I've got a lot going on atm and I am Very Tired all the time, but I am here to say ☝
Finn and Valmont are doomed yaoi. That's all. They're breaking up in my Google docs as we speak. I am physically incapable of writing them having a healthy relationship, they always end up toxic and I am here for it.

Rated: G
Pairing: dark hand polycule (Chow/Finn/Ratso/Tohru/Valmont)
Word Count: ~500
A/N: sorry this is late, prompt "no one wants to leave the cuddle pile" for @ot3-week
It’s a slow day for crime. At least, a slow day for the Dark Hand. The day is dreary, San Francisco’s fog blanketing the city and making it difficult enough to see that anyone who doesn’t need to be out isn’t. The five of them are curled into each other on the large bed. Valmont shifts under his human blankets, the only one awake. There is a need making itself known, low in his gut, making him shift. He’s comfortable and doesn’t want to move, but he has to use the bathroom.
“Ratso, Finn, move.” Valmont shoves at them. They both shift, just barely, but not enough to dislodge them. He shoves at them again, harder. “Move.” The only thing it accomplishes is Ratso snuggling in closer, his face going into Valmont’s neck, and Finn shifting so his knee rests directly on his bladder. Valmont could cry. Or scream.
“Finn move your knee.” Valmont tries to kick him, but largely fails because of Ratso’s weight on his other side. He shoves at Finn’s knee instead. It wakes him up just enough for him to glare at him, which is rude because he is not the one shoving his knee into someone’s bladder while they’re trying to leave the bed to use the bathroom.
“Go back to sleep,” Finn grumbles, speech slurred with tiredness.
“I would love to,” Valmont says. “But first, I’d like to relieve myself.”
Finn snorts lightly at the usage of ‘relieve’, before his breathing evens out and he starts to snore softly. Valmont groans. Of course it wouldn’t be so easy. Finn didn’t even have the grace to move his leg. Valmont shifts, scooting his lower body out of the way, making Ratso shift into Tohru. Tohru makes a confused sound Valmont latches onto.
“Tohru, help,” Valmont hisses, only to feel utter betrayal as Tohru fades back to sleep immediately. He throws his head back into his pillows, not sinking into them so much as he is drowning. There is a huff on his other side, next to Finn. Before he knows it there is a shift of the mattress, Finn grumbling again, and he is being grabbed around the waist and pulled from the pile like he weighs nothing. He flails on instinct, though he knows who it is. Within seconds he is on the outside of their cuddle pile. “Chow?!”
“Stop complaining and go pee,” Chow says tiredly, squinting at him. Valmont can’t tell if it’s because he’s half awake or because he’s not wearing his glasses. Valmont bristles at the elementary wordage and rolls the rest of the way off the mattress, Chow removing his arms from around his waist so he can.
When he returns from the bathroom, he climbs in next to Chow instead of returning to the middle. It makes Chow laugh. Valmont hits him for it. (It only makes Chow laugh more, before they both go back to sleep.)

and here is what i've been working on all the time. YEEEEES, jca again and YES again in collab with genshin. the idea came into my head very randomly, but i loved it so much that i began to draw it like crazy xD finn is now a great magician with a kitty behind his back (i'm talking about chow now)))000)0)), ratso is a very shy diver, and their boss valmont has turned into "the knave" with a gorgeous suit and apparently also with not bad nails xDDDD. i love how everything matched not only characters but also with lore…. 🥺🥺🥺

