RAD Student Info: Leviathan, Your friendly neighborhood Otaku

i am back and here’s leviachan,had to cram a whole thesis in 2 days but im back to post yaay. so to start the ball we will continue on to the 3rd brother. the utterly hopeless anti-social anti-normie otaku.

Background and origins

so like mammon, levi has actually showed up a few times in the bible. and before the bible citation segment gets too long, i will get the meaning of his name out of the way. so Leviathan in the original Hebrew text means “that which gathers itself together and folds.” or in shorter terms it means coiled or twisted . 

“Here is the sea, great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great. There go the ships, and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it. “( Psalm 104:25-26 )

above is an example of one of these verses, and unlike mammon, levi is an actual creature. in Job 41:15-32, the verse talks about Leviathan’s appearance in great length ( if you want to read it, just search that verse, its kinda long so i decided not to put it here sowwys) but the whole text can be boiled down that Leviathan is a great sea creature that has whale like or serpent like properties. in some books, they site that Leviathan is the giant sea creature that swallowed Jonah whole because he refused to follow god’s bidding . 

to add, in Hebrew lore, Leviathan has two aspects the  the male aspect named Leviathon( called the Slant Serpent ), while Lilith is the female aspect (called the Torturous Serpent)  . god decided to kill the female aspect a while after due to the fact that humans will not be able to survive with these creatures reproducing.  (and fun fact it was also said that leviathan had 7 heads) 

but this is only in the canon biblical text, in the Apocrypha, specifically Enoch, it details that Leviathan is associated with Rehab, the Angel of the Primordial Deep. also in the book of Enoch it is also stated that Leviathan is a She-dragon, while in the Greek apocalypse of Baruch it is said that Leviathan is created on the 5th day alongside Behemoth. another source cites the System of Justinus, that states that Leviathan is a “bad angel”.  in George Barton’s journal of biblical literature he states that Leviathan is the hebrew name of the Babylonial Tiamat (for reference, Tiamat is the Babylonial goddess of the primordial deep or sea salt where gods were first created).  

Leviathan also made an appearance in Paradise lost, with John Milton emphasizing leviathan’s enormous size. to be specific, he also said that Leviathan is the “arch-fiend” that dwells in the seas of Scandinavia. Peter Binsfield categorizes him as the demon who rules over envy. 

now lets get to his position in hell, okay so in a novel, it is written that Leviathan is part of the ruling triad of hell, with belphegor and ashtaroth. he is also stated as the demon of Diplomats.

 in other books (specifically the Priestess’s of Satan and Suns/Sons ~ The Demon Temple ), he is known as the lord of the abyss and void. a primordial demon and very old. due to this he is stated to be the one who rules over emotions and subconsciousness, he also is the one to be called when translating dreams and such. currently is a high ranking demon in the demonic council, has 4 known wives.  

so in my references, it is also said he appears as a tall muscular man with long black hair and dark eyes accompanied by dark wings and a tail. a more demonic form has long black horns, blue-black tail and blue-black wings. (theres also a dragon form aint that rad?) 

Representation in game 

so levi in game can be summarized in a few words let me try to do a run down : shut in, anti-social, otaku, sensitive, gamer, and those are the ones i can think on the top of my head. 

so because leviathan is a sea creature, his demon form is a snake and his room literally screams fish and are we not gonna talk about why he sleeps in a bathtub? 

but joking aside, levi has been shown to take things very personally and this resonates alot with his irl person, being the lord of the abyss he knows the depth of emotion and pain. and since he also is connected alot with dreams, my guess this is where his love for fantasies can come in. dreams are often filled with imagination yet sometimes still show some truth to them. (ehem TSL? that basically is fantasy but is so uncanny).  aside from that, he is also shown to be quite a memer and very tech savvy (for an old fish).

he is also known to HATE normies because it doesnt resonate with him, cant really connect it but maybe thats just the devs fixing the otaku stereotype on him.

the 7 brothers and what their rooms smell like

oprops to @heeminchan for helping with this short hc post haha

so lets start 

Lucifer 

his room probably smells like some expensive perfume with a slight hint of a leather scent. if not that, imagine going into a fancy mall for rich people, yeah that smell. 

Mammon

no questions asked, axe body spray chocolate. (or probably the infamous “ new car smell”) 

Leviathan

the nicer possibility is his room smells like air freshener, the other possibility is smelling like potato chips. 

