hey! i hope you like it! i definitely leaned into the pokemon/aesthetics using your sideblogs haha

position: the assigned position you have is a dancer, but you have a unique vocal tone so you do have quite a few lines. also you're in charge of 'aesthetics' so like you manage social media pages (headers deco etc) and also have quite the eye for photography for your members (how to pose them, lighting, clothes etc)

concept: obviously im going to go with something pokemon related as the concept. however i think that would probably be copyrighted, so the concept would be generic trading card game. every member gets a trading card with their stats (singing, rapping, dancing, etc.) and all photocards have stats on the back for that specific comeback, so the pc on front is a regular pc, but turn it over and it can be used in a game. also very similar to sports card collecting. starter packs and booster packs can be bought, so it truly can be used as a game.

group name: going with the concept, the group name is (UR) which im sure you know refers to the rarity of the cards/collectibles, meaning 'ultra rare' so its referring to how great the group and its members are, like its rare and cant be duplicated. there are 9 members (referring to the Power Nine as well as the very beginning of trading card games, starting in the 1990s)

debut song: ohhh its DEFINITELY video game esque, but its not the upbeat games (like mario or stuff like that) but more deep and dark fantasy. the mv is an introduction into your world, introducing each member as well as important items or beasts. the debut is intricate and thorough, so everything is laid out and explained, so comebacks are much easier

fun fact: oh god idk. everythings been so fun this far lol i guess this would be obvious but your fans are called "players" lmao. every year on your debut date, a tournament is held at the company, where fans who signed up play against each other. the winner of the tournament gets to meet the group to get signed cards (which bumps up the power and stuff)

New Writing Sideblog! ✍🏽

Katya's Curse of Indecision

Okay so is anyone else obsessing over the fact that Katya was struggling so hard to pick between Goncharov and Sofia, loving both strongly but in very different ways, and then she lost both of them... (also this isn't talking about whether either of them were healthy for her or not so if you're gonna come on my post to argue about that fuck off)

Sofia and Goncharov were different people who gave her different things and in the end Katya's inability to choose ruined what little time she had with either of them. Can you imagine how cursed she must feel, doomed to fall in love with two different people and then to lose them both before she could even decide which one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with (which would obviously be Sofia if Katya had made up her mind before Sofia died) Like I'm sure it was hard enough torn between two people, two futures, two versions of yourself, but then suddenly she had no one, an unhappy future, and only herself to blame.

Life held it's hands out to Katya, Sofia in one hand and Goncharov in the other, and told her to choose and as Katya reached out Life opened both of it's hands to reveal that they contained nothing.

—about me:

hi, i’m meghna! i often go by meg or m online; i’m fine being called any of those :)

i’m 22 years old, indian-canadian, and i use she/her pronouns!

i started this blog in january of 2021 and i’ve been having a great time ever since

my favourite thing to read and write is fantasy, but i also adore anything to do generally with magic, fairytales, mystery, friendship, and dark academia.

i cannot stress enough how free you are to shoot me a message or an ask any time. i love making new mutuals, getting to know other people’s WIPs/OCs, and talking your ear off about my own stuff.

—my writing:

most of my writing consists of excerpts from my WIP night’s daughter, but there are some excerpts from other pieces sprinkled in here and there as well!

—about my WIP:

my current project is night’s daughter, a YA, LGBTQ+ fantasy novel, and the first in an envisioned trilogy!

i began writing it way back in late 2014/early 2015, and began rewriting the first draft in 2020.

the intro post linked above is a much better summary, but in short: night’s daughter tells the story of Celena, a strange teenage girl who discovers that her own mysterious past is inexplicably linked to a series of dark, ancient secrets, and that the key to warding off the coming evil threatening her kingdom lies within her missing identity.

if you enjoy courtly intrigues, magic, mythology, astrology, LGTBQ+ characters & pairings, and the enemies/rivals to lovers trope, you’ll enjoy night’s daughter.

this blog centres around night’s daughter, but you’ll also see plenty of content featuring other mini-projects and OCs of mine!

most prominently featured is a group of characters affectionately referred to as my magic gang: a group of teens who attend a boarding school for magical creatures. they aren’t part of any real WIP, but i often post stuff about their various shenanigans. you can find these in my masterlist and under the tags magic gang and circle of hurt (the latter being an ongoing piece about them that you’ll see me mentioning quite frequently)

