I might have a full set of clown makeup on but god damn I'm really hoping that Marvel execs scrapping Daredevil Born Again and starting from scratch, and the new creative team reporting that they've been watching the OG series for inspiration...I'm so really hoping that they bring back Deb and Elden as Karen and Foggy.
Charlie, Deborah, and Elden just worked SO SO well together. And if you bring back Jon as Frank Castle and Vincent as Fisk and Charlie as Matt, it's just so fucking unfair if Deb and Elden get left in the dust. Particularly, like, Karen Page was also made super important to the Punisher show, let alone Daredevil. Why the hell would you leave her out while bringing the boys she's connected to back?
And with the Defenders shows now all on Disney+, AND being added to its MCU timeline, it'd be a really dumbass decision to nuke the heart of what made the Daredevil show incredible. It wasn't all Matt being broody by himself. It was Nelson, Murdock, and Page, their connections, their sacrifices, their victories. Their love.
And god damn did they get fucked over with the cancellations. They ALL deserve to come back.
I'm hoping so hard that Foggy and Karen come back with Elden and Deborah. It won't be Daredevil without them, especially with everyone else. It'll be like leaving two gaping holes unfilled.

What are your thoughts on the new remake of daredevil that will air on disney+? Personally I'm a bit nervous about whether they will somehow try to make it a bit more kid-friendly or something along the lines of that. There are of course also the worry that they will completely ignore the Netflix series.
But nonetheless I'm very excited to see how they choose to tackle Daredevil!
In short: mixed, but choosing to just be really excited!
This will be the most negative I get on this blog until we actually have content to analyze, although my thoughts are still mostly positive:
Concerns:
Based on the news about Fisk being back, I'm thinking they might go the same route as "The Force Awakens" and stick pretty closely to the original story. Possibly to the point of being uncreative.
Not enough whump. Not enough lingering on the whump. Not enough slowing down the plot to make Matt actually deal with the whump.
The fight scenes. Gosh, the fight scenes in TFATWS and Hawkeye were so meh compared to Daredevil. Please, please, please bring back Chris Brewster and the others!
I'm also worried Disney will either erase or drastically misunderstand Matt's Catholicism. To be fair, so does most of the fandom, in my opinion. ;) I take issue with Matt being known for having "religious trauma." Matt has a lot of trauma, and his religion certainly colors how he understands and processes and communicates about his trauma...but religion didn't cause his trauma, except to the extent that it created his "devil inside" misconception. But Matt's trauma comes from abandonment, abuse, and neglect, plus just the struggle of dealing with his enhanced senses, and the second-hand trauma he gets as a result of his senses (not to mention his job(s)). Matt's trauma isn't from being Catholic. (Nor, I think, is his guilt. His guilt is also colored by his faith, but come on: Matt would feel personally responsible for all the world’s problems even if he were irreligious - that’s a personality thing, not a religion thing.)
I'm worried Disney will try to tackle complicated issues like the criminal justice system, and basically give us nothing more than the "Do better!" speech from TFATWS.
I'm worried that in general, Disney will make Matt, Fisk, and other characters too one- or two-dimensional.
CGI. In general.
But that being said, here are things I'm excited for:
More content! Even if I don't like most of it, I'll probably like at least some of it.
More money and recognition for Charlie! HE DESERVES IT SO MUCH.
Eighteen episodes! EIGHTEEN! This makes me hopeful that they'll actually take the time to explore themes and characters well.
Also, I'm not excited about this per se, but I'm okay with a slight tonal change. If Matt is quippier, that's okay with me, as long as his humor is still dry. We saw glimpses of his sense of humor in the show, and I love it. If he starts out the new series in a healthier place emotionally and spiritually, I think it would be perfectly acceptable for him to make more jokes.
Also, although it would be funny for him to crash more light-hearted shows (like She-Hulk) and just kinda still be his normal broody self, I can also forgive him being written a little different to accommodate the tone of another show. In a weird way, I see that as respectful. For example, She-Hulk is Jennifer's show. I'd rather they write Matt to match her show's tone (as long as it's not completely ooc) than write him in a way that sticks out or makes her show feel incongruous. It's about her, not him.

THOUGHTS ON “DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN”
Now that I’ve had a few days to let the good news sink in:
OMG!!! EIGHTEEN EPISODES!!! CHARLIE COX!!! VINCENT D’ONOFRIO!!!
OK, I’ve gotten that off my chest.
I am cautiously optimistic that TPTB at Disney/Marvel understand the concept of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
I tend to doubt that “Born Again” means they’re doing a version of the “Born Again” story from the comics. As has already been said by many others, that was done in season 3. My guess is that “Born Again” is simply a reference to the fact that the series and the character are coming back. It’s also possible that Matt/DD was snapped and has come back.
Elden Henson needs to come back as Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll needs to come back as Karen, along with as many of the original supporting cast as they can bring back: Amy Rutberg as Marci, Joanne Whalley as Sister Maggie, Royce Johnson as Brett, Geoffrey Cantor as Ellison, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa, to name a few. I would love to see Wilson Bethel come back as Dex/Bullseye, too.
The character of Elektra poses a dilemma, in more ways than one. Elodie Yung was great in the role and fully deserves to come back, but she has her own TV series now and may not be available. I would not want the new series to be delayed because they were waiting for her to be available. If they are writing a different and better-written version of Elektra than the version that appeared in the Netflix series (something I would not be averse to), perhaps recasting the character would work. Or maybe Elektra doesn’t have to appear in season one at all; perhaps she could show up for season two, when Elodie Yung’s availability might not be an issue.
Please bring back as many of the amazing stunt crew from the Netflix series as possible – especially Chris Brewster – and limit the CGI to what is strictly necessary.
I don’t care what suit DD is wearing as long as Charlie Cox and Chris Brewster are wearing it.
Full employment for Charlie Cox is a good thing.

Are there any plot tropes you are sick of/refuse to RP? If so, what are they and why?
