I GOT THE GAY RIDDLER BOOK I WAS TALKING ABOUT

Hello, it is I; the mf who made that meme about the Riddler being canonically bisexual. I BOUGHT the comic where this happened and it is awesome and I love it and everyone should see it.

Here is the comic. It is a collection of short stories made for Valentine’s Day, and every story is EPIC ALL OF THEM ARE AWESOME

This comic features women kissing, one random fisherman who is so perfect, hyperintelligent gorillas going on a date, Alfred using the phrase “Butler school,”  Peacemaker…being Peacemaker, and much more!

This short comic is named “Dinner For Two” written by Ram V.

Basically, the Riddler steals 4 flowers and leaves Batman a fun riddle to solve.

The initials are the initials of four people the Riddler has a crush on, and he gives the flowers to those 4 people.

The first person is his EIGHTH GRADE PHYSICS TEACHER because he was in EIGHTH GRADE and EIGHTH GRADERS ARE VERY SILLY FOOLISH LITTLE PEOPLE (Sorry eighth graders who are reading this, now get off of Tumblr you’re too young)

The second person is a MAN from his college. They were both in the college theatre which canonizes both the Riddler’s bisexuality and the fact that he’s a goddamn theatre kid!

(Also Riddler had no hairline in college. I just felt like that was important to mention)

The third person is a villain named The Quiz. She only appears in this story, just like the other three and also she’s in prison for… being a villain (idk what she did.) She isn’t super remarkable but she’s better than any girl Edward dated in Gotham so there’s that.

The last person is named Jasmine and apparently she just sits on a park bench near Edward’s apartment and does crossword puzzles every day. They’ve never talked apparently and Ed is just a sweet little dummy who’s too nervous.

I can’t help but love her; I’ve never met a bad person who wore earmuffs.

At the end of the story Riddler straight-up asks Batman why he’s solving his dumb riddles on Valentine’s Day instead of spending time with loved ones and then gives him a glass of wine. In return, Batman calls the police on him for stealing 4 flowers.

So that’s the whole thing. There we go; Edward Nygma has The Big Not Straight (tm)

(Oh yeah, the answer to the riddler was “Lonely”)

Zelda 2 comic sneak peek

I took out my old full-length Zelda 2 comic draft and chose a segment to make a short comic out of. It's missing context from the whole grand narrative of the entire story, but I think it gets the point across.

There were a couple potentials, and I ended up choosing the scene where Link discovers that his blood is the key to awakening Ganon. It's the most well-known plot point of the game in the LOZ fandom in general, besides the Prince of Hyrule plot. Throughout the comic, Link gets attacked by various monsters during his quest. He thought Hyrule was incredibly dangerous for merchants and travelers, but found out that it was only him encountering monsters at a high rate, thus targeted (that is not discussed in this short comic). This disturbs him a lot. And this is the scene when he discovers why he's a target. It's more than the monsters seeking revenge.

At some point in the game, the player is made to travel towards south-western Hyrule and use the Hammer on dueling peaks to enter and get a magic potion. You specifically enter the peak that is originally Level 9 in Zelda 1. I found that to be very... interesting. And suspicious. Why did the developers think "Okay lets have Link go back to the traumatizing final boss place from the first game to retrieve an item :D" It's kinda epic honestly and it gave me the idea: For the full comic, I made it that Link follows rumors and travels down there in the hopes of finding the magic book containing the revive spell, which is game-changing for the rest of his journey. Being the adventurer that he is, Link takes the risk and goes there thinking the place is long-abandoned and that Ganon probably no longer exists. Except, that isn't the case. (Okay I must add, after the revelation, Link loses his adventurous spirit and gets very serious with his quest. No longer enjoys exploring, which is all this Link is about. He starts developing Big Fears. This eventually spawns Dark Link. I wish I could make the entire comic but I know I can't T-T I should probably finish up and polish the draft and post it online for whoever is interested in a deep dive, lore-intense Zelda 2 story reimagining.)

It's the first time I do a 10 page comic, so I'm going through a learning curve right now xD It's going to be experimental, but I hope you enjoy it still. Here are some WIP shots. Still a while before it's completed.

Thinking abt ai betty "dying" in front of Simon and her final action as an ai built on bettys memories, was to leave Simon agonizing over what she was trying to tell him before she glitches out. When asked, she says, "I only said that so you wouldn't stop thinking about me." Like. Betty wanting to possess Simon's mind rearranging it's coding to her ends and disregarding simons protests. Despising ice king because he doesn't remember her. Despising the crown. It wasn't because of some kind of blind following. It wasn't because Simon was simply selfish. She did these things because She was selfish, stubborn, determined to do things her way and no one else's (not even simons!) Something beautiful was taken from her and she will get it back!!!!!! She was not some poor hapless innocent girl! She has committed atrocities and by god I refuse to disregard her affinity for the extreme, the reckless, the self destructive to say it's all simons fault for not getting on a bus or something. I guess what im saying is support women's wrongs <3

Fantasy Au Prologue (Draft)

Ray was the protagonist alongside Anna. They are orphanage children (16 ish) result from an ongoing war where they lived. Story is set when they are both adopted by different families. Anna adapts very well and has a good prospect, whereas Ray is just a rebel kid who wants to find his family again (in this au Isa's location is unknown. Ray has been separated from her during the war when he was younger)

During his search, he gets saved from imminent death by what he could describe as an angel. For some reason since then, he can see and feel the supernatural which, as he discovers later, ends up playing a key part of Ray and Isa's past.

This version is no longer "canon" sadly, but I thought sharing this could be nice. As I was writing I noticed there a lot of plot gaps that just couldn't work out and changed some things. The current canon version takes the angels pov (Emma and Norman) and centers more on Emma's emotional journey as a celestial being. Also some characters roles are different like Isabella who's the death angel now. I like both versions, and i took it as a challenge to just write a story really. About the new version I don't plan to develop it as a tpn au anymore but a original story so besides the few ideas I shared, it will still stay in the drawer TT

Long answer: I have. Feelings. About how language is treated in fantasy. Like “this race has their Own language” despite living in vastly different areas of the same world. Like. Humans having their Own language. Elves having their Own language. Elves, orcs, etc etc. Its not Bad but its definitely like A Thing that pokes at my sides a little lol.

Humans have hundreds of spoken and visual languages! Id like to imagine that in a world with other races, they would have their own variety of spoken language 😊 So yes; Gus does speak in his own native tongue. And he has absolutely badmouthed someone who got on his nerves without them realizing it lol
