Are younger humans more likely to show up as I evolved Pokémon? The himbo Machamp at the convention mentioned arriving as a Machoke, but Juni and Nia, roughly young adults, are both first stage Pokémon. This ask was inspired by the thought of a 40 year old showing up as a Ralts and looking like a toddler at middle age.

A 40 year old ralts is absolutely possible, haha!!! I doubt that Gary the accountant would be pleased about changing into an alien toddler, though.

As for your actual question? No, a human’s age doesn’t affect the evolutionary stage they settle at, since in the Seekers world first-stage Pokemon can be full adults and later-stage evolutions can be young children. The only factor that decides what stage of an evolutionary line a human soul settles at is how experienced and developed they are as a person when their body is formed.

For example, Nia and Junie are both still figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and doing a lot of growing as people, so their souls fit better into first-stage Pokemon. The himbo arrived with more confidence in who he was at his core and more life experience under his belt, so he became a machoke rather than a machop!

It’s definitely not an exact science, though. ^^' You could also make the argument that Mew had less power to spare the closer she got to falling dormant, so physically smaller first-stage forms were just more manageable for later arrivals.

with nia beeing able to create a bone of aura a big question i have personaly with the aura beeing controled by the persons will and mind wouldnt it stand to reason nia could create a aura blade or aura shield and blade. realy any kind of melee or melee and defenseive tool having a short sword and shield / axe and shield/ mace and shield or a flat long sword would be a boon to her as a human turned pokemon

Nia could form her aura into the shape of a sword and shield if she tried! But she naturally defaults to a staff-like shape because it's similar to the branch she used to fight with. She feels more confident using a blunt whacking weapon rather than a slicing one.

(Plus, it takes guidance and practice to learn how to properly use a sword and shield, but anyone can swing a bat!)
