I’m addressing this one time and one time only, and I will be ignoring all the asks in my inbox because I just know most of them would be a anonymous person speaking out of their ass.

I get that Too Hot to Handle is just a game, and Elodie is just a pixel, but the transphobia all over is not cool. Elodie will never see your hateful ass words but other trans folks in the community will.

Believing a trans person owes you an explanation, or anything if the sort is so toxic, it’s so fucking toxic, no one owes you shit. absolutely no one. and i said this on reddit and i’ll say it here, who they were before they became the person they’re meant to be is none of your damn business, if you don’t like Elodie for the simple fact that she’s trans, you’re transphobic. That’s it. Period. Plain and simple.

And while we’re on this topic, START ADDRESSING PEOPLE BY THE RIGHT PRONOUNS. I see so many of you referring to Alex as he/him when they go by they/them, the amount of you that call me a girl even after i’ve repeatedly said i’m not one is astounding and disgusting.

As a white person(and not even in a white guilt type of sense but I just genuinely feel embarrassed to be acossciated in the same race as certain idiotic individuals atleast), the fact that there have been and still are people who actually unironically want to be a different race and/or ethnicity is just so cringe and offensive like what the hell boy wtf??I know this is gonna sound maybe super specific to complain about, but people on Twitter seem to notice it too so I am gonna attempt in my best efforts to explain ok? Good, so like there are apparently people on TikTok(obvious white people)who don't identify as RCTA(remember when that was a thing?)who I haven't seen directly appropriate black/afrocentric culture visually like others have in the past(Like blackfishing or racebaiting in general), but at the same time still heavily fetishize people of color???It's like those white girls who wanna be east-asian because of the spoon-fed, watered down ver. of the culture which is just anime and k-pop in their eyes. It also goes for other white people who keep saying they want to be black or a brown latina(specifying since being latine isn't a race technically)because they're for once being appreciated somewhat on a mainstream social media platform. Like no, Stacy, you don't actually want to be POC and you'll never be able to because you were born as a white person who is visibly white, you just want to be some sort of counterfeit sexualized-aesthetic fantasy of one because its trending right now!!
