For some reason for the last few days I haven’t been able to stop thinking about our struggles that we all face everyday. On the 22 (Sunday) my pastor was talking about struggles and how our struggles and hardships can bring us closer to God and help us build a more intimate relationship with Him. Along with struggles, he talked about how “true freedom” isn’t not having to follow rules, but following in our Fathers Grace. I spent so much time thinking about this. Really turning it over in my head and wondering if I’ve noticed a difference in feeling freedom when coming to God for guidance. God will never punish us. He wants us to follow Him and find Him and his everlasting love. He’s such a forgiving Father and we are so lucky to have him. With this in mind, please, follow in prayer with me: Father, I thank you for everything You have sent to me. My struggles and hardships, my accomplishments and successes are all your doing. God, you are so good, always. You have given me the blessing to hear you and feel you in my heart. God I’m in a constant state of awe knowing I have your love on my side. Father, I thank you for everything. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. Have a blessed day, Flower~ -Annie

We sometimes forget to pray or our prayers are only what we expect from God. So, pray.. and thank God for everything he has done for us. His blessings are generous and His heart is good. You may follow me in prayer if you’d like with this : God, help me want to know you more. Protect me and my heart from the laziness I can fall into. God, protect me from the over-confidence that I may feel. Father, open my mind and heart to your words. In Jesus’ name. I pray. Amen. Have a blessed day, Flower~ -Annie

Since the week is almost over and I wouldn’t want to start the Week of Devotionals I’ll just be talking to you for the next few days whenever I feel the want or need to blog!
I realized not many of you know me so I was going to tell you a little bit about me :)
To start off, my name is Anne (or Annie). No, it’s not my real name, but it does mean a lot to me. I’m 19 and living in Canada still living with my parents and studying in University. My journey to my faith has been a bumpy road, but God has sacrificed so much and more just for me, so I don’t see why I shouldn’t dedicate mine to Him. I’ve had many struggles in my life, personal and with relationships, but through it all, I’ve always come back to God.
I really hope y’all join me on this journey with God and closer to our Father.
Please feel completely open to message me, comment, follow, or like anything!
Have a blessed day, Flower~
-Annie

Last night I had worship for young adult and Highschool students (I was Young Adult) and the whole time the host kept on reminding us to open our hearts, but not only our hearts our minds as well to the Holy Spirit. When I was kneeling there and praying to Jesus to help me receive the Holy Spirit a name came into my head. I won’t share his name, but all I could do is pray for this young boy I knew through a friend. So, as the week is over (and I’ll start fresh this coming Sunday) I want you to dedicate your prayer to someone. Someone who’s new to their faith, struggling with something, or even ask God to guide you and teach you how to help them. If you’d like use this prayer to remind you of what our Father has done for us: — Father in Heaven, please help me to know you and grow to know you as the generous, wonderful, merciful, and loving Creator God that You are. Help me trust You in what You tell me so You can work miracles in my and the lives of my loved ones. In Jesus’ name. Amen. —

So, basically to connect closer to God I want to start doing Daily Devotionals, but as I know that can get boring and very, very repetitive, so I’ve decided to plan a recurring weeks worth of activities. On Monday I’ll give four songs (or more if I find more that I would want to share) for you to listen to and maybe help guide you during the week. On Tuesday I’ll recommend we pray in the morning. No set time, no waking up earlier than usual. Pray when you wake up before checking your phone or hopping in the shower. On Wednesday I will do “Talk About Him” I will post a podcast, Video, or article concerning our faith and our Father! To discuss, reflect on, and share. On Thursday I will do a morning devotional! Set your alarm earlier than need be and spend 30 minutes with God. (I will provide a verse from the bible and a question to reflect on relating to the verse/story) On Friday will be an evening devotional. Start your day with a morning prayer and end it with a verse, question, and story I give you. On Saturday “Do It With Love” I will give you a task! like, read an article about God and share it with me or a friend. Compliment someone on the street! Or, instead of asking God for something, maybe this time just thank Him for everything  He’s done for you! On Sunday we go to church! after church or whenever you get a moment alone review what was said by your pastor! (I sometimes take notes during the sermons so I can reflect on them later) ps: I will be providing what my pastor talked about for those who aren’t able to attend church! Hope to have you join me on my spiritual journey with God :)
