╰┈➤ 1/100 days of productivity 💌

First day of this new adventure! So excited to begin.

My deadline for the application at the Academy of Fine Arts is September 15th, and I have to submit a motivational letter and a portfolio showcasing my best works and abilities, so I really need to work on some brand new projects today and the thing I'm enjoying the most right now is making posters!

I also need to plan my week in advance to stay organised and be productive, so I'm setting up my tasks on Google Calendar since I'm rediscovering it haha

Here's my to-do list for today and what I've accomplished so far:

Write a motivational letter for my application at the Academy of Fine Arts

Plan my entire week (wip)

Design a poster

Clean my desk

Draft my future posts (yay)

I'm still here! Just working on my portfolio

I've been busy with portfolio stuff and I haven't been able to work on anything revolving around self-indulgent art.

I also have artist block so I'm working through that by drawing random little dudes in bright ass colors, I will post them soon.

Lastly, I am working on a thing, not illustration-related, and I hope I can share it sometime in the near future??? It depends on what my friends say because they're going to be helping me out with it. Also, it's Frieza-inspired. Which is a little bit of a pain because I have to look up different kinds of businesses like Real Estate Speculators (GAGS), Tech giants, like FB (Gags louder), and some other 1% income-making family businesses that make me what to vomit.

So that's where I'm at.

I will post my little dudes sometime this weeeeeek???

The Purchase College Summer Youth & Precollege Programs in the Arts are much more than camps! Students rising 7 - 9 graders (youth) and 9-12 graders (precollege) work with practicing artists and educators in the studios, stages, and classrooms of Purchase College.

They develop new skills, friendships, confidence, and enjoyment of the visual arts, performing arts, and more. The student-instructor ratio is 10:1 or lower.

Programs in acting, voice, digital photography, visual arts, filmmaking, creative writing, songwriting and music production and journalism are offered. Session 1 begins July 1st. Early registration/additional sibling discounts available.

I’m so excited that I finally picked a topic for my portfolio!

I’m excited to start though, and have a short animation that I want to make in the future surrounding the characters that my portfolio will be about.

My portfolio is about Codependency, and people who aren’t toxic with it. It will follow two partners who live together and are both disabled, helping each other live.
