Ben thought it was adorable that Y/N's flame hair turned different colors. He was like an LED multi-colored lamp. Though as strange as it was, Y/N's hair always turned a different color when Ben was around. His cold and ice blue flames turned a warm and vibrant pink whenever the King of Auradon would compliment him or touch his hand or hug him.

"Y/N? Why does your hair turn pink around me?" Ben asked after his meetings with the school board. It was a long meeting and he looked forward to hanging out with the son of Hades and Chernabog.

Y/N looked at him and tried to take a look of confusion. "What do you mean?"

"I mean. Whenever I touch or hug you, your blue hair turns pink. Is that just an Isle thing, or is that a being the son of Hades thing?"

The VK hoped he wasn't blushing. He didn't want to admit that Ben's touch felt good. Made him feel warm. That's why his hair turned pink. He had a crush on the young king and it was manifesting in his flames.

"That's just a Hades thing. My dad would turn his hair green for me when I was a little kid." Y/N lied.

Ben smiled. His eyes are shining and sparkling. "Really? That's so cool!"

Disney Rumpelstiltskin Part 3

(Thanks for your patience! Sorry it took so darn long, I got stuck on the ending, and didn't want to give up until I had figured it out. Its still a bit rough, it started to get rather complex with my larger DisneyVerse creeping in, but I hope it satisfies! )

So the Imp has come back to make good on Corinne’s last, unsettled payment she owns him, and of course he drops the bomb that he wants her baby daughter, which Corinne of course is not in anyway cool about.

It’s at this point that he reveals that all the other things he had her give up where tests to see just how far she was willing to go, giving up her mother’s treasured necklace, Henri’s ring, symbols of Love being more important then power and prestige. He’d had an eye on her for a while, and these tests were to see if she has the potential in her for for Dark Sorceress material and surprise —She totally does!

And she can’t really get on in moving up the Dark Sorceress ladder if she has a baby holding her back, so if she’ll just dump the kid for him to dispose of then she can come with him and get on with growing her dark magical powers, maybe even eventually elevating herself to the throne—

At which point Corinne cuts him off and declares she doesn’t want that at all! She just wants to live peacefully with Henri and their baby, she’s happy with the luck she’s had and doesn’t want more power, doesn’t want to be like the people she’s seen in Dior’s court, constantly scheming and backstabbing and never being actually happy.

The Imp’s face falls, golden eyes flashing with disappointment—and anger. Fine, if that’s how she feels, then she doesn’t have to join him in creating magical chaos. He’ll just keep to the original deal and take the baby, and she can stay and be happy with her boring human husband. They can always have another brat anyway right? If Henri still wants her after finding out she tradded their child to get where she is. She really should have read the fine print on that first bargin the made. But the Imp considers himself a merciful being, he’ll give her three days to think it over and change her mind

Left alone and horrified at the realization of all she has to lose, her family, her humanity, Corinne comes to a decision—to tell her Henri the truth and hope he can forgive her and help her save their child, for the baby’s sake if not for hers if he finds he can’t love her anymore.

But of course he can, he’s always been the best of the people in the court, and he’s not about to lose his beloved wife and child without a fight. The Imp said she had magic, powerful magic of her own. Couldn’t they use that magic to find a way to stop him?

And Corinne starts to feel hope. There's something in that. She might not be powerful enough to go toe to toe with the Imp, but if she could find a way to go around him? Find a weakness of his? She clutches a handful of star, the thing that had started this all off, and summons the magic to her, focusing on what the Imp had taught her into bringing it to the surface. A ball of gold begins to form, a string coming loose and shooting out the door, slithering off into the darkness. Hesitanting only as long as it takes to grab a weapon, the couple join hands and race after it, two Theseus's pursuing the Minator into the labyrinth...

They find their way to strange tumbled down structure in the middle of the forest. It looks abandoned enough, but both know looks can be decieving. They cautiously enter the ruin-- but not cautiously enough it seems. A dizzing burst of light explodes around them, and when they can see again, the Imp sits before them, chuckling darkly.

"What, did you expect to sneak up and find me dancing around the fire singing my True Name? "

Instantly the two find themselves bound by the very thread they'd followed, as the Imp continues to gloat and heckle them. Rage builds up inside Corinne, the same anger she's felt from feeling the neglect of her father, the contempt of the village and Dior and his court. And with the rage comes an idea. What had the Imp said about dancing about and...

"I want to make a new Deal" Corinne says sharply, cutting off the Imp mid taunt.

"Oh? And what is it you could possibly offer me now Dearie? Ready to join me and leave the little people and their little minds behind after all are you?"

