Semeli as Greek God

A small look at the ancient Greek au I am painting now 😉

I intend to draw all of the gang 😌As ancient Greek deities. Since I live in Greece, this au had to exist right?🤔

So I have a little look at Semeli as an ancient Greek God, soon the rest are coming 🥳

I know no one cares but:

The name "Semeli" is ancient Greek, she was the mother of a god, and after Hera killed her, she went to Mount Olympus along with the other gods. So that's why she's not Semeli as some familiar goddess 🙃

Kinda dont use my gen art tumblr much anymore so I’ll post this here!

Working on storyboards again! Technically this is my first finished storyboard animatic, all the other ones I’ve made were colored or unfinished, I went with Varian since I’ve had this idea for about 2 years now! Other then the slack in backgrounds im pretty pleased with it tho I definitely have room for improvement. Now to start working on my new dream Christmas one again i failed to finish last year....

I was lookin through @tangledbea​‘s production art tag and I came upon these images

There’s nothing really out of the ordinary about this. It’s a wall of concept/pre-production art. But one thing stood out… And it’s this: 

The conveniently placed drawing that covers whoever this person is supposed to be. Who IS that? That looks like it could be possibly Big Nose’s boots (even if the legs are a little skinny) but… Why cover him up in production art?

We have no canonical answer for that, but a lot of people headcanon that it's baby Hamuel (even though that's not what raven chicks look like), and that Hamuel was supposed to be Eugene's animal companion, had everything in the Dark Kingdom worked out happily.