Satan 

besides smelling like a library... due to the amount of candles around his room, it probably smells like scented candles, aroma therapy type to help him relax and get in the mood for reading ( its probably a fire hazard, but hey whats life without alittle danger) 

Asmodeus

being the fragile flower that asmo is, his room not only smells faintly of roses, but is drowned by the scent of bath and body works scents. be it lotion, creams or skin care. 

Beezlebub and Belphegor

the twins rooms have 2 moods, belphie sleeping or beel eating. when beel’s eating, it can smell like savory burgers or fried chicken. but when belphies sleeping, it smells like lavander and fresh linen.

Asmodeus and Sarah

i wanted to make some theories so lets have this

so i was thinking about how there can be more to asmos character to why he is so narcissistic and causal with relationships. besides that he is the avatar of lust, and how he already liked being the star of the show even in the Celestial Realm days.  there has to be a reason to why its so intense. 

in Jewish tradition, asmodeus was known for his appearance in the Book of Tobit ( or Book of Tobias). the story goes as Asmodeus fell in love with a women named Sarah. Asmodeus wanted sarah to be his and not marry a human man. so everytime Sarah gets married, asmodeus kills the man on their wedding night. this happened 7 times

Tobias was able to make him flee, using the method of burning a gall of certain fish. and in the end Tobias gets to marry sarah. 

so my take on this reference is that, maybe the reason for asmo being so casual and narcissistic is because of Sarah, and how She broke his heart, for once he fell in love and yet the human cant be his. he was devastated. maybe at first, he was looking for someone like sarah, but then he gave up on such an idea. because, no one can be sarah to him. 

so now instead of looking for love, he instead looks for casual relations and call it love, he refuses to let anyone take his heart for granted. instead of getting his heart broken, he is now the one that breaks hearts. 

he is narcissistic because maybe he thinks and knows that only he can truly love himself, only he can love himself without getting hurt and only he alone can trust himself with his own heart. 

buuuuuut, thats my take on it. I could be completely over thinking things and reading in between the lines too much, what do you guys think? i would love to hear your opinions and thoughts about it

RAD Student Info: Mammon, The Great (?)

 terhewwo! before i start, i’m just gonna address some things. for some reason, the lucifer post keeps disappearing. so, if anyones wondering why they didnt see it, but saw this...ye tumblr’s drunk. 

as always, spoiler warning so if you’re not comfortable with that please skip this post, thank u (hart hart hart)

Background and Origins: 

Mammon in the bible is actually mentioned quite a few times, most of his references is in the New testament. 

Matthew 6:24-25 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?( Matthew 6:24-25).

now before assuming that “Mammon” here is already an actual demon, he isnt. Mammon or iLmmon is the Aramaic term for “money/ riches”. He only got recognized into demonology lore when Bishop Gregory of Nyssa in his 4th century writing, identified him with Beezlebub. Early Christians did equate him with the Roman god, Plutus who shows to rule over wealth. as the Middle Ages role around, He becomes recognized as the demon who embodies Avarice and Greed, also during these times, he was also associated with a Syrian god, though there are no traces of such. these assumptions were made due to statements from Peter Lombard.  “ Riches are called by the name of a devil, namely Mammon, for Mammon is the name of a devil, by which name riches are called according to the Syrian tongue." . He even made an appearance of one of St. Francesca’s 98 visions, in which she stated, “ He holds the throne of the world”.  

Mammon makes appearances in Francis Barrette’s 1801 editions of The Magnus, where he states that mammon is one of the demonic prince of the demonic order, Tempters and Ensnares. In John Milton’s Paradise lost, Mammon is stated to be (least erected) Fallen Angel who too often stares down more at the Golden pavements of heaven and its riches, he is also said to be the demon that will tempt humanity to rob the Earth of her riches. And in the Grand Grimoire, Mammon is stated to be the Ambassador of England. In Peter Binsfield classification of the princes of Hell, he is still said to be the embodiment of Greed. 

He is said to appear as a man with white-blonde hair, who is tanned. he conceals his wings and tail, yet he has long horns with gold tips. he wears a crown and the most regal clothing. 

oh, also he has 24 wives :3 

Representation in Game :

so in game, mammon is shown to be a goofy and as his brothers state, is a not so bright character. He is shown to be quite boisterous in nature, but he does show promise with math and business ( shown in the give me your warmth memory and that one memory where he’s speeding through activities). He is also shown to view quite highly of himself, always saying “ The GREAT Mammon”. I would say i can reference this to St.Francesca’s vision saying that he holds the throne to the world. 

his representation is actually accurate, a white haired tanned boi. 