"No, I still want to stay with Henri and my baby"

"Then I'm afraid you've nothing I want"

"I think I do..." Corinne whispers, taking hold of the thread of gold that binds her, the thread she herself had conjoured, meant to lead her to find a way to undo this creatures hold on her.

"I'm offering you my Magic"

The Imp's eyes blaze, despite his effort to appear as calm and unruffled as usual, and Corinne can see she's struck gold. "You said I've the potential for great power. I'm offering you that in exchange for leaving me and my husband and child in peace together, free from any harm or machinations you or yours might try. If you promise to leave us be, you may take my magic for yourself"

She twists the cord in her hand, and it shifts into a shining contract and quill, ready to be signed.

"Sign here, and all that potential, all that power is yours"

The Imp hesitates only a moment, greed winning out over caution, seeming not to notice the golden tendrils that flicker along the edges of the quill and contract and loop back into the coil still holding Henri trapped. With a grin of wicked glee he signs the contract with a flourish--

There's a crackle like lightning in the air, and now it's Corinne's turn to smile as the tendrils linking the quill and contract she'd conjured shine with power, looping around herself and the Imp and Henri--and the iron dagger Henri holds in his hand, the dagger that now bears the True Name of the Imp, "Rumplestiltskin"

"A little something for insurance" Corinne says, smirking at the wide eyed Rumplestiltskin. "Iron cannot be touched by the Fay, and so this name can never be erased. If you ever try to break this contract, or if you ever try to touch me, my husband or child again, this dagger will be your undoing. You really should have read the fine print"

For a moment there's an unbearable tension, and then Rumplestiltskin laughs, darkly, wildly. "Oh well played Dearie, well played. Well far be it from me to break the bounds of a contract. I'll be on my way then, but remember--all magic comes with a price. You've paid for our original contract with yours, but you've made a powerful enemy as well. I may not be able to harm you three, but I hope you don't plan on having any other children anytime soon. Enjoy your Happily Ever After while it lasts..."

And then with another flash, he's gone.

And they do enjoy it. They raise their daughter and begin to grow old together, and while there is some sadness that they can not risk having another child, they find that their daughter Regine is enough for them. And for several years all is well.

What happens after that is another story...

Background Bonus Stuff:

Why does Rumplestiltskin deal in babies in the DisneyVerse? Well, long ago a prophecy was made that a Child born of Common Blood raised Royal would be the undoing of the Demon Queen and all her ilk, from whom Rumplestiltskin was of the lineage. He and his family took this to mean a child born from a commoner and a royal. So anytime there's such a child one of them pops up to try and prevent the child from reaching their full potential, influencing events either directly or from the shadows.

Rumplestiltskin prefers corruption over destruction, and turns the children he takes into people unfit to combat the forces of evil, if he cannot turn them fully. All information our couple could have learned if they'd bothered to ask the young woman he'd delivered to be Dior's wife...

So what is Damien's relationship like with his Half-Brother despite having the Same Father but not the Same Mother?

It’s complicated.

Damien is laidback for a demon fae and he takes little offense to Siegfried. But his half brother HATES him. Damien managed to seduce Felicity and killed Philip. Arguably achieving his goal, regardless of his death later on in the timeline.

Siegfried’s plans were foiled. His curse on Florian didn’t get him killed in bear form. His dwarf minion Shifty was incompetent by constantly getting his magical beard stuck. Which left Rose Red no choice but to cut it. Rendering the dwarf’s magic useless. Then when he lay siege to the Pearl Castle in demon form, he was killed by his own step-sister Queen Snow White with a Pearl arrow to his heart. Everything that could have went wrong DID!

He gets high marks cuz he’s magically gifted and is Chernabog’s spawn. But it’s clear Chernabog favors both Maleficent and Damien better over Grimhilde and Siegfried. It’s a shot to his ego and he’s wanting to find a way to get Damien gone.

Evie‘s dad is Chernabog - not that I saw the movie - and Jay‘s mother is one of those three women in one jump ahead, she died giving birth though and he lived with the Tremaines well into toddlerhood.

Hades and Maleficent Child!Yuu At NRC (first year)

!English is not my first language, so sorry for my bad english!

The first time Yuu arrived at the NRC, it didn't bother him.

He knew he was going to have to go, but he didn't expect to leave the underground so soon ! He didn't even have time to say goodbye to his family ! Aurora must be so worried at this time, and Maleficent must be angry and worried and Hades must have probably tried to explain everything to both of them... Yuu will have to give Hades a big hug when he sees him again for the reward of taking care of a Maleficent and Aurora worried.

The Black Mirror was a surprised for him.

Why the Mirror of the Queen is here ? And why it say that Yuu have no power ?? And why it say that his home is not in this world ???

