Omg really? I haven't finished it yet but I'm loving it! It has some killer scenes and it's got a totally different vibe from GG (which I adore but because it's fluff). I've legit studied TV and I think some stuff Ginny and Georgia does is so cooool for example the Halloween episode where they use all the horror techniques - so much fun!

Ok, im thinking, maybe i just genuinely dont know what constitutes as good tv. like, after watching ginny and georgia, i hopped on social media to hear other people’s opinions about it, and i was pretty surprised at how many people thought it was bad? there are some valid criticisms of the show for sure (especially of that one scene with ginny and hunter), but a lot of the criticisms im seeing is calling the show bland or boring or a copy of gilmore girls. and i just don’t see that at all? i thought that beyond the obvious young mother/ teen daughter combo, it didnt really have that much in common with gilmore girls at all. both in tone, story and setting, i thought it was completely different. and a very entertaining and enjoyable show (personally i even thought it was better than gilmore girls with infinitely more likeable characters, but i digress), but im seeing so much criticism that maybe i just missed the bad things? idk.

Riiiight? Like I know, from the character, what they’re gonna do, and I have to write it that way. Nothing else makes sense. 

Sometimes my non-writer friends who don’t understand it at all are like “you’re literally writing these characters. You can make them do whatever you want.” And I’m just over here like “uh, no. If anything they control me.”
