love how she doesn't even bother to ask if crowley has a wife or girlfriend. one look at him and it's clear there is no heterosexual explanation for anything about crowley

Thinking about the almost complete absence of God herself as a character and as a narrator this series. She spoke to Job and that's it. We are no longer in on her point of view. Not that her plans were ever effable, so to speak, but part of the whole question of the end of series 1 is "maybe she planned it this way all along", which is leant even more credence by her being the narrator. That question was barely asked this series.
What was asked is "what's the point"? At the start, Angel Crowley asks what the point of it all is if it's going to be destroyed, and I'm fairly sure there was another line somewhere about "what's the point" of Armageddon/war between heaven and hell etc. I need to rewatch and take proper note.
Anyway, that question didn't go very far this series, but I wonder if it will come into play much more in s3. Essentially, it's no longer "did god plan it this way?", it's "why did she plan it this way?".