The Mirror have forget his dragon form, or..?

The third question was the quickest to answer. The underground was technically a separate world that was connected to Twisted Wonderland, where only the dead (+gods and the Faery family) can go.

▪︎Funfact : Yuu tried to bring Chernabog back to the NRC to make him stand next to the other NRC statues. He wanted to see how people would react to this, but unfortunately Chernabog refused.

▪︎His first year was calm, no problem, maybe he had some ennemies (*cough* Riddle, Azul, Vil *cough*)

▪︎Oh, and he was a lot observed. Most of the time it was Rook and the Leech Brothers.

At the age of 19, Jack Nyras was once a normal human of American origin before he was used by a cult as a human sacrifice; which involved the removal of his eyes and a liquid mixture of hot tar and blood being poured into his sockets. The sacrifice failed, however, resulting in the ritual accidentally turning Jack into the eldritch kidney eating monster that he is now.[1]

-Non-Canon:

While the story itself is non-canon, the most popular origin story of Eyeless Jack is from the creator of Sally Williams, La Mishi Mishi. Jack Nichols was just like any other average college student. His only real friend was his peer and roommate, Greg. Eventually, he found a sort of friendship with another peer, Jenny, and a small group of her friends. Jack later on discovered that the group turns out to be a cult worshipping a demon named Chernabog, with Jack involuntary made a sacrifice to be a son of Chernabog. Jenny and her friends proceed to store Jack by pouring a hot, tar-like substance into his eyes. After he is reborn as a cambon, a half-demon, and he butchers Jenny and the others with a scalpel; ripping off their masks, slashing their throats, and disembowelling them. He took their kidneys afterward, presumably as a sort of prize, or the fact that it was in some way related to the cult.

-Another Story:

In the original story, a man named Mitch moves in with his brother Edwin after his house is foreclosed. A week later, Mitch wakes up with a large gash on his cheek. After going to the hospital, the doctor reveals that Mitch's left kidney had been surgically removed overnight. Around midnight that night, Mitch wakes to see Eyeless Jack over his bed, wearing a blue mask with black liquid dripping from empty eye sockets behind the mask. Mitch manages to grab his camera and take a picture before Jack attacks, clawing at his chest. Mitch escapes and flees into the woods, where he trips and is knocked unconscious.

When Mitch awakens in the hospital, it is revealed to him that Edwin had been killed the previous night. His parents drive him to the house to collect his belongings. When he enters, Mitch sees Edwin's corpse and a small object lying next to it. He observes it to find that it is his kidney with a bite taken out of it, covered in a black substance.

Decided to post some EJ hcs i’ve been sitting on-not sure how much of these are just me just repeating canon. They’re more like notes I took while relistening to the story and trying to answer my own question

Anyways just remember their hcs and ur welcome to think differently-this is just all in good fun

-Jack and Chernabog are now forced to inhabit one body

-Jack can keep Chernabog down by eating humans organs-he chooses kidneys because he can take them without killing his victims-he steals the materials he needs and uses his schooling to take them without causing much damage. Since we only need one to live, he takes one and leaves the other.

-When Jack doesn’t eat, Chernabog takes over. This results in physical changes-he becomes much larger, sharper fangs, a more muzzle like nose, pointier teeth, larger hands with sharper fingers, tar dripping down his eyes, and his legs turn into hind legs reminiscent of a lion (or honestly any other predatory mammal)

-In this state, he follows the scent of blood and will eat anyone who crosses his path, leaving nothing but bones. He will keep eating until he is satisfied, where he once again lets Jack take over

-He’ll take people’s cars and drive to different neighborhoods (townhouses, apartments) to stock up on kidneys and see what's going on in the world-then drive to a woodland area to hide and eat. Sometimes he’ll steal kidneys from any campers that happen to be nearby. He moves frequently and at this point has lived in many different states. He’ll also just sleep in abandoned buildings

Now for some bigger picture thingies :))

-The cult at the college specifically was started by Jenny. She felt that what she read in her books was real, and started to spread this idea to her friends, who spread it to their friends, which led to the creation of the cult. They believed that they had to summon Chernabog, as he would release them from the suffering of life. As they satisfied his hungry spirit, he would, in return, lead them to paradise.

-People in the school weren’t really aware of this. The most people saw was this group of friends going into the woods to hang out, and they would sometimes make a bonfire, but nothing more. Even if people saw it as a cult, they never took it seriously-just some people worshiping some fake demon. They haven’t done anything wrong, so why should they care?

