Pairing: Bucky x reader

Word Count: 571

Summary: Just a soft and lovely day spent at the beach with Bucky

Author’s Note: This is for the HBC’s @the-ss-horniest-book-club birthday week celebration and Soft Seb Monday. I decided to do a little drabble that is super sweet and soft with Bucky because honestly, this is my dream come true. Hope it makes you smile. Thank you for reading and thank you for celebrating with us! PS...the moodboard got out of control because there are too many pics of Seb being soft that I love haha :) I LOVE YOU ALL❤❤❤

Warnings: Fluffy and sweet love, soft Bucky :) and my favorite place on Earth, the beach!

The sunlight reflected off the water, the gentle sway of the waves mesmerizing as you sat with your toes curled in the sand. The first drip of water was cool on your sun-soaked skin as you looked up to see Bucky standing over you, his hair still wet from your swim and eyes crinkled in a smile.

“Got you your favorite drink, doll.” He sits down next to you, his own feet digging under the sand as his toes wiggle. “Thanks baby,” you say before taking a sip and humming in appreciation. You sit together in silence watching the sandpiper’s race along the shoreline forever out of reach of the froth.

The breeze blows a strand of hair in front of your face and before you can move it Bucky’s metal hand reaches up to pull it away and tuck it behind your ear. You watch as the sun catches the metal plates of his arm making it glitter like a million diamonds across the ocean.

“What?” he asks, noticing your lopsided grin. You look up, the blue of his eyes taking your breath away as they rival the color of the water. “You’re so sparkly,” you whisper, completely lost in the moment. His answering smile is brighter than the sun and his laugh rings out over the vast expanse of the beach. “Sparkly, huh,” he teases, wrapping you in his arms and pulling you into his lap.

Your arms circle his neck, the sweet smell of his skin mixed with the sunblock intoxicating as you place soft kisses along his jaw. His eyes close as he dips his head to capture your lips in a sweet kiss. A large wave crashes against your legs, jolting you both back to reality.

“Eeeeeee,” you squeal as another large wave hits you again. Looking out over the water you see the large boat speeding away and laugh, “we need one of those.” Bucky stands, reaching his hand out to help you up, “we should definitely get one, doll.”

“Really?” you ask, jumping up and down in the sand. “Really!” Bucky replies, picking you up to twirl you around in the salt air. “Just imagine all the places we could go! We could get one big enough to sleep on and travel for a bit.” You continue rambling on excitedly, your hands flying around in wild gestures.

Bucky’s grinning from ear to ear, “I can’t wait, baby, it will be perfect.” Your eyes go wide as you grab his hand, pulling him down the beach, “WHAT ARE WE GONNA NAME OUR BOAT!?!” you screech. He throws his head back in laughter, “that is a good question! Any ideas?!”

“Hmmmm, well…maybe, um, I have too many ideas, we’ll have to think about it,” you giggle. “I love you,” he says, pulling you into his side as you slowly walk down the beach. “I love you too, Bucky.” He stops and bends down, picking up a shell from the sand and turning it over in his hand, “hey look, it’s one of those olive shells you love.”

“Oh good! It’s a perfect one too, we can add it to our shell jar.” He kisses the top of your head and places the shell in his bathing suit pocket. As the sun begins to set the two of you walk down the beach, your hand in Bucky’s as the pink and orange hues dance along the water.

HBC Bucky and Steve Saturday

Since it’s Steve’s birthday, @the-ss-horniest-book-club is celebrating Bucky’s best friend’s birthday! I decided on Stucky moodboards to celebrate 😊

This first one is Steve and Bucky celebrating both America’s birthday and Steve’s with their golden retriever. Their dog helps keep them grounded through the fireworks, and Bucky and Steve celebrate with sparklers and spending time on a lake.

This second one is a bit based on Like Real People Do by 2bestfriends, with Lumberjack Retired Steve and modern Bucky.

And now for a Phantom of the Opera AU, with Bucky as the Phantom and Steve as Raoul. Hopefully things turn out better for all then it did in the original!

Of course, I have to go the cowboy route! We all know I love the cowboy au, and Steve and Bucky would be great cowboys. If you like cowboy au as well, I started a series called Shield Ranch

And now for a Professor Bucky/biker Steve au! Professor Barnes enjoys his simple life, teaching at the local university. But then his routine is interrupted when he meets biker Steve at a bar on Friday night. Bucky had just been trying to relax, but when Steve got into a fight, Bucky couldn’t help but try and get Steve out of the fight. Of course, Steve could do this all day 😉

Then there’s Prince Bucky and stable hand Steve. Forbidden romance, castles, intrigue! Everything exciting, right?

