I ended up shading that Masked Shrike sketch from a few days ago!

Ok, here we queue!

Have a Eurasian Kingfisher, also known as Alcedo Atthis! I am... a bird nerd. And we bird nerds are Not doing so good in quarantine. So I figured- if I can't get to the birds, I can bring them to me!

This started as a warmup sketch, that I ended up spending way too much time on. But who cares, if there's anything that I have right now, it's time.

This started as a warmup sketch, and I planned for a full illustration of him, but I ended up liking the sketch better so I just colored it instead.

This is a personal attack. I have! A type! We've Been Knew, but still!!

It's winter where I leave, so since I work as a tour guide and semi-garderner-thing, there isn't much for me to do in winter. I've been trying to keep constructive, which is why I have so many doodles to post!

This started as just some sketches of some faves I never drew, and turned into practice in drawing something other then just girls and birds.

I'm not very confident in my skills at drawing ~manly man~. Since most of my faves are pretty cutesy and feminine, this worked as perfect practice! (You'll see in part 2 of this post why I don't usually draw guys lol)

These took 10-15 minutes for each little headshot, so it's also another practice at getting stuff done in one sitting.

*chanting* doodle wall! Doodle wall! Doodle wall!!!!

My roomate was feeling down, so I covered her wall with some RWBY!

The best part is that it's in an angle where I can see it from my bed. It's a win-win!

So, we've established that I'm capable of drawing *some* boys, but for the longest time I just couldn't come up with any RWBY boys my roomate likes. I ended up putting Oscar up there, since he's non-controversial-y cute, and I'm decently happy with him!.

The girls though! Are so good! I love them!! My faves are deff Nora and Penny, they turned out so good!!! Good electricity related girls!!!

And of Course I had to put some stupid puns in there. How could I not.

I finished that drawing I posted a whip of a little while back! Have my waifu, Nozomi Tojo from Love Live! School Idol Festival.

I don't really keep up with the game anymore, but Halloween Nozomi has always been my dream UR. I may not have her in game, but I now have her IRL, which is even better! Draw your waifu, live out your dreams.

This is obviously a simplified version, since I do everything traditionally. I also like to put my little spin on things, based on what I enjoy drawing ^^

A concept sketch of my RWBY rp character- Mitch Llana. Mitch is a Shrike faunus- so this all comes full circle! Also, I've posted the concepts of their weapon a while back.

Those are characters from the webcomic Solanaceae and the game Tomai, both by @dcsart!

I love love love everything by DCS, and have posted art of their characters before. I wanted to take the chance to draw the main characters of my two favorite things by them!

Yes, I did already have Battam in one of these doodle piles, but it's not like I could *not* have him here, so I took another pass at him. Not sure which ver I like better, though this one is probably more Battam-y.

Also, I still can't draw ~manly man~. Sorry Sal. An attempt was made!!

Did a cheeky little Hatsune Miku redesign doodle! Heavily inspired by @destinytomoon and their amazing redesigns. We are in a very Miku mood.

I'm stuck at home for the foreseeable future, so I figured this was a good opportunity to try out my markers again! I've had them for about... 7 years now? And this is maybe the 3th or 4th time I've used them... I just!! Love pencils too much!!

I told myself I'd only use the markers, but I ended up going in with pencils at the very last minute to bland out some edges. I guess you can say this is a mixed medium project of sorts!

Again, this was an attempt at getting things done in ine sitting, this time with a bigger project. I almost did it, at the price of my sleeping schedule, but I ended up finding a bunch if mistakes in the morning and going back to fix them. I still count this as a success though!

First one the drawing agenda- this lovely beatle! It's a Green Rose Chafer! I used maybe 7 different pictures (all mine) for it.

This was supposed to be another marker practice, but I just... love my colored pencils too much, so this is markers with a pencil overlay! Another multi-media-thingy to the basket.

I'm really really proud of this drawing! Obviously, my favorite part is coloring, though getting to draw a cute insect was also fun. Those legs! Were a pain! To color!! But we did it, and now I have a new beatle friend, so it's a win-win.

I mentioned my RWBY RP character Mitch, who doesn't have a reference yet. What I do have a reference for is their weapon!

They're a shrike faunus, which is why their weapon is designed off a shrike's beak ^^

Here's a copypaste of the weapon description from the Discord server I RP on.

BBB- Biting Butcher Bird

A staff, with sharp hooks on both ends, that are shaped like bird-of-prey beaks. The beaks are detachable, so it can be one-ended or double-ended. The beaks can also be used on their own as sickles. The beaks are connected by a chain, so they can be extended.

The staff has a mechanic where the beaks can open and shoot out small darts. Instead of darts, Mitch can choose to use thorns that they grow with their semblance (either pre-made or made on the spot). The beaks can also open and close on a target, mimicking a bite.
