Hiccanna OTP Questions

Soooo, I had already done this with Klance (before I became obsessed with Renga) and @hiccanna-tidbits wanted me to do it with Hiccanna as well so here's me doing it after forgetting about it for a year. Keep in mind, I originally started this last year after I graduated. Sooo, I don’t really have any good reason for not doing it until now. And with Hiccanna Month being in 5 days, I thought I might as well.

1. Who loves flower crowns more?

Well, I remember that back when I first got into Hiccanna and modern ROTBTFD (back in 2014), it was very common to see Anna with a flower crown. And as a personal flower crown admirer, Anna would love them, no doubt in my mind.

2. Who is the one who likes to cuddle?

I wanna have some fun with this one. So, we all know that Hiccup would be extremely touch starved, as he had a terrible childhood, so I like to imagine that it’s something he would be really shy about. Meanwhile Anna would just bring him into a cuddle session any chance she gets, especially when she’s feeling upset about something.

3. Who has awful taste in music?

Hmm, I’m sure they would both argue that the other person has a worst taste, despite being somewhat similar. Which is the complete opposite of me and my own boyfriend. But if we’re talking specific taste in music specifically? Anna would likely have a mix of happy pop music-good ol’ show tunes, which is more my style all things considered. Meanwhile my boy Hicc? I think he would have a good mix of good orchestra and rock partly inspired by my boyfriend.

5. How did their second date go?

A very specific question, how did I answer it so easily last time? Anyways~ I would say that their first date might have been more lowkey than the movies would portray as a first date, like they just go out to dinner and then dance in a park. (I consider that lowkey) While their second date would include Hiccup showing Anna a cool site that she’s never seen before, ie a hidden waterfall.

6. How many children do they want/have?

Anna would definitely want to have 2 kids, although not until they’re both in their 30s at the very latest. Both of them are explorers with important responsibilities, so they would want to wait.

7. Who hides the weapons?

While Anna is the more innocent-looking of the two, she would have an absolutely terrible poker face, so I gotta go with Hiccup. Who knows where he hides stuff just in his flight suits?!

8. Who is the better dancer?

Anna is a princess, so has likely had a professional teacher that taught her how, and we do see it briefly in both films. Hiccup...I can’t exactly say he would be the best dancer.

9. Do/Did they have a theme wedding?

These two dorks would 100% have a theme wedding! Anna is a huge romantic and would want to make sure that their special day is as special as they are to each other. I think her and Elsa would find a way to combine both their lands traditions into one, including honoring their parents. When Hiccup sees it decorated for the first time, you better believe that his eyes start to well up.

10. What do their parents think of them dating?

I believe it depends on the AU, first and foremost.

Stoick probably would’ve like Anna too much at first, since she is a lot more bubbly compared to any Viking back on Berk. But I don’t doubt that as soon as he sees her fight in a battle to protect Hiccup, his mind would change in an instant. While Valka would love her, appreciating her as a fighter and having the compassion that’s similar to hers and her son’s.

Agnarr and Iduna would adore Hiccup, whether they’re alive or not, just happy to see someone that is able to make their darling daughter act in a somewhat different way, and you better believe that they notice all the time of the way he looks at her. The only time I can see them not really liking him at first would be...I can’t remember right now, but there is one idea I came up with once! Let’s add Elsa in this, because why not? She’s always alive, unlike their aunts or their parents. In, say, my pirate Hiccup au? Elsa doesn’t like the idea of Anna being with a pirate at all, especially when Anna’s supposed to choose between three suitors. Elsa in general would be fairly neutral to Hiccup, still fairly protective of her sister, but does admire his intelligence. Besides, they totally team up against Anna when she does something dumb XD

11. Are they a super sappy couple?

I honestly have a different definition of super sappy couple compared to most people. Yes, those annoyingly lovey dovey couples are annoying as hell (they took most of the hallway when I went to school -_-), I wouldn’t describe these two as that. Sure, they do a lot of PDA and have fun with their flirting, they are just normal when they talk about or to each other once they get together. So I would classify them as a sappy couple, but it depends on how you define that, in my opinion.

12. How did they get together?

Again, there’s various aus. Most of the time they’re best friends to lovers, so endless pining. But I don’t really want to go into too much detail without going into detail with my prompts for HA month or my fanfics in general.