1. What do you prefer to be called name wise? Kelly’s my actual name, but I also go by Murphy and I have zero preference which you use (also shortened versions of either like Kel or Murph are also lovely) :D and it makes me giggle when people call me Lamp hehe

2. When is your birthday? Nov. 5th!

3. Where do you live? Austin, Texas

4. Three things I am doing right now? Fixing to watch Hannibal, drinking root beer, being kept company by my tiny kitty Lib

5. Four fandoms that have piqued my interest: Well, Metalocalypse of course. Hannibal is a new one I’m dipping my toe into. Don’t think I’ll do any art or fic, but I’ve been loving what I’ve seen and read so far. Detroit: Become Human was a huge one for me and I still love checking in on the fandom from time to time and getting nostalgic. Also tonight’s news activated my Mass Effect lust. Give to me all the hot aliens.

6. How has the pandemic been treating you? Uhhhhhhh yeah not great. 8)

8. Recommend a movie: Darren Aronofsky‘s The Fountain, this movie just Speaks to me like nothing else ever really has. I remember leaving the theatre feeling like I had been irreparably changed, and one of the friends I was with was like “well that was fucking stupid” and I was like hmmm :) really now :) and then like the next month we weren’t friends anymore kjgkdfgf funny how that happened

9. How old are you? 35... stick a fork in me, I’m done ;0;

10. School, university, occupation? Um none of the above? lmao covid took my job, know anyone who’s hiring at-home receptionists? dkfgdk I keep thinking I could go back to retail but we’re not in dire enough straits for that yet.

11. Do you prefer heat or cold? Cold usually but it depends. I like feeling warm but I HATE feeling hot and it’s a fine line.

12. Name one fact others may not know about you? Actually I think probably quite a few people know this, but I suck really bad at coming up with random facts about myself - I’m a wrestling nerd. Fucking love wrestling. I’ve been to dozens of shows, Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Ring of Honor a handful of times, and a few local shows because my brother’s old high school friend is a local indie wrestler. My favorite guy in the business right now is Hangman Adam Page (and yes, it’s partially because he’s fucking gorgeous)

13. Are you shy? Depends. There’s a lot of things I’m totally fine with doing and it can fool people into thinking I’m almost extroverted, but then like phone calls and knocks on the door literally break me out in a sweat and make my hands shake, and if I hang out with people I need like a week to recover, so... lmao

14. Preferred pronouns: she/her

Biggest pet peeves: this is an IRL thing, but I have some audio processing shit going on, and then on top of that I fucked up my hearing in my right ear a bit at a Devin Townsend show a few years back (worth it? yes) and sometimes people’s voices can sound muddled if there’s other noises happening too. So it MAKES ME REAL MAD when people who KNOW THIS ABOUT ME will just go “no never mind it’s not important” when I ask them to repeat themselves.

16. What is your favorite "dere" type? Had to look some up and oh noooooo it’s a toss-up :O

The Hinedere (ひねデレ) type refers to characters who have cynical world views, are cold-hearted, and highly arrogant. However, deep down they have a soft side that may reveal itself after their love interest breaks through. (SOUND FAMILIAR LMAO)

The Byoukidere (病気デレ) type refers to a character who is kind and gentle at heart but has a serious illness. They might be confined to a hospital bed, or just simply weak and frail. (OH NO.... ;0;)

17. Rate your life 1-10? maybe a 6? 6.5?

18. What is your main blog? @gatsbygal it runs on a queue right now when i remember to fill it (I’m here too often to remember it hahah, but yeah if you wanna go look thru all my old bad art go right ahead)

20. Is there anything people should know before becoming friends with you? I’ve had people tell me I seemed intimidating at first and this has to be a problem with how I present myself online because people I know IRL consider me somewhere between a cupcake and an overcooked noodle :O maybe I say too many fuckworks and use too many exclamation marks or something haahha but I swear I’m not even remotely cool

"Reblog" - ok this one's p self-explanatory but it's what i tag the posts i reblog with! It's... a tad useless bc 95% of my blog is reblogging but! I've done it for so long it doesn't feel right to just stop dattebayo

"Reblog to spread the word" - these are mainly used on informative posts? But can also be used on posts that are like "hey i hope u have a good day today and u deserve good things" bc i feel that way abt nyall :> oh and it can also b used as a tag for things that are too light-hearted to put in save a life!