Now for Daddy Bucky and truck stop hooker Steve. Bucky loves taking care of his boy, even when Steve is hesitant to let him.

Next is angel Steve and demon Bucky. While they know they shouldn’t even talk to each other, Bucky and Steve can’t help but fall in love

Little Mermaid au! With Bucky as Prince Eric and Steve as Ariel. These boys would fall in love even as they’re separated by different worlds.

Finally, a werewolf au. Bucky and Steve have been looking for their mutual mate, who just happens to be you!

1K Followers Celebration

Alright Everyone! I’ve finally came up with my 1K Celebration!

I want to support all the amazing talented Authors, Artists, ect.

So here’s how this will work.

If your interested please send me an ask saying you’d like to take part.

You have till July 1st to sign up!

Once I have everyone who has signed up, I will then assign you someone from the list. Your job is to either read a fic or a series of the person I’ve assigned you.

If they make content like moodboards or art then you look through their work.

Once you’ve done that you may choose from the following things to do:

Make a moodboard based off the fic or series you read

If the person I assigned you was just moodboards write a fic based off your favorite moodboard :)

Same with if the person is an Fan Art account.

You can also make videos or write something special for them.

I See Fire (Bucky Barnes x Alien!Reader)

Chapter 1

I See Fire Masterlist

Word Count: 1,737

A/N: Once again, I want to thank @sebastiansloserclub for making me this amazing moodboard for this fic! I still can’t get over it! Also, thank you to @thingsgetstrangereveryday for editing this chapter for me!!

The soldier ran as fast as his feet could carry him, the urgency of the message he had to deliver was placing the pressure on him. “His majesty!” The soldier called out, he feared that it wasn’t the proper etiquette for addressing the king, but he knew that the king would have some understanding once he heard the news. The king stopped mid-sentence in the discussion he was having with you to turn around to face the sound of the voice. Once the soldier had reached the king, he gave a bow to the both of you. “Your majesty,” He softly said. “Your royal highness.”

“What is it?” The king asked.

“I am sorry to interrupt, but I come with an urgent message from the general himself.”

You glanced over to your father, his eyes widen at the thought of an urgent message. “Go on,” you stated to the soldier.

He gave you a small nod before continuing. “It’s been reported that Sir Maur and his men have destroyed one of our support in the North, it’s also been reported that we only have four survivors from the North. One who has a message from Sir Maur himself.”

“A message?” The king questioned.

“Yes, your majesty.”

“What do you think this message could contain, father?” You asked.

Your father shook his head, his mind raced to a million things, but his brother’s mind was unpredictable. “Can you take us to him now?”

“Wait, you want me to come with you?” You asked as the soldier began to lead your father down the hall.

Your father stopped walking to turn to you, “Well, you are the future queen of Mynda, are you not?” You sighed at the thought. “This will be a learning experience for you, now come on.”

You began to follow your father and the soldier. “Are you saying that I too will have to face the army of one my brother’s jealousy fits?”

Your father chuckled. “Let’s hope not.”

“I would surely hope that your brother will be understanding with the position he has to take when you are crowned queen.”

“Yes, because he was definitely understanding when the news broke that I was to be the next in line to the throne,” you said sarcastically.

“It was a fair vote.”

“We were children.”

“You can see so much through children.”

“Yes, like laughter and carefree thoughts, not jealousy or rage.” The king stopped walking, grabbing your arm so you could face him.

He glanced over to the soldier who had stopped at the end of the hall, a few feet ahead. “The governors voted for the child who had more of a level of maturity and that was you. Now you can complain about it and deny it all you want but at the end of the day you will still be the next heir to the throne.” The king tried to look into your eyes, to try and find some sort of sign that you understood but all he could find was despair. He cleared his throat, letting go of your arm. “It’s been fourteen years, Y/N, I would’ve thought you and your brother would have been over it by now.”

Your father continued to walk down the hall. “I’m not saying that I don’t wish to be queen, I’m just stating that I believe the vote was unfair. Johan was born first; I have read that on other planets that would mean that he would be the next heir.”

“On other planets, my daughter, not this one.” your father stated. With that he continued to walk down the hallway, you trailed a few steps behind.

“I would have thought that with what happened with your own brother you would want to do things differently,” you mumbled, but the words were still heard by your father.

The soldier laid in a bed with his arm in a sling. He quickly straightened himself as he spotted you and your father walk into the room. “Your majesty,” He said, bowing with his neck. “I have failed you,” the soldier began to say. “Please forgive me.”

“You are forgiven if that’s what you need to hear in order to clear your conscience, but you did not fail this kingdom,” your father informed the soldier that laid in the bed in front of him. “I’ve been told that you come with a message from Sir, Maur himself?”

