When either Suletta or Miorine get fridged, I hope you realize how stupid you were for swallowing up obvious queerbaiting.

So. This was sent to me right around the time the season 1 finale of G_Witch aired, sometime in early January. And I held onto it this entire time because shit, if anything it made me put my faith even further into this show.

I assume this isn't a mutual or a follower. Whoever it is they were too cowardly to put their name to it. Whoever wrote it, I feel bad for. Because they're no reason to come into a stranger's space and write something like this, unless you get joy from making others miserable, or you are miserable and want others to join you in that misery, or seeing someone enjoying things makes you angry.

Whichever one it is, that points to a person with very little real joy in their life, and I hope they can find something that makes them genuinely happy that isn't destructive.

I doubt any of us are perfect when it comes to the kind of energy we put out into the world and onto the internet. I know I'm not. I've worked on trying to be better about it, but even now I know that I slip up from time to time.

But one thing I truly believe, even if I sometimes struggle to remember it, is that your life is much better when you're focusing on the things that bring you joy.

At times, it feels like the internet is designed to reward hate and negativity, and maybe it is. But that's miserable. We all spend so much time being miserable on here, when we could have so much fun if we put that effort into the things that make us happy.

So, I am going to try to continue putting my love and energy into things that I love, and ignore the things that I don't and just let the people that do like those things be happy. I'm going to fail sometimes, but I'm going to keep trying. And I hope you all will too.

And to the person that wrote this Ask, I hope you find something that gives you as much joy and happiness as G_Witch and these funky little space-wives have given me.

You guys ever think about how Sabo still held onto the like symbol of his family? The one he showed to the Ramen place so he and his brothers could get in a private room. And the same symbol that’s proudly postered on his belt buckle? I don’t mean to bully him but it seems kinda stupid to me that he was trying to avoid his family but wore their symbol for proudly…unless.

I’m not saying he wanted to be torn away from his brothers and ripped from the place he really considered home. But you gotta remember, Sabo and Ace had been building that treasure for five years. SINCE THEY WERE FIVE. Sabo was five years old when he ran away from home because he didn’t feel loved. That he didn’t feel seen.

Do you think he had hoped that they would form a search party and look for him back then? That they would see the symbol on his belt and scoop him up and tell him they were so worried and they missed him so much. That they actually did love him. Do you think it hurt at first when they didn’t. When he was just… alone. Having to learn by himself how to survive in the grey terminal by himself at the ripe age of FIVE YEARS OLD

Imagine how much more it would have hurt to see Stelly five years later. To know an act that he had originally hoped would finally get him the love he dreamed of. Got him replaced…

Because I think about that.

My grandparents wanted help with this notification about the old Windows Mail App being replaced in 2024 by the new version of Outlook.

So I had a look at this new Outlook, and the enshittification is driving me mad.

Remember junk mail? That thing that you mostly don't have to worry about because we developed systems to automatically send it to the junk folder?

Well how about if we bring it back by putting an advert at the top of your emails that looks just like an un-read email, aside from the tiny [ad] box, that will never go away!

Never go away, unless you pay us for our *premium* service, by which we mean the bare minimum service one would normally expect from an email provider, but slightly less shitty!

My grandma has memory problems, these advertising emails are going to stress her out, thinking she's forgotten to read something constantly, or thinking she had accidentally signed up to something she didn't want to.

The change to a new user interface is hard enough, but it's absolutely despicable, inaccessible, and downright predatory to prey on vulnerable people with mental health issues who now have a bearable experience reading emails held to ransome!