"Reblog to save a life" - thsse are posts w p heavy topics! Donation posts also fall into this category bc i kno they can make some feel guilty as they can't donate, n i wanted to put that stuff into a neat lil tag.

"Spread them commissions like butter on bread" - my commissions tag! I rb a lot of commission posts, so if u ever feel generous n donate some muns, then hop into that tag or save a life to find some peeps to throw ur money at!!

"Long Post" - i don't use this one often but i use it for posts that require me to lazily scroll 2+ times to get to the bottom of it! For conveniency, if peeps don't wanna open that can of worms. Oh, and this one can be requested to add to a post! Not sure if i ever said that ('v')b

"The Habby Place" - this used to be called "Happy Vibes", but I changed it to the habby place! There are still some posts tagged as the latter so im sure if u searched that u could find some more, but this is my positivity tag! Posts to look at when ur feelin down abt smth n just wanna look at cute animals or validating posts :D

For friends!

"Okaeri!" - this is my tag for my very poggers friend, franiel!! It's the romanized version of the japanese phrase, "Welcome back!" as their url used to be maidsonas (n maids normally say "welcome back!" to regulars, from what im gatherin)

"Extra! Extra!" - the tag I use for my very good best friend johnny! I kno xem for being into newsies, so i thought abt that n the song Hush Hush Magazine - Tape Five popped up. it's heard in the background of the pre-chorus!

"Zeus' Horny Mistake" - the tag i use for my very good older bro lyle!! U probs won't see this tag much bc i normally use the people tags for like. Posts he made, BUT. i wanted to include it anyways >:)

"J'adore les étoiles" - the tag I use for my very good best friend Air! J'adore les étoiles translate to "I love the stars", which is a song by The Orion Experience (where the line comes from). They also go by Star, which is why I thought of it! Normally used when they send me posts

"Jus a swarm of bees :>" - the tag I use for my very good best friend Bee!! Tbh i was tryin to think of smth more witty when coming up for a tag but that.. was what stuck? So i stuck w it!!

For personal posts!

"Zombie Murmurs" - speaking of posts made by OP, this is my tag for posts i made! You know, like this one ajfjsjf to me it makes sense both as a brian monster prom kinnie (where i get my name from) n also w my url so >:3

"Ask me Anything!" - a tag i use for ask games and when i receive asks! (Very rare lmao)

"Tag You're It" - the tag i use for posts that are like "put your experiences w this thing in the tags" n stuff. If u kno the reference to the tag no u don't ♡ /j

For fandoms!

If i recall, most of them just have the name of the fandom but i kno there are exceptions!! Ill update this as i remember them (like w the other tags too)

Tho i will say that i do put "[series] spoilers" at the end of things often if it's specific so keep that in mind ('v')b

"Leg" - The Legend of Zelda series! Referencing a tumblr post where peeps were editing the cover of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to say things like "Legend of Zegend: Breath of the Weath" to which it got to just "Leg".

"Ryu ga Gotoku" - would u believe me if i said that i made this entire post just to use this point sjfjskf but yaya!! I'm gonna b using this title for the Yakuza game series as i feel it's gonna become a Big interest of mine as time goes on skfjsjf

"Phoenix Wright" - the tag I use for the Ace Attorney series! ... even though ace attorney works just as well - i think phoenix wright: ace attorney first so it's been that tag 😔 thoughhh i have a bad memory so i may switch between that one and "Ace Attorney". I'm sure u can find some content in both tags

A rulla thumb i go by is that I put game content on this blog n anime content on gayhatokareshi! Hyperfixes go on majimasteeth, and the url/theme will prolly change dependin on the hyperfix(es). Currently, my hyperfixes are: Genshin Impact, Ryu ga Gotoku, and The Magnus Archives. I'll prolly post stuff there when someone sends posts to me, but!! Yaya

I was doing better back in March, honestly. It's been a couple of difficult months for me, but I think I'm finally feeling a bit better now. But, overall, I'm tired and anxious and I wish we could go back to normal, but at the same time I understand that measures must be taken in order to reach that goal.

Chewing sounds. I'm generally pretty sensitive to sounds and noises, they can irritate me a lot.