Is there a character that the rest of your fandom adores that you just don’t like/are indifferent to? Who is the character and why?
I mean, there are certain story tropes in general I don't care for. Amnesia, body swaps, that whole misunderstanding thing they do in romantic comedies or just for cheap conflict, god i fucking hate that. Also, I think i'm an acquired taste, the way i like to write ships. I'm not a huge fan of constant conflict within a ship. Like, of course no relationship is perfect, but like constant turbulence is fucking exhausting to me. I'm boring. I just don't want my couples to kiss and fuck, I want them to be happy and supportive to each other. I would rather the angst be related to some kind of external conflict, not some insecurity within the relationship. That being said, I don't oppose to much, you know (aside from the really fucked up shit I prolly don't have to detail)? I'm just not likely to cater to that sort of thing without discussion. In other words, I think I prefer to find like minded individuals because I can be very eager to please and I often find myself in situations where I'm treated as a doormat lmao.
2.Okay, okay, okay, stick with me here. I like Frank Castle, okay? I like the idea of exploring such a damaged man, his trials and tribulations, his complicated relationships with other heroes. Love that shit. However, the fandom that rose up around him with season 2 of the Netflix series really pisses me off. I hate how it brings up the old "no-kill hypocricy" (and god forbid "well how does Matt know he's not killing people and isn't beating up people without fully understanding their personal history and working with cops is pretty shitty too? Yeah, I agree, it's...called nuance and the core internal conflict of most vigilante stories) discourse and the bloodthirsty nature of the way they talk about justice. I get it, I do, there's something cathartic about Frank's vengeance, yet i really wish they'd step back and think about what they're saying or at least be more honest about it. There's also something i find really irritating about the Kastle ship. I don't have a dog in the fight. i don't really care for Karedevil, either. But it 9/10 it turns into another reason to compare Frank and Matt, and much as I hate to say it, it also feels like they're using Karen as a mouthpiece, when the fact of the matter is Karen is a very messy character in Netflix's Daredevil. I could probably write an entire essay about her being the inversion of the femme fatale, but my point is, Karen is a good person with her heart generally in the right place, but she's also a recovering drug addict, dealing with the guilt over her brother's death, etc. She's no paragon of virtue, and her attraction to Frank, regardless of how you put it is related to her internalized identification of herself as a killer (yes, she really, actually is, given the whole Wesley ordeal, but her desperate violence in self-defense is quite different from Frank stalking, planning, and enacting explicit, targeted murder, but I digress). So yeah, it's complicated. I like Frank Castle, but I don't like the way fandom tends to interacts with him. It's like everyone becomes Garth Ennis, y'know?

MY BOI MATTHEW MURDOCK IS COMING BACK OUR SCREENS AND I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER. I BASICALLY CANNOT LOSE. IS IT A DIRECT CONTINUATION OF THE NETFLIX SHOW? IF SO, I WIN. IS IT GOING TO BE A BIT DIFFERENT, WITH A NEW STYLE? IF SO, THAT’S COOL TOO, THE NETFLIX SERIES HAD A NEARLY PERFECT ENDING.
I FEEL LIKE I JUST DEFEATED GOD IN A LIMBO CONTEST (HE CANNOT DESCEND INTO HELL, PER SATAN’S RESTRAINING ORDER). I LOVE DAREDEVIL. NOT EVEN GOD CAN STOP THAT NOW.
COX WILL ASCEND INTO OUR SOULS AND TOUCH US DEEP WITHIN OUR ETERNAL SPIRITS. AFTER ALL THIS TIME AND A MINOR CAMEO IN PROBABLY THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME, CHARLIE GETS TO COME BACK TO HIS OWN SERIES AND FLEX HIS ACTING CHOPS ONCE AGAIN BUT NOW HE WILL HAVE AN EVEN BIGGER AUDIENCE AND GET EVEN MORE RECOGNITION FOR IT.
WE WILL HOPEFULLY GET TO SEE AGENT BEN POINDEXTER COME BACK AND HE JUST DON’T MISS. I, ON THE OTHER HAND, HAVE MISSED HIM DEARLY. BAAAAAAAAH
IF KINGPIN IS STILL ALIVE, HE’S GONNA GET SMACKED AROUND SOME MORE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE IT. SPILL SOME OF FISK’S BLOOD, MATTY BOY.
PAGE, MURDOCK, AND NELSON GET TO SUFFER SOME MORE FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT, AND WE’LL WATCH THEM LIKE ANGRY, CRUEL GODS.
I COULD CONSUME THE COSMOS WITH THE POWER I FELT FROM SEEING THIS NEWS. ZUES SHALL FEAR ME ONCE MORE.
MAYBE I’M NOT JUST WRITING THIS POST FOR TUMBLR STRANGERS TO READ ANYMORE. MAYBE I JUST CAN’T STOP. I DON’T WANT TO STOP.
ELEKTRA COULD FINALLY RETURN AND STIR UP TROUBLE FOR ALL OF US ONCE AGAIN, AND I’M READY FOR IT. BRING HER BACK. LET HER MEET DEX. PLEASE. THEY’RE BOTH OBSESSIVE AND I WANT TO SEE HOW FAR OFF THE DEEP END ELEKTRA COULD PUSH HIM.
I AM READY TO SUFFER TORMENT WITH MY BESTEST BOI MATT (LOL I ALREADY REWATCH SEASONS 1-3 EVERY FEW MONTHS JUST TO DO THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL WE’RE BOTH DEAD)
I FEEL A PRIMORDIAL EXCITEMENT I HAVE NOT FELT SINCE... WELL THAT’S NOT IMPORTANT
THE REAL WORLD MAY BE GETTING WORSE, BUT MY FAVORITE FRANCHISES HAVE BEEN PULLING W’s LATELY SO I’LL JUST IGNORE THAT AND LET ALL MY PROBLEMS GET WORSE.
WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? I FEEL LIKE I’VE MADE MY POSITION VERY CLEAR. I CARE ABOUT DAREDEVIL MORE THAN I CARE ABOUT MY CONTINUED EXISTANCE. MR.MURDOCK WILL RESUME HIS INFINITE GLORY LIKE HE’S HAD INSIDE MY HEART THIS ENTIRE TIME AND I WILL SEE IT IF ITS THE LAST THING I EVER DO. NOTHING WILL STOP ME FROM OBTAINING THIS FUTURE. NOT GOD. NOT THE TVA. NOT SOME NIGERIAN PRINCE WHO DOESN’T EVEN ACCEPT PAYPAL. AND MOST OF ALL NOT NETFLIX. EAT A MOON IF YOU’RE STILL ANGRY.
MATTHEW MURDOCK AND CHARLIE COX ARE GRACING US WITH THEIR RETURN AND I WILL DO WORSE THINGS THAN WANDA MAXIMOFF IF I HAVE TO TO PROTECT THIS POSSIBILITY.
NSA, THAT’S CALLED A JOKE. PLEASE STOP EAVESDROPPING AND READING MY STUFF. IT’S KIND OF STALKERISH AND I DON’T APPRECIATE IT.
I’VE GOT MY I AM NOT DAREDEVIL SHIRT ON EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY WORE IT THIS WEAK. YOU THINK A SINGLE DAYS WORTH OF BACTERIA COULD STOP ME? I DO NOT SEE IT. I’M IMMUNE TO DISEASE. THATS WHY THEY CALL IT AN IMMUNE SYSTEM.
EVERYBODY STAY CALM. OR DON’T. ACTUALLY, DON’T. I’M CLEARLY NOT.
MAYBE NOW THE BIG COSPLAY COMPANIES WILL START SELLING DAREDEVIL COSTUMES AGAIN AND I’LL FINALLY BE ABLE TO GET ONE.
MY LOVE FOR DAREDEVIL TRUMPS MY SELF HATRED. YEAH. THIS WOULD BE AN EVEN LONGER POST IF I DIDN’T HAVE RESPONISBILITIES TO ATTEND TO.
DAREDEVIL IS BACK AND I FEEL SOMETHING THAT I AM BEING TOLD IS CALLED HAPPINESS. WEIRD.

LEXY'S RP HISTORY
The rules are simple! Post characters you’d like to roleplay as, have roleplayed as, and might bring back. Then, tag ten people to do the same ( if you can’t think of ten, just write down however many you can and tag that number of people ). Please repost, don’t reblog!
CURRENT MUSE/S:
Squaletta Superbi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn) – female interpretation of Squalo Superbi Tsunayoshi Sawada @signorinavongola (Katekyo Hitman Reborn) – female interpretation of Tsunayoshi Sawada Jean Kirstein (Shingeki no Kyojin) – I roleplay him in my native language outside of Tumblr. Tsukiyama Shuu (Tokyo Ghoul) – I roleplay him in my native language outside of Tumblr.
WANT  TO  WRITE  (but  never  will):
I will include muses I've been writing about for a while but haven't gotten much attention on Twitter. I roleplayed them for a very short time. I don't have muses I want to write about and haven't tried. I will also include the worlds where I want to write my muses. Wednesday Addams (Wednesday Netflix series) Rhaenyra Targaryen (The House of Dragon series) AUs: Dune universe Hunger Games universe Game of Thrones universe Peaky Blinders universe John Wick universe One Piece universe
HAVE WRITTEN:
Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil (Netflix's adaptation of Marvel character) James Barnes (Bucky) (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Thor Odinson (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman (Gotham TV show and Nolan's movies) Petra Parker (Spiderwoman – female interpretation) (Marvel Cinematic universe) Michelle "MJ" Jones (Marvel Cinematic universe) Obito Uchiha (Naruto) Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto) Izuna Uchiha (Naruto) Karin (Naruto) Jiraiya (Naruto) Tsukiyama Shuu (Tokyo Ghoul anime & manga) Jean Kirstein (Shingeki no Kyojin) and plenty more I can't think of at this moment.
WOULD WRITE AGAIN:
I would write my Naruto muses again. I love to "recycle" muses because I see so much potential in them. As you can see, I always add canon muse something else or put them in alternative verse, examine their character in a different gender, or roleplay them in harmony with my own headcanons and faceclaims. I love to be creative.

Marvel Studios' first Disney+ series of 2024, Echo, was given a rather shocking rating by the MPAA.
All eyes are currently on Loki Season 2 and The Marvels, but Alaqua Cox's Echo isn't far off.
The upcoming series was originally supposed to release every single episode on November 23, but it was ultimately delayed to January 10, 2024.
Now, all six episodes are still set to come out on January 10, but with the arrival of a brand-new trailer for the show, Echo will also be available to stream on Hulu as well as Disney+.
Echo Receives TV-MA Rating
Marvel Studios released the first official trailer for the upcoming Echo Disney+ series, starring Alaqua Cox in the titular role.
However, at the end of the trailer, it was surprisingly confirmed that the show was given a TV-MA rating when an end card popped up that stated, "Set your Disney+ profile to TV-MA to stream."
Tumblr media
The upcoming animated Marvel Zombies Disney+ show was the first Marvel Studios project to be TV-MA, but since Echo will be released on January 10, 2024, it will officially become the first Marvel Studios Disney+ series to have that rating.
Why Is Echo Rated TV-MA?
The recently released trailer for Echo teased that the MCU show will not shy away from violence in the slightest, and fans can probably expect it to rival the level of brutality often seen in the Daredevil Netflix series.
For example, at the beginning of the released footage, Kingpin was shown beating someone up, and a shot lingered on his extremely bloody hand in the aftermath.
Another shot featured a character upside-down with blood running out of their mouth, nose, and eyes, proving to the audience that this upcoming show is violent.
Many fans thought that Moon Knight should have explored the character's vicious nature a little further than it did, so it seems as though Marvel Studios listened and is planning to go all out with Echo.
