Shoutout to those who have had to go through things no one should as kids/adolescents due to their mental illness(es).
BUT ALSO:
Shoutout to those who developed their mental illness(es) after their tween/teen years and had to learn to adjust to life with mental illness.
ADDITIONALLY:
Lots of love to all with mental illness who had to adjust without much or any support from others/those you love(d).
END NOTE:
Mental illness is hard enough on its own, but these conditions can make it so much more difficult.
You’re worthy and deserving of love, support, and respect even if you haven’t been receiving it.

ive been smoking more & i want to talk abt the effects its had on my psychosis
my regular unreality triggers dont really work. but, really random things can trigger me instead
extremely prone to paranoid thinking & OCD urges
i have literally developed a completely new delusion, which at first i thought only affected me while high. i was wrong its an all the time one
my companions dont talk to me more or clearer, but its easier to overcome my shame in talking back to them verbally (even if someone else is in the room)
i can get very bad species dysphoria very quickly. mostly species dysphoria of a werewolf body, not a dog body
my misc/non-companion voices are louder. usually they make up jokes or repeat jokes, which isnt so bad for me
i dont have physical hallucinations often, but when i do, theyre more painful or disruptive and its harder to make them go away
i sleep so easy. no voices, no urges, no hallucinations, no anxiety, just puppy snooze time
i dont know if i'd say i have drug-induced psychosis because of all of this? my symptoms dont really get worse theyre just kinda changing. im unsure what the concensus on smoking weed is from other psychotics

I had to recieve impatient mental health treatment, again.
If you’ve been my follower or friend for a while you know I’ve been vocal about my mental health struggles. In January I was hospitalized for a week after being in mania induced psychosis for a week before intervention.
This treatment center ignored my cries for them to consider my diagnosis from 2021, schizoaffective bipolar disorder. Alas, I was labeled as “substance induced mood disorder” by a nurse on a sticky note before being discharged with no diagnosis.
Unfortunately, I just had to go into treatment for another week at a different facility. My family was able to intervene promptly to me slipping entirely from reality. I requested to go to the facility that gave me that diagnosis and it was accompanied.
The ER staff were the sweetest ladies I have ever had as a 1 on 1. They called me their little contortionist and rubbed my declared “glass bones” to relieve tension from my body. Something I struggle with the most when I’m in that state of mind is my medical persecute delusions. I’ll share my entire story in a video sometime.
It’s been hard to accept being schizophrenic.
But now, I know what I’m dealing with and am now on the proper medication regimen to manage and excel in my life. I’m sad I missed my streamerversay due to my hospitalization but I’ll be back soon. Just gotta caught up in school first.
Love you all.
Fun projects are coming and continuing 🫡

Fnaf system reboot au
The glitchtrap virus
Explanation: information on what the glitchtrap virus is and how it works and what effects it has. (Reminder: since this is a au certain things will be changed in order to make sense here).
Base: The G-T virus: the glitchtrap virus is a supernatural computer virus that can not only affect electronics and machinery but can even infect people and other living things, the virus originates from the anomaly know as glitchtrap himself for it is the source of his power. When the G-T virus effects any form of technology it gives glitchtrap complete access and control to said technology, however the virus affecting living things is a completely different book, when a human or any living thing is infected they can experience a number of different effects.
List of effects the virus has on living creatures (specifically humans).
1. Strong headaches
2. Vivid/vague nightmares
3. Insomnia
4. Hallucinations/delusions
5. Memory loss
6. Mood swings
7. Personality disorders
8. Obsessive behavior
9. Aggressive/violent behavior
10. Emotional numbness/detachment
11. Negative/Toxic aspects increase
12. Insanity inducement (psychosis/mental instability)
13. Psychological breakdown
14. Fatigue
15. Body aches/pain (physical pain)
16. Illnesses/sickness (weakening immune system)
17. Internal bleeding (eyes/ears/mouth/nose)
18. Purple irises/black sclera/black cracky veins
19. Purple/black veins
20. Purple/black sludge leakage (eyes/ears/mouth/nose)
21. Virus mutations
22. Purple/black mold substance (bits only)
23. Death
24. Bad brain functions
Mutations: when the virus stays inside a living person long enough it can cause mutations in a person’s biology which will either kill or alter the victims body, the person will begin leaking purple/black sludge (the same kind that the rabbit amalgamation monster in princess quest looks to be made of) from their eyes, ears, mouth and nose and will most likely be turned into said sludge that glitchtrap can then absorb and use for his physical animatronic form, for bots when infected long enough they will become withered and cracky and begin growing a purple/black mold like substance over their body’s (its description is like the toxic ar skins in special delivery) until it eventually spreads all over and either destroys the animatronic or completely take over.
Hive-mind: when living creatures are infected by the virus it’s possible for their psyches to become linked in a digital collective consciousness that slowly drives them crazy.
Cure: the only way to cure someone from the virus is destroy the source of the virus or to strengthen your mental and emotional health, once a person is cured/freed from the virus they can no longer be infected again.
Extra: there are certain individuals who cannot Be infected either due to having strong mental power or something else, also the only way to interact with the glitchtrap virus and control it (to an extent) is with a class V technician VANNI mask and a fazwrench, if a person tries to reject and resist the glitchtrap virus they can retain some control over themselves, but if a person gives into the virus they become a completely different person and become obsessed with glitchtrap.

