I now know that I have closure because I can say for once, I’m being rational.

I took a step back & watched the last year of my life play out as an outer body experience.

If I were rational before, like he wanted me to be, he would not have gotten the chance to love me.

If I had any of the pride he insist is seeping from my pores, he would not have felt what it is like for me to love him.

I now know that this situation that makes me sad. That makes me crazy. That makes me question my worth

Would not be a situation if the tables were turned!