By showing this level of violence, Echo will undoubtedly bring back some of the horrific elements of Kingpin's character, making him an even more terrifying villain in the long run.
Viewers can now expect Daredevil: Born Again to also feature a TV-MA rating when it finally comes out, which will surely please many fans of Charlie Cox's Netflix series.
Echo is set to release all six of its episodes on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2024.

The biggest letdown over Daredevil being cancelled is there is so much left unfinished. I mean besides the bullseye and Fisk stuff, like Electra. What happened to her? Is she dead or did she just bounce? And Colleen is the new iron fist and Luke took over Harlem’s underground crime ring. There is just so much potential for more and I miss my boy.

Boycott Netflix?
Okay so if Netflix wants to take away the 3 or 4 good shows that we all love, we should take away our money and go else where.
Bring back Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Daredevil and The defenders.
Like I don't even really watch it because they barely have any shows that I like on there besides what was mentioned above.
Plus these actors are loosing their roles and Jobs.
This is kinda depressing to the Marvel Fandom.
Edit:
Also fuck Disney, Disney +.
I hope Hulu becomes the hero and picks up the shows, that would be good.

Actually a Heroes for Hire D+ show would be awesome. Get Mike Colter back as Luke Cage, and recast Danny Rand as a fucking Asian-American like holy shit that character should not be a white guy but that's an issue with the comics ik but like holy shit he's such a white savior it's ridiculous.
Oh and get Krysten Ritter back for a Jewel/Jessica Jones thing. If we're getting Charlie Cox as Daredevil again again and Vincent D'Onofrio back as Kingpin we might as well bring back the rest of the Defender crew back too, even if we overwrite their origins from their own shows.
But fuck seriously when we introduce Iron Fist in the MCU please don't make him just another white guy, the rest of the Netflix crew can stay the same. Finn Jones was fine in the role imo but this character is such a white savior he makes my skin crawl with how uncomfortable it makes me. Get Finn Jones to play a character less based in racism. Other than that get the old Netflix Marvel characters in the MCU with the same actors.

Once again I pray when we are about to get Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, our beloved, showing up in She-Hulk, that we also one day get a return of Elden and Deborah as Foggy and Karen because I think I might actually cry if we lose Nelson, Murdock, and Page and the semblance of happiness we got at the end of the Netflix Daredevil run.
By all means, it does not have to be The Exact Same Storyline if they want to bend timelines or whatnot for ~Loki Timeline Bending or multiverse shenanigans reasons~ but please. I beg. I am begging. Please just keep them together. 😭

Tumblr media
“Baby I need it” she tells her husband as she applies her makeup, sweeping the highlighter across her cheekbones and pouting in the mirror at his tense face. Conceding, he creeps into his bosses office, looking in the usual place he sees a large bag of pills and sneaks a few into his pocket. He has been doing this several times a week for the past few weeks and thankfully no one has noticed or he’d surely be dead by now. Closing the drawer and making sure nothing is out of place he slips back into his apartment to hand the pills to his wife, getting a shock when he finds Fisk sitting on the sofa pointing his gun at the woman.
“It seems as though someone has been stealing from me, would you happen to know anything about that?” he asks the man, smirking at the expression on his face. “I know it's you, I have you on camera so don’t lie to me. I have a proposition for you. You can have whatever pills you want for free if you give me your first born when it arrives”. His wife screams no, she can’t give up a baby, Fisk points the gun at her “it's your choice” flicking the safety off and pointing it at the screaming woman.
************************************************
25 years you had spent in this apartment, only allowed to leave when you had your fathers henchmen with you. You had no friends, your father ran Hells Kitchen and there wasn't a single person who wasn't terrified of him. Most of your time was spent online shopping or trying to annoy the guards tasked with keeping you in. Your happiest moments however were when you blasted 80s music, completely losing yourself in the words of the greats like Queen, Bon Jovi, and Prince. You were on the 50th floor of The Sheffield, far away from the ears of others, free to dance around and sing obnoxiously loud and no one would complain. Well no one but the men stationed at your door, but annoying them was a petty indulgence you could never pass up.
A block away Matt Murdoch was patrolling the streets, dressed as his alter ego Daredevil, he was moving in the shadows trying to make his city a better place. He moved around the building tops, landing silently on top of The Sheffield, hearing the sounds of your voice travelling through the open window. You were so carefree, singing along to the Prince song, he could hear you moving around as if you were dancing. He came back every night for a week to hear you having fun, longing to get to know you better but there was always someone in need of help.
He continued to visit you night after night, deciding tonight he would make his move he’d scoped out the building earlier in the day and realised who it belonged to so he couldn’t just walk in and find you. He staked out the building from his perch across the street, trying to find a pattern he could use to his advantage, he was shocked when he realised that you only left once a week to go to the nail salon, closely guarded by Fisks henchmen. You were being held captive in the building.
He listened on top of your building again that night, the urge to talk to you getting too strong to ignore. He left you a little note that night attached to your window You have the voice of an angel, I'd love to get to know you better. If you want to get to know me too leave your window open for me tomorrow. MM.
The next night he arrived at the same time, his heart beating out his chest at the possibility of finally meeting you. He listened again, hearing only you, before swinging down and quietly landing on your window, he felt you grabbing his hand and pulling him inside before moving to your bedroom for some privacy.
You sit him down on your bed, looking puzzled at his red mask “So you’ve been spying on me then?” you teased, sitting next to him and crossing your legs. He chuckles and explains how he ended up on your roof, leaving out the part about Fisk being his number one enemy. You hand him a glass of water and ask if he wants to take his mask off, and get more comfortable, an offer he declines as he is still technically patrolling tonight.
You sit in front of him, cross legged and tell him your real name, Fisk called you Molly but that wasn’t your real name. When you were a child your nanny told you that Fisk named you after what your parents had stolen from him and that your real parents wanted you to be called y/n. You humoured Fisk but knew once you eventually got away you would erase everything that man had ever done for you.