Since I've seen people pair up the enforcers with each other, either as a polycule or with OCs, I have happened to notice nobody has tried to pair Hak Foo up with canon characters in the show so I'll do it.
I know he's not everyone's favorite but he's mine so shut up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hak and Valmont - Considering the fact that Valmont placed Hak as his favorite over the other enforcers (even though that was never really explored in the show outside of the Eighth Door episode), gave him a higher - ranking job over them (probably paid him more too) and had him stuck by his side as a bodyguard in the video game makes me believe something's going on with him and Valmont.
Ya'll cannot tell me Valmont hasn't had fantasies about his men (looking at you Finn) and just because I said Hak would be unaware of the enforcers' polycule doesn't mean that he's not gay himself.
I headcanon him as a raging Bisexual, he just gives off that energy to me.
(I've said before that he's oblivious to women's advances towards him, he doesn't have interest in getting with anyone regardless of gender due to the line of work he's in and that he was sheltered from love at a young age but that doesn't mean he hasn't had ideas or fantasies about it, like I said he doesn't express any emotion outside of anger, sass, concern or super pissed so he's definitely the type who wouldn't know how to express love)
Just your typical boss x assistant/bodyguard smut.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hak and Ratso - Given the fact that Ratso seems to be the one to butt heads with Hak the most (and interact with him for that matter), they give vibes of the rivals that hate each other, see who can piss each other off more and then tease them to death about it (Hak's usually the recipient of the teasing and he hates it).
Even though there's not much since the show liked to write in Hak Foo whenever they felt like it, I feel like this holds some water.
Also Ratso's "Big Guy" comment towards Hak Foo in the Ox Head Incident is definitely giving off fruity vibes (yes I know the others joined in on the teasing but let me have my fun ok)
(I am well aware that Ratso would probably deny Hak's feelings since Hak is genuinely a destructive person to be around and the fact that the others in the Enforcers' polycule are terrified of him they'd definitely not want to accept Hak unless he makes a change in attitude.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hak and Jackie - There's no escaping this pairing, the rivals that hate each other but are also madly in love is strong with this one.
Hak's little gay ass "here I am" once Jackie called his name in Armor of Gods definitely set something off in me, if someone calls your name and you reply with this much excitement you're definitely in love.
Hak always wanting to be the one to give Jackie a spanking as well also is a huge indicator.
Tumblr media
His "I want to Ram you" line in Shrink Rap is another huge indicator to me that he's the dom in this relationship.
Tumblr media
Another scene from Shrink Rap (I WANT YOU TO STOMP ON ME SO BAD)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The fact that he also has dolls of Jackie in his gym is kinda cute also, he went through all this trouble just to make them look accurate just to destroy them lol.
Tumblr media
(Honorable Mention) Hak and Torhu - Literally just Rivals to Lovers, similar to Hak and Ratso.
Tumblr media
I've also got an OC in the works to pair up with Hak Foo as well, she's female so there will be more female representation in the show because they were often pushed to the side or just nonexistent.
Also we need more evil women period.
Tumblr media
(He may be allowed to step on me but I am also allowed to step on him)

While rewatching Jackie Chan's Adventures, I came to the logical (for a crossover) conclusion that Sector 13 is most likely a division of the SCP Foundation tasked with investigating low-stakes cases of the supernatural.
This also gave me the horrid, post-series idea/au where the Dark Hand Enforcers are demoted to D-Class personel as part of their parole upon attempting to "join the good guys".
Finn, already in the iconic SCP orange jumpsuit: "Hey! Whats the big deal?!"
Captain Black: "You three alone performed multiple terroist acts, wide scale robbery and destruction, and have actively aided in the near-destruction of human civilisation."
Ratso: "In our defence; a bunch of dragons and a wizard told us to do it."
Captain Black: "Sorry fellas. The O5 Council consider omnicidal cronyism worth about a couple of years of parole. You'll be reporting to Dr Bright from here on out."
Cue the Enforcer trio trying their best to survive the deadly world of the SCP Foundation. And maybe retaining abilities from their contact with the 12 Talismans.
Hak Foo has parole as a foundation custodian - which annoys the trio as he gets more perks and doesnt have to clean out SCP-173's cell.
Valmont appears ofc, as another D-Class. Forced to interact with his former henchmen as equals whilst also trying to keep Shendu out of his head.

