Flying back home after a nice vacation in Tennessee. Spent some time with family and hiked around. Favorite part of my trip was making it to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and hiking for a solid day. I logged about 15 miles of trails and 4000 feet of elevation gain. The very next day I did a 9 roundtrip mountain hike with my sister @djzo3 on Pinnacle Mountain Fire Tower Trail. These are the last two tea's from the national Parks collection from Simpson and Vail that I've just tried. One honors the great Smoky mountains which are in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, maybe South Carolina as well have to double-check. And the other one is Zion national Park which is in Utah. Great Smoky mountains is a black tea with lapsang souchong tea. Which is a Chinese smoky black tea. In the great Smoky mountains tea, L.S. Is quite mild not as smokey as I thought it would be, for those who are not a fan of this type of team might like this. It also has blackberries big juicy blackberries in the pouch. Blackberry leaves blackberry flavor, and marigold petals. Essentially a blackberry black tea. And the blackberries play a strong role in this one. Definity a cup good for the morning, better for the afternoon with dessert. Mild black tea. Not weak but not strong ether. Zion national Park tea is a red tea, rooibos tea. With lavender, elderberry, sage and horsetail. The lavender plays a strong role in this one, But not too overpowering. And a little sweetener you'll taste more of the elderberry and sage counterbalances the lavender. A perfect cup for the late afternoon or early evening just before bed. Overall like give them 9.5 or 10. On the Tea rector scale. I just wish the blueberry green tea of Maine had stronger blueberries taste to it But, other than that it was pretty good! Well done SV! Mountain laurel covered in snow. I used my @canonusa 5D mark iii body with a #Vivitar adapter to connect an old 30mm #canon film lens from the 80’s. When canon changed their lens mount, they release an adapter for a couple of years only. Now it is next to impossible to find a canon-made lens adapter for the old glass. I’m pretty pleased with this vivitar one, though! It’s been a long time since I did a deep dive in to current camera tech.