You talked for an hour before he shot off out of your apartment and into the night, just a moment later your father came to wish you sweet dreams. You didn’t sleep that night, wondering what Matt was doing and if he was safe. You spent the next week glued to the local news, looking for anything about Daredevil but saw nothing. Wondering if you’d ever see him again you go for your weekly mani/pedi appointment, trying to subtly look for him without arousing suspicion of the men on either side of you.
You sit in the chair opposite your nail technician and make small talk as usual when a redhead sits down next to you and starts asking you for colour recommendations. She introduces herself as Karen and suggests a dark red colour from the wall, saying it looks good for an evening outfit, she has a date at 8pm tonight. You look at her confused for a moment before the penny drops and you nod your head slightly, you make small talk after that even sending one of your goons out for coffee for the two of you. You decline the offer of her number to repeat the day but let her know that you come here at the same time every week if she ever wanted to catch up again.
That night you leave your window open and dress in your best outfit to give yourself some confidence, he climbs in the window at exactly 8pm and you rush to hug him, taking him into your room again for more privacy. You both lay on the bed eating some snacks and drinking water when you lean in to kiss him, softly at first before he grips the back of your head and deepens it.
You lay like that for what feels like hours, kissing, touching and getting to know each other better before he tells you that he has to leave again. This time he tells you that he wants to come back tomorrow and not wait a week for you, asking you to leave your window open for him once more. You kiss him gently and watch as leaps out onto the fire escape and climbs up to the roof with ease.
That's how you find yourselves for the next two weeks, he would sneak into your room, you’d talk, touch and be intimate with each other before he would sneak back out just in time for your father to come and wish you a goodnight.
You have lunch with your father and you can’t stop smiling to yourself, noticing this he asks you what’s made you so happy but you shrug and say you saw something on Netflix earlier and you really enjoyed it. Seemingly accepting your answer he moves to sit beside you and nods at the chef who brings you your favourite dessert.
Laying down the tiramisu in front of you, you turn to your father and ask him what the occasion is. He just smiles and says he likes making you happy and he wishes you could have the whole world but you’re safer in here where his men can look out for you.
You agree with him telling him you love how protective he is and hope he stays safe out there too, “don’t worry about me my little Molly Moo, no one can hurt me not even Daredevil”. Your expression changes at the mention of his name and you look down taking a bite of your dessert so you don’t have to try to and speak, before excusing yourself telling him you have a book you want to finish before the end of the day.
You sit in your room trying to calm your breathing, he had never mentioned him before and it didn’t make sense for him to do so now. You had to get a message to Matt somehow and tell him to stay away for a few nights, you can’t email him or go to his work website, all of your technology is watched in case you get in touch with your parents. Deciding the best thing to do would be to run across town you slip on your converse and run a bath, turning your music up and locking the door from the outside before sneaking down the fire escape and into the city.
You’ve never actually been anywhere on your own before so the sensations are overwhelming, your heart is beating out of your chest as you hail a cab and tell him the address. You sit in the back of the car and try to control your breathing, a feeling of panic overwhelming you, you barely realise when the cab has stopped and the driver asks you if you’re getting out.
You run into the building and into a man who grabs your shoulders and asks you to breathe, he tells you his name is Foggy and you follow him to Matt's office, collapsing in his arms as he rushes to your side. “Y/N! Focus on my voice, what are you doing here? Does Fisk know you’re out of the apartment?” You shake your head and tears roll down your cheek, Karen appears with a glass of water and helps you take some deep breaths before taking you to the bathroom to freshen up.
You explain to Karen what happened and tell her you need to keep Matt away from your apartment for his own safety. Between you both you hatch a plan to keep him away using her and Foggy as a buffer before you run back to his office. Sitting on his desk you smile and run your fingers over his face “I like you better without the mask” he blushes and places his hands on your thighs telling you should get back to the apartment before someone realises you’re gone. You agree with him and kiss him softly before running out to the cab waiting for you, on the way home you come up with reasons for why you had to leave just in case you’ve been rumbled.
The cab pulls up around the corner from your apartment and you can’t see anything out of place, no one is pacing the sidewalk looking for you. You run up the fire escape again and climb through the window. Your father is sitting waiting for you on the sofa, holding the note Matt left on your window that night, he looks furious but talks calmly, smiling at you and asking where you’ve been. You lie easily telling him you thought you heard someone in trouble and couldn’t just ignore them, he sneers at you and tells you to sit down, you do as you're told the adrenaline rushing through your veins as you try to keep a distance from him.
“You know you’re just as shitty a liar as your parents were, I have cameras and men all over this building my darling Molly. Did you really think we didn’t know he was visiting you? The entire time he was here with you distracted we got to do whatever we wanted, I owe you a debt of gratitude my little princess”. A sick feeling creeps over you and you have to take deep breaths to calm yourself, deep down you’re pleased you told Matt to stay away. He would likely be ambushed and killed and you would never forgive yourself if that happened.
Fisk pulls his gun out and points it at you “since you’ve been such a good help to me, I won’t kill you today. You’ve got 5 minutes to get your stuff and get out, I’ll give you a day head start then I'm personally coming looking for you”. You jump up and grab a backpack stuffing what clothes you can into it along with your toothbrush and a stash of money you had managed to squirrel away over the years. You know you can’t see him anymore, it's too dangerous and he’ll get killed so you decide to get away from all of them but stay in plain sight.
Later that night Matt ignores his friends, telling them he has to check that you’re ok, he won’t be able to relax until he sees you and holds you in his arms. Sneaking into your room he can tell something is off, he can’t hear your heartbeat and can’t smell your perfume. Instead he smells an overpowering cologne “WHERE IS SHE?” he shouts, he knows its Fisk, this might be his one chance to take the man down.