gwyneira eunha jeon is born on christmas eve in swansea, wales. her father is the ceo of jeon industries, a renowned south korean biomedical and pharmaceutical company whilst her mother, jeon ceri, is a former prima ballerina and the artistic director for the national ballet in wales.
eira is born with underlying heart issues as a result of being premature, her birth leaving both her and her mother in a critical state. just as eira is scheduled to undergo invasive heart surgery, she seems to be miraculously cured in the early mornings of christmas day. such joy and relief are short lived as not long after, eira's mother passes away due to complications from the birth.
as a result of the circumstances of her birth her family, as she grows up, is incredibly protective of her. she is handed the world on a silver platter, never needing nor wanting for anything a day in her life. whilst her father's business is involved in some shady and rather unethical practices within the medical world, hidden well by their mass fortunes, eira is kept strictly out of it and sheltered from such harsh realities. her two older brothers assume the helm of her father's heirs, leaving eira to fall into the one place left for her — her mother's element.
she had a natural talent for ballet that was evident from youth, having been placed into ballet lessons at a young age. at four years old, when the family of three relocated to south korea, eira begins to find her place in the world of dance. what starts off as a hobby evidently reveals that eira could never escape her mother's legacy, not that she wants to. the stage is predestined for her, as her prodigious talent seems to speak for itself. as soon as she had been able to walk she had only wanted to dance and before she'd ever even spoken a word, her language had been that of ballet.
she advances quickly in her studies of the ballet world with the ease of someone both massively talented but also well connected. it is in highschool when she her love for dance becomes more deeply ingrained into her soul and her obsession with ballet takes root. in a world she can't control, it is the precision and demanded perfection of her art that she seems to be the ruler of on her own. thus, dance becomes the very essence of her life and she begins to lose sleep over it. her relationships and friendship crumble under the weight of addiction to her soaring career.
until she loses control. not even eighteen and she'd already lost that sense of power over dance that she once adored. she had allowed this dedication to her craft to consume her. but she doesn’t stop, doesn’t really know how to and so she continues to spiral deeper into the void. having been granted admission into the korean national ballet in her highschool days, rising from the ranks of the corps de ballet to grand soloist within her first few years, she is pushed to her limit in order to be perfect for the stage yet she begins to struggle with her own mental and physical health. ballet being her sole driving force was sucking the life out of her and the compulsive need to dance consumes her days and then her nights until it culminates in stifling paranoia, insomnia and hallucinations from her lack of sleep. she became detached from both reality and the people around her entirely.
in an attempt to regain control, she turns to the one thing her family warded her away from. her connections to biomedical field meant obtaining the necessary prescriptions for her anxiety medication and tranquilisers were simple. the allowed her to forget her struggles if only for a small amount of time and allow her to continue shining on the stage as she had always done. she traded all that was left of her self-control and sanity for slivers of happiness but it soon becomes more of an addiction than a mere escape.
during the last act of her swan lake performance with the korean national ballet, as she in on the verge of a promotion to the companies most elite title, her substance abuse almost causes a crippling scandal. she completes her show brilliantly, one that would go down in history as possibly her greatest performance but when the curtain draws, eira loses consciousness and is rushed to the hospital. after three days comotose, she awakens to an ultimatum from the company; six months of rehabilitation and psychotherapy and then she is to be sent to her mother's alma mater to complete an accelerated dance degree, allowing herself to recuperate. upon completely the degree in the minimum of two and half a years, she will be allowed to rejoin the company and take her place as a prima ballerina and principal dancer. all knowledge of her scandal is discretely brushed under the rug with the help of her family's money and connections.
after completely her required rehab, she begins at daskalos university in the 2023-2024 school year, majoring in dance. she is inducted soon after she settles in under the tutelage of professor avila, welcomed into the dionysia as their cassandra.

