I'm new to this blog, what's dream lamb and dream narinder?? They're cool but I do not understand I wish to comprehend

Dream Lamb (And Dream Narinder) is exactly as the name implies; dream versions of the counterpart that only appears within Narinder's (Or Lambert's) dreams at night.

They are a visual manifestation of the subconscious, they are not real individuals. They can reflect what Narinder/Lamb's true feelings are about something/someone, or torment them about things that they perceive to be true.

One example is that Dream Lamb often makes Narinder remember how fondly he thinks of the Lamb ("You think of them so poetically" + all prior friendship he had with them in the gateway) or pointing out how his words contradict his actions; behaving and believing them to be a traitor and insufferable but doing things of his own will (resurrecting the crab, not killing their flock because it makes them upset, allowing Leshy to live, ect ect).

Dream Lamb ALSO points out the complicated feelings with his siblings; ie reminding him of how he used to help raise his youngers, and the mixture of emotions he feels towards individuals who he claims he despises.

Dream Narinder (Who is not into written form yet and is only in comic form as of this post) who instead of tormenting the dreamer with confrontation of feelings being denied, instead sews doubt and guilt. The Lamb feels even though they stayed true to themselves, they cannot help but feel like their perceived betrayal has damaged the friendship between them and Narinder beyond repair. Despite that grief for the loss of friendship, they'll accept what little companionship they can have from their best friend left over.

Dream Narinder fuels on this, often echoing their worst fears and worries ('You've done a good job as my vessel, so I no longer have a need for you.") So he acts non-nonchalant and often mocking/teasing, or even indulgent with the acknowledgment that none of it is real. Where as Dream Lamb confronts Narinder with feelings he's wanting to push back, Dream Narinder goes the opposite route, and calmly and casually reinforces what they believe to be the reality.

Dream Lamb represents Denial of the Truth, While Dream Narinder is the Acceptance of a Lie.

However,

Because they are corrupted visuals of the subconscious, but still their subconscious nonetheless, this means that these behaviors can change or be different depending on how the dreamer thinks/feels, and how they're processing their emotions in relation to something. Especially when they're confronting it.

In other words, the closer Narinder gets to accepting his feelings and understanding the Lamb's reasoning for their 'betrayal', and the closer the Lamb gets to realizing Narinder's care for them still persists, the more accurate and truer the dreams become.

Like in this comic, where Dream Narinder is tormenting the Lamb, but after their snap back that Narinder would not say something so cruel to them, despite his outward attitude, they are practically rewarded with a praise for it.

For Dream Narinder specifically, his eye remains closed....but opens a little more the closer and closer the Lamb gets to believing how Narinder truly feels about them, whether the real cat has accepted it or not.

As for Dream Lamb, they go from being very aggressive about their confrontation to something more docile, eventually as Narinder starts to process everything.

Another thing: the Dreams are linked. Not always, but they have to be on the same...wavelength for it. An understanding, perhaps. But they do affect each other, sometimes.

The dreams can be nice too, depending. That's why they're not always nightmarish. Meaning, with enough push and pull, eventually:

Why all of this dream and nightmare stuff is happening? Yet to be revealed.

Remember guys if you avoid your feelings in real life they might hunt you down in your dreams, and possibly bluetooth you to the object of your affections dreams as well if you're nice about it

Aemond who wants your attention

As a yandere for you, he is a very possessive and jealous husband. He makes it his business to know where you are, what you are doing, and who you are with, at all times. He does not allow you to associate with other men in any way, shape, or form. This is not because he does not trust you, but because he knows how the mind of a man works, and he knows that some might try to take advantage of your beauty and innocence. He would defend you fiercely should anyone attempt to harm you or make you theirs. You belong to him, and he to you.

He seeks to maintain exclusive control over you. He wants to be the only one who can make you smile, laugh, or feel loved and cherished. He wants you to only have eyes for him, and for no one else to be able to draw your attention. If you even look at another man in a favorable light, he becomes incredibly jealous and feels the need to claim you once again.

He goes to great lengths to make you feel loved and safe. Any moment you are at risk, or even perceived risk is a cause for his concern and attention. Your needs and desires are his utmost priority. As your husband, he is not afraid to show his passion and rage for you. He will move the earth and sky itself to ensure your safety and comfort. His possessiveness, as yandere, is for your good alone, because he cannot stand the thought of another having you.

It would be a problem. He is a man who wants nothing more than to be with you, and for you to be with him. If you paid more attention to anything else but him, it would drive him mad with fury. Especially if that thing was your children. They come from your love, he knows they are a physical manifestation of the bond between you both. They should be treated with the same care and affection that he gives to you but can't help himself.

He would certainly feel a pang of jealousy should you show more affection to your child instead of him but he would have to realize that children are naturally needy just as much as he is. It is in their nature to rely on their parents which causes him to seeth in a slow quiet rage.

If he were to act out of his jealousy, he would make sure your life is absolute torture. He would isolate you from others, keep you from seeing your shared child, and force you into a position of dependence. He would make you feel alone in the world, cut off from everyone else, leaving only him as your sole companion. If he felt you were showing more affection to the child than to him, he would turn the child against you.

He would likely treat your child in a cruel manner, demanding he or she behave in a way that he deems “ proper” rather than allow them to grow and explore on their own terms. He might become too harsh, demanding, and cold, hurting their confidence and self-esteem. He might accuse them of wrongdoing when they are innocent, instilling a fear of him and resentment that could never be forgotten.

Absolutely without hesitation, he would send the child away. He feels there is no reason for you to have a child when you have each other. The idea of you ever having the audacity to give so much attention to the child disgusts him. You should only ever need him. Nothing else matters except you and him. He can and he will keep you under his complete control. You and he can live happily forever if you just let your guard down and come into his embrace forgetting about the child.

He would go as far as lying to you, he would lie to you, and say the child is being sent away for a good reason such as safety or education, just to make you think that his love for them outweighs anyone else. He would do anything and say anything to keep you with him or he would also try to make you see the child in a negative light, he would try to convince you that the child doesn't love you. He would try to convince you that the child hates you, even.

Yes, if it came down to it he would kill your child in an "accident". It would be his secret. He would be sneaky and manipulative to convince you that you don't need your child, that you don't need anyone but him. That you can love him, but no one else. He would be sneaky and manipulative to make himself the only one you ever love just like the situation with your child, sneakiness and deception come as natural to him. He would convince you that the child is no good for the both of you slowly, making sure that you do not suspect him of doing so. He would be extra careful, in this situation so that you do not learn of his ulterior motive.

If you found out about his manipulation towards you and reacted badly, he would be prepared for that. He would use every word in his vocabulary to convince you that he did it for your own good. He would try to convince you that he knew it was the best choice for your relationship. He would try to calm your anger and make you see the good side of the situation, no matter how much the truth may hurt.

He would also try to make you see that the child never truly loved you. He would try to convince you that the child never wanted to be with you, that their love for you was never real. He would try to make you see how good it is that the child was taken away from you. He would try to convince you that your love for him is better than the child's love for you and that you are better off without the child. He would use all of his manipulation tactics for this goal.

If you still didn't believe him, he would use more drastic measures to make you believe him. He would use both words and actions to convince you that he did it for you and that it will benefit you both in the long run. If all else fails, he would threaten you to make you see or even feel what he wanted you to believe.

If you tried to fight back and stop him, he would do everything in his power to either subdue you or convince you that fighting back will only make things worse. He would be determined, and there is no way he would let you stop him. He would do what had to be done for the benefit of your love.

He won't feel guilty about it at all, the reason why he is getting rid of your child is because he loves you so much that he would do anything to be with you. He knows that getting rid of your child seems like a horrible thing to do, but he justifies it by saying that your relationship is more important than anything else in the world.

(1st off, i am a trans man) personally, it makes me slightly uncomfortable when other trans men center their own experiences. don’t get me wrong, we have a right to talk about our issues, but i can’t help but feel like there’s a victim complex going on when some guys say that TERFs are “just as dangerous” to trans men or that baeddelism is a relevant issue (while brushing the misogyny and toxic masculinity in the ftm community under the rug). the fact that you made a post about trans unity and the first ask you got was about how trans men aren’t supported enough by trans women? but like, is that true? is it not ALSO an issue that trans women aren’t supported enough by trans men?

