PART THREE
Post Azkaban Sirius Black x Reader Older Sirius Word Count: 1700+
Warning: Mature themes, eventual smut
Disclaimer: all characters are assumed 18+
FINALLY! I got it together. Biggest apologies for the delay darling readers. BUT, part three is here! A little deviation from my normal writing style. I’ve been reading a few POV character stories lately and I thought I’d give it a go. Please let me know what you think. This one is directly Sirius’ POV.
————————————————————————————————
Sirus’s POV
Sitting in the parlour room of Grimmauld Place with Rita Skeeter is almost ALMOST as bad as Azkaban.
The only thing making it palatable is having Y/N here.
When I saw her in her animagus form- that great leopard - I nearly jumped out of my own skin. “Some sort of cat” - she’s cheeky that’s for sure.
She’s magnificent also. Currently, she is flicking her large tail against the carpet as she lies by the fire, her back to us.
My lips twitch in a smile as I hear her low growl at Rita’s words. God. Fuck. Rita. She’s a nightmare. If it wasn’t so imperative we figure out which side she swings for, I would have declined her invitations. Though thinking about it, if it weren’t for Rita I would never have found out about Y/N’s animagus, so I guess this situation does have some upsides.
“
And I remember when we first met. Don’t you Sirius?”
With my gaze on Y/N, It takes me a second to register Rita is waiting for my response.
“I do, you had said you were needing to unburden yourself with delicate intel on the current state of war.”
Rita looks taken aback at this. Good. Let’s get past the nauseating simpering and wrap up this mission. I notice, looking into her eyes, she seems frightened. The usual false bravado and arrogance are missing. Interesting. Might we be getting somewhere, finally?
“Oh..ohhh Sirius I’m sure you wanted to unburden yourself on me just the same.”
Rita has this sickly purr in her throat when she is trying to be sultry. It makes my balls jump back into my body and the hairs stand up on my neck.
I nod a noncommittal “Mmm.”
Merlin CHRIST! How long do I have to listen to this? I can’t help the visible anger that is appearing on my face, and if she notices how far back across the couch I have moved I’m going to wreck our rapport. Biting the inside of my cheek I cross one ankle over my knee and lean as far back onto the side of the couch as I can without seeming rude. A few practised “mmhms” and head nods seem to be doing the trick. I smile to myself as I remember the last time I used these tactics
Sitting in History of Magic class listening to Professor Binns drone on and on about Goblin Wars. (Though, admittedly though were fairly interesting). Who knew this tactic would come in so handy in adulthood? Of course, then I was usually thinking of my latest crush. Lustful, dirty thoughts helped whittle away the tedious hours spent in the classroom by imagining tangled limbs in a broom closet. Swollen lips bulging hot and wet, delicate hands grabbing my shoulders in a vice-like grip, while smooth legs wrapped around my waist. The only downside of this distraction was a rather obvious bulge in my pants - hidden by a desk in History of Magic, but too easily spotted and mistaken for the wrong intent here with Rita. She would assume a boner was her doing and not know I was thinking about someone else.
My eyes wander over to Y/N. She has shifted slightly since I last gazed at her. Instead of lying on her side, she is now curled flat on her tummy, one ear cocked to the window. Rita must be boring her as much as me.
I harumph audibly at this, but luckily it goes unnoticed by Rita. Y/N has never been good at paying attention. Not that I mind, it gives me ample amount of time to look at her without her noticing and avoid as much s I can of Rita’s dull conversation.
Now, meeting Y/N  for the first time is a conversation I wouldn’t mind having