Things I’ve Learned as a Disabled Person
[Text without formatting: “Things I’ve Learned as a Disabled Person]
You did not commit a crime simply by being mentally ill or disabled!
You are not wasting anyone’s time or energy by simply existing as a mentally ill or disabled individual!
Please surround yourselves with love, support, and positivity whenever you find the opportunity!
You deserve compassion regardless of your symptoms or experiences!
You are not a monster or an abuser for being disabled or mentally ill!
You can and will find people who love and understand you, or at least try to understand to the best of their ability.
You can and will find people who support you, regardless of what that support looks like!
You do not have to need the same types of support as others. As long as you do what is best for you, that’s all that matters.
At the same time, it’s okay to need accommodations, no matter the type!
You can always work towards coexisting with others, and I hope that you will be surrounded by those who do the same for you!
You do not have to stretch yourself thin and overextend yourself to make others happy!
It’s okay to advocate for yourself! And, if you cannot do this because of your mental illness or disability, it’s okay to allow someone with your best interest in mind to advocate for you!
While you don’t need to force it (and it probably helps more not to force it), please hold onto the hope that things will not always be at their worst!
If it helps you and isn’t hurting anyone, it is nothing to be ashamed of!
Finding support is huge! It doesn’t have to be folks in your immediate area, online support is acceptable as well! What matters is that we are uplifting and supporting each other and ourselves.
There are so many things I’ve learned as a disabled person. I hope to learn many more
Please feel free to share what you’ve learned as well, or please share if you found any of this helpful! /not forced

tbh it amazes me the sheer extent that the western mind-body dualism idea has been taken and its reproductions, even while its being critiqued
the whole academic language around ""bodies"" is just one particularly annoying and debumanizing example. but its absolutely willlldddd to me that even while we say that mind-body dualism has had a series of negative consequences for western medicine, were Still pushing for it
the fact that weve gotten to the point where saying "your body affects who you are" and "you are your body" is ""biological determinism"" or ""biological essentialism"" is bloody insane it really is. people just throw words around like nothing
denying that you are your body or that your body affects who you are as a person is entirely ruptured from reality. if you have a disorder which impacts the physical structure of your brain, this will 100% affect you, because you are your brain and body. ptsd has visible affects on the structure of the brain, depression does, dissociative disorders can be seen in which parts of the brain are turned on or off. people with psychopathy are shown to have different brain structures to an extent. if you get a disease which degenerates your brain neurons, the connections, or your brain matter this will absolutely impact who you are and may lead to memory loss, drastic personality chance, agression, and a series of other things. if you get a brain tumor, a traumatic brain injury, or have parts of your brain removed this has been shown time and time again to have at times radical affects on who people are, their personalities, their emotions, how they process and handle things. a lobotomy shows quite damn well that your body affects who you are
,,,,, not even just the brain??? disregulatities in gut bacteria have been shown to lead to depression, which surely impacts behavior emotion and how you see the world and react. autoimmune diseases can attack the brain and lead to psychosis or other states. hornomal imbalances absolutely have an effect on the brain and body, because we are absolutely affected by our hormomes. women who have had hysterectomies, women who have gone through menapause medical or natural certainly know this, many women especially women with ptos and pmdd can certainly testify that ovulation and periods can lead to drastic emotional and personality chances such as suddenly suicidality, irritability, hypersensitivity, anger, deep sadness and depression etc, while the effects of cross-sex hormones on transexual individuals also show chances in behavior, emotion, and processing. it is known too if someone has hormone imbalances this can lead to behavior such as being more emotional, more agressive, or a series of other things. we know this to be true in other animals, and we are just. other animals too
even beyond that for gods sake. there have been several interesting cases of peoples personalities and interests changing after organ transplants to be closer to those of the person the transplant came from, despite them not knowing of the person previously - perhaps we will soon get that conciousness exists not only in the brain, but throughout the body in some way. it has also been shown that things such as religious feelings and out of body experiences can be reliably induced medically throughout the manipulation of hormonal and chemical levels in the body, as well as activations of certain parts of the brain. psychadelics are substances which are physically ingested and while they alter our minds and perhaps spirit, they are doing so by very much physically, bodily affecting our brains, the connections in them and what chemicals get released.
to simply deny that the body has an affect on who we are is Absurd, it is the peak of western mind-body duality which has had so many negative medical consequences, and its just leading apart from stupid adacemic disorder, to this ongoing thing with people deadass thinking they can do just about anything to their bodies (themselves) without impacting their psyche (also themselves)
perhaps souls exist, and perhaps spirit exists too. surely. but in this mortal realm, they are intimately bound and tied and processes theough the physical body, and anyway most spiritual and religious beliefs understand this