Okay, I hear you, and I acknowledge that I (unfortunately) have fairly limited experience with trans men but I don't know if I like the idea of discounting what they have to say as "a victim complex."

They just want to be heard. And I think they have a right to be upset, given how little representation trans men are given in media. I never saw any discussions on transmasc issues until I came to Tumblr. Never saw it on YouTube or Reddit. Online leftist circles--and even online trans circles!--don't talk about trans men! So, y'know what? If they're being a little melodramatic about their issues, maybe it'll off-set the lack of any knowledge of their issues in the first place.

And also, I think toxic masculinity and misogyny are sort of part of being a man, right now? Which certainly isn't to say it's inherent to men, but society does encourage it. That's what I think should change about being a man. This goes back to societal misandry, I think. Toxic Masculinity is just a manifestation of societal forces that encourage men to behave in unhuman ways, and I think it would be immature of me to expect trans men to perfectly avoid that, in their pursuit of masculinity.

Gender is a performance. We are all looking for the role that makes us most comfortable, but the baggage attached to the roles isn't something you can side-step so easily. Cis people have an advantage on this front, in that they are capable of proving their masculinity or femininity via means other than pure performance. Society *expects* them to be men or women and that means they can gesticulate towards genitalia whenever they're called into question. (They don't always do that, and it's sort of transphobic when they do, but the ones who are comfortable with themselves might say something like that, all the same)

A trans man will uphold toxic masculinity the same way that a trans woman will submit herself to misogyny: it is in pursuit of the perfect encapsulation of the role. Unless we feel like we adequately perform the role inherently, we are inclined to tolerate--and ergo embody, to an extent--the negativity present in the roles we desire.

I believe that lowering the standards for who can be seen as valid in masculinity will alleviate quite a bit of misogyny, whether that misogyny be among transmascs or cis men. So, in saying that, I hope I also illustrate why I'm quick to jump to their defense while also tacking on my ideas about societal misandry and its toll on men.

On the subject of whether or not transfems actually don't support transmascs...I guess I wouldn't really know. I'm not in trans communities because I don't live in a place where that kind of community could show up. I imagine this problem is being blown out of proportion a little bit, but the ask I think you're talking about did say that it was sort of a Tumblr thing? And internet discourse is just...fuckin...so unbelievably shitty. So I'm not too worried about it.

I mean, I'm not going to immediately assume any transfem I meet is inherently misandristic or otherwise bigoted towards transmascs, but I'm still gonna go to bat for transmascs if they get shit-talked, y'know?

An In-depth C-Side Characterization Guide/Cheatsheet by Dottie Fishjuice

Greetings! I am very autistic and therefore knowledgable/cursed about C-Side, and i hope to curse you too. I at least to my knowledge has read thorugh everything provided to us and pondered on it, and now i will be sharing.

This was very much inspired by the analysis provided by @/arogustus and @/evil-urchin.

Everything I will say I will point (at the very least try) to point the source of, because i minored in Comparative Literature so this is how I do literary analysis. The smaller text inside parathesis will be my thoughts and speculations, and I will try to keep these at a minimum, trying to stay as factual as possible.

C-Side as a Whole

C-side is the representative band of the Splatlands region. In fact, it is said that "No band reps harder for the Splatlands than this trio" in Splatbase, not even Deep Cut. They are, aside from Riot Act (which is like C-Side 2), the sole splatband to be from Splatlands.

The Riot Act introduction tweet [by the wording of SplatoonJP] calls them "exemplifying Splatlands values". These values can be a sensitivity to fleeting nature of life, and an effort to be as chic and bold as possible [from Fia's translation of the Artbook]

They have at least been active for 8~ years, being active at the same time as Squid Squad (from Beika's tweets).

In the words of Big Man, "C-side has been making great music for a long time", and has served as one of the musical influences to Deep Cut. [X]

In the tweet presenting Paintscraper [by SplatoonJP, for this bit was lost in translation], they are characterized as a "tight-knit trio". This fondness is also portrayed in several of Beika's tweets.

Who else but Kiki would come back to a band they quit once? Well, I'm pretty sure that the guys who let 'em back in probs would too.

Paintscraper is based on a demo that Walter made. I heard that he played the guitar himself too. It's very silly and ridiculous, but it has a unique charm to it. If I get the chance, I'd like to share it.

(I believe this to be also evident in their music, with Beika and Kikura dueting in all of C-side songs, even Splattack which is originally a solo, speaking into their cohesion as a band and whatnot. Not to mention with Splattack, Uotora and Kikura basically enabled Beika's revenge quest. With the vocalists shouting "C-Side" in Headhammer and Paintscraper, they seem pretty proud of themselves too (which they are and ill talk about it), but this is more speculation than fact. I will get into things more in individual character sections.)

One of the only bits of characterization given by Nintendo to C-side is the fact they have 1) the ambition and 2) the attitude. [X] (I find their ambition to be underrepresented in fandom)

In their introductory tweet [by SplatoonJP, this part again not being translated to English] , they are said to have come from lower economic backgrounds and have no formal music education, making up for this with the said ambition.

As for their attitude, Inue himself has said "The members of C-Side aren’t a well-behaved bunch.". C-side has also been called rowdy, and rebellious.

The combination of their ambition and attitude seems to manifest itself in the form of insolence. It is said that "These three don't doubt for a second that they're the greatest band alive." (And I would like to emphasize "These Three", not only Beika)

That isn't to say their confidence is totally misplaced. They are said to have the most momentum to become the most popular band of Inkfish world [X] out of all, to the point they might have even inspired a counter-movement in the form of H2Whoa ("An Inkopolitan retort to the wild "Splatlands sound" folks were used to"). This is also supported by how the exact word Beika uses to describe Inkopolis is repeatedly used to describe H2Whoa both in their introduction and their Splatbase page, pretentious.

Not only that, Bait and Click (normal and mutation) could also speak into the recognition they get as artists, since the W-3 Cellist is said to recognize only the most radical of works [X]

As for their opinion on salmonid, although Beika uses the word "funny" to describe the salmonid arrangement, Beika calls the Deep Cut arrangement of Now or Never "funny" as well, which overall seems to indicate they have the same level of enthusiasm or respect for Deep Cut and Omega 3. It's remarkably positive language for Salmonid.

They also seem to be very well loved within Splatsville. Despite having no billboards or posters in Splatsville unlike Wet Floor and Squid Squad, the statuettes of their shrimpets are all over Splatsville, in a food stand during Splatfest and in Grizzco office. (It seems to me more like they don't need to advertise in Splatsville at all, people already know who they are, whereas they have posters in Inkopolis)

Another thing to support this is the fact is that trains that come from Splatsville seem to play Clickbait, which you can hear during Big Run [X]. For comparison's sake, the Inkopolis trains play Calamari Inkantation, so it can be said their fame is at least comparable to Callie and Marie.

Speaking of these shrimps, they are implied to be the kind of animal that spooks easily by Frye in her boss dialouge, talking about how "[Neo3] can't treat her eels like shrimp"

Murch's suitcase features an older version of the C-side logo, indicating he is probably a fan.

Although SplatoonNA calls them grungy in their introductory tweet, it is pretty obvious from the tempo of their music, their characterization and the fact they are self taught that C-side is supposed to be less of a grunge band and more of a punk band. For us who are unfamiliar with the difference between genres, grunge is more dark, nihilistic, wretched, angst-filled and anguished, whereas Punk is more rebellious and filled with fighting-spirit. Inue also calls their music "bright, easy to groove to, but still heavy". (I would personally love to see them being characterized as such)

The fact they have no sad defeat theme also probably plays into how C-side is supposed to be bright. The name "Learning Curve" also is a bit more hopeful/positive, possibly giving a glance to how their lyrics could be. (This could speak into their attitude towards their fame, which came after years)

Again playing into their ego, "Rinse/Repeat" seems to be imply something about how effortless winning is to them.