13. Who asked the other to get married?

Ok, picture this: They both propose to each other at the same time(not in my main story), since they both had these great proposals planned for the other so they just want to give the other the chance to feel the love they have.

14. Who stays up too late and makes stupid jokes?

Hiccup does make the occasional stupid jokes, don’t get me wrong. But Anna? That girl can’t sleep properly to save her life, so she comes up with different jokes or dumb questions so that they can keep talking.

15. Who is the nerd?

…Hiccup is literally called dragon nerd. Anna is intelligent in certain ways, believe me, but Hiccup is a different breed.

16. Who knows the most obscure facts?

Hiccup again! That guy has so much knowledge about dragons and from when he tests his inventions, so when he just goes on and on about it? It kinda gets Anna going a little, while also being confused as hell on how he keeps everything in that big brain of his.

17. Who makes the other a flower crown?

Anna is better at it, but Hiccup would probably practice it just to make her happy. Imagine her surprise when she finds Hiccup studying on different flowers, twigs, and vines so that he can make the perfect flower crown.

18. Who likes to read?

They both do! It’s canon that Anna read up every book in Arendelle to provide herself entertainment while she was trapped in the castle. While Hiccup has read every book (probably written some himself) on dragons, leather, metal, you name it! Anything that relates to his expertise. He probably likes to learn more, while Anna will reread her favorites the most.

19. Who bothers the other person while the other person reads?

…As that person that is that person to their significant other, I feel personally attacked. XD So the easy answer is Anna, who can be like a clingy puppy. Plus Hiccup tends to be a workaholic, so he can lose track of time. Anna being like a puppy isn’t always a bad thing.

20. Who tutors the other?

It’s one of my favorite romantic tropes! That would be Hiccup, which is a big part of two of my main modern aus.

21. Do they have similar taste in movies?

I’m sure they both love grand fantasy stories, so that is something that I’m sure they take every chance to find in the cinema/streaming services. Aside from that, Anna probably like romance and chick flicks, while Hiccup might enjoy mysteries a bit more.

22. How do their personalities compliment each other?

I’ll be honest, @hiccanna-tidbits covers that way better than I could ever. They’re absolutely perfect for each other, one hundred percent. But I really don’t want to seem like I’m copying them. So, the simple answer is: YES.

23. How do they tell everyone that they are going to be having a kid/adopting a child soon?

Knowing Anna, I think she would accidentally tell Elsa or Rap first, which means that word gets around faster than they anticipated.

24. Who has better fashion sense?

Hiccup, he literally makes his own outfits. And I love to imagine him trying to make a flight suit for Anna, but struggles to get her measurements because she can’t stand still. Elsa and Mavis have far better style, just thought I should mention that.

25. Who will punch someone out if they are rude to their partner?

I think this post says it the best XD Anyone that dares insult Anna is met with a broken nose five seconds later! Especially if it’s Snotlout, she would only barely tolerate his existence.

26. What songs do they sing together in the vehicle?

Probably any song from the early 2000s (like a Teenage Dream duet or Good Time, or a fanmade song that they both managed to come across like the Discord remix). Even any Taylor Swift song, and Hiccup’s totally fine with it.

27. What other couple would your otp get along with?

To be fair, I have a bunch of ships that could apply to this. Even ships I don’t personally like too much apply. When it comes to ones I like, I would like they would probably double date with Snow White and Rapunzel. In fact, they do in my college au.

28. Who likes to prank the other?

I can see them pranking each other, like how Anna would probably for more basic pranks, whereas if Hiccup really, really wanted to, he would go all out with it. Probably would even enlist help from Jack. Hiccup would only do it once, since he doesn’t like making her feel bad.

29. Who is the one who loves to take pictures?

That would be Anna, the most eccentric. Knowing her, she would want to take pictures of everything. Especially when it comes to just repeatedly shoving it in her friends’ faces.

30. How would they react if they found out they were soulmates?

Hmm, I’m not entirely sure how to answer this question. Because on one hand, I absolutely adore soulmate aus. On the other hand however, I like the idea of them choosing to be together, regardless of what the universe might tell them. Especially given that Hiccup likely wouldn’t believe in them.

But in this case, I’ll just say that Anna would absolutely ecstatic and give him a great big kiss. (Think of this as they’ve known each other for awhile) And she grins at him, whispering “I’ve always known it was you for me.”