Wanted to firstly state that this is a genuine question! And I'm very sorry if it's ignorant, it's not my intention if it somehow offends.
But what is necessarily the difference between psychosis and schizophrenia? I'm starting to fear I may have some mild version of the former and maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but can't find much info on their difference?
psychosis:
a group of [4 main] symptoms related to many disorders
not a diagnosis
schizophrenia:
a diagnosis
schizophrenia is the presence of 2 or more symptoms of psychosis for a certain period of time
if you have a "mild" version of psychosis, consider looking into:
delusional disorder
brief psychosis
schizophrenia prodrome (usually there are no positive symptoms present but this changes at some point when it turns into schizophrenia)
disorders with psychotic features
substance induced psychosis (if it applies to you)

amazing how my brother can still type coherently with all those trauma and morphine induced delusions isnt it shezza im so proud of him
My theory is that he suffered brain damage due to the overdose and is now experiencing a drug-induced psychosis which is worsened by the the stress caused by Azben and the occurences of last week, and also by the currently administered medications like the morphine. Not everyone can deal as well with psychoactive substances like us two.

Is Enmu's interest in herbalism and incense something he just enjoys practicing for himself, or does he take enjoyment in sharing whatever he makes with humans? Does he gain any emotional benefit when it comes to making things, whether he shares it or not?
Tumblr media
Enmu's interest in herbalism stems from a genuine interest in the material itself. He makes it for humans (and demons) upon request, it's a decent way to bring in some extra cash flow.
■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■
As far as emotional fulfillment goes, it keeps him busy during the daylight hours. If he comes across a new material, he'll spend days researching how different forms of it can affect others. Brewing into a tea, drying and then smoking it, grinding it into powder to be used in pills or incense, using it as an ingredient in the ointment, and combining it with other herbs; each are methods to experiment and find the best use of that ingredient's natural potential. For better, or for worse~ That said, he gets the most excitement from humans using his products if it's an experimental blend. Typically, those are always meant to cause secondary effects besides the intended purposes of the herbs. These are usually psychoactive, mind-numbing, rapidly induce sleep, and even psychosis or delirium.. he's seen people go into a trance-like state over some extremely potent ones.
For the sake of honing his craft, and ensuring that he can actually continue to do the process correctly, Enmu makes normal blends too that don't do anything beyond their intent to help a client. Have to keep up appearances you know~
■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■
It's thanks to his Father's profession that he was introduced early to the concept of medicine. The ability to alter the human body and mind with substances many others saw as commonplace. Herbs, minerals, blossoms, even specific parts of animals... all when processed correctly could cause change. Once he got his hands on some old Chinese medical texts that acted as a guide to what many plants and herbs were able to do in specific applications, he wanted to know how far their applications could be pushed. This was further driven when he noticed that monks used incense at times to help them attain a deeper state of meditation or even alter mindsets to elevate an experience. It fascinated him, and his parents supported it for the sake of wanting to see their son become someone who could use nature to heal those in need. It was something beautiful for them to see, even if they were ignorant of the true purpose of their son's practice.
It all worked to his advantage in the end, as herbalism and apothecary ended up being a way to aid Muzan with research and his search for the blue spider lily.