-The cult aspect of this story brought it to a national news level, putting a highlight on secret societies at different universities. However, the story died down, though it was still talked about for months later on a local level as the authorities tried to find out who killed the cult members

-Jack is still the primary suspect, seeing as his roommate could support his going to the meeting, and as his body was not found in the massacre. It’s also assumed that he took the missing cult mask. However, the one detail that lowers Jack’s possibility as a suspect are the claw and bite marks of the victims-the scratch marks are obviously from an animal with claws, and the bites are from a creature with sharper teeth than a human, which leads to the possibility that it could have just been an attack by some wild animals, even though wild animals with those characteristics are not native to the area

-The attack was first reported by Greg, his roommate. He knew Jack was there and was the first to see the massacre. Greg, along with Jack’s parents, still deny he had any part in the Cult Massacre. Greg insists that Jack would never hurt anyone, and he was way too focused on school to get involved in that cult stuff seriously. Jack’s parents were proud of their son and the bright future he seemed to have ahead of him-they’re still waiting for him to come home.

-When Jack first started taking kidneys, many of his early victims died as he did not have access to the proper materials and was not used to performing these at home surgeries. As he continued, the mortality rate of his victims went down, though there was still a chance they would die. It was easy for investigators to link these to one person, due to the trend of taking one kidney.

-In between these were cases of people being brutally mauled to death. It was first assumed that it was a person assisted by some kind of animal, as the state of the bodies afterwards had markings made by some kind of animal (though the specific animal was never pinned down, it was just obvious they weren’t human), but doors were still unlocked, and windows were opened, which suggested that a human had to have been involved

-The connection between these two crimes were made after Mitch’s (the mc from the original EJ story) story was released-it got both attention not just on national media, but also on the internet. Both the stories of people waking up with just one kidney, and people being brutally mauled were now connected and could be attributed to one person, though this only confused investigators more, due to his two methods of killing, the now lack of clear motive, the inclusion of now possibly cannibalistic tendencies, and questions as to how this person could have left claw and bite marks similar to that of an animal

-People later reached out to Mitch afterwards online, thanking him for his bravery in posting his story. The people were either victims of this mysterious killer, or knew someone who was attacked by him. This led to a small support group on the Internet where people talked about their experience with him, and how it affected their life. Most victims have moved to less wooded areas, more in city areas, in fear that he might come back for them.

-There is a small subgroup of people on the internet that connected this animalistic cannibal to the Cult Massacre story. They dubbed the name “Eyeless Jack” as they believe that Jackson Novikov of the Cult Massacre story is the same person in Mitch’s story. The blue mask is similar to the mask of the cultists, it was revealed that Jackson was in med school which explains the in-home surgeries, and the state the cultists were left in is similar to how some of Jack’s victims are left. Few are quick to believe this, seeing it as only a conspiracy theory.

-Investigators have come to predict where their cannibal will strike next, as medical supplies from hospitals will have been reported stolen a few days before someone would report either being a victim of the cannibal, or knowing someone who was attacked by the cannibal. This has led to an increase in stolen materials from hospitals and other medical facilities, and after a few too close for comfort run ins with the police, Jack has learned to move around before making his attack, though this has led to a increase in attacks that resembles ones done by Chernabog

Black: Sora

Bayard Weapon: Keyblade

The former Paladin of the Black Lion was a leader with a strong and caring heart. He was a good friend to Donald and Goofy and continued being their friend after being chosen by Black. As a leader, he heard out everyone’s opinions and did what was best for the team. At times he could get impatient in battle. He was betrayed by the Red Paladin and fought him after Yellow was killed. Before dying he uttered that he forgives them.

Red: Dante Grimore

Bayard Weapon: Twin Daggers

The former Paladin of the Red Lion is a force to be reckoned with in battle. He showed little to no mercy against his foes, while his leader would. He was enthusiastic and genuinely cared about the universe as his role at first but it became dull. He got orders from his father, Chernabog to kill them or do what was best. He decided to betray them. He and Sora fought hard but eventually he killed him, and turned his Lion over to his father with his own.

Green: Max Goof

Bayard Weapon: Rifle

The former Paladin the Green Lion was the only son of Goofy. His father would gladly pronounce how proud he was of his son, making him incredibly embarrassed. He was taking risks in battle while keeping a calm head. His tactics had proven to safe his comrades lives time and time again. Unfortunately he was killed by Dante’s betrayal. He was stabbed in the chest by one of his daggers as he was running to his Lion to save everyone. Before he died, he told Green to flee, and that’s what they did.

Yellow: Kairi

Bayard Weapon: Bow and Arrow

The former Paladin of the Yellow Lion was the sweetest girl around. She was always telling her fellow Paladins to get rest when needed and befriending the locals on the planets they visited. Everyone could see there was something between her and Sora. When in battle, she would do anything she could do to protect her friends. Sadly she met a horrible end by Dante’s hand. She was shot by a Demon soldier in front of Sora. He held her as she died a slow and painful death.