Their music is supposed to be intentionally (by developers) reminiscent of Squid Squad's. In the words of Inue, "We’ve also been keeping in mind the feelings of "primary colors" and "impulses felt when starting something" from the first game." and in the words of Minegishi, "What was at the forefront of music in the first game was a fast, playful and summery feel using just a few notes. For C-Side, which plays a central role in the third game's music, we made the deep bass and upbeat melody stand out in their music while reminding the audience of the sound from the first game."

Interestingly, their music is also supposed to "counter" Wet Floor's.[X].

It is said that "They don't ask permission to cover other artists' tracks, and they claim their versions are better.". Although this brings up the question if they frequently cover other artists' songs, it is most likely refers to Splattack and Splattack only, as Beika feels the need to clarify why they covered Splattack.

And this is the end of the band section.

I will be getting into the very little we know of their individual characterization under Read More. This part will be a bit more speculative, and cannot be as factual due to the nature of how character analysis works. Your interpretation of these facts is just as valid. If you skimmed or scrolled this far, thank you so much for your time.

I will be going in the order of how much we know of these characters. Unfortunately because most we know about these characters come from Beika, in a way at times they are characterized by their interractions with Beika. I hope to not sound biased. Here we go.

Uotora

Uotora is a long spine porcupinefish.

One thing that jumps out from the album art itself is that Uotora has their spikes out. Spikes of porcupinefish, which Uotora is, only stick out when they are are inflated and otherwise is supposed to lay flat against their body. You already probably know that these fish inflate themselves when they are frightened/threatened. Given this fact, it is very likely Uotora has an anxious personality. (This could be also be playing into Uotora's name in an ironic manner. Uotora, which means tiger fish, could be a play on the scary fish being scared themselves)

They must have a bit of an ego though, considering "These three don't doubt they are the greatest band alive."

They, along with Kikura, seem to support/enable Beika's conflict with Ichiya, from the wording "In the case of Squid Squad's Now or Never!, they [as a group] even claim to be the originators."

They play the guitar and the drums in the Uotora demo. Listening closely, you can seemingly vaguely hear Beika singing along, which speaks to their bond.

Speaking of bonds, the phrasing of Beika's tweet characterizes them as just as willing to welcome Kikura back as Beika was.

Who else but Kiki would come back to a band they quit once? Well, I'm pretty sure that the guys who let 'em back in probs would too.

Kikura

Kikura is a peacock bass.

Peacock bass are said to be aggressive and "downright belligerent" (pointing this out since it would probably affect them the same way Finn being a betta affects Finn)

Apperantly there is still an ambiguity about this, Kikura is the owner of the high-pitched voice without any doubt. In the music for Splatoon that has multiple vocalists, the vocals are panned to only play in one ear and which vocals play for which side line up with the album art for these groups, which makes Kikura who is in the right lined up with the high-pitched voice. We are also able to infer this from Clickbait, in the call and response part of the song, the high-pitched voice only sings when the guitar is playing.

They are stated to be often late to the studio.

They are said to be known for their deep and edgy guitar riffs [X].

According to Beika, they at some point left the band but came back. Beika speaks fondly of this, implying a level of trust between the two.

Who else but Kiki would come back to a band they quit once?

The relationship between the two seems to go beyond this. Despite Beika writing the Triple Dip, they are barely in it, propping Kikura in the song. This also happens in Splattack, which is not only turned into a duet, but also is more guitar heavy, at times removing the bass sections [X]. (It seems to me that Beika likes to show off Kikura)

They, along with Uotora, seem to support/enable Beika's conflict with Ichiya, from the wording "In the case of Squid Squad's Now or Never!, they [as a group] even claim to be the originators."

Again, they are implied to have a bit of an ego, "greatest band alive" yada yada yada.

The tweet about leaving is not about Riot Act, since Riot Act is said to be "Hot on the indie scene", implying it is a new development.

Riot Act is a side project, which in popular music, is a project undertaken by one or more people already known for their involvement in another band, which SplatoonNA also points towards. So no, Kiki didn't leave C-side for Riot Act (but did steal Finn from Beika).

However it might be important to mention when asked about No Plan Survives, they with Finn said "We wanted to play as freely as possible".

Beika

Beika is an inkling. Shocker.

Despite their vague similarities the idea Beika is Frye's brother is contradicted by canon, as Beika implied from their tweets (and the fact that C-side acted as a musical influence to Deep Cut) is older than Frye, not younger. (I made a chart for this)

They are the lower voice for the same reasons I stated for Kiku.

From their first tweets, they come off as friendly/cool or at the very least make the effort to come off as friendly/cool (I use cool very loosely).

There is likely a delibarate effort to cultivate a positive persona by Beika, in how they seem to chastise themselves about how upset they have gotten and /or how they presented themselves with "I rambled too much last night." Another thing pointing at how Beika might be avoiding negativity is with how they seem to undercut their criticisms of Inkopolis scene by stating how they like Bottom Feeders and how they would like everyone to listen to their music.

They seem to be very invested in the music making process, as their first tweets are entirely about their music.

They seem to have the potential to be overdramatic sometimes, as they start their rant with the words "I'm typing this in a drunken stupor". Then again, they are drunk so take this with a grain of salt. (You know C-side lyrics probably go hard)

THIS IS ACTUALLY SO IMPORTANT: Beika does not make the accusation that Ichiya stole the song while drunk!! Please look at the wording!!

I've said this half a billion times this year alone, but Now or Never is a C-Side original.

"I've said this a million times this year alone" clearly shows Beika has made this accusation before.

Other than being very funny, the fact Beika can't seem to even remember Squid Squad's name seems to imply they are indifferent to it. The fact Ichiya is the only Squid Squad member called by name in their tweets goes to show it is Ichiya and Ichiya alone that drives Beika's ire. This is also supported by Beika's, although backhanded, compliment.

The tweet Beika makes before revealing Ichiya was their middle schoolmate is "If there's anything better than a late night meal alone, let me know.". This could very well be interpreted as Beika associating that feeling of loneliness with Ichiya.

It is also important to point out Ichiya did contact Beika.

He decided he was going to go to Inkopolis, and then after a little while, he told me that he had debuted with a band. I tried listening to them just to find out that their sound was so soft that it made my ink churn.

Along with "The Secrets of Front Roe" pointing out Ichiya is avoiding Splatsville "for some reason", it is more than reasonable Beika is not making up the fact Ichiya and them know of each other, and it is not a fit of baseless jelaousy.

While dissing Ichiya, they make time to talk about how they think their fans are cool and talented.

... Any of you guys would be able to make a song that's just as cool.

While doing so they also flaunt their talent, showing the extent of their ego.

I mean our song is this one 300 times better, right? Just wanted to make it clear that we're not trying to pay homage to it or anything like that.

The "You have some nerve to come crawling back home." is said in a very, very harsh tone in Japanese. The wording specifically seems to imply they are very upset at Ichiya leaving in the first place.

While Beika is a loser, they aren't seemingly the type to back down from a fight. Rather than apologizing, they simply say "I rambled too much last night." and go on with their lives.

And this is the end of it.

NOW. For a complete speculation,

From wording of "Who else would come back to a band they left" and their need to prop up and show off Kikura,

The fact Ichiya is self taught much like C-Side,

The fact Ichiya is avoiding Splatsville,

The fact Beika seems too proud of their work and very involved in the music making process

The fact C-side is characterized through their ambition

makes me think Ichiya more likely than not did steal Now or Never. It seems to me Beika's pride and ambition would not allow them to lie about a thing they didn't do. If i were to guess, from the fact C-side's Now or Never is a duet, it is likely song was written together before Ichiya took off.

Like they were having small disagreement when he raised his hand to touch his face - and the reader flinched at that?

I can imagine him getting flashbacks to his father and how he used to treat his mother. He would feel so bad :(. Like, 'Does she think I'll hurt her? Is she scared of me? What if I do end up like my father?' And have a mini breakdown.

But from the reader's POV, she wasn't really "scared" of him. She just saw movements from the corner of her eye, and her body reacted for her.

I’m going to answer these two together because they kind of interlap!