31. Where would they live?

I have thought about this for them before, and it confuses me every time. The easy answer is if Elsa is the queen of Arendelle, then Anna would be with Hiccup in Berk. But what if Elsa dies? Would they have to endure a long distance relationship?

That’s what happens when I’m alone too long at work.

32. What type of dragon would they own, if they could have one?

Hiccup already has one? Toothless! As for Anna, I feel like she'd like a Stoker Class dragon, if she had to have one of her own.

33. If they were both vampires, what type of vampires would they be?

Nope! Not doing this! All I'll say is Anna is actually vampire royalty in my vampire au. I don't want to look into this.

34. What would they dress up as for Halloween?

While I don't think Hiccup would like Halloween (I mean, I don't either) but will do a couples costume to make Anna happy. Which would range from MJ and Spidey, book characters and even fairytale couples.

35. Can they name each other’s favourite food?

Yep! Easily. Hiccup always makes her sandwiches for lunch and puts a small chocolate cupcake in for a special edition. And Anna loves getting crabcakes for him.

36. Do they have pet names for one another?

Absolutely.

Hiccup: baby blue, hon/honey, shortstack, angel, and my sunshine

Anna: hon/honey, sweetheart, emerald, dork, nerd, and nerd in shining armor. (I'm still working on hers)

37. How do they cheer each other up?

Isn't this another question later on down? Whatever, I think a lot of reassurance on both their ends, but they would try and be goofy to try and make one another smile.

38. Do they show a lot of PDA?

While they are an extremely affectionate couple, I think Hiccup would want to keep it private for the most part. Unless they're trying to annoy people into going away. But they are not very subtle about it

39. How old were they when they got together?

Again, I think it depends on the au. They're usually childhood friends to lovers in my stories, since it works really well for them. If it's only high school, they would get together then. But I feel like they would be too afraid to confess so it would be in adulthood for most.

40. Who is the one that would bring the puppy home?

Anna probably would, since Hiccup would be more into birds and cats.

41. Can they do yoga couple’s poses?

I think they'd try a couple of times before giving up.

42. What is their song?

I'm honestly going to go with Taylor Swift's Enchanted. It's such a magical and romantic song. Then again it's one of my favorite TS songs so I think they'd enjoy it.

43. What does their room look like?

I'm not sure honestly, Hiccup would probably be more organized while Anna is slightly messy. Hiccup acts like a mom so he would keep it clean. But they would have a bookshelf, two desks that are faced towards each other with a TV set in front of their bed.

44. Who would be the one to kill zombies while the other keeps them grounded?

Anna would be yelling battle cries while slicing through them. And Hiccup would be so turned on by this. But seriously, he’s the one that comes up with all the plans.

45. Who makes the other breakfast in bed?

Hiccup usually does, but Anna will try for his birthday (even if it's a leap year birthday).

46. Who loves kids more?

Anna. I think Hiccup can handle them and does like them, but Anna is very much like a child as well so she relates to them easily.

47. Do either of them have a crazy ex?

*looks over at Hans* All signs point to yes.

48. What are their favourite colours?

While both of them have more than one favorite, I'd go with green actually. It's a big part of both their color schemes and Anna looks absolutely stunning in it. But Hiccup also likes black, red and browns, while Anna likes warmer colors, like orange and magenta.

49. Who likes to cook?

So here's the thing: I think Anna would be more in charge of baking around the kitchen while Hiccup handles the actual cooking of meals. It's cute, leave me alone.

50. Who is the forgetful one?

Anna, but I'm partly projecting here.

51. Does either of them know how to fight?

Oh hell yeah! Obviously Hiccup can. But people often forget that Anna is a badass, just bc she doesn't have powers doesn't mean she can't hold her own in a fight!

52. What do they do for Valentine’s Day?

I feel like they would do a really sweet and casual date like a picnic on a blanket fort while watching a movie. And of course, they eat sandwiches and chocolate treats.

53. Who swears more?

Hiccup, as he canonically swears and his VA does as well. Anna tries to all the time but taking from The Good Place, she only swears in very adorable ways. Like "What the fork?"

54. Who has the better comebacks?

Hiccup.

55. Who would start a fight with another parent at a bake sale?

Anna, Hiccup would have to hold her back. While Merida and Jack would be filming in the background while trying not to die.

56. Who reads buzzfeed?

Anna, 100%. Hiccup would find it so ridiculous but finds enjoyment in making fun of it.