Also being interrupted when I'm trying to do something that requires concentration.

Unexpected physical contact can also make me uncomfortable in some situations, but not always.

People who are too self-centered and only talk about themselves.

16. What is your favorite “-dere” type?

I really don't know much about this stuff 😅 Was it tsundere the "grumpy but actually soft" one? In that case, that one.

Saw this pop up and your followers ask you which ones they’re interested in. But people don’t really ask much when I post or they don’t ask the ones that might make you feel uncomfortable. And well, honestly I’m so bored that I’ve decided to break all the damn rules and just answer all the questions because I can. *shock horror*

So information dump on the ‘Be nosy’ that popped up in my feed today. If you’re interested.

1. What’s your sexual orientation?

Straight. But maybe for the right woman I could sway but wouldn’t go so far as to call myself bi or bi-curious though.

2. What are you obsessed with right now?

Obsessively obsessing about my health and how to get well and failing it all. Oh and anime movies on Netflix.

3. Ever done any drugs?

I do drugs everyday. But I assume this is referring to illegal. No and was strictly no up until recently. I now take marijuana oil on a regular basis for pain management. Also being stoned/high is not pleasant and I don’t understand why people would enjoy that as a leisurely pastime.

4. What piercings do you want?

I want to get my ears pierced again. Holes have closed up, but currently due to my health that’s not possible. I can’t even enjoy clipons :(

5. How many people have you kissed?

The massive number of 5.

6. Describe your dream home.

It’s tiny in the sense it has all the space I need. A cosy tiny-like home. But not one on wheels, fixed to the ground. And it would be made of all natural materials, stone and wood. It would be unique and resemble something out of a fairy tale. It would sit a beautiful clearing with only nature to view in the distance and all the animals and wildlife would stay well away because I’m pretty much terrified of all it,

7. Who are you jealous of?

Healthy, painfree people. I am jealous of past me who didn’t realise how lucky she was and miss her.

8. What’s your favorite show to binge?

I don’t binge any show on repeat. I’d rather look for a new show to watch or enjoy, there are so many. The last shows I binged in two days was Queen’s Gambit and Emily in Paris.

9. Do you watch porn?

Yep. But struggle with it because it’s overdramatic, unrealistic and would kill or someone to make porn with a decent storyline with people that can act.

I prefer to read it if I’m honest or maybe just write it for myself.

10. Do you have a secret sideblog?

Sort of? More like my other one I used I was known for all my slash writings in F1. But now I just hang out here.

11. If you could teleport anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

No where. The world is riddled with co-vid and well, I’m probably in one of the safest countries and I’m at risk of death should I catch it. So I’ll stay here in my safe bubble.

12. What’s one of your fantasies?

I wake up tomorrow and I’m not me. I wake up and I can take a deep breath without gasping for air, I wake up in no pain, I wake up and my body isn’t terribly scared, I wake up and can have a ‘normal’ life.

13. Do you have/would you get your nipples pierced?

Nope and no desire too. Won’t that just hurt?

14. How would you spend a million dollars?

I’d by that dream house I described, set everything up to be self sufficient. Pay and travel to try every cure available for my diseases. And then bank the rest and live off interest. Or maybe donate it. I don’t want money and I don’t really want a lot of things.

15. Are you in a relationship?

Yep and it’s a struggle and am constantly fighting to prove it’s worth continuing. Oh and that’s a relationship with myself.

No.

17. Are you angry with anyone right now?

No, I suppose it’s more disappointed and let down by people more than angry. I’m working everyday on letting it go but it’s not easy.

18. What tattoos do you want?

I have always wanted one, but have never found something that I really loved and haven’t been imaginative enough to create something unique. The older I get though, I’m not sure I want one. I did for the longest time though think about getting a Ferrari tattooed on my inner wrist, but pleased I never did that. I don’t love the sport or Ferrari enough anymore to want a permanent reminder of that.

19. If you could change your name, would you? What would you change it to?

I am changing name actually. Hoping to action that in the next two weeks. I would have done it earlier but they closed the borders. I have a dutch sir name that has two words. It confuses every one, systems don’t get it, it has caused issues with plane tickets. And well I’ve decided no more and am dumping a portion of it.

20. What is something you’re obsessed with?

This is a duplicate. Skipping.