Blue: Darling Crowley

Bayard Weapon: Swords

The former Paladin of the Blue Lion is a cunning and caring girl. She worked hard as her role of Paladin. Her father Dire, was extremely proud of his daughter. When it came to battle, she was good at it. When Dante betrayed the others, she was quick to escape in Blue after seeing her comrades die. She fled to Earth and hid Blue in a spot she deemed secure. She disguised herself as a human and left clues, puzzles and scrambles for the rest of the universe to find her location. She got a job as a pilot team at Black Pearl and taught the cadets how to fly spacecraft. Thirty years after her disappearance she was discovered by the new Paladins and teaches them.

The Big Bads of Kingdom Hearts (Divergence)

Xehanort - Big Bad of KH0.I (as Master Xehanort/Terra-Xehanort), KH1 (as Ansem & Xemnas), and KH2 (as Xemnas), major villain in CoM (as Ansem), XIII Days (as Xemnas), KH3D, KH3, and KH5. Easily the most iconic and ever-present KH original villain in the series, Xehanort was the greatest enemy to Sora and his friends. We see him in many forms: as a human, a superhuman, a Heartless, a Nobody, a memory specter, a data copy, and a Hollow Replica carrying his heart's entire essence that ultimately fuses together with a demonic god of darkness. Even after he's dead, his machinations create new trouble in the form of his Replica bastard son turned Ephemer clone who draws power from Nothingness. Had Xehanort's canonical trajectory matched this, all of him might have placed among the best video game villains instead of among the worst.

Maleficent - Major villain in KH0.1, KH1, CoM, KH2, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, KH4, and Pandemoniac Heartless Parade.

While Maleficent can never secure the position of THE Big Bad in any story, she's the Mistress of All Evil for a reason, and such a thing would feel too constraining for her. She stands as the arch foe of the Destiny Trio and all Disney good guys who've allied with them, and is always seeking ways to claim higher power, having involved herself with all major forces of evil to besiege the worlds. Even after getting ousted in KH0.I, after her own death in KH1, and after seeming to lose all power in KH4, she proves you can never count her out.

Marluxia - Big Bad of CoM, Major villain in KH2, XIII Days, and KH3.

One of the less remarkable Big Bads in the series as he only exists to service larger plots of Organization XIII and the Dark Seekers, yet in some ways this makes Marluxia all the more impressive for what he is. Much like CoM itself, he didn't need to go as hard with his plots and the style in his villainy, but he sure does and we love him for it.

Saix - Big Bad of XIII Days, Major villain in CoM, KH2, and KH3.

Saix is in the same boat as Marluxia and unfortunately has less luck when it comes to being a Big Bad, as no matter how much he may try otherwise, he's always in the shadow of Xemnas. That said, he still makes for a creepy and compelling antagonist you love to hate.

Pete - Major villain in KH2, XIII Days, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, KH4, Pandemoniac Heartless Parade, The Missing Links, and KH5.

The closest Pete comes to Big Bad status is playing the de-facto main antagonist in Encoded Worlds, but even that's at the behest of Maleficent and he's easily outdone by a computer virus. His major villain status comes from being a minion who also happens to be the Disney Castle crew's sworn enemy. Following Maleficent's power loss, he even gains a partner in the treacherous Duke Mortimer.

Chernabog & The MCP - Major villains in KH1 and KH2 respectively. Chernabog is, like Darxomnious, a demonic deity of darkness who, once situated at the core of End of the World, became a benefactor to Xehanort and the Heartless, but he is only encountered in a single boss fight (though he resurfaces as a nightmare boss in 3D and yet again in KH5). The MCP is more prominent, being the Arc VIllain for the Space Paranoids world that's directly tied with Hollow Bastion, essentially the digital counterpart to Terra-Xehanort who's even implied to service Xemnas himself, though he hates all other users.

Darxomnious & Master Luxu - Big Bad of KH3, Major villain(s) in X, KH3D, and The Missing Links. Darxomnious is the aggregation of the darkest of all hearts, the progenitor of all Darklings, and the overarching Big Bad of the second saga just as Terra-Xehanort was of the first. Master Luxu is the old master whose heart and mind has been tied directly to the dark god and who acts as his vessel in leading the XIII and directing the Dark Seekers movement. While both perish by the end of KH3, we see a fairy tale take on Darxomnious in X and fight a spectral memory of both him and Luxu in one route of The Missing Links.

Hades - Big Bad in Pandemoniac Heartless Parade, Major villain in KH0.1, KH1, CoM, KH2, XIII Days, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, and The Missing Links.

