nia meeting mythra & rex's child

pairing: nia x gn!reader

as a soldier in aionios, the concept of mother and father are foreign to you

so trying to explain to you that nia is your stepmother would be even harder to explain, especially in nia's case

when nia met you, she immediately recognized you, as well as mio, who you are traveling with, alongside the other ouroboros

you look older now, but there's no denying that you're mythra's kid! 

nia doesn't mention that she knows you, nor does she mention that she knows mio! 

but she makes an effort to spend time with the two of you and tell you about aionios and the worlds before it

she especially mentions a driver named rex a lot, as well as his blades pyra and mythra, yet never actually tells you that mythra is your mother

nia wants you to know about your mother, but she doesn't want to overwhelm you with information either

despite you not remembering your family, it still seemed like you had managed to find and befriend your sister, mio, which made nia quite happy to see

she won't be able to be there for the two of you like she used to, but at least nia knows that the two of you will take care of each other!

Clan Building // royalty

the king/queen and the royal family were at the very top of azgeda everyone knew them and feared them. the royal guard were right below them but still the most respected warriors in azgeda. while azgeda leadership is undoubtedly a dictatorship the king or queen do take their people’s opinions into consideration, inside the throne room, there is a large rectangular fire pit in the middle of the room. at the end of the fire pit stands a throne reserved of course for the king/queen. smaller chairs are set along the sides of the fire pit, these are for ambassadors, advisors and war chiefs.

becoming king/queen in azgeda culture takes more than being the eldest child, all the current rulers children have an equal chance to take the throne after their parents death. royal children are raised similar to how nightbloods are raised, (this is why roan was able to fight as well as he did against lexa and luna.) when the current ruler dies their children are put in a conclave together, winner takes the throne. rulers are expected to have many children leaving the best possible warrior to take over azgeda.

summary: nia scolds you while tending to your injuries

"how could you be so reckless!?"

nia sighed annoyed, as she carefully tended your wounds. you had gotten into yet another fight with moebius. nia knew that you only did it to protect her, but if it was at the cost of you getting hurt, then she didn't want this! 

"you can't just take on two moebius at once, especially not N and M! have i not told you time and time again how dangerous they are? but no, of course you had to rush head first into a fight and get your ass kicked… you know, i shouldn't even be healing you right now, after that stunt you pulled! maybe that would teach you a lesson…"

nia kept rambling and despite threatening to leave your wounds the way they were, she kept healing you. just because she was upset with you didn't mean she'd let you get hurt. 

"look at that, you've gotten hurt at the same spot you did last time. if you keep this up, you'll mess up your arm so much that even i can't help you anymore. and you won't be able to protect anyone with an injury like that. then i'll have to be the one taking care of you…"

nia's eyes never once left your wounds, making sure she healed them properly. meanwhile your eyes were glued to her, admiring the queen of agnus and how cute she looked while she got angry with you. 

"really, y/n, you gotta stop being so reckless. i don't want you to get hurt everytime you leave the castle. and i don't want to worry about you whenever you leave, wondering if you're even coming back to me this time… it's hard for me to see you leave every time. i don't want to lose you, you idiot. but everytime you leave, i feel like i do! it breaks my heart to see you like this…"

suddenly, nia felt tears roll down her cheeks, ones that she hadn't even noticed had filled up her eyes. you carefully wiped them away and  caressed her cheek, making nia look at you. 

"i'm sorry. i promise you, i'll be more careful. i didn't know you cared so much about me…"

nia's cheeks turned red in an instance and she quickly turned away, wiping the remaining tears away. 

"w-well, i… i wouldn't say i care that much or anything… just a normal amount of caring! nothing to be surprised about, y/n!"

you laughed as you watched your girlfriend getting flustered over how much she cared about you. despite nia trying to hide it, she loved you a lot and was just a big softie…

Right now, Niles and Corrin’s daughter Nina also joins them, “Did I come too late? Luigi mentioned you are having ice cream party, I want cookie and cream!”

Both four adult realize: let that child in different type of “family” being happiness, be protected and beloved is the most important point. “Sorry, cookie and cream are out. How about rocky road?” “Ah thanks, Samus.”