21. Describe your best friend.

When you meet her for the first time she can be a little crazy and wild, and she kind of scared at me first because she’s so unlike me. But as you got to know her, the *real* her she doesn’t let people see, you realise how kind and soft she is, and she’s the most empathic person I have known. She gives so much of herself to everyone, thinks so little of herself and her needs because she’s one of the most selfless people I know. I love her more than most of my family and would do anything for her.

Is this followers? Uh most I don’t know what they look like? I assume they’re all hot!

23. Who are five of your favorite bands/musical artists?

Don’t have any really. My music is varied and is based on my mood and really changes around. And with most bands, I generally lean towards one or two songs. This is one of those questions I really struggle with whenever I see it. Will say however, have been enjoying The Beatles recently and a bit of old school stuff.

24. What are three places you want to travel?

Japan. Norway. Canada.

25. Describe your perfect Friday night.

Generally hanging out with people I like. Enjoying a good wine, some cheese, either playing some board game or dungeons and dragons, or watching a really good movie. Good company makes any night a good night.

26. What’s your favorite season?

Autumn. One because I think it’s neglected as a choice and every season should be loved, and two because I love the colours of autumn and the colours associated with autumn.

27. What’s your pet peeve?

I’m sure I have a heap of them, but currently it’s people that have an issue with you and instead of being an adult and talking to you about them choose to silence and blank you. I’m so tired of it, I’ve quit being peacemaker in those situations, those people are no longer worthy in my book.

28. Who is the funniest person you know?

Uh... I don’t think anyone I know is super funny. Friends and family all have a good sense of humor. But out of my circle of life people I’m always told I’m the funny one, which I find the biggest joke ever.

29. What’s the most overrated movie?

Can not think of anything off the top of my head. I will say if I think a movie is getting too much hype I refuse to watch it, whether all the reviews are raving or not. It’s why I didn’t watch Harry Potter for like ten years or any of the new Star Wars movies. I just refuse to be apart of all the hype and jump on bandwagons.

30. Tag someone you want to talk to but have been too shy to message.

I’d love to talk to everyone. I’m shy to start any conversations to be honest and I think all the people I talk to regularly were the first to message me, and I love them for it.

31. Do you like paper books or ebooks better?

100% love an old fashioned paper book. The texture of the paper. The smell of a book. That being said, I don’t think I’ve picked up a proper book to read in years. I live in fan fiction more than anything or am busy writing myself.

32. If you could live in a fictional world, what world would you pick?

Any of the disney worlds, anything from the past, or verging on fantasy like. I want a simpler time not full of technology which I grow to hate more each day. The older I get the more I’m pretty sure I’ve been born in the wrong decade.

33. If money was no object, what would your wardrobe be like?

I’d build the perfect wardrobe capsule. Everything would be of high quality, not necessarily brand name and all the clothes would be sourced from ethical businesses or be handmade.

I like classic pieces, love the fashion of the 50′s and 60s and while stylish it would be comfortable to wear and everything could be worn in public (sorry comfy tracky pants).

34. What’s your coffee order?

There ain’t no coffee order. I don’t drink it. Sorry @leoni-speedyf1 I know how addicted you are to it, happy to buy you anything you like though :P

35. Do you have a crush on anyone?

In real life? No one.

36. Do you still have feelings for any of your exes?

Not romantic. I have feelings in that I hope they’re doing well, achieving what they want and they’re all happy. I didn’t have any ‘bad’ breakups and all my relationships ended very amicably.

No. See above for more on this.

38. Do you drink?

Rarely. Can’t with medication and condition. But on occasion I do enjoy a good glass of red. Pinot Noir is my preference.

Nope.

Not in a romantic way? The ones I talk to regularly I love immensely though.

Uh all the men I know I am not attracted to. Probably a good thing as they’re either family or partnered with a friend or family member.

Can’t think of anything. I try not to feel guilt for anything I enjoy to be honest, whether it’s food or an activity. Life is too short for that.

Yep. Even write it.

45. What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on?

It was a few years back. I met this guy online and we went to the city and spent most of that time just strolling next to the river for our first meet up. Why was it the worst date ever? Well it wasn’t the location that’s for sure.