He lunges forward to attack but doesn’t get more than a foot in front of him before four men attack him all at once. They’re relentless, and he's not quick enough to fight them all off, they  break bones and knock him unconscious. He wakes up in hospital, bandaged and stitched with Karen asleep in a chair next to him. He wakes her up and she jumps, pressing the button to alert the nurse, passing him a cup of water and telling him not to try talking. He was dumped outside his office with a note in his pocket telling him to stay away, you had been taken care of and next time they’d bury him beside you.
Three long weeks he spends recovering in hospital, he’s told under no circumstances is he to do anything too physical for at least another six weeks. He sits back on the roof of The Sheffield that night, listening for your voice wanting nothing more than to hear you sing about raspberry berets in your off key voice. He wants to smell what you’re cooking, but there's nothing, the apartment sits empty. He visits every night for a full year before he can accept it, using his anger to take Fisk down slowly, one man at a time until the job is done and Hells Kitchen can start to repair itself.
That first night you went to a women's shelter for help, they took you in and looked after you for two weeks before they needed the space and offered you a bed at Clinton Church, you stayed there out of trouble, helping Father Lantom with the upkeep and helping in the soup kitchen. You finally had a purpose, you were used to staying inside and Fisks people always stayed away from anywhere they would have to deal with ‘vagrants’. You were safe, you felt content.
A full year passed and Matt Murdoch walked through the doors, you watched him take a pew but kept your distance. He sat calmly not making a move, a tear rolled down his cheek and he turned to face you “tell me its you” he almost whispered, running over to you and holding your face in his hands, “why didn’t come to me? I would have looked after you”.
You both stood crying, holding each other, perfectly content to be in the others arms. He squeezed you and asked you to come home with him but you shook your head, you would never put him in danger ever again. He shakes his head at you and shushes you, telling you that he’s gone, you don’t have to hide anymore, taking you to your room to gather your things he thanks the Father for taking good care of you and takes you to see Karen and Foggy, starting your life over once again.

this is a fair warning. right next to the read more sign, there will be No Way Home spoilers. So if you haven't watched the movie yet I BEG YOU TO NOT READ IT AND EXPERIENCE THE WHOLE DAMN THING WITHOUT KNOWING A SINGLE COMMA FROM THE MOVIE!!!!
when tom said it would be a sad movie THE BOY WASN'T JOKING
to me it was a better experience then avengers endgame because the movie didn't have that epic tone. it was very very sad, the whole damn time
my heart crushed to see little pete so hurt by seeing his friends suffer with the consequences of being close to him
i loved that they gave mj more space to grow as a character and being more involved in the story. like, she's not that "i don't care about anything" girl we met on hoco anymore. i like that turn.
also neddy baby i love you, you're so precious
although the movie is very sad, you're gonna laugh A LOT!!! there are a lot of funny moments that you'll die of laughter
but ALRIGHT let's get to the reeeeal spoilers
starting of with DAREDEVIL!
yes yes, he does appear for one small scene. tbh i am not a daredevil fan (i love jessica jones, but i did not fully live that marvel-netflix era outside JJ). it's so nice to see other characters coming to the mcu and gives me a hope to see my girl jess on mcu someday
also doctor strange, you lovely man who always wants to do what's right. you could've avoided a lot of trouble by not casting that spell
as mj said: i hate magic
stephen was amazing in the movie and i loved to see his melted heart appear for once
also, his interactions with peter are THE BEST. i loved it so much.
but i thought he'd be more involved in the story though
now let's talk about THE VILLAINS
because THEY made the whole movie
it was SO FUCKING FUNNY to see them all interact with each other, discovering things about other worlds together. very very nice
shout out to doc otto octavious. you shinny diamond!! you were the start between the villains
alsooooo jamie foxx!!!!! you're still a hottie uhm???
but i have to say PETER YOU HAVE TO STOP BEING SO KIND HEARTED BECAUSE THE WORLD IS NOT KIND TO YOU BACK!!!!!
but he needed to be stubborn, didn't he?
once again fucking things up because he's stubborn
but i liked that no other grown man had anything to say on his life. no tony stark. no stephen strange. HE DID HIS OWN DECISIONS AND HE HANDLED THINGS ALONE!
also do i need to mention that i think clever boys are hot? 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
fuckmesmartpeterpleaseibegyou
when the thingy worked with octavius, i was so proud
but like heart crushed ten seconds later
norman osborn i've hated you since i was born and i still hate you know
because (this might be the biggest spoiler in the movie) may's death CRUSHED MY HEART INTO A THOUSAND PIECES
like i was literally writing another fanfiction about may being a sweet cool auntie and now i don't think i'll be able to finish it because my heart aches to know she's not alive anymore
and the WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY line OH GOD! the WEIGHT BEHIND THOSE WORDS
but watching tom's face holding her as she died it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. i cried my heart out
please protect baby peter from all the harm in the world please please please
like the scenes of him grieving, wanting to kill norman... i will have it forever marked on me
and then FUCKING NED BRINGING THE SPIDEYS TOGETHER
honestly WHAT A FUCKING GREAT TIME TO BE A BRAZILIAN
WE DID A WHOLE AS PARTY WHEN THEY APPEARED
neddie the wizard please we need more of you
and MJ THROWING BUNS AT ANDREW OH MY FUCKING GOD HAHAHA THE BEST ONE
also tobey looks like horace nebbercracker from monster house
you old, boo!
but IT WAS EPIC. from someone who's been a spidey fan from birth, i loved every minute of it
and the scene where they three meet for the first time 😩😩😩😩 A MASTERPIECE FROM BEGINING TO END
andrew telling them about gwen
tobey telling them about uncle ben
they uniting to ground peter through his grief
oh, and what's hotter than a smart peter parker? THREE SMART PETER PARKERS!
their little dinamic coming up with a plan to help all the villains and at the same time bringing their universes together like they were sitting at a pub table
epic
and i have to say, peter parkers, you are amazing
seriously their interaction...
they just get each other, yk?
AND THANK GOD THEY DID THE THREE SPIDERS MEME
also skipping ahead because i'm tired (i got the last session of the day okay??)