Ooh this kind of behavior would remind him of his mother and only amp up König’s protectiveness for sure! I can’t stress it enough that the more his woman needs him, the better König feels about himself. It’s his life’s purpose to take care of his companion (so much so that this caretaking gains manipulative, stalkish and possessive elements...)

Truth be told, he would view this kind of behavior as you being helpless. And helpless creatures draw him in. König very much has a thing for helpless women. There's a tug of war inside him: between the need to protect those few he cares about and the need to just annihilate the whole world that has made him suffer.

The last thing König wants is to become a replica of his father. That’s why women get treated differently, like they’re delicate flowers (because König is in fact scared of himself and that he might hurt them), and that’s why his woman will be protected and sheltered and taken care of. At all costs. She will never suffer the same abuse his mother did.

Some time had passed since your embarrassing encounter with Optimus, and things around the base had been quite unusual, to say the least. Not only has Optimus been practically attached to your hip, but he’s also started behaving very strangely around you.

He smells nice, like he had somehow nabbed a fresh bottle of cologne. His frame looks cleaner and more buffed out than usual. One would say that the red and blue mech had taken more interest in the upkeeping of personal hygiene, which isn’t hard to believe. But what is hard to believe is the increasing amount of subtle winks he gives you when no one else is around.

This was probably expected coming from the recent behaviour of the Prime, but the shock never leaves your face as you close the door behind you and step into his candle-lit quarters.

Optimus is mass-displaced, slumping in a chair facing you, pedes half crossed on his knees, giving you a slight glimpse of his inner thighs. A forearm rests on the armchair, digits tapping rhythmically as if to send you into a trance. His other servo drapes lightly on his thigh, brushing against the inner protomass. You gulp, raking your eyes over every inch of his frame until you meet half-lidded optics. Soft but unquestionably oozing arousal.

You try to say something, anything, but your mouth runs dry from the pure, unfiltered sex radiating from him. Optimus notices and his thin-lined dermas curl up devilishly.

“Good evening,” Optimus hums, “Apologies for messaging you abruptly, but I’d like to talk with you if that is all right.”

“I suppose there is,” Optimus leans forward once you’re standing directly in front of him, his elbow on his knee, and holy fuck is he hot, “Can I just say how utterly bewitching you are?”

A pause, “M-Me? Surely not. I think you’ve got the wrong gal.”

“Was it not you that I attempted to court to forestall your leave?” Optimus tilts his helm, digits drumming on his knee, “It worked, did it not?”

You need to be very careful with your following words because the look Optimus is giving you right now screams, ‘If you say yes, I’m gonna fuck the brains out of you and give you the best orgasm of your entire life’. Which doesn’t sound too bad right now; your loins are on fire, and it’s becoming increasingly harder to think straight.

“I know you harbour feelings for me,” Optimus pushes his servos into the armrest and stands up. He then crouches down to be at eye level with you because even when mass-displaced, he still towers above you by a solid foot, “Say the word, and I will satisfy you enough to last you a lifetime.”

You’re in too deep now. Slowly, you nod and cup his faceplate in your warm hands, inching closer and closer, “Yes.”

You close the distance to his dermas, and he fucking growls. His grip on your ass is firm as he returns the kiss with the intensity of a firestorm, glossa pressing against your tongue in an act of dominance.

After gaining your full permission and miraculously without breaking the heated kiss, Optimus throws you onto the blanket-covered berth behind you, thanking Primus that he had organised the soft landing before your arrival. Feeling his glossa pressing against your neck, you softly moan, lulling your head to the side for more access. You can feel him suckle slightly, and your breath hitches, eyes fluttering shut. He’s marking you, and you have no choice but to submit yourself to him.

Optimus hitches his breath. “Mmmm, these are delightful,” Optimus purrs, digits kneading into your plump flesh, “So very soft…”

You bite back a moan before pulling his servo away from you, “I know, but let’s not get distracted, hm? You can play with them after.” You then maneuver yourself so you face first with his interfacing array, which you notice is already bowed out; your breasts squishing against his abdominal plating.

ACTING AS IF.

If this doesn't resonate with you, do not accept it as your truth. These are just my thoughts!

Hot take: In my experience, having a mental diet/thinking as if/living in the end/changing your mindset or POV for manifestation or law of assumption is only half the "work."

You change yourself because you're the operant power and you are all there is, you are taking back your power instead of giving power to the fake circumstances and "3d" to tell you what you have to to make any changes. These things are powerless and only exist because you assume they do. So, in order to fully change yourself and fully commit, try acting as if in addition to thinking as if.

What is acting as if, Ssera?

Acting as if is behaving/presenting yourself like the version of you/your reality as if it is in your favor. For example, lets say someone decides to be confident one day after years of not being confident. This is a decision to change their character - it's not like they "do" anything - they just decide/assume and the changes are instant. What they "did" was decide they were now a confident person, and then their mindset and "acting as if" naturally aligned!

I think logic is a reason some people may be worried to act as if, because "what if this" and "what if that" or "I can' t because of [irrelevant opposing circumstance]," or "I have to get this before I act as if." But none of these things are true. When a delivery is on its way, do you act as if its yours before or after it comes to your door? Before, right? Because you placed the order and paid, so you KNOW it's yours regardless of whether it's physically there with you or not. Same thing with manifesting. You decide it's yours mentally, so act as if it's yours, too! This doesn't imply that you have to go spend money that "3d you doesn't have" or do something that will endanger 3d you. It just means your behavior.

EXAMPLE! ><

If you assume you are a KPOP idol, this is how you could act as if:

*Checking phone, while relaxing, checks Instagram* "OH MY GOSH! My recent Instagram post has such cute comments on it! [My/Our] fans are so sweet! OMG WAIT TWICE'S NAYEON COMMENTED TOO?!?! I will CRY!! She's my inspiration! I'm so thankful for all this, EEEK! ..... Wait, haha, what time is it? *sees the time* Oh shoot! I'd better get ready, [I/we] have dance rehearsal for [my/our] upcoming comeback! *puts phone down and goes to get ready*

And you would just act this way throughout the day!

"In the 3d - going to school" Act as if going to a tour rehearsal day

"In the 3d - doing chores" Act as if you're at a fanmeeting!

"In the 3d - something "other than your assumption" Act as if (what it would be in your desired reality/an ideal situation) because that's what it IS!

This DOESN'T MEAN you stop your ego/body-mind from doing what it needs to do in the "3d," just DON'T react to this illusion, it isn't real. Let the illusionary "3d you" do their homework, go to bed, drink water, do chores, etc.. but behave as if you are "doing things" in your ideal reality, not the things you don't want.

It also doesn't necessarily mean "doing things as if you have what you want," but if "doing" helps you, go for it!

Another example:

Let's say you assume you can sew clothes or produce music, or that you can sing amazingly. You don't HAVE to sing every day or make your own music or design clothes physically "in the 3d," but if you already do these things and want to assume you're a pro at them, keep doing them if you want to! In short, don't have the mindset that it's done and act as if you're waiting for things to change in your favor!

hi, sorry this has taken me a bit to get to, i've had a hectic few days, and i knew i'd end up writing a lot!

ASPD:

i'll start by saying that i don't have ASPD, so i'm just going to give the basics and hand you off to people who DO have it. it's important to bear in mind that ASPD is primarily considered traumagenic, and that, like any other disorder, it can manifest in a bunch of different ways, and people with it can behave very differently from one another.

ASPD is a cluster b personality disorder characterised by low empathy, limited range and depth of emotions, disregard for other people's feelings, disregard for societal conventions and morality, chronic anger, and chronic boredom. the common view of pwASPD is that they are violent criminals, but that is primarily because research is only ever done on the worst kinds of people, and i'm sure many of them are misdiagnosed. i'm sure i don't need to explain to you why basing a disorder solely off of people in prison is fucked as a concept, given how both the prison system and psychiatry are both incredibly flawed. (it's also for this reason that i have no scientific studies to give you, because the only ones i've come across are grossly ableist)

having ASPD comes with a lot of challenges, but having a disorder - any disorder - doesn't make you a bad person. from what i have seen, a lot of pwASPD don't so much 'not have morals' as have a deep distrust of authority and base their morality on logic or serving their own interests. in fact i've seen an awful lot of pwASPD who are very left leaning or are anarchists. of course there's also plenty who are right wing assholes, but that kind of goes to show that a disorder doesn't dictate your morality, it just might lead you to approach your sense of morality differently.

