The question came of what would it be like if the Underlust monsters found themselves on the surface, and faced with the power of the humans were pushed into slavery. While a few tropes we expect from a slave story will be present, collars, submission, non con or dub con elements, there will be a few things that you might not expect. While I have this tagged as a reader insert fic, the reader portion is due to some of the POV being done in second person. The MC is both the reader and an original character with her own personality and background, she has flaws, she has character, and she is a person on her own with a name. Be warned. Sandera Huges is the heiress of a wealthy family, she uses her unique position to attempt to campaign for monster freedom as they come up from the mountain, sadly things don’t go according to plan and she has to change her tactics to find a way to give the monsters what they deserve after what humans have done to them.