I examined my compound and it absolutely was in fact 3-MMC. This was my first time seeking this material and I fell madly in appreciate with it, It truly is just like the son between cocaine and mdma, I rank it Among the many very best substances I have ever tried using.
The purity of 3 MMC can be quite various after you obtain from other webshops or merchants. In lots of circumstances, The three MMC has been cut with other products, which may lead to risky predicaments when conducting your investigate.

it's got attained notoriety for its connected inclination to induce compulsive redosing and addictive behaviors within a seemingly significant proportion of its buyers too a chance to easily induce paranoid, stress, numerous delusional states and stimulant psychosis when taken far too often, in abnormal quantities, or more than prolonged amounts of time.
3-MMC has two methyl substitutions on its cathinone skeleton, one particular at R3 in the phenyl ring, and a 2nd within the nitrogen team RN. three-MMC is analogous to mephedrone; it's equivalent in construction anticipate for the placement in the methyl group at R3 rather than R4.

I originally posted this last year, prior to Ohio's vote about legalizing marijuana, even though lawmakers have since tried to modify it. But given the recent possibility that the DEA will reclassify marijuana at a federal level, there's been a bunch of scaremongering going on with the usual suspects, calling marijuana a "dangerous drug" and saying (at least according to this chiron) that the Biden administration wants us "numb and dumb". NOTE: I do not address below the racist origins of marijuana prohibition; Business Insider does a fine job of that. A discussion occurred on NextDoor when I posted my thoughts about Ohio's marijuana legalization on that site. The short form of my position is this: If you think alcohol should be legal, then you have no reason to oppose marijuana legalization. Some of the concerns were spurious (if you have legal dispensaries, they aren't going to be illegally tainting their product), some were legitimate but not quite relevant (mostly about the smell, which I understand, but we currently have legislation about smoking other substances, and edibles, salves, etc have no smell). But there were some concerns that needed a bit more context and discussion. So I started doing a literature review to answer those questions and concerns as honestly and factually as I could. Read on for what I found. First was a concern about heart disease. And there is something there... sort of. There are some studies that show there seems to be a correlation between high levels of cannabis use and increased risk of cardiovascular disease. However, the researchers did not (or could not in the case of the meta-studies) distinguish between forms of use (although they did separate by gender, which tells me they forgot to ask about types of use). Given there is a strong correlation between smoked tobacco and CVD, I would hope there is research teasing out the difference. I strongly suspect that someone who only uses gummies would not have the same (elevated) risk. Alcohol, it should be noted, ALSO is associated with an elevated risk of cardiovascular disease, so again, my original statement that one should not treat cannabis as "worse" than alcohol stands. The physical negative health effects of alcohol are thoroughly studied, with the WHO recently noting that no level of alcohol consumption is actually safe (let alone "good") for our health. Given the increase in alcohol use since the beginning of the pandemic, this perhaps should be a greater concern from a societal point of view. There are also concerns about mental health disorders and cannabis use. A study often cited by anti-cannabis folks is saying is that for those at risk of schizophrenia, it's more likely to be associated with an elevated risk (again, separated by gender). The study does not make any claims about causing disorders among those who are not already at risk to develop the condition. Other research questions the causal link, and notes that it may be more correlational. However, a good point is raised. Other research illustrates that cannabis -- like any drug or medicine or substance we take into our bodies -- has a different impact on people with different pre-existing mental health conditions. For some, it was helpful, for others, remarkably less so. But we should not ignore that alcohol-induced psychosis is also a real thing. There are also studies clearly linking alcohol use to increased dementia risk. Finally, concerns about cannabis use increasing the use of other, "harder" drugs seem to be completely off-base. In real-world observations, the legalization of recreational marijuana did not increase opioid usage, and in fact, decreased it. No substance we take into our bodies is always good or always bad. The same substance may be good for one person, and very bad for another. That goes for alcohol, marijuana, and even for carbs. In response to another person I looked up actual research about crime rates and marijuana legalization:
It took me literally seconds to find an academic study noting that violent crime in Oregon, as well as use of other drugs, decreased after legalization, one showing no effect (either way) noted in Washington or Colorado, another showing a reduction of violent crime in all states with legalization, and this one, which, well, I'll just quote it: "The results imply that an additional dispensary in a neighborhood leads to a reduction of 17 crimes per month per 10,000 residents, which corresponds to roughly a 19 percent decline relative to the average crime rate over the sample period. Reductions in crime are highly localized, with no evidence of spillover benefits to adjacent neighborhoods." That's right, having a dispensary made the neighborhood immediately around it safer. Make your decisions based on facts, rather than fearmongering. Featured Image by cytis from Pixabay
