Several of the Atlas delegation glared at the Mistral councilmember in utter disgust at this. Whatever else he was, Tip was eleven years old. It had been discussed and gone over time after time, they had to realise by now that the only way the kid would have left the others behind was if he was forced to? From the story, told and confirmed by several witnesses, he'd frozen, trying in vain to catch the others as they fell. The only reason he'd even got to Vacuo at all was because Nora Valkyre, on Jaune Arc's panicked command, had snatched the boy up boldily as she'd sprinted through the portal. For a man so desperate to focus on Jaune Arc's heroism, his final act seemed awfully easy to gloss over.

Couldn't they see, any of them, just how this was affecting the boy? Winter Schnee was one of theirs, after all. The fact he was also the wizard was fractionally terrifying, but surely he'd given enough proof by now?

Tip's eyes lowered, pain filled and regretful, even as small arcs of green crackled around his hands. With a swallow, he reigned in the magic but, at that moment, he could have obliterated half the combined council and felt almost justified. He hated killing, though. Human lives were valuable, faunus lives were valuable. Each and every one of them had so much potential and he had to admit, yes, he very much loved them all.

Why was it so hard, then? To hear them scream at him over team RWBY and Jaune? He was aware... had told them, in fact... that they might still be alive. He knew Weiss was, and all of them had fallen the same way. Vanished the same way. But... there was no proof. Weiss was his niece! Ruby and Yang's were Qrow's... how could they think he'd be so unfeeling as not to grieve them? But no. These meetings had been happening constantly for almost three days now. He was very fed up of being screamed at.

"What exactly was I supposed to do? Nora literally picked me up and carried me through the portal, or I would have fallen with them. Maybe I should have fallen with them."

He sounded miserable enough that Lark Winchester, Cardin's father and Hawke Winchester's son, spoke up in his defence. "Hey, Winter? Take a break. Nothing is happening here that really needs you right now." He glared around at the rest of the council, as Tip nodded and made his escape, unable to stop the tears rolling down his face.

He fled through the corridors to the relative safety of the room he and Oscar shared. The door opened to Oscar, Ren and Nora, who seemed to be playing some sort of card game. Oscar's eyes narrowed and Nora let out a feral snarl at the sight of Tip, in tears, running almost blindly. Oscar caught him up in a hug, chin tucked into the silvery hair, eyes fierce. Nora and Ren just glanced at each other, eyes strangely hard.

"Stay with your brother, okay, pocketsized? We'll deal with this."

Tip, in his distress, blurred in Oscar's arms and Oscar suddenly found himself with a hawk chick in his lap. Tip couldn't cry like that, but he leaned into Oscar's touch as he stroked the soft, downy feathers, providing as much comfort as he could. He'd never seen his little brother in the sort of state that he'd transform like that, but he'd heard enough from Qrow to know that sometimes instincts just took over. Taking off his jacket, he draped it over his temporarily avian brother, still stroking him, murmuring nonsense.

Sometimes, it was good, being the older brother for once. Tip was so confident, so competent normally that it was easy to lose track of the fact that he was just a little boy. Well, chick, right now, but...

Eventually, Nora and Ren returned. Nora's grin was feral, Ren looking darkly satisfied. Nora's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the chick in Oscar's lap, nestled into his coat like it never wanted to leave and grinned brightly.

"Aww, he's so CUTE!" But though she gushed she didn't reach to touch him. All of them had had to grow up much too fast in the last few weeks to let herself be that needy. She grinned at the brothers as the baby bird that was Tip tucked his head under one wing and went to sleep. She almost wanted to record this, but after the losses they'd all suffered, they needed this moment. She resolved not to tease Oz too much when he woke up, either. Seeing him in tears had infuriated her. Tip was meant to be the calming presence, not whatever it was the council had reduced him to.

At least she had put the fear of Nora into them?

Asking since i've spent the past hour or so schooling through your blog, I have to ask something that's been bugging me.

What's the difference between class 1 to class 4? Like what would you have to do to get class 1-4?

Also how are the different classes treated? We know how 3-4's are treated but you've never covered class 1 or class 2 yet.

I'm really really happy satisfying your curious souls although this question got me thinking long and hard😅

There are official reasons and EESU Penal Code articles listed as class 1-4 political crimes and there's loads of actual reasons these articles can be applied for. There are laws and regulations to protect rehabilitating class 1-3 convicts on equal terms yet lots of limitations and mistreatment depending on the class status. It would be too long of a list to write every detail of the offender class system so I'll try to explain your main points!