He is often shown as being a scummy demon, stealing from his brothers to profit, not returning what he owes and such. but it is quite different, those who are said to envoke mammon and stand by the change he poses, he will never abandon. this aspect does hold with the Mc, as he is shown to be quite committed to the Mc, that he is willing to plot an idea to even steal the Grimiore. 

another fact that is quite odd for me is how he is always out of money, as greed is literally wanting more of something. so why would he be spending so much money if he wants more money. (well not unless he wants more material possessions it can be as well). 

there really isnt much to dissect since they use mammon alot as comic relief (poor boy).

So some angst is probably bound to happen for Asmo, right? Since he is the Avatar of Lust. There’s bound to be some type of relationship drama between him and the MC, like Asmo cheating on them or the like. 

I’m tempted to write a one shot but he’s my best boi and just thinking about the possibilities of him doing stuff like that

But the satisfaction of making myself, and possibly others, just cry or tear up because the one I adore cheats and oh so casually flirts with everyone. Like, Asmo gives off that vibe “easy to get, hard to keep” vibe.

Thought I’d share this also, I had this idea while talking to one of my friends that also plays the game. Looking at you @danni-chuu. The wound is still fresh, and this conversation took place two days ago oof.

before i start the post, Thank you guys for the support^^ it really means alot. and im going to go very in depth with these post, so i decided to make each brother have their own spotlight by making it individual post.

 Background and Origin:

Lucifer,as famous as he is right now. With the Netflix show and other representations of him throughout history, his name has only been mentioned once in the bible.

“ How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, Son of the Morning,” (Isiah 14:12 King James Version)  

this simple line was said to actually be a foreshadowing of the fall of the King of Babylon, Nebuchadrezzar . Some say it is alluding to the fall of a Pheonician God, Helal who sought after the Chief God’s throne and fell (pretty similar eh? actually dfq too similar) .

some say that Lines from Ezekiel might be marking a prophecy of Lucifer’s faith  (Ezekiel 28: 11-19 , the passage is alittle too long, so if you want to see it just search that up), the passage speaks about King Tyre and what his pride did to him not only that but the passage then goes to mention “ the Anointed Cherub”. This is said by Jonathan Edwards, a Philosophical Theologian is a reference to Lucifer; as Lucifer was made highest of the angels, not only this but is said to be the closest to the throne of God.

the actual name of Lucifer came from the Latin Vulgate version of the Bible.Lucifer, which meant “Light Bearer” and was directly connected to the Planet Venus. As the bible gets translated over and over again, this later turned Lucifer instead of being just a figure of speech, became an individual being. most of the stories about Lucifer are taken from Poetic literature about the bible  and legends.

there are many interpretations to the fall of Lucifer( the Anointed Cherub), so i will give the most well known and then briefly touch upon the other interpretations.

Lucifer, before his fall was said to be God’s most perfect creation, a Cherub ( some would disagree and say a seraph, but more on that later) whose beauty was unmatched, whose knowledge was above those of his kind; God gave him knowledge that only Lucifer can have. second only to the father himself.he was the leader of the angels but, he grew in pride and decided that being second to the father is not enough. that he has to be equal–no greater than the father. With this, he waged war that caused great chaos throughout heaven. Michael (in some accounts, Gabriel) the archangel second to him lead the army that counters his and was able to defeat him and cast him and those who sided with him out of Heaven. following the Book of Revelations, it is also accounted that third of the angels in Heaven fell with Lucifer.

as he was cast into the Abyss, he is to bound there until the day of Judgement, but with his despise of God, he then goes to the mortal world to tempt and torment the Father’s most beloved creation, Humans. he does this so that he can acquire their souls and keep them away from God( this was stated in the Apocrypha, Enoch). it is said that he appears as a beautiful innocent child and uses this form to easily tempt humans to follow his words.

some interpretations state that the reason for Lucifer’s rebellion is because, God made another being, Jesus, who was Higher than him. as Lucifer only is near the throne of God, Jesus is to sit on the throne with God for all eternity. which infuriated Lucifer.

and in some interpretations, it is said that God permitted Lucifer to be able to tempt humans. and in some Gnostic Christian Sects they believe that Lucifer isn’t even evil, but the first-born of God who is to save humanity with his gift of Knowledge.

Jonathan Edwards, even goes as far as to say the fall of Lucifer to him pleases God, as his fall is for the greatness of God that is to come.