57. Who is the hopeless romantic?

Honestly, they both are. Which makes me so happy.

58. Do either of them know how to do a handstand?

They do, but they can't do it XD This is klutzy Anna and peg-legged Hiccup we're talking about!

59. Who can rap better?

Idk why, but gut feeling is Anna. Kristen seems like she can nail that

60. Do either of them want to go sky diving?

Yes. That is all.

61. What do they usually text about?

Random shit, Anna would send the most random things or whatever they both like as well. While Hiccup might send loving quotes or random facts.

62. Who is the dramatic one?

They both have that iconic dramatic flair, while having no control over it XD I love that about them both, but Anna is more likely to go even more above and beyond with it.

63. Is either one confrontational?

While Anna is a warm and caring person, she probably has her moments and doesn't mean to be. She can't read social queues well, which means that she can blurt things out without thinking.

64. What is their favourite cuddle position?

Hmm, if they’re sleeping, it would probably turn into the pillow replacement. But if we’re talking just cuddling specifically, it would be any sloth-like position or ones that let Hiccup lay his head on Anna’s breasts.

65. Who are their favourite musical artist(s)?”

Taylor Swift and One Direction, it just feels like they would love these artists for love songs and the lowkey styles. But I can see them also enjoying the Piano Guys.

66. What are their parenting styles?

Hiccup is likely a bit stricter but not as much as Stoick was. But their daughter is like a mirror of him but edgier so that would make it very difficult XD Meanwhile Anna is a loose mom that can be disciplinary, but she loves to tell stories to their son. Hiccup already acts like a dad to his friends, which makes sense as they are all idiots.

67. Who would be the more laid back one?

Eh, depends on the situation.

68. Who listens to more vulgar music?

Anna, but only she's mad.

69. Do either of them have secrets even the other doesn’t know?

Anna is mostly an open book so I don't think she would? Hiccup probably would when it comes to smaller things. They don't really keep secrets from one another and trust that they'll tell them when they're ready.

70. Who is their go to couple for a double date?

I think it depends on the au. In certain aus, Kristoff and Elsa bc Elsa is Anna's sister and Kristoff is one of Anna's best friends. Or it could be Snow and Rapunzel in some, I just think them double dating would be cute. Merida and Astrid would probably be a bit too hardcore for either of them XD

71. Do they tip the waiter/waitress on their date?

Of course, Hiccup is a gentleman and Anna always pitches in.

72. How do they work out a fight?

Anna is more open about her emotions so she'd probably yell at some point before eventually regretting it later, especially if she accidentally strikes a nerve. Anna and Hiccup are not a couple that fights a lot, which I love about them. So once they both calm down, they'll talk it out but keep their distance for a little bit until they're ready to move on.

73. Who brings home an illegal pet?

Hiccup. He literally has a dragon that almost got him disowned! But it’s not like Anna wouldn’t embrace it wholeheartedly.

74. What side of the bed do each of them sleep on?

Pfft, they're both such messy sleepers so it doesn't matter at all. They probably end up being sprawled across the bed and each other.

75. What is their favorite photo of them two together?

Likely one from before they got together, which is of Anna eating some chocolate cake with some frosting on the corner of her lips, so Hiccup is wiping it off. Rapunzel probably would've taken it.

76. Who takes longer in the bathroom?

I'd say they take about the same actually, since I can see them figuring out how to go through the bathroom together in a balanced fashion.

77. Who has more songs on their ipod?

Well this aged well Anna probably would, which helps with certain parts of modern aus and even a bit in canon-inspired.

78. What movie did they first see together?

I'm not sure tbh. But for my celebrity crush au, I'd say that it actually is The Hidden World at the film premiere where they first reveal their relationship to the public.

79. What do they like to see each other in?

Heh heh, not my favorite question, since I am demisexual. But I shall try anyway. Besides, they probably make love a lot anyway.

Anna would probably like anything that frames his skinny body in the right way, like his flight suits or that one time he looks like a ninja in RTTE. But she finds him attractive no matter what, her bi heart almost can't take it when Hiccup takes off his helmet.

Meanwhile Hiccup probably loves her in green and purple, since those are her colors and she looks stunning in them. But these two absolutely would love naked cuddles.

80. Who makes jokes during inappropriate times?

They both would. "I guess it's just you and me, huh?" and "Oh that's a rough business to be in right now. I mean, really- Hm, that's unfortunate" are my proof of that.