Class 1 offences:

Non-reporting of class 2-3 crimes and/or concealing the offenders

Contribution to class 2 crimes

Private spread of demoralizing rumors and undocumented news

Evasion of the citizens' basic political duties

Evasion of residency registration/unregistered living

Illegal region border crossing (added in April 1960)

Class 2 offences:

Non-reporting of class 4 political crimes and/or concealing the offenders

Contribution to class 3 crimes

Private verbal anti-socialist agitation or propaganda

Personal acts of economical sabotage

Unregistered foreign property possession

Unregistered media broadcasting device possession

Display of moral contribution for the enemy states or regimes

Leaking or disclosure of confidential information

Illegal country border crossing to an ally state

Class 3 offences:

Contribution to class 4 crimes

Anti-socialist propaganda material possession, private supply or production with an intent of such

Personal acts of verbal anti-socialist agitation or propaganda in public

Deliberate use of media broadcasting devices for anti-socialist agitation or propaganda purposes

Possession of foreign property with anti-socialist purposes

Organized acts of economical sabotage

Personal acts of political sabotage

Display of material contribution for the enemy states or regimes

Contacts with foreigners in political purposes

This is a list of class offences without any aggravating circumstances. Repeat offence, multiple offences, ranks or positions, social situation, martial law - and any of these offences could lead to a lower class with more severe penalty measures. I'm not even touching promotions and demotions after arrest - that's for later😄

These articles have been made that way so at least one of them could be applied to anyone the EESU government doesn't like. If I'd decide to write every action that can result in a political conviction, they wouldn't even fit into a single post. Don't worry tho - there'll be more art and info on it in the future!

How are the different classes treated? If I were to explain for short, class 1 - politically illiterate/irresponsible citizens learning from their mistakes; class 2 - common (political) offenders or ex-offenders; class 3 - third second-class citizens; class 4 - nonpersons.

Little Christmas

I'm back on my bull shit guys! I'm planning on posting every Thursday until Christmas. So it'll have roughly four chapters.

The United Nations was very important to Waknada in the gand scheme of everything. Wether M’baku and Shuri would beg to differ. Since their most important sercet was out to the world. It was very important to play nice with other nations. Even though said nations would like nothing more to invad Wakanda. 

To  Shuri didn’t like politics, especially geopolitics. Not only it was messy butt making alliances with countries that would have no problem changing their sides at the slightest inconvenience.  But she’ll do her part to “play nice” with the other nations. It just so happen that the United Nations was having its annual Christmas gala. It just so happen the gala was in New York, not close to Boston but close enough to her love than ever before. The gala was the only question Shuri was worried about if Riri would go to it. If the woman did say no, would it be the end of the world? 

No, but to Shuri she would rather watch paint dry while listening to poiltics officals talk about their grandchildern. 

Shuri would be lying saying that she wasn’t scared to ask her love if she wanted to come to the gala. Shuri and Riri have only been dating for a short while, and aren’t going to the gala are more like one year into a relationship status. But their whole relationship has been anything but normal or fast. Sometimes Shuri feels slightly guilty that she doesn't give her girlfriend enough time and attention. But Riri, bless her heart never complained as if she already understood their relationship before Shuri did. That her people will and always come first. It was a blessing and a curse to be a part of the royal family.

Change is on the horizon. We were still ordering off of the kids menu in the midst of a global dine-n-dash scheme that left us holding the bill whilst too young to comprehend what was happening.

Pockets were lined to ensure their supremacy into the foreseeable future. The fattest pigs have been guaranteed their meals. Meanwhile, the working class will continue to incur the debt and interest. The luxuries of the well-to-do are still made possible by cash advances on the forgotten millennial generation’s aspirations. It used to be that imperialists would utilize conquest to cover their asses. However, as conquest becomes more difficult with the world watching online... They’ve resorted to squeezing domestically.

It appears that all parties are complicit in these actions and yet they polarize us as if it’s a simple ‘us vs them’ fix.... and while we continue to pick at each other over a few differences, they continue to make backroom deals and it’s business as usual. The real change will come when we realize that we all have far more in common than these differences that are being shoved down our throats. Only when we reach this point, will we be an overwhelming voice to be heard. We will always have our differences and those should be celebrated. However, if we look past what makes us different and focus more on creating a governing body that puts what we all have in common first... It will improve the lives of everyone. That sounds ideal, right? It does, but nothing simple can just be simple.

Term Limits. Break up huge monopolies. Get the money out of politics. Focus on the work being done and not the people doing it. Focus on content instead of a talking head looking to climb the media ladder.  We need a selfless generation that’s not concerned with popularity. We need a generation willing to plant a tree so that the future generations will have shade. We need long-term guidance and multi-generational planning. It can all be fixed. That being said, it can also fall apart. 

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are great... There’s no fucking around there. However, I also think that the majority of people are looking for a sense of purpose and I believe that’s been eroded. It used to be that if you worked hard, you could get somewhere and when you were no longer able to work hard... You were taken care of. We don’t have any of that now. There’s no guarantees and no one looking out for anyone. I was taught when I was young to not even worry about social security because it wouldn’t be there. They were right. The funds were misappropriated and the people that did the misappropriating have told us it’s our faults. Bullshit.

i got an add on youtube for "politically incorrect history" and it was talking about how hariet tubman would give drugs to babies (to keep them quiet while on the run) and threaten other escapees to keep them from turning back and risking the whole group getting caught and it presented it as a "gotcha! she wasnt as great as everyone thinks she is! look at who the liberals are teaching our kids about!"