He's...well, he's Hades. What more need be said?

Judge Frollo - Major villain in KH3D, KH4, and The Missing Links. Frollo debuts in KH3D as the main villain of one of the penultimate worlds (voiced here by Earl Boen rather than Corey Burton) and gets defeated in the world's collective shared dream, which led to him being stripped of all authority upon the world's waking. Finding a way to flee his world, Frollo resurfaces as one of the most primary villains in KH4 (now voiced by Timothy E. Brummund) who conspires with the Lost Masters to exploit the Demi-Deterged and purge the worlds of all he considers sinful, even when it only grows and enhances his own heart's darkness. He's killed off for real, but makes one final appearance as an illusion to be vanquished in The Missing Links.

Master Narix - Big Bad in KH4, The Missing Links, and KH5. Narix is the third saga's overarching Big Bad and essentiallly the final boss of KH Divergence, as my imagination just can't extend past KH5. Narix, by nature, is a Contrasting Sequel Antagonist to Xehanort, basically Master Eraqus' moral absolutism and ideals of light supremacy taken to the furthest extremes, as he seeks to dismantle and reassemble Kingdom Hearts so as to eliminate all darkness across not just the World but the multiverse ('cause you know we had to go there at some point), all costs be damned. In doing so he ironically creates an evil force called "blight", light that's been perverted to the point where it works in tandem with darkness. Narix is only seen once in KH4, then becomes a more prominent enemy in both The Missing Links and KH5 along with the order he and his subservient Lost Masters leads, the Luminous Vanguard. Following Neodarkness and Evanessé, he's KH5's very final boss.

Vanitas/Neodarkness - Major villain in KH0.1, KH3D, KH3, KH4, The Missing Links, and KH5.

Vanitas is a major villain in KH0.1 and in KH3, with a phantom image of him being utilized by Xehanort in KH3D to spread nightmares. However, he doesn't come into his own until he embraces the fact that he is a perfect manifestation of darkness itself, which allows him to evolve into Neodarkness, the dark entity who takes Darxomnious' place as ruler of all dark hearts and evil beings. What's neat about Neodarkness is that, unlike Darxomnious, he's not strictly evil all the time, he's more a Chaotic Neutral who acts for his own amusement. Along with Narix and Evanessé, he's one of KH5's final bosses.

Evanesse' - Major villain in The Missing Links and KH5.

This would be "Xehanort's Replica bastard son turned Ephemer clone who draws power from Nothingness" I mentioned before. When Xehanort was in his new Replica body and planned on becoming a god by merging with Darxomnious, he secretly used the knowledge of Xion's creation from one cursed timeline as a blueprint to create his own Hollow Replica he planned on reincarnating his human heart into, but as Darxomnort was destroyed, this never happened. It ends up being Ephemer's heart that gives life to this Replica, creating the tortured and nihilistic Evanessé who seeks to find his own aim and place in the world before ultimately deciding he wants everything around him to disappear into Nothing, hence his thematic name. Along with Neodarkness and Narix, he's one of KH5's final bosses.

King Magnifico - Major villain in KH5.

Magnifico is sort of like the MCP of KH5, being the Arc Villain of a running subplot. We're told he's in competition with Yen Sid because he wants to seize ownership of the Mysterious Tower and relocate it to be Rosas-adjacent, and the Wishing Star he's on the lookout for is one of Ephemer's allies throughout the game, but we only meet him in person upon actually visiting Rosas, where he's faced down and defeated. His inclusion in the game not only makes sense given the timing, but due to the fanbase he's garnered over in Japan. He's also a parallel to Narix, a man in white whose good intentions have given way to selfishness and power-lust that he can't even recognize.

What do you think happened to the Magic Mirror after the queen's death?

Ooookay! So buckle up cuz in my DisneyVerse the Mirror actually has quite an interesting and detailed backstory, and you just unlocked it xD

So first, the the spirit within it is actually the demon son of Chernabog and the sorceress Vor, the man called Voland, who long time followers will remember is the Old Soldier, the villain of my Frozen 3 plot.

He was trapped in the Mirror ages ago by an enchantor, the first Storykeeper of Enchancia, who for years kept the Mirror under his own careful watch in the Secret Library. Eventually however the Mirror was stolen by dark forces who managed to breach the library, and fell into the hands of many dark magic users across the years, either by bequeathment, theft or murder, eventually becoming the property of Queen Grimhilde.

After the Queen's death, the Mirror was kept locked away for a time in Snow White's palace, until she and the prince were able to make contact with people who promised to take it to a place to be locked away forever, Spire out on a distant mountain where many powerful and dangerous magical artifacts are kept under watch.