I noticed her immediately. She was with a group of giggling girlfriends. All pouty lips and low-cut tops. A normal man would have hooked onto her friends but they didn’t draw me in like her. Y/N had a sultry smile and a calm kind of confidence that intrigued me. She sat with one foot hooked behind her bar stool and the other stretched out in front. Lean legs tanned, from summer? Or holidays abroad? I didn’t know but I instantly wanted them wrapped around me.
“What’s a nice girl like you, doing in a place like this?” I had hoped she would laugh. I would take a mere titter of appreciation at my horrible line but instead, she leaned forward, eyes twinkling and said “Oh honey, that line is almost as old as you are!” I couldn’t tell you what happened after that but all I know is we talked and talked, and talked all night.
She was as I expected. Confident, fun, and a little mysterious. She was also making it very difficult to concentrate. I kept thinking about her lips around my cock each time she took a swig of her beer, or putting my mouth on her until she cried out my name in ecstasy, licking every last droplet of her until she couldn’t move for pleasure.
More than once I excused myself to go to the bathroom to splash water on my face in an effort to calm down. Y/N was sexy, and revved my heartbeat up to an unacceptable level. I assume her friends left at some point as we ended up apparating back to her place for a “coffee.” Her suggestion, not mine, but one I was angling for all night.
I had subtly tried to gauge her interest and while I thought I saw a spark there she was too cool to read. At one point she placed her hand on my thigh mid-sentence. Purposefully or a misfire? This woman was quietly wrapping me around her finger and I was more than happy to be there.
I never did get to have that coffee, however. As soon as I stepped foot into her flat, Moody sent an Owl through with an urgent request for my presence at Order HQ. It turned out to not even be urgent! Just an informative meeting about some new recruits I had to gauge for Order potential at the ministry tomorrow.
I thought about going back to Y/N’s place straight away, but at 3 am it felt madly insulting to her. What was more irritating was that I didn’t ask to see her again. I resigned to make sure I went to that same pub each night in the hopes of bumping into her.
That turned out not to be necessary. Those new recruits Moody had talked about, Y/N was one of them. My heart beat quickly as I looked at her. Did she remember mere hours ago we were on the brink of having sex?
She gave me a sly smile that told me, yes she did! I tried to talk to her afterwards. Wanting to ask her if she wanted to meet again - hoping pick up where we left off. She got to me first. Misinterpreting my intentions, she informed me that I wasn’t to worry and just to chalk last night up to a drunken mistake. Looking into her smiling face I knew she was trying to let me off the hook. She had assumed, as does everyone, that I don’t do relationships. I nodded and smiled and didn’t correct her.
She worked in the care of magical creatures dept. So after this brief Order onboarding before work she left. Our paths would never organically cross unless called by Moody, which was not happening as much as I would like.
I rub my chin thoughtfully. Y/N never mentions that night. I think I embarrassed her. Well, actually Tonks did. If only that little brat hadn’t told Y/N I only did one-night stands we might have gotten somewhere. Tonks was wrong. Well, wrong now. How can people believe that you are still the same person as you were at 19? Granted I haven’t really shown anyone any differently lately, the fact I hadn’t gone on any dates since leaving Azkaban doesn’t help the matter and certainly now that my particular “skills” have been highlighted for this mission. What else would anyone believe? It’s not fair. I’d pout if I wasn’t a 30-something-year-old man. You have one year of being a rebel and just casually dating and you are labelled as a slut. Well, two years
maybe three if I’m being honest.
I sigh and berate my inner thoughts for not even cutting me some slack. I guess I deserve this.
“Now what do you say to that Sirius?” I pay no attention to Rita. I’m more interested in Y/N. As I watched, she lifted up her head and was currently looking towards the window, her tail flicking irritably.
“Sirius?” Rita questions, trying to get my attention again. I feel her hand, hot and sweaty drop on my thigh. It is an unwelcome weight but not my concern at the moment.
Y/N had jumped up with surprising agility for someone lazing along the floor moments ago, and paces over to the window, paws up against the window ledge, staring out onto the street.
What has got into her?
The hand that was slapped limply onto my thigh before is quickly removed and Rite speaks again. However, this time I pay attention. It’s her tone. There is no sickly sultry sweetness to it anymore. Rita seems concerned.
“Well, Sirius I have taken up so much of your time I best be going now.” She tries to give me a confident smile but is betrayed by worried eyebrows.
“Now?”
Rita has never left voluntarily on her own before. Getting her to leave usually takes me 3-15 subtle hints.
“Yes, I’ll be in touch.” Before I could react, Rita had swept from the room. An audible ‘bang’ seconds later let me know she had slammed the front door.
I look over at Y/N. She had not moved from her spot at the window. Tail still twitching moodily.
Rita has gone without taking too much of my sanity and Y/N is still here! Normally I wouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth at this happy turn of events, but what the heck is going on?

(english is not my first language so i'm sorry if there are any mistakes!) thank u!!
Hello! Thank you so much, honey. Well, I’m actually working on the second instalment of “The Chaperone” - a broken computer caused me to lose the first draft so I’m starting again. I also have a book that I’ve written with OG characters but the hero is based on Sirius. Do you think that is something people would want a peek at?

Thank you, honey <3
Hello! I was wondering if you have any Severus or Sirius fic refs? I’ve been looking for current era ones and it’s sometimes hard to find. I cant wait to check out yours!
Hello! These are the ones I have enjoyed. Some of them are a bit dark so proceed with caution. I completely understand- finding the older versions of these characters is difficult- that’s why I write for them exclusively! I hope you enjoy đŸ€

“...yet I met Black on my last inspection of Azkaban. You know, most of the prisoners in there sit muttering to themselves in the dark; there’s no sense in them... but I was shocked at how normal Black seemed. He spoke quite rationally to me. It was unnerving. You’d have thought he was merely bored— asked if I’d finished with my newspaper, cool as you please, said he missed doing the crossword.”
Only Sirius Black can make the progress of becoming mentally deranged sexy. Change my mind.

Me too, Harry. Me too.

“Harry had received two letters from Sirius since he had been back at Privet Drive. Both had been delivered, not by owls (as was usual with wizards), but by large, brightly colored tropical birds. Hedwig had not approved of these flashy intruders; she had been most reluctant to allow them to drink from her water tray before flying off again. Harry, on the other hand, had liked them; they put him in mind of palm trees and white sand, and he hoped that, wherever Sirius was (Sirius never said, in case the letters were intercepted), he was enjoying himself.“