EMPATHY:

my favourite thing to rant about. empathy is wildly misunderstood by most people, so let's start off with a proper description. there are two main types of empathy: cognitive and affective. you will also see some people say that there's a third type, 'compassionate empathy', but i have never seen a definition of it that isn't based on the idea that empathy is necessary for compassion, so i'm ignoring it, and i'll get to compassion later.

cognitive empathy: basically, thinking about feeling. cognitive empathy is the ability to recognise and understand emotions. it is involved with reading people's expressions, or understanding why a certain situation might cause a certain emotional response.

affective empathy: this is typically what people mean when they talk about empathy - the ability to feel what someone else is feeling.

it's extremely important to note that this is fucking impossible. 'feeling what someone else is feeling' is some sci-fi nonsense. it isn't real. the belief that it is causes a lot of harm.

affective empathy, properly defined, is the a person's emotional response to an emotion that they perceive someone else having. it isn't always as simple as 'i'm happy because they're happy'. affective empathy can also be involved in more complicated situations, like feeling afraid because of perceived anger (which leads to a whole conversation about hyperempathy and hypervigilance and the relationship between them, but that's a whole other post that someone who actually has feelings would be more qualified to write)

so that's empathy. it's really just a bunch of feelings that we have about or in relation to other people's feelings. there's no moral component to feelings whatsoever. morality only comes into play when action is involved. which leads me to...

compassion: being kind, not as an inherent state of being, but as a choice.

i'll talk about my own experience here, but i've heard similar from other people with low/no empathy, and i've heard similar from some pwASPD as well.

i choose to be kind because i believe it's the right thing to do. i see a lot of injustice in the world, and it makes me furious - in fact, for me, it's primarily my anger that fuels my compassion. my morals have been based partly on feeling, but also on logic, and on a lot of research. to me, being kind is logical and sensible. it's logical to want people to be happy and safe and free. it benefits me too, for starters.

i don't need to feel sad about people's suffering to want it to stop. and though i don't really feel much empathy, i do still get emotional about things - i can still be sad or angry or happy about certain things happening, it's just... less than other people.

i look at the world around me and i try to find things that i can do to make it better because i think that's my job as a human. sometimes i'm bad at it, and sometimes i'm too tired to, but at the very least i can refuse to cause harm, and when i do, inevitably, cause harm, i can make amends.

(there's also a long discussion to be had about how basing your morality on your ability to empathise with people makes it extremely easy to no longer care about people who have been dehumanised, but that's a post i don't feel qualified to make)

Fyodor:

He feels for you, knowing that losing someone you care about must be difficult, and as such he'll do what he best thinks will help you open your heart again and get you to trust him

This mostly manifests in him being very protective, but also being very patient and gentle with you

Would actually give you a lot of cuddles if you wanted him to. He likes being your safe place, it makes him feel stronger

Fyodor is more than happy to listen to you when you need something from him and provide whatever it is- he'll treat you like royalty <3 (honestly he'd do that regardless though)

He doesn't really say anything about your friend's death or your trauma and usually just waits for you to bring it up if you want to talk to him about it (he doesn't want to catch you off-guard and cause an attack or anything like that)

If you want space he'll give you space, but he'll also worry a little but about you (he would never tell you that though lol)

He feels that there's not much to be done about it besides move on, so he also sometimes tries to...distract you in a way? He'll try to take your mind off your grief by keeping you busy or spending his free time with you

He'll sometimes talk about life and philosophical stuff with you when you talk to him about your feeling, and that makes you feel a lot better about everything

Dazai:

Right, so he's in the same boat as you are. He knows exactly how you feel and so he's probably the best person you could have chosen to be your S/O in that regard

He actually opens up about Odasaku to you! Just a little bit though, just so you know that he does get it

Dazai really gives you a lot of space if he knows that you have trust issues, because he doesn't wanna make you feel overwhelmed and as if he's rushing things

Might just behave a little too distant at times though, you gotta let him know that giving you space doesn't mean ghosting you totally T-T (he doesn't WANT to ghost you he's just worried that he'd otherwise be too clingy, which he is kinda)

Never takes it personally when you want to take your time progressing your guys' relationship, he's willing to go as slow as you need him to

Lowkey turns up the charisma a little because he wants to make you feel happy sometimes even if it's because of something kinda silly like a smooth pickup line (lol)

He really just hates to see you sad and will oblige you a lot of the time if it means you'll feel better

Dazai loves you so much that he'd even forego attempting suicide (as much as he already does at least) for your sake, making promises to you that he won't leave you or break your heart either

Chuuya:

He also knows what it's like to lose people he loves so he really feels for you and wants to help you feel better

Encourages you to be open about your feelings with him so he can understand better and so you don't bottle them up. He's a really good listener and won't really interrupt you or anything (he'd respect if you didn't want to talk sometimes though)

He also lets you cry on his shoulder whenever you need and when you do he's there to hug and comfort you

Always thanks you for trusting him after you divulge private information or otherwise act vulnerable around him (and is also lowkey pretty flattered about it)

Chuuya will also purposefully separate you from his mafia life to keep you away from violence and otherwise dark stuff because he doesn't want to distress you or traumatise you any more

Every now and then he asks if he's being too overbearing and if you'd like space (he doesn't want to you find him suffocating or anything T-T)

Honestly just handles your grief and supports you super well, and overall does help you heal and move on

Also he will promise to never hurt you and tell you he loves you like every single day until it sticks in your brain

basically whenever i try to write recently, i get somewhere between 50 to 1000 words in (which really isnt much by my standards) before i start to get extremely tired? i’m not sure why, and i am struggling to write because i just get exhausted instantly

Becoming Exhausted When Writing

It's really not uncommon for writers to experience physical exhaustion when writing--sometimes after only a short period of time. Here are some of the reasons this happens and some tips for how to deal with it. :)

1 - Mental Exhaustion = Physical Exhaustion - The brain is an organ, not a muscle, but it behaves a lot like a muscle in that it gets stronger with "exercise" and can become fatigued with overuse. Writing is kind of like doing a cardio session for your brain. The creative load requires your brain to work really hard and expend a lot of energy, so the bigger that creative load, the faster you're going to feel tired. If you think of unwritten stories as untamed jungles, some writers can be plunked into the middle of the thick vegetation, without a map or resources, and machete a straight path back to civilization. Many of us can't do that, though. We machete circles through the jungle, lost and bewildered, hungry and dehydrated, exhausted and mosquito-bitten--and that's exhausting. So, if you find yourself becoming quickly exhausted when you sit down to write, it's worth considering how much of a creative load you're putting on your brain. If it's not an issue of what to write and where the story is going, something else is going on. For example, if you've had a taxing brain day before you even sit down to write, your remaining energy will vanish fast. But, if you find yourself wandering in circles through your story, you may just need to do some better planning. Having a "map" through your story and heading into the story jungle with resources ready can make a big difference.

2 - Actual Physical Exhaustion - Sometimes the problem isn't with our brains but with our bodies. Lack of sleep, health issues, busy days, mild dehydration, and life stress are all things that can contribute to physical exhaustion that makes us feel sleepy when we write. Some solutions: make sure you get enough sleep or try taking a power nap before you write. Exercise or taking a walk before you write can give you an energy boost, too. Drink some water, coffee, or an energizing smoothie before you write. If you're under life stress, try meditating or taking a refreshing shower before you write.