Unfortunately, on route to the Spire, the caravan gaurding the Mirror is attacked by the witches of the Seven Mountains, the coven to which Grimhilde had once belonged, lead by the self styled Witch Empress Mammona, who for years kept it and learned from its secrets, eventually discovering its full dark lineage.

The Mirror instructs them to take it to the Enchanted Forest of the Northuldra, a place of great primordial magic, where they will be able to break him free of the Mirror using the latent magic of the place.

Luckily the Spirits that gaurd this particular Enchanted Forest are very against a great evil being unleashed into it, and alert the Fifth Spirit, great mage called Oaván (a native of the Northuldra who is linked most to Earth, and able to transform into animals) and together with the Northuldra move to attack the Witches before they can finish their dread deed.

A fierce battle commences between the Spirits/Northuldra and the Witches, both of whom call on allies to help in the battle. But eventually, though not without Oaván receiving a mortal wound, the forces of Good are able to route the Witches and halt the ceremony.

Only part of Voland was able to be pulled from the mirror, an undying yet mostly mortal man, left with but a fraction of his power, the rest remains locked behind the glass of the Mirror. Voland the man manages to escape with the last few witches, but the Mirror is left behind.

With the last ounces of his strength, Oaván takes the Mirror to Atohallan, a place none came come to save the spirits, and locks it away in a tomb of ice, succumbing at last to his wounds.

And there there Mirror stayed for long years, kept safely locked away from the world. Until a new Fifth Spirit was chosen, Elsa of Arendelle, who with her companions was once more was forced to do battle with Voland, who had been able to recover ancient artifacts that allowed him to bind the Spirits, using their power to assult Atohallan in search of his Mirror and the rest of his powers.

He would be defeated once more by the forces of Good, and the mirror shattered, effectively destorying Voland for all time, though slight bits of his malevolent influence would manage to tumble back into the world through shards of the mirror that were thrown into the air in the final battle. Not enough to cause great evil but enough to do harm to those unlucky enough to come into contact with them...

(Yes I do have plans for an actual Snow Queen adaptaion tied into Frozen but that'll be a bit yet I still got Godmother Backstories to do x)

"Studios Paris opened dead and empty, but from opening there was one glimmer of light. I imagine this amazing show must have been a comfort - something you wanted to revisit again and again, in a park where 'Aladdins flying carpets' was a fast pass ride. Plot-wise, it's a lot like Mickey's Philharmagic (or Mickey et son orchestre Philharmagique, as it will be known when it comes to Paris many years later) but it predates this film. Instead of animation, though, it's charming puppetry and stunning live performances. Animagique was a WONDERFUL show and whilst Mickey and the Magician is good, it can't compare to the must-see value that Animagique had every time. It had a good run - 14 years - but I miss it :') "

Spectromagic: Magic Kingdom (1991-1999, 2001-2010)

THE ACTUAL GOAT HERE FOLKS! TRULY THE BEST AND MOST MAGICAL PARADE DISNEY HAS EVER DONE AND PROBABLY WILL EVER DO! I cry about it everyday tbh. Video doesn't capture just how freaking magical this parade was. The soundtrack is just pure magic and wonder. The lighting effects were absolutely amazing. They even had a Fantasia section with freaking Chernabog! Then the finale part, YALL, it was gorgeous, and would change from black and white to color!!!! I seriously cannot overstate the magic of this parade. It is SUCH a core memory. This is when the parks were at peak magic in my opinion. Don't even get me started on why it ultimately retired, it was literally CAUSE THEY DIDN'T STORE THE FLOATS PROPERLY! LIKE WHAT THE HELL DISNEY! YOU KNOW FLORIDA WEATHER. Makes me burst at the seams that the greatest parade of all time is lost and 99% sure not ever coming back (cause they are waaaay to cheap to produce this parade nowadays) and nkehewnc2jbvif2. Gosh, Id give anything for the parks to go back to this type of entertainment. But just please, PLEASE bring back night parades! There is nothing as magical as a disney night parade !

knowing what we know about Steve, what do you think Sarah was like? what do you think their relationship was like?

Ooo juicy question!

I think of her as being like Steve, only worse. 

She uses her words alone instead of fists to combat wrong-doers. 

And, now, I don’t want to stereotype, but... this Irishwoman can Talk. I find the typical Saintly Mother characterisation bland af and frankly a bit sexist (y'know, the madonna of the house with the soft voice who never says anything harsh ever? Bor-ing! How could that woman marry a soldier, run a hospital ward like clockwork, and handle a son like Steve? She needs some guts to her!)

I hc that Steve's gift for public speaking is a sign of her influence. 