81. At what age do they discuss the possibility of children?

I'd say they would likely be in their 30s. Anna probably would always want children but would wait awhile before they get to that point.

82. What do they love about each other the most?

Oh boy, this should be fun. Both Hiccup and Anna would probably say that they love everything about each other, but they each have very specific things.

The thing she loves the most about him would probably be how attentive he can get when she's feeling upset and that he'll do everything in his power to fix it. From reassurance and affection to flirting and joking around. While what he loves most about her is how she knows how to get through to him in any situation (plus he loves how clingy she can get as well).

83. Who is the one that sees the big picture, while the other focus’s on the small details?

Gut feeling is Hiccup focuses on the little details more, which makes sense for his role as a leader, strategist, and an inventor. However, sometimes I think he can get too focused on the little details that it makes him lose focus. Anna would focus more on the big picture but is good at noticing the little details at times. But with her, sometimes being able to do both is really overwhelming.

84. What would they write on their partner’s social media’s for their anniversary?

I can honestly see them being cute and subtle about it online, but irl? They're clingy af and annoying everyone around them XD

85. Who is bad at math?

Anna, but I love the idea of Hiccup tutoring her in modern aus. One of my favorite tropes, which is so underrated.

86. Who googles everything?

Since Anna and I are so much alike, it's probably her XD

87. Who does stuff on impulse?

While Anna is extremely impulsive, I can see Hiccup doing the same when he can't figure out a problem. Like his Viggo obsession in RTTE or how to lead Berk without Toothless in Hidden World.

88. How do they comfort each other when they are helpless to do anything about the situation?

Let's start with how Anna would comfort him. Anna would start off by talking all about how she believes in him more than any person in the world, but if that doesn't work, she has to tell him straight up to get his head out of his ass and focus on the situation. As for Hiccup, he would try and distract her from the situation, being so reassuring for Anna.

89. What is an inside joke they have?

Hmm...I can't really think of any as of right now, but that's due to how I don't really have inside jokes in my life so I don't how it would be for a couple.

90. Who makes the other smile with almost no effort at all?

Anna makes Hiccup smile without even trying. He would look at her with the most fond smile imaginable. I love that, it's one of my favorite parts of Hiccup's side of the story.

91. What is their favourite holiday?

Anna would adore Halloween and Hiccup would be pretty indifferent to it. But he entertains it and will do couples costumes with her.

92. Who is the one that is calm and collected while the other is angry and destructive?

Simplified, Hiccup is more calm while Anna is a tad more destructive. But I do think it depends on the moment. Sometimes Anna has a more clear head when Hiccup is pushing her away or Hiccup needs to be told the hard truth in a situation.

93. What is their favourite board game to play?

Clue or The Game of Life. Anna would get utterly competitive while they're playing Clue, while Hiccup would have fun trying to figure out the mystery. (All the while trying to help her keep her temper under control) As for Life, I can see them being cute playing on the same team while playing against Elsa and Kristoff (who are 110% done with their shit).

94. Who accidental sets something on fire?

*casually points at Anna* I love her but she's way more clumsy than he is.

95. Who has the car ready while the other is robbing the store?

Hiccup, even if he doesn't necessarily agree with it. Anna is Anna and I love the idea of her trying to push boundaries after being sheltered for so long, and how it wasn't even her choice.

96. What artist/group did they go to for their first concert?

Taylor Swift tbh, her songs perfectly describe how I imagine their dynamic.

97. Who sleep talks?

I feel like that would be Hiccup. Both of them are not pretty sleepers, don't get me wrong. But idk, he just gives the vibes as a sleep talker.

98. Who is the more social one?

…Is that even a question? Anna literally burst out of the castle waiting for human interaction.

99. What are their karaoke songs?

Well for one, Anna would absolutely love karaoke as I have included that as an important part of her character in my college au. Anyways, when they're duetting together, they would probably do any cheesy love pop song, like Airplanes for meme reasons.

100. Who would get up on stage and make a fool of themselves just to make the other laugh?

They both probably would, but I feel like Hiccup would do it for Anna when she's really at her lowest. And him going up in front of everyone just to cheer her up shows how much he prioritizes her happiness.

Shiro and Lance Role Reversal

I was working on the entire “essay” but then I realized we’re all here for porn and no one cares about character analysis. Even less of us care about this AU so here I am with my significantly shorter headcanon with no porn. And I’m sorry if you like Sheith because I don’t really like it and my bias shows.

