I have to know how Caleb’s experience babysitting Tim, Dick, and Jason went. Since he shows up in the most recent part we can assume he survived (and/or one of them took his phone). Did the kids have fun? Was anything set on fire? Does Caleb have any lasting injuries? Will Caleb ever babysit again?

So, I saw a tweet in passing a few days ago, draw your Oc's pre trauma and post trauma with the " Despite Everything, it's still you."

But since none of my OCs have trauma, really. Decided to try with Caleb and how I have written him in AYCF so we have him at the start of the fic, and the final one is him right after chapter 19... poor boy is not okay, and it's getting harder for him to claim he is "fine"

WOLLEMI DAY 5- CAUGHT

CW: Young whumpee, Themes of captivity, a lil bit of manipulation, pet whump, failed escape attempt, future punishment mention, uhm dominant, creepy asf whumper, andd a pinch of trauma, alcohol consumption

The air was thick with laughter, clinking glasses, and the pulsating beats of music. The party’s that Dominic kept were extraordinary, only the kinds that the elite of the country got to experience. Guess, Caleb should consider himself lucky then… Dominic had made it clear that he absolutely needed him to be there to introduce his sweet pet to his friends. 

Caleb had thought about it a lot, Maybe.. Maybe someone there would see and help him! No, No.. Dominic’s friends would be no different from him. Maybe even worse…  He shuddered. He had been planning an escape for so, so long since the last time he failed. But this time there would be no failing. He knew he wouldn’t be able to handle the torture that Dominic would have in store for him. Caleb knew that there was no way he could actually run from Dominic. He had learnt it the first time.. But he needed something, something that could make him feel that he wasn’t going brain-dead under his captor and still have some defiance under him.

As the night wore on and the alcohol flowed freely, Caleb's attention turned increasingly towards Dominic. He wanted to show him off, to display his dominance and control to his friends. It was a sick game, one where Caleb was merely a pawn. He was there kneeling at Dominic’s side like a good little kitten that he was.

He noticed how Dominic was slowly starting to slur his words, how he squinted his eyes slightly to see properly and how his leg bounced up and down. He waited for a while before Dominic finally excused himself to go the washroom telling Caleb to be a good pet and stay though his speech was incoherent. Caleb looked at Dominic’s friends, all of them were busy talking with each other or just drinking. 

He finally saw an opening until he suddenly got up and bolted outside trying to find the front door, his heart pumping with adrenaline. He heard a familiar “Caleb!!” behind him though that just made him run faster desperate to get away. As soon as his hand opened the front door two figures entered blinking at him before grinning. He freezed momentarily as the realization sank in. He was pulled by his armpits by either one of them with a tight hold on him as they dragged him back to his tormentor. Caleb didn’t even try to fight, he just looked down not able to believe it. He had been so close. So close.. Then.. why..? He knew the plan was childish. That he would never be able to get away from his fate. But.. he had this small hope in him that maybe. Maybe it would work it somehow.. “Hope. It’s a child’s play.”  Dominic had once told him. The two men threw him on the floor infront of Dominic. 

“Take better care of your toy, Sinclair” Dominic didn’t even pay attention to what they said, simply swatting them away and walking towards his traumatized kitten and forcing his jaw up to look him in the eye. Oh how he loved when the spark in their eye goes away.

“Trying to slip away. Were we? Well we’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen again right” He said somehow seeming completely sober now… Maybe he shouldn’t have tried running away..

After Caleb defeated his version of the devil’s curse, he turned back to normal, however, he didn’t return to his friends or back home… he just… ran away, as far away as possible due to maximum damage he did to the others. Caleb suffered the consequences, knowing that mother Miranda was severely disappointed about Caleb’s uncontrollable behavior of the curse…..

Today, Caleb is nowhere to be found and will not return home until he learns how to control, but mother Miranda has other plans to help Caleb and get his blessings as soon as possible, even though, she’s forbidden to help demons…..

For sure, Stella wasn’t happy either, feeling depressed that he’s not coming home, neither the future clovers!

Caleb is depressed, misses his friends, family and home but he promised himself to learn self control and think of the good memories if he succeeds and pass the test….

Hi! I was wondering if I could request a Caleb Widogast x reader where the reader likes to braid his hair as it gets longer? Like before they go to sleep or after battles, reader likes to sit down and just brain his hair as a way to calm down?

Awww! Anything for the beautifully somber, sarcastic wizard that I adore!

It was not something Caleb was used to but he wasn’t one to complain much about it. The routine became one of those staples in his dynamic with you.

He never paid much attention to himself until you started playing with his hair. Caleb recalled how he initially flinched before when you reached to him, but when he saw that you were offering the simplest comfort instead, he relented.

It was a small luxury that you afforded him, no matter how you made time for it. With your soft humming of songs from your homeland and the occasional mundane “how are you?”, Caleb felt some peace at last.

Or did he really deserve it? As you weaved and braided his fiery hair, did your mind wander to when you knew his story? Was this a ploy to bring false security or were all your actions, prompted or not, your genuine feelings?

He dared to ask, but he couldn’t bring himself to. The cost of potentially losing you too much.

...Caleb closed the journal and stood up. He could feel his entire body quivering, his muscles tense, and his breathing growing erratic and labored. It had been several since he last experienced this sensation. The words he had just read echoed relentlessly in his mind, mingling with Philip's calm and collected yet joyful voice, echoing those haunting words...

“Mr. Mansell was found to be working with the devil… Silly Caleb, you can be so blind sometimes… He was feeding you lies about me... I'm only trying to protect you…"

The words soon turned into images, blurry images at first… then all at once, his mind was thrust into a torturous replay of that horrifying event...

That's all you get from Chapter 17. I wasn't going to share this bit, but I re-read it and was like, know what, you all get to as well, but not the full thing ~