3 - Creative Stress - Millions of years of evolution have led our brains to be wired to avoid things that are stressful because they might be dangerous. Originally, this was to help us stay physically safe. If you knew there might be lions down a particular path, the thought of going down that path would be stressful, so your brain would say, "Nope, don't go that way." It works the same way with writing. If writing feels stressful to you--maybe because you're not sure what to write or are giving yourself a hard time about not making word counts or deadlines--your brain perceives writing as a threat and says, "Nope, don't go that way." This causes your "fight or flight" response to kick in when you start writing. That might manifest as your inner critic, distracting yourself, or experiencing writer's block. Pushing forward anyway can create even more stress, and that's when you start to feel exhausted. The best way to deal with this is to make writing as stress-free as you possibly can so your brain doesn't perceive it as a threat. Make sure you know where your story is going and what you need to write during each writing session, whether that means just thinking about it ahead of time or planning it out. Don't give yourself a hard time for not meeting word counts or deadlines, and don't even strive toward those (unless you have to) if they cause you undue stress. Instead, try setting small, attainable goals and reward yourself for reaching them. For example, instead of trying trying to hit a particular word count, try to write for ten minutes each day. If that's not a problem, go for twenty and so on. Set your goal just a few minutes above what you know you can hit. Then, raise it accordingly. Also, try setting up a writing routine and making sure you have a comfortable, inviting place to write if possible. Taking a walk, shower, or meditating before you write can help here, too.

This is part 4 of my ongoing Marionette series. I figured I'd answer this here as someone asked about it. I called her "Nette" as a shortened version of Marionette. Kinda like 'the radio demon' it's just her title. Hope you guys enjoy this part. Sorry for any writing errors 🤍

Synapsis:

A new overlord has manifested in hell seemingly overnight. One that overpowered many if not all of the current overlords in all the right ways. Will this overlord use her powers for good to help the members of the hotel? Will she fall in love with a man and end up in a loving gentle relationship? Or will she get her heart broken and turn against them all, burning each bridge she meticulously made.

The Marionette is a heart wrenching fic with many turns you won't see coming. Stay tuned for each of the episodes as they are released.

The marionette turned swiftly, taking a few steps forwards then turned to face the 3 boys kneeling on the ground. She squatted down to eye level with them before pulling on each of their chains towards her. “I told you all to behave on the trip over here. I suggest we quickly remember exactly what that means. Now sit on the couch and wait until you’re told to do otherwise. Understand?” She growled out at them. Releasing them they all stood moving towards the couch where they sat down quickly so as to not anger their mama further. Nette turned towards the gentlemen and princess before saying “I will fix the damage done to the building, Charlie if you could lead me there that would be great.” “Of course” Charlie said, walking towards the hallway with Nette following behind her. The men in the main area followed the 2 women with their eyes. Confusion setting in as the overlord didn’t allow another second for argument about the task. Just simply stated she was going to do it and walked away. ‘That woman has balls’ Lucifer found himself thinking.

Down the hallway the 2 females walked in silence. Charlie not wanting to upset the overlord anymore than she obviously already was, but also worried she might not want to hear about the hotel anymore. “Apologies for my suddenness back there, I try not to raise my voice because I don’t like violence. But my boys tend to think themselves unstoppable and like to pick fights with anyone if it means they can prove their strength. Sometimes I have to remind them that just because they’re down here does not mean they can’t die again.” Charlie opened the door to a room before walking in. Nette following closely behind her. Upon entering Nette realized this must be the room that took the most damage. “It’s okay, I understand you’re worried about your children, as most parents are” she said to the overlord walking to switch on the lights. Nette quickly set her cane down, and walked towards the blown out section of the wall before untying a cobalt blue string from her wrist. She began using it to essentially ‘stitch’ the wall back into place. Pulling each piece up and putting the wall together like a puzzle. Every piece had a place and Each piece in its place. The strings were light with their movement easily lifting even the largest of pieces of the wall and dusting the smaller pieces back together. Charlie watched in awe as she hadn’t seen anything like this before. The strings were almost lucid. Like they had minds of their own, floating around moving with an almost musical approach. She thought it was beautiful.

Nette snapped her out of her trance when she began talking “ yes I protect them, but I’m worried they will get themselves into trouble in which I won’t be able to. And attempting to fight the king of hell isn’t something I ever want them trying to do. No matter how bad things get, or how things turn out I don’t want to see them walk that path.” Nette said with a strained face. Charlie could tell this overlord cared truly and deeply for the boys she called her own. She protected them with every fiber of her being and would do so no matter the cost. “You truly care for them” “with every fiber of my being” Nette said carefully. “Well enough of that, why don’t you tell me about this ‘hotel’ you guys are running here?” Nette said as her strings were putting together the small last part of the wall. “Of course! So the hotel is called the Hazbin Hotel. We are working towards redeeming sinners so they can get into heaven. So far we have been working on trust, and love, as well as caring for other people. We have made a lot of progress in terms of the sinners that are staying here.” Charlie said proudly, smiling the whole time. Nette could immediately tell she was very passionate about this project and about helping sinners. “Have you managed to get anyone into heaven?” Nette asked curiously. “Well no but we have managed to find out a little more about what gets a person into heaven so we are working on that for now.” “If you are trying to help sinners get into heaven why not ask the angels for help?” The question made Charlie’s skin crawl a bit. “Heaven is not as easy as you may think. We went there and spoke to a seraphim in front of a court to plead our case and it did not turn out well. It caused for the next extermination that took place to be targeting our hotel specifically. Which led to us losing a member of our family here at the hotel. He gave his life trying to protect us, and we are forever grateful for him.”

“Hmm well can I give my opinion on the matter?” Nette carefully said. “Of course” Charlie looked right at her. “What if you're asking the wrong people for help? Angels such as seraphim are heaven born. They’ve never experienced life on earth. Living through a time where things are hard and you have to do things to survive. They’ve never gone through that. So why would you ask them what gets someone into heaven? It’s like asking a Sin down here what gets someone into hell- Granted that might be an easier question for them to answer- they’d have a hard time telling you because they’ve never lived a life on earth. Shouldn’t you ask the souls who ended up in heaven what happened during their lives that made them get into heaven?” Charlie looked at her for a second before standing abruptly. “Why didn’t I ever think of that! Of course, angels born in heaven wouldn’t know what gets someone into heaven. All they’ve ever known is what has been told and taught to them there.” She began walking out the room quickly before coming back in and gesturing for Nette to follow her.

Nette stood and walked behind her back to the living area. Quickly glancing back at the wall to ensure it was fixed completely. Upon looking at it she couldn’t tell the wall was ever damaged to begin with. Walking back into the living room, Nette saw that the boys were still seated on the couch but seemed to be glaring at both the king of hell and the radio demon just the same. Charlie then quickly announced “hey guys come here for a sec” Each member of the hotel walked back into the main area and took a seat waiting to hear what Charlie was so excited about. “We were talking in the other room and -sorry what do we call you?” “Nette is fine” “okay well Nette had a very good idea about the hotel. In terms of figuring out what causes a person to get into heaven. Why not ask the people who made it into heaven what their life was like so comparisons can be made and we can see what each of you has to do in order to get there.” “That actually makes a lot of sense babe, but how exactly are we gonna talk to someone who made it to heaven. We all know how our visit to heaven went last time” Vaggie said. “Yes, that's the one part we have to work out is how exactly we are going to talk to one of the souls.” Charlie said then sat down and began thinking. “In the meantime Nette would you want to stay at the hotel with us? We could really use your help if you are willing to” Charlie said to the blue-hued overlord who was standing behind her sons.

Nette turned to her sons, thinking quietly to herself. Would this really help? What could she even help with at the hotel? Of course she had to go off and open her stupid mouth about something and end up in this weird situation. Living alongside not only the radio demon, but both the princess and king of hell as well. But then again they wouldn’t have to pay such expensive rent, and each of the boys would get their own rooms. Which means no more fighting about who gets to use the shower first. The issue might lie in the fact the boys play games so often and bringing a newer model TV might be out of the question considering the asshole of a tv overlord. But in the end Wouldn’t this just be the best option for them? It provides security as well as safety knowing so many powerful people live under the same roof. Nette sat pondering over the options of the hotel comparing their current life to the one they would possibly have at the hotel. Quietly Charlie hoped they would say yes. Not only are her strings powerful but it was obvious her contracts were as well. This overlord was one that might be able to help against the Vees should that time ever come. “I don’t know…” Nette looked at each of her sons seemingly asking their opinion on the matter. The others couldn’t tell but each of the boys could talk to their mama through the string connected to their wrists. So they all had their hands on the string discussing the pros and cons about moving. Kai then said out loud “I wouldn’t mind it, doesn’t seem too bad of an option” followed by Alex smacking him and saying “well it’s not your decision” Nette turned to face Charlie directly and said “I think we might just take you up on your offer, but I’m sure the boys have many questions about what they are and are not allowed to bring with them.” Charlie smiled warmly and nodded quickly signaling she didn’t mind discussing rules and the like of the hotel. The group began discussing what things the boys have, and cracking jokes about the stupid things they would bring with them.