Ok so we don’t know what Shiro was like when he was in his late teens. All we have are headcanons and his current personality to base things off of. If we use my personal idea of how he acted as a teenager, on one hand that’s too abstract(?) but so is my personal idea of what Lance would grow up to be like. So yeah, I could write teen Shiro based on my preferences, but for consistency’s sake all across the board let’s use Shiro’s mature adult-y personality as a base.

Ok so seventeen year old Shiro is a mature and responsible kid. He’s a little bit uptight and takes things a little too seriously because he wants to be taken seriously. He hides his goofy side because he wants to be respected/looked up to/seen as important/needed. Places too much value on his usefulness to others. I guess his whole character arc would be about not needing respect the way he thinks he does and learning to trust people with his flaws and weaknesses. I don’t know. He’s friendly and mild-mannered. No PTSD because no K-mission but I guess you could give it to him anyway from something else and have him bond with Lance over this.

Now adult Lance. Lance is an extroverted person and I think his competence as an adult would translate into something hidden under his carefree and outgoing nature. Still boasts a lot but has things to back it up with now. It’s just that people outside his workplace never believe him. I think he would’ve grown into a good pilot by eventually learning from his mistakes and building up to it slowly. His work ethic would have grown over the years as well, but work hard play hard vs Shiro’s hard work and no play.

Enter Lance as Keith’s mentor. Lance knows people, is able to read social situations. But in canon he’s younger so he is less adept (see his initial treatment and interpretation of Keith as someone arrogant and stuck up). With life experience he would get better at reading people, and since Keith is a kid here (probably the same age as his nieces and nephews) he’d have experience dealing with someone in the same age group. Knows teenagers in general and what’s trendy, but there’s maybe humor here because Keith lives under a rock and has no idea what’s hip and cool so he’s a bit harder to get to know.

I am unsure how Keith got to the Garrison in the first place. For these purposes let’s say he went in from public school applications. So he’s a lonely kid in one of Lance’s classes and Lance is like damn he needs some friends.

Lance is one of the cool teachers that all the kids like but all the adults harbor a slight disdain for because of jealousy/disrespect/whatever. Knows all the shortcuts of difficult-to-learn info because he had to retake the classes so many times. Makes class easy for the kids because of how difficult the rest of the schoolwork is or something. TLDR; he knows a lot of kids.

He sets Keith up with Hunk on a friend date. Shiro asked to be transferred out of his class because it was too loud and Lance’s teaching style didn’t vibe with him so he’s not there. Don’t tell me he’d like adult Lance because I’m pretty sure Lance is his least favorite paladin. Doesn’t hate him but doesn’t like him the most either.

Keith does get along with Hunk, but due to his intimidating nature and Hunk’s initial timid(?) personality they don’t always reach an agreement. Lance probably checks in on Keith to make sure him and friends are getting along and encourages him to go out and meet more people. Keith under Lance’s wing grows to be more socially adept than current Keith.

Anyway, Keith beats Shiro’s score in simulation, and ends up only a bit lower than Lance’s score. This makes Shiro take note of Keith, and he declares a rivalry, but only in his head as something to work toward. He never says it out loud and thinks it’s weird to be so obsessed with Keith, bottling up any resentment, anger, etc. and always being civil. (He’ll probably snap at some point during being on team Voltron and Keith becoming leader.)

Lance is with Keith even more now that he sees his full potential. He doesn’t want him to become one of those kids who think they’re hot shit and let their skills go to waste because of “natural talent”, so he sets up challenges for Keith once he learns that Keith has a competitive streak.

(Mentorship montage) and now Keith’s beaten Lance’s score. Cue K-mission where Lance goes with Matt and Dr. Holt. Lance and Matt are terrible together. By terrible I mean insufferable best buddies. The ice collection scene in the beginning of the show is probably them starting a snowball fight.

Captured by aliens, going missing, Keith is expelled, Hunk visits him in his shack sometimes and helps him search for the lion, but since he’s got school he doesn’t see all the info collected. Pidge is brought over a total of one time but keeps in touch via text idk. Wow, well adjusted Keith. Amazing.

Shiro is top student once again. No one ever talks about Keith in comparison to Shiro so he’s a little worried for the guy instead of harboring any dislike toward him. Shiro’s not on the same team as Pidge and Hunk, or if he is he’s too busy studying to hang out very often. Dunno, I’ve always assumed they stuck Hunk, Pidge, Lance together because they were the misfits and Shiro’s not exactly a misfit.

