The Cursed Solider and The Left-Behind Gonji

Recently, I saw some art by @shinyzango for her fantastic story concept called The Last Nutcracker, which led me to quite a rabbit hole of looking through other Nutcracker Ocs and their story, which greatly interested me, so I decided to join in and create my own. Overall, it is about a young mouse folk named Polaris who journeys with a cursed Nutcracker named Pyotr Drosselmeyer to find her mother to break the Nutcracker’s curse and reunite with her clan.

I would describe their relationship as an older protective brother and a younger, timid sister.

There’s a character in the books called Nathan Nutcracker and I wanted to make a design for him because I think Cedar deserves a friend who can relate to her