Never trust a demon
Especially if they’re from Jackie Chan Adventures
In Season One, Valmont provides the statuesque Shendu with all twelve of his talismans (which Jackie Chan stole at Valmont’s behest) and thus frees him from his petrification. Once free however, Shendu reneges on their previously agreement and refuses to provide Valmont with the lost treasure of Ching Xi Hung.
“Regrettably, Valmont, you did not provide me with the talismans. Jackie Chan did.”
Shendu justifies this reneger through a minor technicality that has no validity-that it was Jackie that obtained the talismans and not Valmont’s men. A ludicrous distinction, seeing as Chan was in Valmont’s employ at the time and was acting as his agent as much as Finn, Ratso or Chow were. This is clearly a pretext to refuse Valmont his rightful reward, indicating that Shendu never planned to give Valmont a single coin. Incidentally, by doing this, Shendu has much in common with another fictional dragon, who’s name shall not be mentioned here.
This first act of betrayal sets the tone for the dishonouring of demonic promises in the series. Ironically enough, the next person to suffer from the reneger of a demonic promise is Shendu himself.
After being destroyed by Jade Chan and being consigned to the Netherworld as a spirit, Shendu is at the mercy of his vengeful siblings. He only manages to forestall their wrath by promising to free them from their prison. While the seven siblings agree, they devise a contingency which traps Shendu within the first mortal he possesses, promising to free him only after he opens all seven of their portals.
Fast forward to several months later, when Shendu and his minions open the seventh and final demon portal in Rome. Only to be flatly denied his release by his sister, despite the previous agreement.
Po Kong, Xiao Fung, Tchang Zu, Dai Gui, His Wu, Tso Lan and finally Bai Tsa were all released from the Netherworld by the efforts of their disembodied brother. And every one of those demons, through no fault of Shendu’s, found themselves banished once more within hours or days of their release.
Po Kong never even managed to leave the courtyard where she was released, before the elder Chan’s spell sent her right back to the Netherworld. Xiao Fung never left the prison walls into which he was freed before being sent back to the void. Tchang Zu wreaked havoc in Hollywood for a couple hours before being cast back into his portal. Dai Gui rampaged around Spain for less than a day before being exiled once more. Hsi Wu was the exception to his siblings in that he was able to stay free for a couple days, before sharing their fates. Tso Lan spent perhaps an hour outside the Netherworld before being whisked back. Bai Tsa was the smartest of the lot and managed to outmaneuver the Chans twice, but eventually was also hunted down and banished again.
All these demons squandered their brief freedom by blundering around the mortal world, blind to any dangers that existed to them-namely Uncle Chan and his chi spells, overwhelmingly arrogant in their own power. By the time Bai Tsa emerged from her portal in Spain, the other six demon sorcerers had been freed by their brother and reimprisoned just as quickly.
All six demons were furious at the abbreviated nature of their short-lived freedom, but they had no one but themselves to blame for their return to the pit. Had they acted differently, found a stronghold to hide in and built up their knowledge and strength, they could have survived and prospered in the modern world. As it was, they blundered around, drunk on their own power and found that their strength and magic did nothing to prevent their banishment.
Having learned nothing from centuries of incarceration, the six re-imprisoned demons blamed others for their lack of freedom as did their yet-to be freed sister. Specifically, their brother, as if Shendu had anything to do with their renewed banishment.
Thus, when Bai Tsa was released and Shendu asked her to release the spell she and the others had placed upon him, he was met with a flat refusal. Just as Shendu had cited a ridiculous technicality to deny Valmont his due, Bai Tsa cited a similar one to deny Shendu his just reward.
“You dare request your freedom? Six demon sorcerers remain trapped in the void!”
Similar to Valmont’s claim, Shendu is completely in the right here. The agreement was that he would free all seven of his siblings. He did so, by using the Pan Ku box to open all of their portals, one by one. After releasing Bai Tsa, Shendu’s part of the bargain was complete. But, as the demons were seriously dissatisfied with the scant hours of freedom they had received, they chose to take their displeasure out on their brother by denying him what he wanted. After all, if they had to suffer imprisonment for eternity, so should he.
This is another prime example of demons dealing in bad faith. A refusal to honour a bargain after it has been struck and one party has fulfilled their obligation is a prime example of untrustworthiness and reneger.
Shendu’s reputation for this sort of dishonesty does not seem to spread among the supernatural community, as a year later, a dark chi wizard strikes up a new bargain with the still-disembodied Shendu.
Daolon Wong agrees to reincarnate Shendu in a new body on Earth, in exchange for the Dragon power which is currently adrift on the magical winds. Wong holds up his end of the bargain and reincarnates Shendu in a new body. But mere moments after Shendu opens his eyes and the Dragon power emerges, Wong finds himself thrown aside as Shendu claims this promised power for himself.
“While I may be a noble dragon, I am also a demon sorcerer and not known for keeping promises.”
Wong gets his revenge on Shendu by sharing a spell with the Chans that returns Shendu to stone mere hours after his rebirth. But this final betrayal proves, once and for all, that demons cannot be trusted to honour their words.
Shendu and Bai Tsa’s renegers have a veneer of justification on the basis of flimsy technicalities. But once Shendu is reborn, he does away with even this pretence and confirms outright what we’ve known all along. Demons cannot be trusted to honour their promises and will only ever do what is in their own best interest.

dark hand headcanons while I'm thinking about them
Chow is second generation american, he was born in California and has lived in San Francisco his entire life
Chow watched Grease or a movie similar once when he was a little kid, loved the male lead and decided to model his entire life off of him
Ratso is first generation american, he was born in Italy but moved here when he was young
He still remembers his old house and the family tries to go back to Italy at least once a year to visit family. He has many cousins
Valmont is also first generation american, but his family never went back to england after they moved, even to visit
Ratso's really good at math
Finn did roller derby when he first turned eighteen. He was good and his team won a number of rallies, but he quit after only a short time