Combined Pidge and Hunk brain power probably leads them to finding blue a lot earlier so Lance gets blasted off back to Earth a lot earlier as well. Not enough time for his hair to turn white but he’s got the same prosthetic right arm as canon Shiro because I’m not giving him a leg gun.

So Shiro is interning at the crash site I guess. Or he snuck in there because he saw Keith. Either is fine and good.

They all hitch a ride in Blue (that Lance still pilots) and Shiro is left with Black because of this, but Lance interrupts Allura and is like “I can’t let a kid lead this team”. It’s stressful and he just wants everyone to have a good childhood so he takes it upon himself to lead. Shiro thinks Lance is undermining his abilities so this causes a slight rift but he agrees anyway. So now Shiro has Blue, Lance has Black, and he doesn’t try to appoint a new leader because no PTSD anxiety (wasn’t there long enough) and also he doesn’t plan on dying because he’s just unrealistic like that.

Final TLDR; Sheith becomes boring Klance and Klance becomes angst-less Sheith because Keith has a support system in the form of friends.

I absolutely, 100% want to see this title turned into an alien encounter AU. My first thought was either Klance or Allurance, but the more I think about it, the more fun I think it would be to have it be a gen-with-a-hint-of-fake-dating AU where Pidge (and maybe also Matt and/or Sam) are hunting aliens in the desert (an old Holt family tradition!) when Keith’s ship crashes not far from where they are. Pidge runs off to check it out and pulls Keith from the wreckage.

The Holts of course immediately adopt Keith, spiriting him away from the crash site as the Garrison comes to investigate and nursing him back to health. It turns out he has some chameleon-like abilities (Galra-Altean Keith?? Sure!) So he’s able to pass as human. The first day, Keith is left home alone and goes out to try to get back his mother’s knife, which was in his ship and now has been confiscated by the Garrison. He almost gets captured, and after that the Holts decide it’s safer to send him to school with Pidge and Matt (so I guess this is a high school AU, too, where Shiro and Matt are seniors, Lance, and Hunk are juniors, and Pidge is a sophomore taking mostly advanced classes.) Keith is short and scrawny and Sam Holt figures he’s close enough to a junior to enroll him as such and talk the faculty into enrolling him in Pidge’s classes…. mostly. Mama Holt faked his records to get him into the appropriate classes, but a couple of her classes are already overfull, so he ends up in one or two classes with Hunk and/or Lance but not Pidge.

Whenever possible, Pidge sits next to Keith and keeps whispering in his ear, explaining things to him, and more than once she has to grab his hand to keep him from challenging someone to a duel or just straight-up leaving class because the teacher is annoying him.

So of course the rest of the school assumes they’re dating. Pidge gives the biggest “Uggggghhhhh” but goes along with it, because what else is she gonna say? That he’s an alien? He’s already officially listed as a transfer student, but that doesn’t explain how “touchy” they are. So they roll with it.

Lance, Hunk, and Shiro of course confront them at lunch, because Pidge is ace/aro, so… did they all miss something?? So Pidge and Matt tell them what happened, and Keith explains that his mother’s knife is at the Garrison–and that his family/friends can track him using the knife’s energy signature.

So I mean, we might spend a little more time in the fake dating twist, but the important part would be planning and running a heist at the Garrison. Possibly Allura came to rescue Keith and the team has to bust her out, possibly Thace or Kolivan or someone shows up and gets attacked. Idk. We’d probably end with Keith fleeing the Earth but later sneaking back to hang out with the team some more.

32) How do you feel about smut?

I read it as a relaxer. That probably sounds weird, but the kind of smut I read is the more emotional, slow kind, both with and without plot involved. Soft and slow smut is just.... so relaxing to read. Bonus points if it’s h/c.

Can’t write it though. I just... can’t. I’m ace with some baggage so like, I just can’t bring myself to write out even the most vanilla of sex scenes. (I know in mine and Caro’s collab it says “eventual smut”, but really, I’m going to super gloss over that and just heavily imply that they did the do.)

36) Which is your favorite site to post fic?

AO3~ I know sometimes the site can get pretty laggy, but I love the layout and how you can customize the color scheme/theme. (I set mine to Reverse just because it’s wayyyy easier on the eyes, since most of my fic reading goes on late at night when I’m in bed.)

