In this story that takes place directly after the events of HAWKEYE, Yelena shows up invited for Christmas since she was Natasha Romanoff's sister and thus family to Clint and the others. What she couldn't have anticipated beforehand, though, was the fact that Natasha adopted a little girl during the blip and named her after Yelena who was also erased for 5 years. Now, the four-year-old namesake begins to gradually change the Widow's life as Christmas---and then her fifth birthday---goes by.
When Yelena decides to quit hitting targets for Valentina, to raise her niece with Kate Bishop's help, the stakes eventually get high and the two of them have to protect her no matter the cost.

With that third arrow in the middle, I was barely aiming at all. I just walked away from the target, turned around and took the shot. In all honesty, if you’re trying to reach that goal of shooting an arrow per second or two arrows per second, how much time do you have to aim? Trick question. You don’t. You’re mainly focusing on the target and where your bow is pointing, so you have to rely on instinct when it comes to speed shooting. It’s the kind of thing that requires more training but it’s totally worth it when you get tight grouping like this. #arrow #hawkeye #saracenarchery #arabarchery #speedshooting #bambooarrow #targetpractice #archerylifestyle #slavicdraw I modified my shooting glove too, taking some good advice for the sake of dexterity when holding extra arrows in the draw hand https://www.instagram.com/p/CcGVSN_rGuO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Ok I just love this scene from the #hawkeye series. Hahaha #yelenabelova is an awesome character here and in #blackwidow film. I think she and #katebishop need a spin-off movie or something https://www.instagram.com/p/CaYtMZYsHnY/?utm_medium=tumblr

Working on making rubber headed arrows I can use in the basement. This time when gluing the rubber heads on, I cut a notch into the side of the wood and a crisscross at the flat top so that the superglue will get in there and the head shouldn’t slide around #arrow #bluntarrow #woodarrows #handmadearrows #targetpractice #archerylifestyle #archeryaddict #diy #indoorarchery #speedshooting https://www.instagram.com/p/CWRzUHxMZVP/?utm_medium=tumblr

Went hiking yesterday and saw this; where this bridge used to be, and then where the bridge is now. Way down the creek https://www.instagram.com/p/CVLkCmVrgOk/?utm_medium=tumblr

Two different finger holds when it comes to speed shooting, experimenting to see what’s faster. And just to clarify, if you can’t tell, these are blunt arrows as opposed to the big spongy LARP arrows. #robinhood2018 #robinhood #saracenarchery #arabarchery #targetpractice #arrow #horsebow #speedshooting #targetrange #shootingrange Thanks #larsandersen for introducing this stuff to today’s generation! https://www.instagram.com/p/CTmtpDSlJyn/?utm_medium=tumblr

The idea with speed shooting is “they might not get you with the first arrow, but the second arrow or third arrow were coming so fast after that, they would get you with one of those.” I still have to work on my speed but I’m getting better.

It’s definitely one that works, just can hurt a little bit making that pinch with my bony fingers—shooting glove makes it easier. So I extend the thumb to hold the nocks down (the muscle and bone structure in my thumbs is messed up as I’ve grown ‘cause of my EDS—the first digit makes a 90 degree angle just making a thumbs-up) and the forefinger is already up over the odd feather. So for me it’s tricky to decide which to use. Have to keep testing I guess

Shot through the container and off the railing and look! Still two arrows left in my hand. I shot those two kneeling down with the bow tilted to the right

“Trick shooting is fun 😊🏹”
Shot one of my new arrows into the coffee container and carried it through the air (Also, new rule I’ve set; for the sake of not breaking more arrows with my style of trick shooting, if I can penetrate the plastic with one arrow then that’s the “kill shot” from now on, don’t need to pincushion it).
That fourth picture, first try in another “3 arrows 3 chances” round. Went all the way through to the fletches, held the coffee container up.

Let’s face it I’m not exactly Howard Hill. I was trying to hit the bottle but instead I hit the first arrow’s shaft directly and split it like a twig—just a sliver of that outer layer holding the two pieces together. Those were my last two of the repaired/replacement arrows still intact so I better start using the yellow ones that I haven’t tried out yet.
Those yellow-fletched ones make me think Green Arrow and the Canaries, like he goes armed with “canary arrows” in his quiver or something.
