Oh dear! At this point it's more like plain forgot rather than lost interest. I wanted to do lengthier comic pages involving Geralt in one and Regis and the Queen of the Night in another, but I just haven't developed the skills to draw substantial comics yet, and I've been quite happy trying to get more proficient at drawing faces in the meantime and busy with other things too.

That reminds me, I do have a bunch of art/really short comic ideas jotted down somewhere, but I can't remember where exactly.

no but seriously arya stans who insist she’s going to become “qUEEN oF ThE NoRTH” are so fucking funny to me. i guess they’ve conveniently forgotten about bran, rickon and sansa because all of them come before her, so fuck them I guess? like, EVEN IF they miraculously get rid of male primogeniture, it still wouldn’t make sense because Sansa is older and would absolutely come first. you’re reading a political fantasy, does politics mean nothing to you? how does this debate even exist? arya is, objectively, the last in line and therefore least likely to inherit. how is she even in the running when it comes to northern succession when THREE of her siblings who have a better claim are still alive? do you expect her to randomly assassinate them all?

and that’s not even considering her arc and everything it means. arya has had the LEAST experience with politics and politicking from any of her siblings apart from rickon who is literally a baby. how is she magically going to become a queen or a councilor when the series does a great job exploring how difficult those roles are even for people who DO have the experience that arya lacks?

and more importantly (MOST importantly) her journey in book 2 is littered with the theme of how kings clash and the smallfolk bleed. the true cost of war, the true meaning of justice. arya is still highborn and will retain that privilege no matter how sympathetic or understanding she is, and that shouldn’t be forgotten, but the idea that she’ll end her arc operating from the top of the system, or even from directly inside the system, is baffling to me. why do you want this for her or think this is a likely possibility for her? i thought you cared about her character?

#not tagging this anything (yet - i'll add the appropriate tags after a week) because i don't want to be hunted #people who want sansa to be qotn can overlook some things and get annoying at times but there IS solid foundation for the theory #but arya stans who want the same are on a whole different level of ridiculousness. what? how? why SHE'S LITERALLY LAST IN LINE #anyway i hope nobody sees this #mine

'QOTN Sansa. The dress was made in the same fabric as the dark Sansa dress, which was the same fabric dyed that was used in Margaey’s wedding dress to Joffrey.. Sansa had a bond with her. It has falling leaves as its pattern. There is a feathered and embroidered dire wolf across her shoulder and not seen here but beautiful red beaded leaves falling from one sleeve. The sleeves are textured like the fur on the first sigil. The metal bodice features the growing branches of the weirwood tree. The Crown is two howling Dire wolves. I've really enjoyed your discussions on Arya, Bran and Jon and was wondering what are your realistic endgame predictions concerning Sansa's story. Out of all the Starks, she's the one I'm struggling with because I do believe Harry dies and with it any hopes of being Lady of the Vale. Nor do I believe she'll be QoTN. I'm not sure where her story is leading up.

I don't think Harry the Heir will die. I do think SweetRobin is not surviving LF's plotting and machination and poor Coleman is going to get framed for his death à la Marillion.

I think Sansa's plot in the next two books will be centered around gradually understanding and unraveling LF’s plotting and gaining power in the Vale. While Arya has parallels with Lyanna, Sansa has parallels with Lysa Arryn in terms of their traits and journeys. And yet this time around Arya and Sansa may have happier endings and do things differently in their journeys. So while poor, unhappy Lysa got taken advantage of by Littlefinger and manipulated into her death, Sansa will gradually acknowledge that LF’s ambitions are selfish and that he is mainly responsible for what happened to her family. She will then learn from him, get her hands dirty and outwit him at his own game slowly shifting what power LF has from him to her.

There’s also a chance that we will get LF Vs Varys in which case yes, Sansa’s plot may intersect with Young Griff’s in some way. Though I don’t see Sansa ever going south to KL as long as Cersei is in power, if she wants to get marriage to Tyrion annulled she needs to request for one from the High Septon as Sansa Stark.

It’s clear from the OG outline that GRRM did not have much planned for the character. She was created as Arya’s foil, betrays her family in KL and then is most probably killed by Jaime on his way to the Iron Throne. Now, her story has no doubt expanded and grown as GRRM has watered and gardened a separate side plot for her in the Vale. Littlefinger is an important human antagonist, the fertile Vale is an important location and Sansa is the only POV there. The more Sansa learns, the more we get to see into what LF is actually trying to do.

I see her ending in the Vale. Either she could still die taking down LF or she will be Lady of the Vale and the true power behind the Lord of the Vale. The Vale food stores have been mentioned way too many times for it to not be important as Winter slowly descends all over Westeros. Sansa will need to control those food stores at some point as the masses flee the North and head south.

I don’t see her going North because that would make her a tertiary character. Sure, it would be a happy ending for Sansa to finally go back home to Winterfell. However, what would she do in the North in terms of story? Jon, Arya and Bran have got both the political and the magical covered and the OG outline only refers to the three of them in the North. As a character Sansa simply has more to do and contribute in the Vale than she does in the North.