Lucifer in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the mage, Lucifer is stated to be one of the four Principal spirits. in the True keys of Solomon, Lucifer is identified to be one of the three demons who can command all others of his kind, he is said to rule over demons in Europe and Asia ; the other two demons who have the same authority is Beezlebub and Astaroth . as for other legends, they state that Lucifer is the Consort of Lilith ( weird but okay?). according to Peter Binsfield, Lucifer represents the Sin of Pride; to note, it is said that Pride is the King of all sins, which seems fitting for Lucifer. He is also the Opposing force to Saint John the Baptist.  in the Friar Rush, Lucifer is said to be the “ Prince of Gluttony” .

as for Lucifer’s position in hell, there is some debate over it, on one side it is said that Lucifer is the emperor of Hell, with Satan being second to him and Beezlebub third to him. for some Demonographers, Lucifer is a great Lover of justice in Hell.  and the other side, it is said that it is either Satan or Beezlebub.

So How does it show in the game?

Lucifer in the game is well known as the loyal right hand of Diavolo ( the devil?). He is obedient to Diavolo’s wishes and does everything he can to make sure no one opposes him, even his brothers. this is quite different from the things mentioned above. Lucifer is supposed to be the highest one in Hell, he was able to even rebel against Heaven for it, yet here he is…serving a Demon?

Lucifer is shown to be a sadistic, strict, over bearing, secretive, but caring(?) sibling. he shows to be dealing with alot of problems with the past especially concerning Lilith.

(the sadistic side could be a reference to how he loves to torture and torment humans. just a guess)

the game seems to take liberty of taking shifting and twisting the origins to make a more human Lucifer, his story is also very similar to what his origins state.

but, the thing i want to focus on is Lucifer’s model, in the game he is stated to be seraphim, an angel that has 6 wings( this information was given by Luke during Chapter 5),  but his model only goes to show 4. now, in the information above, Lucifer is said to be a Cherub, so whats with that?

to be technical, Cherubs are angels of Knowledge, which for others means, his sin is caused by his knowledge. Seraphims are angels of Charity, while they are the highest choir, if you try to connect it with his sin, it doesn’t match. but, since the game used the Seraphim interpretation so we’ll go with that.

Lucifer is also shown to have dark hair and his wings have turned black, modern interpretations do this as to show his turn to the darkness, but some interpret it as the result of Lucifer’s wings being burned. his character model shows him with only 4 wings, so where’s the 3rd pair? most likely burned off during his fall to the Devildom , or they were burned during the Celestial war. and the implications that Micheal did it might be likely, since his origins states that Micheal was the one to defeat Lucifer and His army.

Diavolo when he gushes about Lucifer, he always goes on about how Lucifer was so bright and blinding, which could be a reference to his name as Light Bearer.

in regards to Lucifer’s relationship with Lilith, During chapter 5, we were able to find out about that Belphie, Beel, Lilith, and Lucifer used to be very close. hoping this game doesnt take the incest route, we can say that Lucifer and Lilith are just very close siblings rather than the original interpretation that He is a Consort of Lilith. much of the lore is still in the making, so most of the things are just possibilities.

Michael (in some accounts, Gabriel) the archangel second to him lead the army that counters his and was able to defeat him and cast him and those who sided with him out of Heaven. following the Book of Revelations, it is also accounted that third of the angels in Heaven fell with Lucifer.

as he was cast into the Abyss, he is to bound there until the day of Judgement, but with his despise of God, he then goes to the mortal world to tempt and torment the Father’s most beloved creation, Humans. he does this so that he can acquire their souls and keep them away from God( this was stated in the Apocrypha, Enoch). it is said that he appears as a beautiful innocent child and uses this form to easily tempt humans to follow his words.

some interpretations state that the reason for Lucifer’s rebellion is because, God made another being, Jesus, who was Higher than him. as Lucifer only is near the throne of God, Jesus is to sit on the throne with God for all eternity. which infuriated Lucifer.

and in some interpretations, it is said that God permitted Lucifer to be able to tempt humans. and in some Gnostic Christian Sects they believe that Lucifer isn’t even evil, but the first-born of God who is to save humanity with his gift of Knowledge.

Jonathan Edwards, even goes as far as to say the fall of Lucifer to him pleases God, as his fall is for the greatness of God that is to come.

Lucifer in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the mage, Lucifer is stated to be one of the four Principal spirits. in the True keys of Solomon, Lucifer is identified to be one of the three demons who can command all others of his kind, he is said to rule over demons in Europe and Asia ; the other two demons who have the same authority is Beezlebub and Astaroth . as for other legends, they state that Lucifer is the Consort of Lilith ( weird but okay?). according to Peter Binsfield, Lucifer represents the Sin of Pride; to note, it is said that Pride is the King of all sins, which seems fitting for Lucifer. He is also the Opposing force to Saint John the Baptist.  in the Friar Rush, Lucifer is said to be the “ Prince of Gluttony” .

as for Lucifer’s position in hell, there is some debate over it, on one side it is said that Lucifer is the emperor of Hell, with Satan being second to him and Beezlebub third to him. for some Demonographers, Lucifer is a great Lover of justice in Hell.  and the other side, it is said that it is either Satan or Beezlebub.