Since his voice is, it seems, the only part of him that he never had trouble with pre-serum, I see her asking him to read aloud to her as she's going about her household tasks (especially while he's, eg. bedridden, and needs something to take his mind off it).

And from that, he would've learned how to read a speech compellingly, as well as become something of a bookworm, surprisingly well-read because he has so much sick time.

(If you think about it, it's odd for someone who has never been listened to before, to have developed that talent of public speaking unless there's a reason.)

I also picture her being more formal than Steve, more devout, less irreverent. Not necessarily by nature, but just because she's had a hard life and it's ground some of the joy out of her (my own grandmother lost a husband and had a sickly child, and I saw how this impacted her).

Maybe she was something of a free spirit in her youth, but not (entirely) by the time Steve knew her. 

She’d be a feminist and a democratic socialist; always interested in unions, protests, refusing to discriminate against people because she’s a medical professional and it’s not the good Christian thing to do, in her opinion. (And she knows what it means to be down and out, to be looked down upon for being Irish). Being a snob, she would think, is a rich man’s thing. She didn’t come to live in New York just to have provincial values. 

She’d be helped in this endeavour by being a tenacious contrarian; stumbling into far-sighted ideas just because her natural instinct is always to question and contradict the status quo. A firebrand, seeing nothing contradictory in questioning authority or arguing back about what the Bible means, as you might expect from a devout woman. (A wild-child in respectable catholic widow’s clothing?) This is not a woman you ever want to get into an argument with. 

Like, I can just see the local priest, who maybe isn't as kind or generous as he should be by Rogers Standards, seeing her coming towards him with a militant glint in her eye, and muttering 'fuck' under his breath. (Cuz, y'know, here comes That Rogers Woman again. Cancel my one o’clock, Sister Mary.)

Also, CATFA is very clear that the good people are those who defend the weak from bullies. So IMO that means Sarah - before Bucky came along - was the one preventing kid!Steve from getting his clock punched. 

Picture a bunch of kid bullies, swarmed around kid Steve, who is sitting on the bottom of his buildings stoop, innocently sketching. 

And then... Mrs Rogers appears on the top step, like Chernabog coming out of the mountain in Fantasia, gives them A Look, and they all scatter. 😅 

I also hc Steve's attitude to authority figures comes from her. 

The way he expects them to uphold a certain moral standard, will absolutely undermine them if they don’t, and expects them to speak to him with respect, even if he is beneath them, and will only show them as much respect as they show him. 

That, to me, screams 'my mother raised me as if we were two equals, a team, a duo, not an authority figure and a subject who is never allowed to question or answer back and just has to go along with whatever they say.' 

Also, the way Steve is with Natasha? 

The lack of any problems with a woman in authority making tactical calls, the nonverbal communications/requests for input, and automatic respect of her opinion, the insistence on interacting with her like a human being, not a flirty sex object. The way he's fine with her asking invasive questions about his private life but will snap Tony's head off for doing the same, has to be warmed up to Sam before he allows it, is cagey towards Erskine even tho there are literal military police outside Steven ffs.

Yeah. 

Steve is very clearly most comfortable with being one half of a familial two-person duo with a highly intelligent woman. That's so Sarah.

I picture Steve being, around Sarah, a lot like he is around Nat. 

Sarah grilling him with questions about what's going on with his life, has he been going to Mass, has he been eating properly, has he been taking his medicine, etc., and him stolidly sitting there, like a good-natured golden retriever being 'savaged' by the family cat. That's my mental image. 

From an aesthetic POV: I see her as lanky but slight, extremely good-looking, fairer-haired than Steve but more tanned, more heart-shaped in the face, and, in a Barnes-Rogers shindig, most likely to be found curled up in a corner with a mug in her hands, gossiping melodramatically with Winnie.

(Sidenote: Sarah and Bucky. 

Bucky can do no wrong. Bucky is a saint, an angel come down to Earth, he has never done anything wrong in his life, ever, and anyone who says otherwise is a filthy rotten liar. Bucky would take years to stop being intimidated by her, and stop being rueful of her influence on Steve -- like, maybe if she was more laidback about Right and Wrong, Steve wouldn’t be getting his ass kicked so often? 

But Adult Bucky would appreciate her more (appreciate the difficulty of keeping Steve alive and well. Or if not well then at least alive). 

And he would occasionally horrify- simply horrify -Steve by flirting with Sarah, and she’d just chortle and smack him with a dish-towel. He would deliberately bring up subjects he knows will set her off just to grin and watch Steve groan and roll his eyes and smash his face into his hands as she starts in on him. 

Bucky could burp out loud at the dinner table and she’d just say ‘well at least it shows he enjoys his food Steve you should take a leaf out of his book and eat more sure look at you love you’re wasting away-’ )