Nette found herself smiling as her boys seemed to get along rather well with Nifty and Angel. Hopefully things go well from now on and they can learn to get along with both the red-haired overlord and prideful king. For now anyway they would have to figure out a way to get things moved into the hotel. But Nette figured that conversation could wait till a bit later as she couldn’t bring herself to tear her boys away from the group who were laughing and talking about random things. Nette turned and saw Alastor standing just past the doorway into the kitchen. Slowly he made eye contact with her, giving her a look and then walking into the kitchen. Nette knew what that meant. He wanted to talk to her alone, but what could he possibly want with her? She’d have to go into the kitchen to find out.

could you have an equator going on a weird shape like a spiral or the infinity symbol?

In a literal way, no, since by definition the equator is the line that divides a sphere or spheroid in half. But you could get some strange shapes, even in real life.

I'll have to get back to you later on the spiral one, since it's a real interesting one to ponder, as I'm trying to picture how would a "spiral" world would look like. If you read my Flat Worlds or Disc Worlds post, in a (completely fantastical or ultratech setting of course) situation where the source of light are actually orbiting luminaries as in "spotlights", you could make the "sun" travel in a spiral or meandering path, where the most illuminated zones would be tropical and the less illuminated ones be cold, you could have a strange spiral pattern to your climate, though I have NO idea how would that work in a wider plane. Given that a flat world would be made of magic (or ultratech) material to begin with, there is also no real reason why it couldn't be shaped like say, a spiral, an asterisk or a flower instead of a disk, but I don't know how the gravity would work. In a world with so many strange edges, in real life, if it somehow manifested, gravity would try to push it into a disk and later a sphere. If it maintained itself stable, you would find many, many "edges of the world", for more info, see my flat worlds post.

HOWEVER, you might be surprised that toroidal, that is, donught shaped planets are enterily possible under the natural laws of physics:

Both scientists and science fiction authors have studied the possibility, and they have proven that with natural materials like iron and silicon, such a shape could be stable and it could have an stable orbit on itself. You would have an inner and outer "equator" (not sure of the right terminology) and there have been some speculations on how climate and such would work. I'm too busy to look for them right now, but I will try to make a mini-post on them.

The thing, of course, is that it's highly unlikely if not impossible that such worlds would form naturally (though an artificial one would behave exactly like a natural spherical planet). There are some possible toroid systems of planet formations but it's all speculative. However, the universe is so absurdly large that I'm very willing to bet that at least one exists naturally somewhere.

Now, I know what you're thinking, could you fuse two of these toroid worlds to make an infinite (or 8) shaped world? How would that work? I'm not a physicist but I'm willing to bet it "wouldn't", at least in a realistic way, and I'm having a hard time to picture how would day and night work there. I have this stupid idea of a sun going up and down in both holes, but that would mean the outer part would be in perpetual darkness, wouldn't it? Still, it's interesting for the noveltly if nothing else.

There is an example of such fused "worlds", Arrokoth, but this one is more of a pack of comets mushed together than an actual planet, it's about 35 km long. I doubt it could happen with larger worlds. Still, interesting.

There could also be some fusiform worlds or egg-shaped worlds, and indeed we HAVE found some like Haumea, as well as twin worlds (Pluto and Charon practically are one, as well as the Earth-Moon system) that could result in odd shapes. I might make a post about these and more strange world shapes in the future; for now, enjoy the flat worlds one!

Since it's obvious that deku is going to save shigaraki and it's very unlikely that Shigaraki's going to die: what are your hopes for the ending? the main theories I have seen are imprisoned (which? Doesn't seem that likely) or being adopted by all might and becoming a pro hero (which seems more likely? But I'd rather have the hero system not survive the manga)

Well, that's sort of two separate things: my hopes for the ending vs what will probably happen.

What I hope for is Shigaraki and the League pulling a karma houdini and running off into the sunset, never to get caught or serve time or pay for their crimes. That’s not to say they don't change - they stop being Villains out to destroy society, they're genuinely remorseful for the damage they've done, they make it up with self-assigned community service (vigilantism) for the rest of their lives. They run an orphanage that takes in the abandoned, the abused, the abnormal, and raise hundreds of children to be healthy, happy adults. Something like that.

I hope for this, because the series has not convinced me that much of anything has changed or will change so that what the League went through won't happen again, that the various failures of Hero Society will be corrected, that Heroes are doing anything substantial to prevent new Villains. A few Heroes here and there have finally approached a Villain and acknowledged that they're human and they have been wronged in some way - but they have not addressed at all the root causes.

The manga seems to believe that if only these Villains had been lucky enough to meet the one person who could've convinced them to endure the abuses, to not lash out, things would've been fine. If only Enji had gone to meet Touya and apologize - never mind the Hero ranking system that contributed to Enji’s toxic mindset, or the existence of the Himura clan who enabled a quirk marriage because they hated heteromorphs so much they would rather inbreed. If only Toga had met Ochako when she was younger - then she could've braved through quirk counseling and her parents emotionally abusing her. If only heteromorphs could've focused on good memories and be shining model minorities instead of being resentful - that’ll get those bigots who commit hate crimes against children to feel ashamed!

At the rate this is going, Deku vs Shigaraki will probably be something like this: If only there was a Deku-like person who was on the streets that day that Tenko was walking - then Tenko wouldn't have become justifiably resentful of the hundreds of other people who did ignore an injured five-year-old. If only he had a Deku-like friend who had magically appeared in the yard that night - then Tenko could've swallowed down his tears and smiled away the pain of his father’s abuse and family’s neglect.

If only a Deku-like Hero could’ve saved Tenko instead of All For One, then everything would’ve turned out okay - because it was AFO who entirely manufactured and introduced to Tenko the foreign, dangerous element of anger. It’s not as if being an orphan with a scary face (Jin), being known as the kid who killed his family/associated with having done something bad despite it being an accident (Gentle), having a strong quirk that people might fear (Toga), the possibility of being placed again in an dysfunctional/abusive home (Touya), the possibility of experiencing bullying because of all these things that make him stick out (Spinner, La Brava), and just having a lifelong tendency to empathize with and gravitate towards outcasts might just give him reasons to get frustrated and lash out at injustice still, even after his trauma was properly handled.

(Perhaps it’ll turn out that AFO gave Tenko the Decay quirk. How evil! We can thus blame everything on AFO and not have to examine the fact that, hey, regardless of how the quirk manifested, it exists and will affect the user’s life largely due to public perceptions of them and their quirk and whether they manage to behave in a way acceptable and in line with how people think someone with such a quirk should behave.)

It's true that sometimes, all it takes is the influence of one person, of a single act of kindness to change things. A single Hero to reach out and save someone in need. But is that not already the status quo in the story? We've got hundreds of Heroes patrolling the streets, ready to save someone; hundreds more students about to join them. We got one super-superman who spent 40 years pushing himself to his limits trying to be everywhere. All these individuals, all these acts of rescues, and still people had fallen through the cracks - which was also where the kindness stops.

What the story suggests is that Heroes should also reach through the cracks and help the fallen. That's a good start! Know what would be better? Fixing the cracks. Especially when those cracks aren't things Heroes can actually do anything about because it’s domestic violence behind closed doors, it’s gradual dehumanization through public and cultural institutions, it’s bigots beating children with shovels using no quirks and the excuse of generations-long communal superstition, it’s a system officially labeling people as Villain/Enemy like they're cartoony evil comic book antagonists to defeat instead of real people.

You might say, it’s obvious those things will be fixed! After the war. It’ll be dealt with! By a single panel in the epilogue. Yeah, fair enough. That’s also just bad writing. The conflict should be resolved within the story, the promise of change should be seen, not just vaguely told to us. I can't trust it.

