Lucy understands that by creating this domino effect to get Tim into Metro, she won’t see him as much as she’d like/they do now. It’s a sacrifice she’s willing to make because Tim’s happiness at work is not something she will sacrifice. He is worth the effort. Lucy doesn’t care if Tim never finds out she initiated the retirement and moves - she’s happy to be a ghost contributor.

Beyond the gritty sand covered below-
by salty waves crashing with the sky above //
A loop of laughter as we advance to the ripple of time-
that never ceases to halt //
Pour the empty containment of salty water-
along with all else you need out in the breeze
For our knowledge into one is close to nothing
Unified eyes that wander off in the distance // Do you really see me?

“Crosby described the experience: “I finally found my voice. Five years I’ve been singing and I finally found a voice of my own. Every time I sang a lead part with the Byrds, I choked up, because I was so scared. But these two loved me enough to let me find my own voice.”

*silence*
I look unto the sky to watch as the clouds float lightly by
Words spilt from my mouth in what is seen before us-
an ending to a story that was never written, swifts by like a a gust of wind-
I reach for you // nothing
Drowning in what ifs and could haves, take it all back from me
No, blooms my anger like a dandelion a weed unwanted waiting to be thrown.
Rest my mind to scatter my thoughts across the shore,
yell into the distance to hear it bounce right back.
For the universe is spinning in a merry-go-around, when will this end? //
