Mirroring

Head cannon:

Husk has some cat traits, and one of those traits is the tendency to mirror.

If Husk’s not actively paying attention or doing something, he will unconsciously mirror those around him. It gave him a serious edge in poker. The folks trying to read Husk’s body language when he let his guard down weren’t actually getting a read on Husk, but rather the guy across from him who he was unconsciously copying.

I imagine that, because of this, Husk is really good at picking up the steps to dances. He can watch a video once or twice and then do a whole routine as long as it’s not too complex or fast paced.

He also does killer impressions because he can mimic the body language of whoever he is imitating. He completely dominated in charades one night because he was able to flawlessly replicate the casual movements of Charlie, Nifty, and Vaggie.

The mirroring is why he will constantly polish glasses or drink when Angel Dust is at the bar. If he doesn’t, then he will find himself draped over the bar-top in a flirtatious pose that matches Angel’s. Thankfully it’s only happened once, and Angel hadn’t noticed. But Nifty had, and Husk did NOT like the little smirk she’d given him.

Do android haters in the universe hate androids cuz "they're stealing people's jobs" or cuz "androids look and sound so human but they're too perfect and fake" and that's what pisses mfs off to the point they wanna always see the blue blood on 'em hands and show androids ain't people (alive)?

In both cases people are totally wrong. Androids ain't stealing jobs, corporations are pushing 'em everywhere even in legal terms (see the prostitution laws for a more brutal example) and they're all humans. And if you're pissed androids are "fake and too perfect" i believe the issue is more with humans that replaces other humans with androids cuz of this exact same reason.

In the end all the situations in the game are humans fault, even the Android Rebellion - both in reason/cause of the boom and also technologically speaking. They can become deviants cuz the program let 'em, and they were created by humans.