What the League went through - discrimination, abuse, quirk counseling, marginalization, lack of social support, etc. - was injustice. If the new system that arises after this war - the one that will be led by Deku and his generation - does nothing or barely anything about these things, I cannot trust that the League going into this new system will be given true justice that take into account the crimes committed by them, but also the crimes committed by the people around them towards them and the failures created by the very structure of society.

I’m being very hard on the Heroes, I know, I’m expecting a lot out of them beyond just ‘saving hearts’. But canonically, Heroes are government-funded civil servants, and the Hero System is an important branch of the governance of this society. The responsibility - to all people - is theirs. If they cannot do this, then Heroes as they are should not exist; something different has to be implemented.

Shigaraki started this war against the world because it rejected him and his friends, it denied them a future where they could flourish as themselves. If the world changes, then he has a place to be. If the world does not change, then having him take a place in it is just forcing him to conform and keep enduring the same old injustices.

(But with a Hero friend this time. 🙂 Who shows him how cool Heroes are and teaches him to support the system again. 🙂 Who’s No. 1 in the rankings because competition and popularity has been kept… but it’s gentler or something now. 🙂 And who visits him in Tartarus 2.0, which is largely the same, complete with guns pointed at Shigaraki, just in case he ever uses his quirk because with that power he’s still too dangerous to take chances... but which is no longer staffed by wardens who call their charges ‘beasts in human skin’. 🙂)

The current trajectory of the story does not inspire me that things will change much. Kids wanna graduate from UA - so we gotta keep those Hero Schools! Business class students are filming everything for post-war propaganda! Gotta show how amazing and necessary Heroes are and continue their celebrity status! Wasn’t All Might so cool when he got into a mecha suit to beat up AFO and the whole world prayed for him? Gotta cement Heroism and belief in their righteousness into the collective consciousness and the dreams of humanity!

So I really want Shigaraki and the League to get to just run off and sentence themselves to what they think is appropriate penance. And if that’s sipping piña coladas on a beach somewhere, that’s what it is.

I apologize if I sounded harsh, anon! It’s not directed at you. My rant is just some of my frustrations with how the story has been progressing, and how either of those theories you’ve seen - imprisonment (likely in Tartarus 2.0) or being assimilated into the (same flawed) system - are lacking, in my opinion. My hopes for the ending are neither of those.

But my hopes are different from what I think is likely to happen. I actually think the opposite of what you think, anon: Imprisonment is more likely. I cannot see people in-universe and out (readers) accepting Shigaraki Tomura being adopted by All Might and becoming a Pro-Hero - it feels unrealistic for the civilian masses of a world that’s canonically wary of Shouto for being related to Dabi, a system that blames Aoyama for being a scared kid and request him to take responsibility for the cowardice of his parents, a moral lesson that says how heteromorphs react to brutal discrimination determines whether they should be listened to or not (and whether their children will be reasonably targeted in revenge); and too at odds with the sensibilities of most readers who are generally much less sympathetic towards the Villains than you and I am (and probably do want to keep the flashy Hero System. But make it ‘nicer’).

I’ve been browsing through Japanese message boards and the general theories I’ve seen actually include the possibility of death for Shigaraki - but it’ll be suicide, as penance for his crimes; or some convenient manner of dying that won’t dirty up Deku’s hands. Deku can offer him salvation for his heart and soul, but cannot forgive him and let him go unpunished. Shigaraki committed too much damage, too big a crime, and is too dangerous a person to be left alive. If he does survive, he should be imprisoned in Tartarus 2.0 for the rest of his life, and he can correctly show his remorse and rehabilitation by obediently following that sentence.

For a story that wants Shigaraki to be saved, to befriend Deku, to lose his anger and resentment and find hope in the future enough to assimilate back into a continuing Hero Society, I think the logical end result would be Shigaraki serving life sentence in Tartarus 2.0. maybe getting parole for good behavior when he’s 50 and not as sprightly enough to be as deadly a threat.

Mostly, though, I try not to predict the ending, beyond a small vague hope of Ultimate Karma Houdini I keep at the very back of my mind. Save myself from any disappointment! I remain in the present and accept chapters as they come.

Shaz i Just realized something today. Pple really need to start taking you more seriously when u say certain things. I remember months ago, you mentioned a few times that you know Jk would very much like to go Live with Jimin but maybe Jimin is the one who doesn’t want to. I remember saying to myself “nah Shaz is probably talking outta her ass and being very taekookerish rn” lol. But u were vindicated cuz we came to find out that Jk does indeed want to do a live with Jimin but Jimin is playing hard to get. I also remember you talking about how Jk hates the vermin but I personally had not seen any reason to believe he hated them cuz he still hung out with Tae and stuff but i guess these last few months or weeks have proved you right again because the whole world can clearly see that Jk has a problem with those pple. Let’s start with him looking almost disgusted at the mere thought of living with Tae, or how visibly uncomfortable he looked when he kept getting questioned about Tae on that Live, and also how everytime he does stuff for Jimin, the cult start manifesting he does the same for Tae and he just doesn’t. And now after liking that Jin video from a tk page, he went ahead to (probably) delete the comment prolly cus his algorithm got messed up with tk stuff. My point is, I won’t be completely closed minded to certain theories u come up with cuz u’ve actually been proven right quite a few times. Cuz who would hv thought we would see an almost desperate Jk insisting for Jimin to let him come over and do a live? I never thought i’d live to see a day like that lol.

Let’s be honest, pple wanna be like shippers this shippers that, but the truth is, Jk has never shown any discomfort at pple thinking he is fucking Jimin. Not even once, hell he is the only one feeding us jokers now cuz Jimin aint giving us shit to eat. Without Jk alot of us might have thought they broke up and gone about our lives but everyone can see clearly that Jk is the one still keeping us grounded in our Jikook belief. He does all these but doesn’t care to feed tkkrs at all. The only thing he does which feeds them is basically hanging out with his friend Tae. That’s literally it! He doesn’t go out of his way to do anything that might feed the vermin and that is why now, they are claiming Jk is Tae’s washing machine and Tae is Jk’s refrigerator lmaoo. That is why now they are getting hit tweets by claiming that old sounding hacking and coughing we heard from Tae’s live was Jk lmaoo. How I'm I supposed to take this ask?

I have said this a milli times; i go by history. My theories and conclusions depend on history. Has JK done this before? Have Jikook behaved like this before? The number one reason why Jikook stand out to alot of people is CONSISTENCY. This is why people like me who are convinced they're together believe this to be the truth. Because they are sooooo fucking consistent. Yeah after year after year they act the same, they are the same. Their behaviour towards eo has remained the same.

So no, I'm not all knowing or a Jikook professional but I am quite good at remembering useless things that will not help me IRL in any way shape or form. I will have dated my fiance for 4 years in October and I still mistake his year of birth. Thats right, I keep forgetting my fiancé's year of birth. But I know that when Jimin had his foot on JK's crotch, that took place in Bon Voyage season 1 episode 6, but we only see it in episode 8 the finale at 38 minutes in.

JK has been debunking tkkrs for years. Its not new. He genuinely does not like them. We know this because he goes above and beyond to correct anything that may be construed as him and V being a couple. But u will never catch him doing this for Jimin/ to Jikookers. And yes, this is fact.

We don't get debunked, we get fed.

I've consumed enough BTS content to see it happen so me drawing to this conclusion stems from HISTORY. (And talking with a bunch of great friends who love to analyse) All year we had seen JK be defiant and go against the company and be unapologetic about it. While we had Jimin telling him to stop drinking on live, making fun of JK for singing unholy (a sexual song) on live. So it only made sense to conclude Jimin was the hesitant one. Not JK. Jungkook aint scared to blow shit up but his boyfriend sure is.

If you work with the belief that Jimin and JK are a couple, all that's left is to observe. And u will come to the same conclusions that i (and my pals) do.

When Jikookers make delulu theories I believe we are allowed to. Because Jikook is real and because of this, we are most likely correct. Jikook have done some crazy shit over the years, u can't blame us for coming up with some crazy theories.
