECTIVE. We will continue by completing an important exercise. Together, we return to sit with the resource that sustains our being well, calling our ability to amplify this power for the benefit of all beings. The self-care 101

You've been trying to build a routine or have been trying to get back on track but just don't know where to start? lets me help you out <3
Step one Personal hygiene:
first up are a few things that you should do daily! <3
Brushing your teeth, flossing, and mouthwash twice a day.
Showering either in the morning or in the evening.
shaving and lotion if you feel like it (my fav)
skincare twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed.
Perfect! now at first, this may seem a bit overwhelming, especially if you struggle with depression, but sticking to this will already do a lot-
Simple skincare:
my last point was skincare, so I'll give you a little run-through on a simple and affordable routine; obviously, I can't promise that this will work for you, but we gotta start somewhere, right? :)
morning:
Dove beauty cream bar works really well for me (costs like 1 €).
Neutrogena hydro boost aqua cream as moisturizer (10 €).
Any SPF that works for you, I use the la Roche-posay one (15 €).
night:
Dove beauty cream bar.
The ordinary glycolic acid as a toner (10 €).
The ordinary Niacinemid + Zinc (7 €).
and the Neutrogena moisturizer again.
This should be a good start! :)
Step two healthy habits:
mental health plays a massive role in self-care, so I have listed a few things that might help you feel a little bit better; building actual habits takes time, though, so don't stress about it too much, and just try sticking to a few! :)
Eat breakfast.
Take vitamins in the morning (Vitamin D, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Folate/Folic acid, and Vitamin B-12, to list a few)
go for a daily walk.
Do a youtube yoga or stretch video.
Listen to a positive playlist or podcast.
No technology for 30 minutes.
Read 10 pages of any book.
Study something you're interested in for 15 minutes.
Write down 3 positive affirmations.
Make a to-do list.
Try a new recipe each week.
Make a grocery list.
take your time and try being consistent; eventually, you will get to where you want to be; you can do it! <3

HI PRETTIES!! 🎀 Its me again this is just a quick little update so recently i’ve been very overwhelmed with things and the whole glow up plan got tanked and ive been dealing with so many things & at a point it got intense but now I’m definitely doing alot better i’ve decied instead of giving up i will simply start over again uhm im starting to meditate more and finding good ways to cope with my anxiety issues so thats really great!! but yes my glow plans have not changed but im definitely gonna restart and try 2 be as engaged with making daily/weekly update as much as possible i will be back on a regular posting schedule by tomorrow or the next day bc i have so many fun ideas thank you all 4 reading this muahh!! i love you all - xoxo, Ai’ya! 🎀🪷

How to start your day on a positive note:

- drink your water as soon as you wake up and take any vitamins/medicines so avoid forgetting them
- i find that sitting up or propping myself up helps me not to fall back asleep in the mornings and stay productive
- set a list of realistic goal or expectations for the day - don’t push yourself - i use MinimaList and i love it
- open your shades and let natural light into the room
- surround yourself with positive energy whether that be reading a book, or watching a youtube video that grounds you
- meditation always helps to centre myself for the day or yoga and stretching
- fuel your body - if your like me and don’t like eating in the mornings try a smoothie or yogurt
- get some fresh air - whether that’s opening a window, drinking your coffee outside or going for a walk
- deal with any small tasks in the morning to help deal with the workload and focus on longer tasks
- do your skincare routine and brush your teeth - keep clean !
- pick an outfit you feel comfortable and happy in and that makes you feel your best
- take deep breaths and practice steady breathing
- be kind to yourself mentally and physically your body is doing so many amazing things nurture it