“Yes, your majesty,” The solder cleared his throat. “I was the only survivor, I think he wanted it that way,” the soldier recalled the memory. “He had his men pull me to my feet and had me look at the damage and h-he told me that if you didn’t cooperate, then he would do the same to the planet.”

You noticed how your father clenched his jaw, his fists tightened as he stared at the floor. He quickly turned to the soldier that led you both to the medical bay. “I need you to fetch my son right away and tell him to meet at my office as soon as possible. Tell him it’s an emergency.”

The soldier didn’t question his king, he gave him a small nod before running out of the room. “Father?” you questioned.

“Thank you-”

“Sergeant Gamor.”

“Thank you, Sergeant Gamor, for this information. We will see to it that you get the best medical attention needed.” Your father then turned to walk out of the room, you smiled at the soldier before following your father out of the room.

“Father!” You exclaimed as you caught up to his pace. “What do you think his intentions are?”

“His intentions? It’s obvious.” Your father glanced at you before looking forward. “He wants the crown.” Your father clenched his jaw at the thought of his brother taking the crown, the crown that he worked so hard to earn, the crown that he was destined for. The king had restored this planet from the debris that it was left in from the generations before, his father had tried to restore peace and failed if only he had lived to see his son do the one thing he couldn’t do. “My brother is fueled by this rage… by this jealousy. He believes this crown was taken from him.” Your father opened the door to your office, signaling for the guards inside to leave him be. You sat on one of the chairs next to the desk. “Your uncle’s rage grew when I married your mother, it was then that he knew for certain he had no chance to earn the crown. Being married made me more fit to be king.”

“I’m not married,” you whispered.

Your father chuckled. “You still have time, my darling. Speaking of, that soldier seemed nice, didn’t he?”

You rolled your eyes. “You were never good at this,” You sighed. “Mother used to always talk to me about boys, trying to find a suitable match.”

Your father couldn’t help but see so much of your mother in you, especially in times that he missed her so dearly. He wished his wife were here to see how much their children have grown.

The sound of the door opening quickly drew your father out of his thought’s “what’s going on?” Johan asked as he looked over both of your expressions.

“Our uncle has gone mad once again.”

“He’s been mad, what’s new?”

Your father sighed, “I believe this time his threats are real.” He walks over to his desk, digging for something in one of the drawers. He exclaimed when he found what he was looking for, placing it on top of the desk.

You looked at the small radio-like device, noticing the star along with the red and blue color. “She said it was for emergencies,” you stated.

“This is an emergency.”

“Y/N and I can defeat him, we’re strong enough.”

“I’m afraid you’re not,” your father sighed as he sat on his chair behind the desk. “Your uncle somehow gained powers that are not from this planet, powers that not one of us can defeat. We also can’t put the heir to the throne’s life in danger.”

“So, then I will go into battle,” Johan suggested.

Your father shook his head. “Captain Marvel is our only hope.”

“What if she doesn’t answer? After Thanos’s destruction, she showed up a couple of times but then disappeared on us again.”

“She spoke about the Avengers,” you pitched. “Maybe they could help? She said they could be trusted.”

“You can’t be serious. We’d have to go to Earth in order to contact them, it’s basically a suicide mission!”

“Don’t you think you’re overreacting?” You questioned your brother. “Going into battle with a man that can overpower is a suicide mission.”

“She’s right,” your father piped in. “Having you both at Earth looking for these Avengers is better than having you here waiting for Captain Marvel to respond. We’ll send Captain Marvel a distress signal while you both go to earth and look for the Avengers… the more help, the better.”

“You can’t be serious! The journey to earth will take days!” Johan exclaimed.

“It’s actually just a day journey, if we leave tomorrow morning we should get there the next day. It shouldn’t take any longer than four days to find the avengers, we could make it back within a week maybe less,” you commented.

The king can see how against his son is with the decision, he hated to think so low of his son, but he couldn’t help but compare him to his own brother. The brother that betrayed him and now was asking for his crown. “Knowing my brother, he’ll wait for me to make the next move, he isn’t reckless with his men.” he sighs, “you’ll both leave in the morning, take this time to pack supplies and get rest.”

You and Johan both get up from your spots and walk out of the room, walking in silence half the way. “I hope you know I disagree with this,” Johan comments as you both continue your walk to your designated rooms.

You stopped in front of your door, turning to your brother. “Do you ever agree with any of our decisions?”

“Do I ever have a say?” Johan asked. You knew the answer to that, but before you could retaliate, Johan was already halfway down the hall and leaving you to your thoughts.
