life is so fun when you spend most of your days ignoring responsibilities, reading books, listening to music and dissociating from reality

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
Hi babes!
first of all, wow! just wow!
this book was seriously so amazing but it also shattered my heart to pieces. I honestly went into this book without knowing anything about it. I knew the title and my best friend gave it to me and said I would love it, and boy was she right. I loved it.
The Sinclair family is a family we see all the time on the news, families who are to show they are perfect, and maybe we know some of the families personally. but honey, don't we know that not all families are as perfect as they think?
This book made me feel things that no book has made me feel since I read the fault in our stars, but differently completely.
I didn't know how I was going to feel after the book was done. I was toward the end of the book and I had to stop reading because I figured out what had happened before the book decided to tell me, and when I saw that I was right, it was heart-wrenching and I needed a minute to pick the book back up and finish the pages. books like this make me feel all the emotions but all I know is that I am glad the author wrote it, and I am glad that my best friend recommended it to me.
Thank you, Gaby, I guess this means I must read the mortal instruments soon. YIKES <333

Hi Babes <3333
hello babies, I am so sorry about the lack of content. I'm working on it. I have been so focused on school and my new job that is starting Monday that I hadn't found anytime to read! BUTTTT, I have posted two more book reviews, both were ARCS that I received through Netgalley. I hope that I can review more books through them because it was a really fun experience!
Books on the reading schedule for this month are as follows: 1. The Dating Plan by Sara Desai 2 You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria
3. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
4. Finlay Donovan is Killing it by Elle Cosimano
Hopefully this month will continue to be a good reading month <33333

The Astrology of Serial Killers by Rhys Navarro
Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for giving me the opportunity to read an review this ARC. This is my honest opinion.
I chose this book to read and review because of my love for zodiac signs and the raw interest in serial killers and why they do the things they do. While that is what kept me reading, I still did not like the set up to the book, and I did not like how it was written in a sense. I think the basis of the book was a good idea and it still could be phenomenal, but I feel it needs to be fleshed out more than what it is now. It was a little boring, I think there could be more for this book, but for now its not at its best!
Much potential though!
I just reviewed The Astrology of Serial Killers by Rhys Navarro. #TheAstrologyofSerialKillers #NetGalley

The School for Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan
Thank you to Simon and Schuster and Netgalley for the chance to read this ARC. This is my honest review.
This book was an absolute page turner. The ideas of this book haunted me and made me wonder what our entire world really could end up being. The idea of being to loving to a child being seen as neglect did throw me a little bit. But regardless of some of the ideas in the book, I literally couldn't put it down. It wasn't something I would put at the top of my list of favorite books but it was still very interesting to read. I think this book has some ideas of what is happening in present day when it comes to be a mother within this society. Mothers get judged on a harder scale than others do.
I won't be reading it again because it was a very strong book with a lot of dark issues but I will say that I am glad to have read it at all.
I just reviewed The School for Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan. #TheSchoolforGoodMothers #NetGalley

Fall in love with yourself. Trust your body. Wear the crop top you feel cute in. Know where you hold strength. Stretch the places you know hold tension. Be proud of what your body can do, and the things it has carried you through.