The guy had two kids, and I’m a firm believer all parents have favourites, though I have yet to meet a parent that will voice that aloud. This guy, had no qualms with telling me about this favourite kid, and that wouldn’t be a problem if didn’t spend just as much putting down his younger son. It kind of left me reeling and wondering how his son felt if his dad didn’t hide just how much he didn’t like him as a person. The kid was four and the reason his dad didn’t like him was because he didn’t like bikes.

And so the guy was a bmx rider so he spent the rest of the time on our walk just pointing out all the tricks he could do. He didn’t ask about me, only talked about himself. It was also lunch time and assumed we would get something to eat together, but nope, no food was offered. And when I suggested to get something to drink because it was so hot and we’d been out in the sun for like an hour, he just took me to a subway and told me to get a drink and waved me to the line. No offer to join me, no offer to pay (which doesn’t bother me btw, but this was capping off a terrible day), no offer to get food.

I was so happy to get out of there. Didn’t speak to him again once I had left.

46. How many people do you follow?

I currently follow 59 people. I don’t follow anyone that creates drama, and try and follow only people that post about F1 as that’s all I use tumblr for now.

47. If you could marry any celebrity, who would you pick?

Either Sebastian Vettel or Ryan Reynolds. Both are married though, so I don’t think that’s going to turn into a reality anytime soon.

48. Describe your ideal partner.

I want someone that shares the same core values as me. Doesn’t want kids, isn’t super religious (grew up in a cult like religion so I avoid it now), is on the minimalist side and isn’t someone that needs new things things all the time or is desperate to replace something the moment they deem it out of date. Someone that doesn’t live their life on social media. Someone that prefers simple things, someone who is kind and giving, and someone that truly loves me - and it’s the last part that I struggle with finding more than anything with all the guys I have dated.

I am currently not looking for a partner, I am not in a place for a relationship and am fully focused on myself. And I am very content with that decision.

Currently my bestie.

I have been fortunate enough to do all of these, save the last. blog established: god, august 2011 I believe. random fact: most people didn’t realise I’d cut my hair to my jawline for months because thanks to years of dance I am an expert at putting my hair in various types of buns and making those buns look at least semi-substantive (aka like I actually have enough hair to do it traditionally, which I don’t), and because I hit the gym a lot, I usually have my hair up. so when I wore it down, I had ten different people tell me it looked great and asked when I cut it, even though I’d cut it over a month ago. also, I’m a natural redhead of sorts (I was born with three different hair colours and right now if I let it grow out it would be a golden-brown auburn, which is very annoying since red hair is hard to cover with dye). gender: female. current time: 21:21 (9:21 PM) favourite artists: I assume this means music? nightwish, loreena mckennitt, fidil, powerwolf, stoneburner, delain, thomas tallis, william byrd, palestrina, arash, lindsey stirling, scorpions, within temptation, kamelot, clamavi de profundis, etc. stuck in my head: uist tramping song. last movie I saw: some like it hot (1959) last thing I googled: indian act amendments. other blogs: I have a couple sideblogs, largely for storing things. do I get asks?: not often anymore, unfortunately. reason for URL: I wanted a more neutral URL that wasn’t specific to any one thing, and of course, I can never resist a good plague doctor reference. followers/following: I just hit 1850 followers today (it’s actually been sitting consistently in the 1800 range for about five years now), and following 105 blogs! lucky number: seven. currently wearing: army green leggings, my faculty of law fleece sweater, and two ankle braces. dream job: truthfully I always wanted to dance professionally, but was physically barred from it due to chronic injuries. I also wanted to be a stage performer re singing, but I’m not cutthroat with music and hate competing witth music, so, lawyer, and published author of historical fiction. favourite foods: fish, milchreis, strawberries, oatmeal, irish stew, ice cream, carrots & hummus, curries. instruments: piano, clarinet (e flat, bass), oboe, saxophone (alto, tenor). I’m also a singer (coloratura soprano with a four octave vocal range). favourite song: many, including die schatten werden länger from elisabeth das musical; last of the wilds by nightwish; the highwayman by loreena mckennitt; allegri’s miserere; jyn erso & hope suit by michael giacchino; the red baron by sabaton; joey batey’s redition of toss a coin to your witcher; and various folk songs and old historical bits including ai vis lo lop, non é gran cousa, the rocky road to dublin, star of the county down, twa recruitin’ sergeants, etc.
