“Meet Your Maker” - Close-Ups under the cut

Evidently the robot soap opera inspires at least one angst comic each year.

It’s wild to me to compare this to my first real comic when I first found the fandom. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

Similar to the Solar piece, this is also the first thing I thought of when I saw the episode. My headcanon evidently is Dadcode is a caring angel of death, watching over wayward sparks that cross over.

Bloodmoon deserved better, but they didn’t heed Kill Code’s advice and kept getting used. So sad. Still sad..

1: Sculpting. Clay, Foam, Paper Mache… all of it makes me so happy (I wanted to major in sculpting but went with something more practical)

2: Puzzles. I love figuring out puzzles, like jigsaw puzzles or just sleuthing out creative solutions, or Tetris-ing things together

3: Creating. Just making things brings me joy, expands my mind

To answer your tags @cartoonsforlife , I don’t remember how long it took as I sculpted it between working, kids and bunch was sculpted and refined live on TikTok (which means I was chatting and getting distracted 😹), but here is the video of the initial sculpting process for the 16” larger faceplate.

But it was over the course of a few weeks for the big one and the little one was a couple days worth of sculpting using Monster Clay. I made it for my son’s Halloween costume for 2022.

I still have the molds and have more plans once I move to a place I can pour resin again. 😭

I have the original sculpture and plan to make a Ruin Eclipse version in the future too 💕

Had to light them all up tonight! I’m surrounded by faceplates and loving it!

Still working out how to make the lighting make sense, be accessible and be able to change the batteries. More experimenting!

Was talking to a friend about Protogens and I just randomly created a new OC. Since posting him everywhere else yesterday I came up with ideas!

His name is Protocol

He is a security protocol bot with a typically dormant kill code (explains my brain randomly using KC and MXES design bits, it wasn’t planned)

Think of him like The Iron Giant meets Eve & Wall-E. He’s more gentle and sweet.

Doesn’t usually talk. Speaks in whirs and blips and emotes with his screen face. Can talk, he sounds glitchy

Limbs and body ‘floats’ but pieces still need to be near enough to his body to do so (within his electromagnetic field). Some parts of his body can extend/telescope.

He wheels around like on roller skates, but also can walk around like those robotic dogs.

I didn’t realize so many people didn’t know how tall #KillCode was. You guys! In the olden lore he’s double Moon’s height! If you go by canon (which the VR models are not canon sizes), he would be close to 14’ tall.

I actually down size him slightly, so he’s the size of those giant Halloween skellies 12’

He’s my tall sassy sweetheart 😹💕

Have a few of my size charts and examples I’ve drawn up. Been trying to keep it consistent.

Edit: I realize the height chart going around with the stated VR model size, but the VR Chat models of the DCA’s are larger than canon so they are skewed. I like to try to keep things closer to canon so 14’ and not 19’-20’ 😹