I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO KILL TOBEY LIKE FOR REAL
I WOULDN'T HAVE ACCEPTED THAT, THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T
and electro saying he thought spidey was a black dude 🗣️🗣️🗣️ and the bridge to connect to miles! amazing
and peter asking strange to make everyone forget about him to save the whole multiverse 😩 brave boy i love you
also his farewell to the boys!!!! the hug!!!! i loved it
and peter saying goodbye to ned and mj 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 no no i do not accept that
the handshake one last time
and mj's i love you and "save your answer for when you find me again" (or whatever she said, i watched it in portuguese, come onn)
and peter GOING ON A HUNT FOR THEM
and GIVING UP ON TELLING THE TRUTH
BUT THEY LOVE EACH OTHER VERY MUCH
LOOK AT THE WHOLE CAFÉ SCENE
MARVEL DO SOMETHING THE BOY IS HURTING
also every maguire fan boy wanted peter to be a fucked up lad just like tobey and they got it
living on rent, no job, at a dirty apartment
and the star wars legos 😭😭😭😭😭😭 stop it's too much for me
baby boy literally has NO ONE THAT LOVES OR KNOWS HIM. I WANT TO GIVE HIM ALL MY LOVE BECAUSE I CAN'T STAND IT
but he seems optimistic and i'm happy about it
with the news that there will be another trilogy, i am glad they are continuing his story
i feel like they gave a good close to this trilogy and i'm happy with it
but i want MORE 😩😩😩😩😩
please tom holland i beg you MORE
i hope i didn't let anything slip by, but yeah, it happens
i also hope you enjoyed your movie
COME CHAT WITH ME ABOUT IT

MCU Phase 4 and 5: What the Multiverse Means for the Future of Marvel Movies and TV
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This article contains Loki spoilers and potential spoilers for the wider MCU.
The ending of the Loki season finale made one pretty substantial change to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The introduction of a full multiverse, caused by Sylvie killing He Who Remains, is an enormous shift in the cosmogony of the MCU. And it opens up some fascinating story possibilities for Marvel’s film heroes. So what does the introduction of a full, unlimited multiverse mean for the future of the MCU?
Hopefully, everything. Literally.
There are obvious near-term implications to Loki’s finale. It answered questions that Spider-Man: No Way Home (with its purported multiversal Sinister Six) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness asked back when Loki first premiered. Specifically: “What do you mean there’s only one universe?”
The beauty of time travel is that now, there is and has always been a full multiverse in the context of the MCU. Because whatever Kang War happened far in Loki’s subjective past (because the timelines were left to run wild when Sophie killed He Who Remains), the entire history of the MCU is now potentially subject to retcons as necessary. So the strong implication from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse that that movie and all its various spider-people existed on Earths parallel to Tom Holland’s MCU can now be considered accurate, even though the movie came out years before Loki was even a twinkle in Kevin Feige’s master MCU spreadsheet.
Time travel is a trip, man. It’s also beautiful. Literally anything is possible now.
What Does the MCU Multiverse Mean for Marvel TV?
This sort of thing happens all the time in comics. The slang is “retcon,” comics-speak for retroactive continuity, where creators reach into their characters’ pasts to change something that impacts their present.
Loki’s infinite multiverse sets up the entirety of Marvel history for any number of retcons that the folks in charge might deem necessary. It allows current MCU casts and crews to cherry pick what they liked from old MCU projects and fold them into this new normal. All those times Agents of SHIELD didn’t quite line up with what the movies were doing? The show was on an alternate Earth! Want Ghost Rider back without the TV baggage? Blame it on a Kang!
And grabbing the stuff that worked from old projects means porting in the good actors, too. That means people like J.K. Simmons, the Platonic ideal of J. Jonah Jameson, can continue playing the role across from three different Spider-Men, or Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio can show up as Daredevil and Kingpin in Spider-Man: No Way Home while Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings nukes Netflix’s Iron Fist continuity from orbit.   Wondering how Ms. Marvel could potentially deal with concepts from the Inhumans without ever mentioning that disastrous TV show? Now we know.
Could the MCU Multiverse Retcon Marvel Movies?
This same ability to pick and choose the continuity most appropriate for the story applies to decisions the movies made, too. A full multiverse lets future filmmakers bring back Chris Evans as Captain America or Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow (OK…maybe not ScarJo) without burdening the MCU with yet another time paradox. As far as we’re concerned, pre-Marvel Studios curiosities like all those crazy old live action Marvel TV shows or Howard the Duck or Dolph Lundgren’s take on The Punisher are now officially canon somewhere within the multiverse.
Phil Coulson could show up in Phase 6 leading a Squadron Supreme (just like in the comics), out for vengeance against the Avengers because they let his Earth 20085 brother die. Hell, if they really wanted to get dirty, Nick Fury could hire Deadpool to kill Coulson in retaliation, like in the comics. Wait, that was Secret Empire, wasn’t it? Never mind, don’t do that.
Anyway, you get the idea.
The possibilities are as infinite as the imaginations of the writers, limited only by Kevin Feige’s patience/sense of humor. Don’t expect anything too crazy: the time travel solution in Avengers: Endgame was wild, but before Loki, that was far and away the most ridiculous comic book science the MCU had trafficked in. Typical MCU adaptations include much more modest nods to comics’ wackier elements – Eternals pending like secret societies that had taken over SHIELD or Kurt Russell being Chris Pratt’s dad. So that ultra-maxi series that starts out a movie, moves into a TV show, has a comic tie in that directly crosses over with the show, and wraps up in Avengers 6 that we’re all hoping will come to pass is probably not on the horizon.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths Problem
An infinite multiverse doesn’t just mean possibility. It has a trap built in, too. The biggest multiverse story of all time, probably the one that set the template for future interactions with the concept, was DC Comics’ Crisis on Infinite Earths. That book set the standard for multiversal destruction, collapsing DC’s infinite comics timelines down to one single Earth and one single timeline. Gone were the separate Earths for the modern Justice League and the World War II Justice Society, replaced by one, unified timeline. And while the comic itself was a masterpiece, miraculously balanced by Marv Wolfman and beautifully drawn by George Perez; what it wrought on the DCU was 30 years of explainers why the Green Lantern of World War II still looked 35, or why Batman has only been operating for five years but went through six Robins in that time.
