there are a lot of fun elements missing from rebirth Garth but what I really miss was when Garth would just unlock a new ability based on whatever plot they had going and it made complete sense because he canonically learned a ton of spells and new abilities that never were specifically named.

Like, of course Tempest can turn invisible and teleport and has telekinesis and can astral project people. he didn’t bring it up before because he’s shy :/

I’m a firm believer that all of Batman’s intel on Atlanteans does not come from his own research but from a young Dick Grayson coming back from their little titans club meetings with the most insane tidbits of info he found out from Garth

Arthur seems like a guy who lets little kids drink coffee and Garth is the kind of kid who chugs hot beverages like its water so what I’m saying is the League has 100% watched in horror as Aqualad downed an entire freshly brewed carafe of coffee while Arthur got really defensive about how “its fine he does this all the time”

Garth was absolutely a kid who is either incredibly shy or talks non-stop with no in between. I’m convinced everyone in the league had different first impressions of him depending on if they met him on land or in the water.