37) Talk about your current wips.

If I talked about all my current wips, we’d be here for literally years, aiight. So I’m going to briefly summarize them, alphabetically I guess, haha. It’s long af so it’s below the cut.

Beach Boys - Klance

Beach Boys is my tap at a college / fake-dating AU, in which Lance’s second oldest brother is getting married, and he needs a “date” for the wedding. He and Keith are already classmates, having a few writing classes together, and he manages to convince him to go as his plus one. They head to California for two weeks, in the time of, they deal with homophobia, familial teases - both good and bad - about their relationship, seaside town adventures, and learn more about each other than either of them hoped to know.

The Fault In My Stars (Because Yours Are Flawless) - Keith/Klance

This was originally supposed to be a cute, oneshot sickfic. I... I dunno what happened, it just spiraled out of control and now it’s this messy, angsty train wreck in process. I have absolutely no plan or update schedule for this fic, it was a surprise, even to me.

Ok but quick, proper summary: Keith ends up catchin your garden-variety flu and has to get better the old fashioned way, and there’s fluff and comfort in the beginning. But while he’s sick, they’re majorly attacked by a Galra fleet and have to form Voltron. Then while they’re in Voltron, they get attacked by a new Galra weapon that incapacitates them and wrenches Voltron apart. Keith and the Red Lion are captured, and Keith is thrown in a cell. He’s still sick btw.

I have no idea where to take this, but it’s basically become my Angst fic that I work on when I’m in a not so great place, so that my negative emotions don’t transfer to my other fics.

Forget Me Not - Klance

Chapters: 1/?

This fic is a Voltron Disney AU, where Lance plays the role of Belle and Keith plays the Beast. Lance’s little brother loses track of his sister in the forest, and they have to go find her. They stumble upon the Beast’s castle, along with both his sister and the Beast himself, a.k.a. Keith. Lance offers up his own freedom in exchange for his siblings’ and Keith agrees.

They both have some baggage, and they try to work past their negative feelings as they try to get more accompanied to each other. I’m taking quite a few creative liberties with the original storyline and worldbuilding, so it’s not the same as the movie, but more influenced by it.

I Found Love - Klance

This is a new collab with me and Caro (@thesearchingastronaut) where we try to pack as much unbridled fluff and sweetness into one fic as we possible can. We both planned everything that happened in the fic, and I’m going to write it while she draws the art for it

Basically it’s a modern/domestic au where Keith is a freelance illustrator working two part time jobs, living a decent life with his cat in his apartment. Lance is a musician/music major who plays at an event held at Keith’s bar one night, and Keith can not get him out of his mind. They keep bumping into each other, become friends, and eventually something more. I’m not giving away any specifics though, you’ll have to read to find out~

If Fireflies Cast Shadows - Lance/Klance

Chapters: 3/?

IFCS is a soulmate au, where your soulmate’s first words to you appear in their handwriting on the wrist of your dominant hand, and Lance has “Don’t fucking touch me, asshole!” on his left wrist, scribbled in angry, red letters belonging to none other than Keith. Lance’s pretty ashamed/self-conscious of it, and develops a few quirks that are part of his attempt to avoid meeting his soulmate. Naturally it doesn’t work, and he and Keith are thrown together very quickly when they’re paired together as part of a shadowing program at his school. Full of Angst, Fluff, Humor, and Hamilton references alike.

Currently my most popular fic on AO3~ I’m debating on cutting the fic at 3 chapters or continuing to work on their relationship. Or maybe cutting it and starting a second fic that continues IFCS, but from Keith’s POV. Ehh, I’ll figure it out later.

Misdialed - Lance/Klance

Misdialed is a very funny, fluffy fic that I started on a whim because I wanted to write a wrong-number au and it... spiraled out of control. Again. Oops.

Keith calls Lance at an ungodly hour in the morning one time, and Lance indulges him in his ramblings and theories about the moon landing. They aren’t registered in each other’s phones, and over the distortions that cell phone calls give, they don’t recognize each other’s voice. In real life, they go to the same college, and are in the same friend group, but don’t get along at all. However, they continue to talk over the phone, getting closer and closer to each other while not knowing the other’s real identity. There’s some angst in ch 2 (and definitely in ch 4) but it’s definitely a funny and fluffy read.