So How does it show in the game?

Lucifer in the game is well known as the loyal right hand of Diavolo ( the devil?). He is obedient to Diavolo’s wishes and does everything he can to make sure no one opposes him, even his brothers. this is quite different from the things mentioned above. Lucifer is supposed to be the highest one in Hell, he was able to even rebel against Heaven for it, yet here he is...serving a Demon?

Lucifer is shown to be a sadistic, strict, over bearing, secretive, but caring(?) sibling. he shows to be dealing with alot of problems with the past especially concerning Lilith.

(the sadistic side could be a reference to how he loves to torture and torment humans. just a guess)

the game seems to take liberty of taking shifting and twisting the origins to make a more human Lucifer, his story is also very similar to what his origins state.

but, the thing i want to focus on is Lucifer’s model, in the game he is stated to be seraphim, an angel that has 6 wings( this information was given by Luke during Chapter 5),  but his model only goes to show 4. now, in the information above, Lucifer is said to be a Cherub, so whats with that?

to be technical, Cherubs are angels of Knowledge, which for others means, his sin is caused by his knowledge. Seraphims are angels of Charity, while they are the highest choir, if you try to connect it with his sin, it doesn’t match. but, since the game used the Seraphim interpretation so we’ll go with that.

Lucifer is also shown to have dark hair and his wings have turned black, modern interpretations do this as to show his turn to the darkness, but some interpret it as the result of Lucifer’s wings being burned. his character model shows him with only 4 wings, so where’s the 3rd pair? most likely burned off during his fall to the Devildom , or they were burned during the Celestial war. and the implications that Micheal did it might be likely, since his origins states that Micheal was the one to defeat Lucifer and His army.

Diavolo when he gushes about Lucifer, he always goes on about how Lucifer was so bright and blinding, which could be a reference to his name as Light Bearer.

in regards to Lucifer’s relationship with Lilith, During chapter 5, we were able to find out about that Belphie, Beel, Lilith, and Lucifer used to be very close. hoping this game doesnt take the incest route, we can say that Lucifer and Lilith are just very close siblings rather than the original interpretation that He is a Consort of Lilith. much of the lore is still in the making, so most of the things are just possibilities.

Kinda curious...

Before getting addicted to obey me, i actually already had an interest to demonology. And now with this, comparing the games interpretation of the 7 princes of hell with their actual origins is quite a trip.

So im kinda curious, does anyone want to read a post about each brother, their origins( in demonology of course), and how its interpreted in the game? Maybe I'll even do the other side characters hehe

The 7 brothers with a 10 year-old lilith (+ side characters & mc)

This is an hc is inspired by the chapter 14 flashback, so the gist of this Hc is what if lilith gets turned into a 10 year old child try as diavolos way to save her. This is gonna be a really long post so strap in~❤️.

This hc post is made with the help of my friend, @heeminchan, thankiez.

General info about 10 year old lilith:

She has no recollection or memories about the celestial war or being an angel at all.

The post might say 10 years old but she's probably already pass the 1000+ mark, but still is and acts like a child.

She looks like ruri chan ( for reference here)

Lucifer

" if you behave I'll give you a princess poison apple and play with you "

Lucifer being the eldest takes it upon himself to be a father like figure to her. In front of the others, he makes sure to keep a strict front but in private, he's alot more softer on her.

Lucifer's room has a toy chest for her since she likes spending time and playing in his room. And being the child that she is, she even dresses up the skeleton in his room. If he's not busy, he would play with her, simple playing house and all.

One time while lucifer was doing paper work,lilith wanted to help him . So to keep lilith busy, he handed her a bunch of void documents and told her to sign them. In the end she got bored and decided to draw her with her 7 older brothers. Which luci decided to frame and put up at the entrance hall.

If lilith gets into trouble, luci doesn't shy away from punishment. But rather than stringing someone upside down and leaving them like that for 100 years, he would just ground lilith and take away her toys. (Buuuuut her other brothers would just sneak some of her toys to her room, especially beel and belphie)

Mammon

" heh you should be greatful you're brothers with the GREAT mammon, shortie! Huh?! w-wait dont cry! "

Mammon loves teasing lilith. Be it calling her a pipspeak, shortie, cry baby, etc. He's said them all, buuuuut he always takes it back because lilith might tell lucifer and he gets punished AG A I N.

