2: First Impressions

Super intriguing!! I love horror games and the vibe was immaculate and also the game seemed really fun!! ‘m not great at deck building games by any means but it just seemed super fun and had ✨strategy✨ but also ✨luck✨ in the strategy

16: How Did I Build My Deck?

I watched my partner play, so I didn’t fully build a deck, but I had a lot of input on it haha. Unfortunately we picked Magnificus’ deck to start with and Magnificus’ deck is ASS so we were kinda stuck with shitty cards for both Leshy and Grimora’s areas. Eventually we agreed the best decks seemed to be Bones and Blood (although I feel technology has a lot of great uses and would personally go for a Bones and Tech deck)

20: My Reaction to Act 3

actual shrieking. i am in no way kidding when i tell you it was ear piercing. i was so Suddenly and Overwhelmingly excited to see this Smug Fucker appear in 3D. At first because AAAAA OH MY GOD MORE GAME but.... this was also the moment i realized “ oh. oh no.” JAHXKXHAJ ,,,, i had fallen for the robot over the course of the other acts without even REALIZING it sjxjgcjsgqv,, and when it appeared i was so excited and enamored with it i let it out in excited shrieking. NO p03 i am NOT done gawking

I spoke a little about Camellia in the last ask, but I’ll go a little more in depth here! Cami (she/they) is a clown that was slowly corrupted by the Ö̵̡̩͚̬̪̘̞̯̹̺͎̣̳͎͓̝̝͔̥͚̙͚́̏͜ͅĻ̴̝͓̠̰̤̬͇̠͎̮͉̪̱͖̇͆͐̏̑̆̒̍̂̎̓͛͛̀͑̾͠ͅD̵̨̨̨͎̖̩̫̱͍͚͙̠͕͔̩͙͇͆ ̶̧̨̛̭̰̟̼̘͚̻̠͔͍͔̜̰̻͙̱̗̏̐͑̀̆̀̄́͂̽̄̓͒̃͜͜͠D̴̮̗̠̝̗̯̞̝͙̗̥͚̀̅̊̒̌͊̽̈́͝Ā̷̡̨͇̜̜̩͕̤͕̜̖͓̲̖̳̞͐̏̀͒̔̊͒̉͛̈́͘ͅT̸̢̛̛͍͉̘̮̟͕̮̗̟͚̻͈̅́̾́̔͊͌͒̽̐̋̍̄̓̀̓̑̉̑́̾̕̕͜Â̵̡̧̨̡̨̛͓̠̳͔̼̥̲̭̱͇̲͓͍̲͖͎͂͜ͅ and became the Unhinged Being of Fun and Entertainment. She’s just around for a good time, and will go to great lengths to ensure that. They take standoffish personalities as a challenge to try to get them to smile, and isn’t afraid to push and prod to achieve that.

36: More About Cami!

I haven’t 100% figured out a mechanic for her cards yet, so that’s still on the table for me to figure out 😅 She acts like an annoying sibling to everyone else and loves pulling pranks on them (“redecorating” magnificus’ tower, trying to steal the skeleton’s bones when they’re not looking, Very Obviously stalking leshy and trying to snap photos of him like he’s a cryptid, replacing p03’s machine line with balloon animals, etc). They live in a carnival themed area that looks heavily Little Nightmares inspired (long, impossible architecture/giant twisting tents and ropes and curtains that reach up into the suspiciously impossible to see sky/a tent that is waayyy bigger on the inside than the outside) Her underlings are her Freakshow Carnival troupe! (Nothing really fleshed out yet here either, however a user in the Daniel Mullens discord server gave me the wonderful idea to include a trapeze artist as her “dataminer”, like the other scrybes have. They have their waist secured and dive into the depths in hopes of retrieving what their ringmaster is after.)

So Billie Eilish, a recording artist who makes millions with her creative work, has teamed up with Adobe, a multi-billion company, to bring us a contest where artists make merch designs for her for free, and only the winner gets paid. Sorry, a “prize”. And part of the “prize” is exposure.

Oh, and if you submit an entry, whether you win or not, you give them the right to use your work.

Contests like this are a scam. They’re exploitative. Always. They’re a way to get people to do work for free, and only pay the “winner”.

Billie Eilish makes music. She is a creative professional herself who makes money, a lot of money, with her art. She can afford to pay an artist to design her tour shirt. Adobe can afford to pay artists to do design work.

If she wants to give fans the opportunity to work for her - just invite portfolio submissions. Let artists send you work they’ve already done, pick one whose style you like, and hire them to make a design for you. Easy.

This, though? This is trying to use her fame to get people to work for her for free. This is trying to exploit her fans. Note how the key selling point they picked for the tweet isn’t the cash prize, it’s the exposure. This entire thing is based on the hope that people will be so excited to have their work officially featured by Billie Eilish that they’ll work for free just for the chance.

Don’t enter “art contests” like this. It’s not a contest, it’s a scam.