The cautionary tale here is one of inward looking stories versus expansionary choices. Post-Crisis DC retcons were about fixing problems the writers and editors perceived with the new timeline, and not about telling the best story they could with the characters and continuity they had. This is an easy trap for a new, expanded (but not all the way expanded) MCU to fall into. There are key pieces of the comics that haven’t been ported to the films yet.
The Fantastic Four
The temptation is likely huge to use this new, beautiful, infinite multiverse to introduce the Fantastic Four and the X-Men to the MCU. That’s probably half of a good idea.
The cosmogony of the multiverse is ingrained in who the Fantastic Four are. Their story begins as explorers of the unknown – Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm are bombarded with cosmic radiation after an unauthorized space launch. That origin is very of the time when they were created, and would probably hit different now when the only unauthorized space launches are led by giant assholes. So why not take a page from the end of Secret Wars and have them get their powers exploring the new multiverse? It makes so much sense to do it that way that one is almost suspicious of this entire retcon. But that doesn’t make it any less cool.
The X-Men in the MCU
While introducing the Fantastic Four to the MCU by saying they’ve been off exploring the multiverse would make a certain elegant sense, if Marvel tried to introduce the X-Men that way, it would be hugely problematic.
The core concept of the X-Men is the mutant metaphor, the idea that mutants are hated and feared because of who they are. On a completely superficial level, this is nonsense: what’s the difference between Cyclops’ eye blasts and Captain Marvel zapping Kree ships with fist beams? Why are mutants singled out for scorn and bigotry when someone like Doctor Strange has MUCH more terrifying abilities?
The difference is the idea that mutants are humanity’s destiny. There’s no concern that the majority baseline human population is going to someday be replaced by handsome super-soldiers or radioactive Catholic lawyers. But that genetic distinction – the idea that Magneto and Apocalypse and Pixie and Skids all share a distinct identity, while Captain America and Daredevil and Dr. Druid and Tigra do not – creates tension that allows real world out groups to superimpose their struggles onto X-Men comics and makes them infinitely relatable.
As superficially attractive as the idea of plopping the mutants on their own parallel Earth might be (and trust me, this definitely seems like the simplest justification for keeping Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool in the MCU while jettisoning anything else that is less appealing for audiences or studio execs), putting the mutants on their own separate Earth strips that struggle from the story and makes them just another cape crew.
Worse, using the multiverse as justification that suddenly mutants are here because they came from a parallel timeline disrespects the marginalized people who identify with the X-Men who, like left-handed people, have been here the whole time. Whether society noticed or not.
The Sony Spider-Man Problem
What keeps me up at night about the new Marvel multiverse is the Spider-Man family. The Marvel/Sony relationship has always been…complicated.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
While the new multiverse provides creators with endless storytelling opportunities that could expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also sets up an easy out for the studios to separate the Spider-Man movies from the rest of the MCU. Cleaving off the Spider-family movies wouldn’t be great – I don’t need to be reminded of complicated business deals while I’m at the movies. Dedicating all of a future Spidey movie to explaining why Pete isn’t in the master MCU and can’t talk about Iron Man anymore would almost certainly be a nightmare.
But these inward-looking continuity fixes are the types of stories that Marvel, on page and on screen, has generally avoided (before you jump in the comments to shout “CLONE SAGA” please take into account how much work “generally” is doing in this sentence) with its big multiverse stories. Hopefully they’ll keep making those wise decisions going forward.

In celebration of DAREDEVIL finally returning home early to Marvel from Netflix after five long damn years, due to the rights being reverted back to Marvel, I've put this together (yes, the paper I found online is real 😂 - someone's a DD fan)!
AT LAST, DAREDEVIL WILL BE USED IN THE MCU! WHICH MEANS...
CHARLIE COX WILL REPRISE HIS ROLE AGAIN! 🙌🏻❤️
There's a chance that Disney+/Hulu could obtain the Daredevil series and add more episodes/seasons! 🤞🏻
This would be a perfect opportunity to introduce Matt to the MCU by introducing him to Peter Parker as his lawyer in the third Spider-Man movie, considering Petey's going to need one in the aftermath of what happened in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Kingpin is a villain in both Daredevil and Spider-Man comics, just saying; a DD and Spidey team-up!
Man, could I have both my Dumpster Boys/Bros (aka Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Matty) interacting at some point either in the films, on the Disney+ Hawkeye TV series, and/or if they bring back the Daredevil series as well, please??
Just A Thought: What if Natasha was still alive? Tasha and Matt could have gotten together, like in the comics. 😭
You also got the rest of The Defenders and The Punisher joining at some point, too! ...And Deadpool (he basically crashes every Marvel comic book, so it would be awesome if he did the same in the MCU)!
I got so many more, but let me stop. 😆
AHHHH SHIT, this is so exciting and wild!!! 😁
This goes for all of the Marvel Netflix TV series (in this case; Daredevil): As long as ALL the characters and ALL the same actors (more specifically Charlie Cox's Daredevil) return, it doesn't matter where Marvel wants to stick my Matty. Just as long as my gorgeous, hot ass of a lawyer/vigilante Catholic boy... man... is on my screen, I'm golden! 🤣❤️
Welcome back, Daredevil/Matt Murdock!!! ❤️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's some more Daredevil love and appreciation for you below! ❤️❤️❤️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My Dumpster Boys/Bros! 💜❤️
Clint is THIS 🤏🏻 close in discovering that Matt is really blind. Oh, my deaf and beautiful dumbass (he's actually a pretty smart dude in certain areas though; why hasn't he figured it out yet is beyond me). 😂 How I love you, Hawkeye. 💜