Lilith as much as possible doesn't leave any of her things in mammon's room, because her other brothers warn her that he's going to sell them away.

One time mammon stole something from lucifer (probably something to profit from), and lilith was in lucifers room because she was playing hide and seek with beel. Seeing mammon stealing, she gets out of her hiding spot and tells mammon that she will rat him out to her big brother lucifer.mammon taking non of this shitz says he'll do whatever she wants. By the end of the day, lilith gets a new plushie and mammon still got ratted out because how can she lie to her big brother lucifer?

Mammon does try to get her involved in his schemes sometimes. Making her ask money from her other brothers and other more shenanigans, but when he's feeling it he will in fact spoil her with little treats such as candy.

Leviathan

" wooah you look so much like ruri-chan! Can you sing too?"

Levi is still as much of a shut- in, having a younger sibling that he can teach TSL or play games with is his dream come true. Lilith goes to his room to watch anime (for her its cartoons but dont tell levi because he will be very triggered) with him and play video games.

If lilith does go to levi's room , he's always watching out just in case she ends up using his precious figurines as dolls or touching his precious merch. Sometimes( most of the time) when he's too busy playing his games, lilith will just talk to henry 2.0 and feed him.

Levi is a mega ultra super duper (insert more hyperbolic words) fan of ruri-chan, so during lilith's birthday..he gave her a ruri-chan costume (the other brothers already knew where this was heading but they couldn't stop it since lilith liked the cute clothes). She wore them and levi literally freaked because she looked just like her! He posted a picture of her on devilgram and the pic got a decent amount of likes.

The only time that lilith gets in trouble with levi is her staying with him past her bed time, she gets pouty about it but in the end she still gets taken to bed by her big brother lucifer.

Satan

"i can read you a story or we can play tea time, what do you prefer? "

Satan acts alot like a tutor to lilith, he teaches her about manners, reading and writing, and many other things. Satan loves teaching lilith especially when he sees her trying to pronounce big words, which he finds adorable.

Satan for the most part wants lilith to stay out of his room because there are too many dangerous books around. But he would rather play with her in her room instead, either reading a children's bed time book before going to bed or playing tea time with her. They both share a love for pets and animals, so in his free time, he will take her to a kitty cafe where she can play with the lil furballs.

Satan was regulary teaching lilith about different animals, until they got to the cat. Lilith became so intrigued by cats that satan spent a good 30 minutes to an hour of answering her questions about cats. One day, he saw lilith crying by the stairs. He quickly went over and asked her what's wrong, only to find out that she asked lucifer if they can adopt a cat wherein lucifer completely dismisses the idea. Knowing that Lucifer's mind wont change, the next day satan surprises lilith with a black cat plushie with a red bow tie thats as tall (or alitte bit smaller) than her. Until this day, the cat plushie satan gave her is her favourite. She is never seen without it, and she even gave it a name, mr. Momo.

The only time that lilith ever gets in trouble is if she joins in on satan's pranks on lucifer. But most of the time she's let off the hook if they're harmless ones.

Asmodeus

" waahh~ lilith's so adorable, but not as adorable as me"

To lilith, asmo is the closest thing to a sister she can have. Being the only girl in the house( before mc, if mc is a girl ), asmo likes to doll her up and make her his little dress up doll. He often buys clothes for her because he just LOVES making her pretty.

She doesn't spend as much time in asmo's room because there isn't much to do there, but when asmo calls her in after a shopping trip. She already knows he's going to make her pretty as a peach!

It was lilith's birthday and Asmo wanted to dress her up for the occasion! Hair? Check! Make up? Check! Clothes? Check! She was looking as pretty as ever (but not as pretty as him). After dolling her up , lilith went to her other brothers to show Amos work. All of them asked if a child should be wearing that much make up, but asmo tells lilith to shrug them off because they can't appreciate beauty even if it hits them in the face!

The one thing that gets lilith in trouble is lucifer seeing her being dressed by asmo , wearing clothes not fit for a 10 year old girl. Seriously, devilgram level make up on a kid is not appropriate (well in lucifer and some of the other brothers point of view)

Beezlebub

" the eggs taste like plastic..huh? I'm not supposed to eat them? Sorry, they looked too realistic"

Beel is very close with lilith. He spends most of his time watching over her or bringing her to his favourite food joints to eat. Since beel is so big, she loves it when he carries her around, either on his shoulders or just being carried in general. Beel wants to protect lilith at all times, so if sorcerers or witches want to summon lilith, he comes along to watch over her still.

if its not Lucifer's room, lilith's next stop is always the twin's room. She goes in and jumps on either of the beds and having her toys there as well she can already entertain herself. When beel is there to play with her, she likes to play chef and make him food using her plastic kitchen toy set( though some pieces are missing since beel keeps forgetting that its plastic). If she doesn't want to play with her toys, she tries to tickle fight beel and always wins.

Beel was in his room eating a box of cupcakes until lilith barges in and sees him eating cupcakes, she pouts at beel asking why he didn't tell her that he had cupcakes. Beel, being beel just says to her, " they're my cupcakes". She pouts even more and says that she wants a cupcake as well. Beel couldn't resist and splits the cupcake, giving the other half to her. After finishing the cupcake, he promises to buy her a box aswell next time.

Lilith having a sweet tooth herself will often look in the fridge for sweets. She sometimes ends up eating beels food(custard), and hides the evidence. Beel rampages again and breaks the kitchen. Lucifer then lines all of them up and ask who ate the custard, and all of them immediately suspect mammon. But being a good girl, lilith admits her mistake and apologizes to beel, who calms down and says ," you could have left me some..".

Belphegor

" how about later...? Im still too sleepy to teach you..."

Belphie, same with beel, is pretty close with lilith. If he isn't cuddling her as his favourite cuddle buddy, he's teaching her how to dance ballet(Based it off his dancing sprite). Lilith spends most of her afternoon napping with belphie.

Besides playing with beel , lilith also loves playig around with belphie. She makes it an everyday challenge for herself to wake him up in the most creative ways. It can be things such as ice,drawing on his face, tickles, etc. When belphie is too lazy to stand up from bed( which is often), she just plays with his hair and does whatever she wants with it. When he finally does stand up, he teaches lilith some ballet. While she's even wearing her full ballet attire, with tutu included.

It was the middle of the night and lilith had a nightmare, she wanted to go to her big brother lucifer, but it was already late and she might be disturbing him. But then she remembered that mid nights is when his big brother belphie is awake, so she goes over to him with mr.momo. belphie is alittle confused since its way past her bedtime so he asked her whats wrong. She climbs up his bed and hugs him, after calming down she tells belphie that she had a nightmare. Belphie was well acquainted with nightmares, so he knew exactly what to do. They went to the kitchen and both had a cup of warm milk. Going back to his room, he cuddled up with lilith and made sure she had a good nights sleep.

Lilith ends up over sleeping and gets very cranky if she gets rudely awakened.the others find it very adorable.

Mc

"...." * Huwgs*

So this depends on the mc's personality but lets start from the beginning. After being sent to the devildom and having the basic run down of what is to come, mammon takes you to the house of lamentations. The first thing you notice once the door opens, is toys scattered all around the entrance hall. Not only toys, but you see a height lines at one of the door frames. Mammon gets more annoyed because he stepped on one of the toys and he shouts out," lilith!". A small girl carrying a black cat plushie almost her size comes down the stairs. Mammon scolds her for leaving her toys out like that and he introduces you to their 8th sibling, lilith. Lilith immediately hugs you (no matter the gender), because it's been a while since she's seen a human. And you become her instant play mate.

The mc's room already has a toy chest, filled with lilith's favourite toys. She likes to play around with the mc and actually gets quite attached to them.

Lilith gets so comfortable around the mc that she ask permission from her big brother luci if she can make a pact with the mc. Of course, lucifer is skeptical but he allows it because of liliths enthusiasm.

Diavolo

" ah lilith , I didn't think you would be accompanying lucifer today. "

Dia acts alot like the rich uncle that only comes back during the holidays to give out presents. Lilith rarely gets to see diavolo because most of the time it's only lucifer that gets to see him. But, when lucifer does come back he often gives lilith sweets that barbatos made by diavolo's order.

On the rare occasions that lucifer brings lilith along with him, she acts very reserved and shows off the manners lessons that satan has been teaching her.

On one evening, lucifer brings lilith along to dinner with diavolo. While eating, diavolo jokes around saying that lucifer should just stay in the castle with him. Suddenly, lilith bumps in and protests against the idea, " no big brother luci's staying with us". She hugs as much of lucifers arm that she can, giving diavolo her most pouty and "menacing face". Dia loves seeing how much she cares for her brother, while lucifer is trying his best to hide his embarrassment.

Luke

" ahhhhh! Im not a child! I dont want to play with a demon!"

When lilith first saw luke, her mind immediately said," playmate! ". Though luke always complains about being treated like a child because he's short, he tries to bare it because simeon convinced him to play with lilith.

When in the purgatory hall, she brings along mr.momo and some other toys. luke sometimes pretend he isn't there so he doesn't have to play with lilith, but once he hears a sniffle of her almost crying. He couldn't help but open the door for her and play.

Upon first meeting luke, the key difference in height was..still... apparent. Somehow, lilith is still a few inches taller than luke. Being the giddy child she is, she tells her brothers about it and they all start laughing their lungs out. And when luke finally got wind of it, he was so flustered and embarrassed, he almost refused to leave his room.

Solomon

" why not make a pact with me?"

All her brothers warn her about solomon and to stay as far away from him as possible, she rarely gets to interact with him. But most of the times they do meet, he often ask her to make a pact with him. She always replies to him, " i have to ask big brother luci's permission first". Solomon just smiles and pats her head.

Huhu not much i can say about him since im sure the brothers distance lilith from solomon as much as possible.

Spoilers ahead! Pass this by if ya don't want to be spoiled.

Soooooooo I have a theory. I relate Lilith to the Devil's Flowers in each cards of the demons.

Instead of that incest bs, let's say Lilith turned into a flower, curtesy of Lord Diavolo, and was then given to a human which is MC's ancestor. Lilith cannot be in Devildom since it was shown that she was dying in Devildom, maybe because of her injuries. So the unexpected way Diavolo was saying can be him turning Lilith into a flower, a lily or lotus maybe. Transported her to the human world and gave her to a human that would take care of her flower form. Let's say after a year, Diavolo would come and take Lilith back again.

The year's almost done, one more day and Lilith would be okay, but the human guarding the flower is slowly dying of a disease. Due to the desperation of the family members of the human, they turned the flower of Lilith to a medicinal soup, like in Rapunzel.

So Diavolo visited the human world to come and get Lilith, but again, Lilith was gone. He came back to Devildom and delivered the news to the brothers. Maybe this is why Belphie hates humans so much and blames Diavolo for it, because he did gave Lilith to a human, who made her into juice oof.

Generations have passed and here comes MC in the Obey Me! Timeline. Though I can't say for sure why it didn't happen to the previous generation, I can guess that Lilith, or other outside force ehemmaybebarbsehem, chose MC to have her powers because maybe she knows of the exchange program that will happen.

Also this,

Because it is the brothers lending their powers to MC, hence the cards, I assume that MC also has one. Solomon has a card, though it's a memory card (but still counts), so MC should have one as well, right? Why else could she have used magic that's much more powerful than Solomon's? Maybe her Devil's Flower, or Angel's Flower bc it is Lilith's power is given to her, is not yet unlocked so her full potential is also not yet unlocked.

Just a guess hehe.

Oh and also, in the Pop Quiz event, we've seen that Lucifer is quite good at creating new genuses of flowers. I'm guessing that has something to do with Lilith (in my theory). Trying to recreate Lilith maybe.

Lucifer and Satan's Character Design : a rambling and analysis

Since im often playing the game and is already addicted to it, i started looking closer at the character models and saw that the hints between Lucifer and Satan's connection was already there even before reaching the explanation during satan's arc.

Im going to list off somethings I've noticed and connect them with my previous knowledge in demonology :3 lez go!

It is a well known fact that lucifer and satan are VERY similiar and its greatly explored in during satan's character arc. But even without knowing, there were already some hints left in the character models!

So here i have their models, its quite obvious that lucifer is taller than satan but that's not the focus. The focus mostly is on their posture( and same resting bitch face, but that's for another post ). It's mirrored and thats one of the things that really gave off their connection.

For a more in depth analysis~

Lucifer is said to appear as a beautiful innocent child( mostly said to be blonde because it was also said that lucifer was a cherub angel. And cherub angels were mostly presented as blonde children). and as we can see from the pictures...lucifer doesn't look so innocent at all, while Satan gives off a more gentle and inncoent vibe ( referenced by his description being all smiles are not all true ).

Satan and lucifer for some are actually one person, lucifer being the angel and satan being lucifer after his transformation into a demon. And this can be also applied as satan's origin of being born already a demon in the devildom from lucifer .

Another story about Lucifer is that he lost his wings not because of the fall from heaven, but because they were burned off. Which is why some representations of lucifer shows him with dark hair. ( To represent the soot caused by the burning) and as you can see it can even be applied here because the character model for lucifer literally has black hair, yet he still has his wings but they turned dark.

And that ends my short(?) Ramblings and analysis, i really love the thought that goes into the characters and just how these little things can mean more than just for aesthetic purposes.
